Adam Green has a misconception of the Bible.
The New Testament is clear that Christians are God’s people. They have been grafted into the Tree of Life. The Jews have been cut off, granted, but a remnant will be grafted back in when they repent.
Because God is merciful, does that anger Adam Green?
This interview has been a waste of time.
First of all, Adam Green is clueless. He’s just the vanilla Adam King. He doesn’t have any knowledge of history or of the Bible. All he has is a set of quotes that he has cherry-picked without actually reading the whole thing.
His ignorance becomes increasingly obvious with every statement he makes.
Contrary to his claims, Paul wasn’t the first to take Christianity to the Gentiles. The original twelve Apostles had been preaching to the Gentiles before Paul’s ministry: Philip baptized an Ethiopian (Acts 8) and Peter converted a Roman (Acts 10). Christ Himself instructed the original Apostles, before Paul’s conversion, to teach and baptize all nations (Matthew 28). Only someone who hasn’t really read the New Testament would claim that Paul was the one who took Christianity to the Gentiles.
The belief that the Messiah will conquer death is specifically mentioned in 1 Corinthians, chapter 15: “The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death”, “For this corruptible must put on incorruption and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory, o death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” Clearly, Adam Green hasn’t read the New Testament.
And then there’s the asinine claim that Christianity is a “Jewish conspiracy” concocted to sabotage Gentiles. How exactly did a group of 1st century Jews exerting no power or influence in the Roman Empire manage to trick the Romans into believing that they (the Romans) had publicly executed someone who had never existed? Can Adam Green explain that?
The claim that European paganism is better for White people because “it’s ours” is a load of nonsense. First of all, pre-Christian Europe was replete with bitter wars and division among White people. Paganism had never forged any unity among White Europeans.
Secondly, European paganism often included human sacrifice, ritualistic murder and sexual degeneracy. So I fail to see how paganism would have benefited White European identity since at no point in pre-Christian history did White people think in terms of White unity and morality.
Of course, Adam Green doesn’t stop there, he keeps spewing nonsense by accusing Christianity of “ultimately failing” to safeguard White European interests but what he doesn’t seem to understand is that the same accusation can be leveled at paganism; it ultimately failed and it was replaced by Christianity. Let’s not forget that many pagan deities worshiped in pre-Christian Europe, like Mithras and Cybele, had been adopted from Middle Eastern religions.
The fact that Judaism and Christianity acknowledge the Old Testament is irrelevant. Republicans and Democrats acknowledge the US Constitution but no one can claim that these two factions are the same or that Republicans and Democrats understand the US Constitution in the same way. So just because Judaism and Christianity acknowledge the Old Testament doesn’t mean Jews and Christians understand it and use it in the same way.
I’ve lost count of how many times Brother Nathanael has pointed out during the course of this discussion that in Christian theocracies like the Byzantine Roman and Russian empires, Christ-denying Jews were not allowed to be involved in the state’s government, finance and education. The same can be said about the Spanish and the French empires and the Holy Roman Empire. Yet Adam Green focuses only on the opinions of recently made up American cults with no Apostolic succession as if these cults represented the whole of Christendom.
Also, non-Jews DID worship God in the Old and the New Testament. In Isaiah, chapter 56 it is clearly stated that Gentiles will be blessed by God and their burned sacrifices will be accepted on the altar in the Temple. So no, the ancient religion of the Old Testament did not exclude non-Jews.
Lastly, the Slaughter of the Innocents has been recorded by Macrobius. Adam Green likes to dismiss any non-Christian documentation of Christ on the basis that the author wasn’t contemporary with Christ, which would mean that he should also dismiss pretty much every written documentation of Alexander the Great and Nero since none was written during their lifetimes.
At any rate, this interview was pointless as far as I’m concerned. Adam Green has a personal vendetta against Christianity. His main beef is with Christianity, not Judaism and when people point this out in the comments section of his videos, he immediately blocks them.
He’s not on your side.

I’ve been following Brother Nathanael for a couple of years. I’ve watched this episode twice.
Alex did a great job bringing Brother Nathanael Kapner onto the show, Brother Nathanael tore Alex up, he ripped Alex and new one.
Hopefully Alex was able to see the truth, and he can start telling the truth instead of being a hypocrite.
I know how important the Lord Jesus Christ and the Bible is to Alex and Owen, please show them the following quotes from the Bible, they have obviously missed those parts, Alex and Owen should stop being hypocrites, it is never too late to start telling the truth.

When I read that +BN was going to be debating Adam Green, I looked him up, starting on Twitter.
I hadn’t watched Green or followed him at all, so I was interested in what he was about.
First things first. It was a pretty good interview. +BN had Green on the ropes and kept him there. How do I know?
It became rather obvious that Green doesn’t know a thing about basic Christian theology, doctrines, Church history, how to competently read and study the Bible, principles of biblical hermeneutics, other than what dry, empty protestantism he apparently grew up in, disavowed and walked away from.
Green got prickly & testy, interrupted and started talking over the top of +BN when he started to answer Green’s assertions and appeared to be able return competent refutations to Green’s cherrypicked scriptural “proofs” supporting his own toxic gospel of ‘Jesus Myth’ mythology.
+BN kept his cool just fine and when he had the chance, gave good answers. I was annoyed that Green wouldn’t accept any possible challenge to his ginned up ‘Jesus Myth’.
I’m not the only one who was annoyed. Several Rumble comments told Green to stop interrupting as well, they wanted to hear what +BN had to say to the finish.
Green should be lauded for attempting to make people more Jew-wise. He’s right to identify Jewish messianic millenarian madness, chosenness, and “Jewish power” as real problems. But stupidly and blasphemously bashing Christianity and even Islam at the same time with his ‘Abrahamic Conspiracy’ nonsense (which is likely drawn from ultra-nationalist Hindutva anti-Abrahamists by way of Aryanists/Odinists/Neo-Nazis) as some sort of vast, millenial-old “Jewish psyop” to trap the Gentiles into serving the Jews and their One World Order Under Mashiach doesn’t win him any allies, and really only serves the Jews.
Abrahamism refers to a collective category that encompasses three major monotheistic religions: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.
These faiths share historical and geographical connections to the land of Canaan/Israel/Palestine and revolve around the figure of Abraham, who is mentioned in the Hebrew Bible, the Christian Bible, and the Quran.
Green doesn’t seem to get that this is about all that’s doctrinally and theologically in common between the three religions, or the fact that the founding of proto-Rabbinic Judaism, which consolidated around AD 90, is actually younger than the founding of Christianity.
Rabbinic Judaism was consciously shaped as an anti-Christ religion, and out of hate for Jesus Christ and His Mother. The Talmud is full of blasphemies and smut directed at the two.
Jews hate the Cross. They hate it so much, Hebrew keyboards don’t have a + sign.
Immigrant Russian Jews, ignorant of writing with the Latin alphabet, signed their entry forms with a circle, eschewing the customary “X” as a sign of Christianity.
According to etymologyonline for the word ‘kike’, Ellis Island immigration inspectors began calling such people ‘kikels’, and the term shortened to ‘kike’ as it passed into general use.
Also this tidbit from the same source, that “Kike” was first used among the German-American Jews in reference to newcomers from Eastern Europe:
“There is no charity organization of any kind here [a small city in Pennsylvania] and, what is sadder to relate, the Jews in this city will not form one; that is, if the present temper of the people can be used as a criterion. I digress.
Islam, while while a strict monotheistic religion and not accepting the divinity of Jesus Christ, honor Him as a great prophet. The Quran identifies Jesus with the unique title of “Messiah” and no one else in the book. Prophets are considered to be lofty created beings who are nearly divine without being so. Jesus is mention far more times in the Quran than Mohammed is — 25 times vs 4 times respectively.
As I recall, Mohammed may have said Jesus was the greatest of all prophets, and His Mother Mary the greatest of all women as well as a mother of a prophet and the Messiah. Certainly from the number of times the Quran mentions Jesus son of Mary by name over anybody else would support Mohammed’s love and respect for Jesus Christ.
The great honor that Mohammed had for Christ and His Mother is supported by an obscure hadith where Mohammed was clearing the Kaaba of all the idols but told his followers that a picture of Jesus and Mary could stay. [7th century AD, which means a Byzantine icon. That means there were Christian Arabs worshiping at the Kaaba.]
When many Arabs & Muslims began hearing about the filth cast on Jesus and Mary in the Talmud, they were, and still are, furious.
Green has a lot more in common with the anti-Christ Jews than with any Christians — he hates Jesus Christ, he hates the Cross, he hates Christians, he hates the Church, and is hellbent on destroying Christianity.
Slogging through his 10-minute video, in the first two minutes I realized the guy is a Scriptural mess. He doesn’t read the Bible; he just looks for verses to cherry pick –“midrash” — his “Jesus Myth” bread and butter. In the ‘gospel’ according to the anti-prophet Adam Green, Jews invented Christianity and Islam to dupe Christians and Muslims into submitting to the Kabbalistic version of Yahweh (Ain Soph), who is ultimately a stand-in for the Jewish supremacists and their ‘divine souls’; Christians and Muslims are supposed to serve the Jewish god of Israel, which is basically — the divine Jew.
I do appreciate his determination to digging up everything on Jews, Rabbinic Jews, Secular Jews, Israhell, Whacko Rabbis, Jews being Jews, and Rabbis being Rabbis, Screwball Jews, Lunatic Rabbis. There’s some pretty revealing stuff coming out of the vile Rabbis mouths online, thanks to Green’s persistence and due diligence.
But, everything that he does find, he then twists it to support his Christ bashing as part of what he feels should make people more Jew-wise.
Clearly, the Jews aren’t afraid anymore to spew their subversions in public what they used to kept inside of the synagogue for fear of the Christian authorities, and had to speak and write in coded, subversive, symbolic language about what they are up to.
The videos offer up some good intelligence for Jew-watchers on what’s going on in the Rabbinic Hive-Mind of Jewry, what they are saying being Gentiles backs and what they really think, as much as I can follow their Midrash-speak. There’s a lot of boastful garbage, too. Like, crowing that authentic traditional Christians and the Church are here to serve the Jews, when the Jews aren’t plotting how to kill Christians off or turn them into good, Jew-worshiping Noahides.
In my own plowing through some of the online Orthodox rabbis, I found that they are very concerned about “Ox” and the “Ass” forming an alliance.
Whose the Ox? Esav = Christianity. The Ass? Ishmael = Islam. And yes, in some places the animosity between Christians and Muslims is fading away, especially among Shiites. Christians fought alongside Muslims in Syria and Iraq to fight ISIS and Al Qaeda.
Muslim Chechens, who are Sunni, fighting in the SMO consider themselves the “Army of Isa (Jesus)” fighting alongside their Russian Orthodox brothers and compatriots to liberate Russian territory from Satanic US/NATO/Ukronatsi LBGTQ globohomo new world order.
Green has no grasp of eschatology. Traditional mainstream Christianity interprets the Old Testament very differently from the way Talmudic Jews interpret it. For Christians (and Muslims) Jesus is the only true Messiah, whereas for Jews, Jesus is an imposter greeted with obscene insults.
Messianic Jews await a Messiah who will militarily conquer the goyim, the non-Jewish nations, and put them all under the rule of the Chosenites.
That “Messiah” will be viewed by Christians and Muslims as an imposter, i.e. the Antichrist, the Dajjal. While there are a number of differences in the details of Christian and Muslim eschatology, the main point is that obviously Christians and Muslims will fight against the Jewish “Messiah” who seeks to subjugate them.
And that’s why some rabbis are nervously chattering in Haggadah mystical folklore/fairy tale code about the talmudic Ox and the Ass forming an alliance against the Jews, and the Jews have to prevent this alliance.
Green also doesn’t grasp the basic idea of what the minimum level of traditional, normative Christian doctrine is, and what heretical and schismatic Christianity is, or that Western Christianity has been devolving from its original Orthodoxy for the past 1000 years, fracturing and splitting time and again through the great shifts of Anglo-Catholicism, Lutheranism, Reformation, Calvinism, Protestant Anglicanism, Presbyterianism, Congregationalism, Methodism, Baptist, Anabaptist, Evangelical, Christian Zionism, and now the Judaizers and Judeo-christians etc .
Oh, yes. Mustn’t forget this one — the Noahides.
And now the Chabad-Lubavitch and religious Zionists’ organized Noahide movement, which is tied into the growing messianic Third Temple Movement in Jerusalem, sucking up disaffected, apostate ex-Christians.
The end result here in America are 7-10 major denominations, and well over 20,000 different church sects, factions, cults, and congregations, the most politically powerful and active is the Evangelical Zio-christian wing, which is some 35% of the American Christian population. Zionism is the great dividing line in this great experiment in religious freedom heading towards the Abyss.
For example, Green stated in a tweet a couple of years ago: “99.9% of Christians are zio, I’ve seen the movie [Marching to Zion] several times. Anti-zio Christians are a fringe marginalized powerless minority. By their fruits you shall know them.”
“Anti-zio” Christians are far from a “fringe” minority. We are the majority although it is also true that we are marginalized and stymied in American political life because of Jew Power. AIPAC owns and runs the stable of Congress critters bought and paid for with their huge, deep pocket war chest. No one who does not profess undying loyalty to Israhell, Democrat or Republican, will get the support of AIPAC, much less get elected. AIPAC will go after anyone who is not an Israel-firster.
In determining whether any one Christian denomination is Zionist, their eschatology is the clue. Generally, it’s only the pre-millennialist view, the idea that the thousand-year reign of Christ in an earthly kingdom is still yet future. It requires a pro-Zionist position in order to make it a fully functioning prophetic worldview.
Anyone who accepts Green’s claim on Twitter that Christianity is 99 per cent Zionist doesn’t know much about Christianity. This lie also shows that Green doesn’t know much about Christianity. He could at least do some homework to get his facts straight. Or else, he perceives his audience as gullible enough to believe his agenda-driven polemical absurdity.
Protestant Christians: Approximately 42% of Americans identify as Protestant Christians, totaling around 140 million individuals.

Altogether, the Mainline Protestants, Catholics, and Orthodox are 36.2% of the American Christian population representing the non-Zionist policy, but it is the symbiotic Zionist Nationalists and their allied Israel-firster Zio-christians who have acquired all of the political power.
Even though there are far more non-Zionist Christians than there are Zio-christians, without kowtowing to AIPAC and the rest of Jew Power, there’s not a snowball’s chance in hell that a non-Zionist will be elected to an office of any consequence.
Which is a very good argument for making AIPAC and the entire interlocking directorate of Jewry’s synagogues and organizations register as foreign agents representing Israel.
Of course, we’d have to first elect enough non-Zionist politicians to Congress and the White House to make it happen. It’s Catch-22, unless we get a crypto-non-Zionist president who by executive order dictates that the DOJ force AIPAC to register.
Globally, Eastern & Oriental Orthodox Christianity are the third largest Christian population, behind Catholicism and Protestantism (the Anglican Communion). Evangelical Zio-christianism is uniquely concentrated as a political power in America and the British Commonwealth, in symbiotic relationship with the Jews.
Both Catholic and Orthodox Christians have led the world’s counter-Jewish movements throughout history. Think Catholic Spain & Portugal, and the Byzantine Roman Empire.
There are far more non-Zionist American Christians in America than he seems to think, and certainly not a fringe minority. But, his Christ-bashing and Christian-baiting with his “Jesus Myth” garbage has not and will not win him Christian allies (or American Muslim ones) in his quest to overthrow the Jew.

Before +BN’s ‘Unleashed’ appearance on Know More News, Green had pinned his ‘The Jesus Deception’ at the top of the video. He has since unpinned it, and now it’s just published in his Xwitter thread. Maybe out of embarrassment, I hope.
Here’s my reaction to Green’s “definitive video”.
Green is just a mess. This is not theology, he’s pushing his own invented non-theology, nihilogy if you will, of ‘Jesus the Myth’, denying that Jesus was even a real historical person. A genuine debate is impossible. You might as well debate zebras and canaries.
And he can’t even debate it intelligently, because of his ignorance of the most basic Christian theology and history.
His cherry-picking, cutting and pasting strings of scriptural phrases together, out of context of the original verse, chapter, and book, is just nothing more than a toddler scribbling colored crayons on the wall…and then calling it a coherent, realistic landscape drawing.
It’s nonsense. Noise. Just blasphemous nonsense. This is scriptural murder and spiritual abuse of Christians. But what can I say, he’s as much of an anti-Christ as the rabbis he professes to dislike intensely.
The only thing I could suggest to Green is to start over, learn the basics of how to actually read the Bible correctly, including recognizing the different literary genre, and doing word studies. Even atheist and agnostic secular Bible scholars and higher critics know how to do that.

Stacey Zolt Hara was in her office in downtown San Francisco when a text from her 16-year-old daughter arrived: “I’m scared,” she wrote. Her classmates at Berkeley High School were preparing to leave their desks and file into the halls, part of a planned “walkout” to protest Israel.
Like many Jewish students, she didn’t want to participate. It was October 18, 11 days after the Hamas invasion of southern Israel.
Zolt Hara told her daughter to wait in her classroom. She was trying to project calm.
A public-relations executive, Zolt Hara had moved her family from Chicago to Berkeley six years earlier, hoping to find a community that shared her progressive values. Her family had developed a deep sense of belonging there.
But a moral fervor was sweeping over Berkeley High that morning. Around 10:30, the walkout began. Jewish parents traded panicked reports from their children.
Zolt Hara heard that kids were chanting, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” a slogan that suggests the elimination of Israel. Rumors spread about other, less coy phrases shouted in the hallways, carrying intimations of violence.
Jewish students were said to be in tears. Parents were texting one another ideas about where in the school their children could hide. Zolt Hara placed a call to the dean of students. By her own admission, she was hysterical. She says the dean hung up on her.
By the early afternoon the walkout was over, but Zolt Hara and other Jewish parents worried that it was a prelude to something worse. They joined Google Groups and WhatsApp chains so they could share information.
Zolt Hara organized a petition, pleading with the school district to take anti-Semitism more seriously. It quickly received more than 1,300 signatures.
Most worrying was what parents kept hearing about teachers, both in Berkeley and in the surrounding school districts. They seemed to be using their classrooms to mold students into advocates for a maximalist vision of Palestine.
A group of activists within the Oakland Education Association, that city’s teachers’ union, sponsored a “teach-in.” A video trumpeting the event urged: “Apply your labor power to show solidarity with the Palestinian people.”
An estimated 70 teachers set aside their normal curriculum to fix students’ attention on Gaza.

I just watched Jordan Peterson being interviewed by Tom Bilyeau. What a pseudo intellectual load of horse puckey. The pair of them are so dishonest.
Jordan Peterson’s main role is to explain away the overrepresentation of jews in media etc which he says is a result of their intelligence. Jews are not intelligent. They are stupid. Smart people don’t murder helpless children by burying them alive under tons of concrete.
Smart people do not marry their own first cousins like Albert Einstein did and then abandon their kids, when like the son he abandoned they turned out to be vegetables.

Take a look at the facial features of the head of the Israeli military, at Wolf Blitzer etc. These so called smart jews all have German features and German last names ending with words like “stein” which means stone in German or Rothschild which means red shield in Germany.
The so-called smart jews are 95% German blood. The head of the Israeli military even has that strait crease down his face like actor Richard Widmark, which is a very German feature.
To get so much German blood coursing through their veins it means that either Semitic jewish women, protected in Germany (the former Holy Roman Empire) for 800 years either were attracted to German men or else they worked as prostitutes.

I’ve recently started reading the Bible myself. In an introduction to an Orthodox Study Bible it said that the way to read it, is to read it as though it was a lovingly written letter, personally written to you. This makes a huge difference.

The great Wonderworker of the latter times, St. John of Shanghai and San Francisco, offers a message ever timely and sobering, with the sole purpose of rousing our sleeping souls to watchfulness, to stand worthily before the dread judgment seat of Christ at the end of time.

The Icon of The Last Judgement

The icon of the Last Judgement is one of the most complex Christian images. As depicting the final things, it is a synthesis of the cosmic mystery. As an image of judgement, it is also the place where everything is resolved by Christ.
From the very first moments in my burgeoning interest in iconology, I have focused on this image, seeing it not only as the image of a cosmic culmination, but also as the culmination of iconography itself.
There is a theory according to which Iconography is eschatological and rooted in a vision of the kingdom, and if this way of seeing things has any value, the icon of the last judgement can be seen as the culmination of iconological patterns into one contained image.
Knowing that the earliest decorated churches used Revelations and eschatology as their excplicit motif, we can at least explore the relationships which still remains between the icon of the last judgement and church iconographic programs as whole, all the while looking at how the last judgement pulls in patterns from other known icons.
This past summer, I was invited to speak at the St-John Chrysosom Byzantine Catholic Church in Seattle and since there was someone to film and record the talk, it seemed like a good opportunity to explore this subject. In the preceding year, I’d also been given the chance to discuss this icon at St-John of the Ladder Orthodox in Greenville as well as at Holy Apostles Orthodox Church in Columbia, and so I had gotten a few practice runs in.
The image I chose is a contemporary icon painted by Fr. Luke Dingman. It is an icon which seems to appear quite a bit in churches, and when I gave my talk in Columbia last spring during lent, I was pleasantly surprised to find a reproduction of this very image at the back of the narthex!

As will be seen in future discussions of the component books of 1 Enoch, important Scriptural themes crystallize within the book. These concepts are referred to by the New Testament authors in a way that takes them for granted as at least the majority position of Jewish faithful in the first century AD. They are not argued for or demonstrated, merely alluded to and referenced.
The figure of Enoch is referenced three times in the New Testament. The first is a brief reference in St. Luke’s genealogy of Christ from Adam as would be expected (Luke 3:37).
The second occurs in Hebrews 11:5 in the listing of faithful figures and their legacy. Enoch is said to have been translated from this world, using the same terminology as Septuagint Genesis and Sirach. The emphasis of Hebrews is clearly on the fact that Enoch, unlike all other figures in the genealogies of Cain and Seth, does not die.
The third mention of the figure of Enoch comes in Jude 14-15. This reference is especially significant because it includes a quotation ascribed to Enoch. This quotation is from 1 Enoch 1:9.
More than just the identification of the quotation, however, in these two verses, St. Jude is clearly drawing deeply from Enochic traditions. First, he identifies Enoch as ‘the Seventh from Adam’.
…Further, St. Jude portrays Enoch through the quotation as a preacher of repentance to the unrighteous. Enoch does no preaching in the text of Genesis though this is possibly alluded to by Sirach. Throughout the Enochic literature, however, Enoch’s “walking with God” is described repeatedly as his preaching of righteousness to the wicked and corrupt generation that surrounded him.
Finally, the first chapter of Enoch, from which this quotation is drawn, is a midrashic commentary on Deuteronomy 33. Deuteronomy 33:2 describes Yahweh coming forth in judgment from 10,000’s of his holy ones.
St. Jude, therefore, is not quoting the general idea from the Deuteronomy text but rather the particular interpretation and application of this text from 1 Enoch. While this interpretation may have been more widespread than just the Enochic literature, St. Jude explicitly places this interpretive word in the mouth of Enoch himself.
Beyond these direct references to the figure of Enoch in the New Testament, there are a number of allusions and references to various parts of the text found across New Testament books. These are particularly concentrated in the epistles of Ss. Peter and Jude and, as one might expect, the Apocalypse of St. John.
Perhaps less expectedly, there are a number of references to Enochic material in St. Matthew’s Gospel. Many of these surround the way in which Christ speaks in that Gospel of the Son of Man as an apocalyptic figure.
Others, however, are more simple, such as the meek inheriting the earth (cf. Matt 5:5; 1 Enoch 5:7). In some cases, these allusions, once understood, bring out an added dimension of meaning. …
Beyond this, however, 1 Enoch found wide use in the ancient church. The Epistle of Barnabas twice cites 1 Enoch as scripture. He introduces one set of quotations with, “for the scripture says” and the other with, “for it is written” (16:6, 6).
St. Justin the Philosopher in the mid-second century refers more than once to the Watchers story as reflected in 1 Enoch and other Enochic literature. St. Justin is likely our most important witness to the separation between Christianity and other Judaisms that took place during his lifetime.
The central role played in 1 Enoch by the Son of Man as the second hypostasis of Yahweh likely doomed it to repudiation by non-Christian Jewish communities immediately. However, there is a tantalizing reference in St. Justin’s Dialogue with Trypho that another central emphasis of 1 Enoch was also a point of contention.
Trypho accuses St. Justin, and thereby Christians, that their “expositions are mere contrivances, as is plain from what has been explained by you; nay, even blasphemies, for you assert that angels sinned and revolted from God” (79).
Tertullian, writing c. AD 200, defends the authoritative status of 1 Enoch in part by saying that nascent Rabbinic Judaism had rejected it because it contained many prophecies pertaining to Christ (On the Apparel of Women, 1.3).
Also in the late second century, St. Irenaeus of Lyons gives a fairly detailed account of the teaching of 1 Enoch regarding the origin and fate of the powers of darkness, ascribing this teaching to the prophets (Adv. Haer. 10.1).
Another second-century father, St. Athenagoras of Athens, describes Enoch as a prophet and makes great use of 1 Enoch’s descriptions of the angelic realm (Legatio). Origen states that he had previously accepted 1 Enoch as Scripture, but later found that others did not consider it so and so moderated his stand.
Even among those who are familiar with this widespread Ante-Nicene acceptance of 1 Enoch as scripture, with many fathers and other writers throughout the first three centuries not only recognizing the teaching of the book as authoritative but arguing for the validity of its attribution to Enoch as a historical figure, it is often presumed that this shifted in the Post-Nicene church and 1 Enoch was marginalized and set aside along with the rest of the Enochic material.
This is incorrect on at least two counts. First, the teachings of 1 Enoch represent the earliest textual witness to principles of Christology, angelology, demonology, hamartiology, and eschatology which became doctrinally normative for the Christian church. The ubiquity, for example, of the understanding of demons as ‘fallen angels’ is a testament to this.
While 1 Enoch does not function as Scripture, it is not read in the church liturgically, many of its central teachings passed through the New Testament textual witness and that of the early fathers and came to rest on the authority of the church rather than on the authority of 1 Enoch qua document.
In the second place, despite this dynamic, here and there throughout the later history of the Orthodox Church, authoritative use of the text of 1 Enoch arises without controversy….
This means that as late as the 9th century it was remembered that the earliest textual tranche of the deposit of the aforementioned traditions is, in fact, the Book of Enoch.
It can, therefore, be seen that 1 Enoch and other significant Second Temple literature preserved through the centuries by the church occupies a place in relationship to the Old Testament similar to the place which the Apostolic Fathers hold in relation to the New.

The Grayzone said it obtained the slides from “a source who was present” during several “private briefings in New York City.”
These meetings or “PR sessions”, as The Grayzone put it, were “convened by the UJA-Federation and Jewish Community Relations Council”, both described as “prominent pro-Israel lobby groups” by the news site. The groups “rely on data” collected by Luntz.
The source told the website that participants were advised that “the presentations and data contained in the slides were strictly confidential.”

Listing the motives for the Palestinian militant group’s Oct. 7 massacre in Israel, he accused Jews of “bringing red cows” to the Holy Land.

The thing that most astonishes me about the Nazi party, under I believe it was economist Fritz Reinhard (My apologies to Fritz if I got the name wrong) is that the Nazis completely turned the German economy around in only three years without the help of anything like the Marshall Plan that was imposed on Germany after WW2.
If I were a third world country flat on my back I would mimic the template the Nazis used for the rebirth of Germany. It worked in the most spectacular fashion, but requires getting the jews out of banking, education and the economy.
I am also astonished by the creativity of Nazi Germany in the 1930s. They invented all kinds of useful things still in production today such as jet aircraft and super highways.
I made the same mistake with Atilla the Hun, the scourge of God. He was a very brave man who rode into battle at the head of his army.

Last Sunday, in the parable of the prodigal son, the Lord spoke to us about His unmatched love towards us. Today He speaks of the Second Coming and the Last Judgment.
The Second Coming, says the Lord, will be preceded by the “wicked audacity” of antichrist—fierce persecution against the faith. And if the Lord would not shorten the time, no flesh would be saved (Matt. 24).
The Gospel calls to purity and a pious life us who await the “day of the Lord”. And we repeat after the apostle Paul, For our conversation [in Church Slavonic, dwelling] is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ (Phillip. 3:20), through deeds of goodness, philanthrophy, love, mercy, and compassion, crowned with humility—we go to Christ and are established in Him.
“Watch ye therefore, and pray always” (Lk. 21:36), says the Lord, for in His Second Coming, then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn (Matt. 24:30). The tribes of the earth are those who are completely bound to the earth, who persist in their unbelief and carelessness for their souls, in their total commitment to the earthly.
Tribulation and anguish, will come upon every soul of man that doeth evil (Rom. 2:69). Those who live in Christ will be filled with joy, but those who live for the flesh will be filled with shame, sorrow, and despair.
The Creator gave man everything for his growth in goodness.
But when He sees evil again taking first place due to man’s free will, when He sees that people have abandoned Christ the Son of God, and have bowed down before and submitted to the antichrist, He will again come down to earth, but this time not as one Who is longsuffering, in humiliation, but as the Judge, separating the incurable from the healthy.
He will descend in great glory—He shall sit on the throne of His glory (Matt. 19:28).
This was also revealed to the prophet Daniel, who wrote: “I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit… and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed”(Dan. 7:9, 13–14).
In accordance with this prophecy of Daniel, the Gospel also says, “And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats” (Matt. 25).
The Lord calls the righteous sheep; they are quiet and meek, and walk the path in their life that Christ has shown. He calls sinners goats; they are impertinent, unmerciful, and dissolute. They live in worship to idols, and their idols are “nature” and carnal mindedness.
“Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world,” the impartial Judge will say to those standing at His right. “Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.”
In these words, the original thought and aim of the Creator at the creation of the world are expressed. The Creator gave man everything needed for the achievement of this aim: the Word become flesh, His sufferings, and the purifying and healing Sacraments.
“Come and inherit the kingdom… Enter into the joy of your Lord,” for as God’s children, you have lived according to the Gospel; you have correctly used the earthly, corruptible, and transient world.
In what was expressed the righteous’ correct use of earthly blessings, their likeness to Christ? In deeds of mercy and humility. “I was an hungred, and ye gave Me to eat… naked, and ye clothed Me…”.
“Lord, when did we see Thee hungry and gave Thee to eat, or saw Thee a naked wanderer… and served Thee?” the righteous will ask Him. Their humility can be seen in this question. And humility is the expression of love for God and man.
There was none of that amongst those standing on the left side of the Righteous Judge, Who calls them goats. “For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy” (Jas. 2:13), says the Apostle.
Therefore, the Lord also says, “Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.”
Let us pay attention to the Savior’s words: prepared not for you, not for man… But rather you people, through your own free will have bound your hearts and will to the devil; your hardness and enmity, uncompassionate hearts and miserly manners reveal the fullness of sin in you; you have placed your own selves outside of God.
Thus, my dear brothers and sisters, love and philanthropy, mercy and compassion, will reveal to us at the end of our earthly sojourn the “things which God hath prepared for them that love him… Which eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man” (1 Cor. 2:9).
The Gospel of the Last Judgment calls us to follow Christ. In following Christ, and becoming like Christ, man’s dignity and grandeur unfolds. Amen.

Ralph Ellis, who apparently prides himself as “Being independent from theological and educational establishments” including the Bible and minimal Christian theology, history and tradition, and the usual disciplines of History, Egyptology, (Biblical) Archaeology, and Biblical Studies and Languages, has spent the past 30 years writing fiction about “so many new biblical and historical truths”.
I can’t find what academic credentials he may have, but maybe I’m missing something.
He’s published quite a few books. For the most part, it all seems to be speculative.
Ellis has written Jesus was really an Egyptian Pharaoh. Except when Ellis decides that he was a prince of Edessa in northern Syria, who tried to become the king of Judaea.
Robert Sepehr is a Jew peddling warmed over neo-Aryan-Ten Lost Tribes-Euro-Israelitism, Atlantean Theosophic, Dragon bloodlines & Serpent Seed, Gnostic “christianity” & UFO b.s. with a side of “Nazism” who lives a very cushy life in affluent, upscale, heavily Jewish, Encino, CA (boasting the largest synagogue in San Fernando Valley-not a small valley, either, and the Valley is heavily Jewish overall), which I think also has a somewhat unusual number of resident Israeli-Americans.
Sepehr has, or used to have, a following of almost 600,000 mostly “Aryan” viewers/subscribers until his Iranian Jewish ancestry was discovered, and his viewership fell off for awhile. It may have climbed back up since 2 years ago or so.
While he could legitimately claim to not be “Ashkenazi” per alleged DNA tests, he fudged and didn’t disclose to his following that he’s a Jew, and actually of Mizrahi/Sephardi Jewish descent, his father being an Iranian Jew and noted Jewish film director, Ben-Hur Sepehr, who left Iran during the revolution.
Robert Sepehr used to call himself an archaeologist, now he calls himself an anthropologist.
He has “no problem with Israel or Jews” as long as the Jews aren’t leftwing Jews or Soros.
His late father, and therefore himself, is no doubt part of the wealthy, tightknit branch of Hollywood Jews colloquially named “the Persians’ who immigrated to the US during the Iranian Revolution, along with the ‘royal’ Pahlavi clan.

Sepehr hid the fact that he’s half Jewish with a Hollywood background for quite a long time. My conclusion is that, if he’s not purely performative, or a honey-trap, he attracts Gentiles into his audience by sounding “based and redpilled” in an attempt to make nationalistic rightwingers more receptive of Zionism and rightwing Jews. By purposefully omitting his Jewish heritage and glorifying “Nazis”, maybe he is doing that to cater to certain groups of people who do not like Jewish people–for money.

Sepehr’s publishing company, Atlantean Gardens, is registered as a Jewish religious charity for tax-exempt purposes. His father was listed as chief financial officer or something similar.

As an aside, the surname Volha does appear as a minor surname in Germany, but I find no information on actual origins.
It’s a stretch, but it may originally have been ‘Volga’ (not pronounced with a hard ‘g’ as in Ukrainian) as in her ancestors perhaps migrated to the Volga River region during Empress Catherine I’s reign, and were part of the Volga German communities. Some of these Russian German were farmers and agronomists eventually migrated to Midwest America in the 1870s and began farming here.
The Volga Germans suffered greatly during the famines, the Holodomar and WWII, and more Russian Germans migrated to Europe, North and South America.
Yogananda was an Indian-American (not American Indian) Hindu monk, yogi and guru.
Mickey Singer, student of Yogananda is a Jew. It is not at all unusual for Jews to take up Hinduism (Hin-jews) or Buddhism (Bu-Jews).
Gregg Braden is a Jew.

Israeli occupation forces prevented hundreds of Palestinian worshippers from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque and beat a number of them as they tried to reach the muslim holy site on the first night of Ramadan, eyewitnesses reported.
Only Palestinians aged over 40 were allowed into Al-Aqsa yesterday to perform Taraweeh prayers.
The eyewitnesses reported that Israeli occupation forces attacked worshippers and prevented them from entering through Bab Al-Majlis, one of the gates of Al-Aqsa, last night.
Earlier yesterday, the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tasked himself with making the decision on whether or not occupation forces would storm Al-Aqsa during the month of Ramadan.
Over the past few weeks, Israel’s internal security service, Shin Bet, and the army called on Netanyahu to make the decision himself because of the possible consequences of such a move, according to the authority.
It believed that this is a result of their lack of confidence in National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.
A few days ago, Netanyahu rejected a recommendation by Ben-Gvir not to allow residents of the occupied West Bank to enter Al-Aqsa Mosque during Ramadan, and to restrict access to the mosque only to Muslims aged over 70 who are Palestinian citizens of Israel.
Palestinians believe access restrictions are part of the occupation state’s efforts to Judaise the area.

The 29th of September marks the centenary of when the League of Nations ‘Mandate Agreement’ for Palestine entered into force in international law.
This legal instrument purported to put the commitment to establishing a Jewish homeland in Palestine made by Arthur Balfour in the eponymous Declaration of 1917—then merely a non-legally-effective statement—on a sound international legal footing.
It paved the way for how the UK administered the Mandate. The Agreement purported to bypass the legal obligation in Article 22 of the League Covenant to provisionally recognize statehood of and for the inhabitants of the Mandate—people who were overwhelmingly Arab Palestinians—at the time the Mandate commenced.
And it purported to permit the UK to maintain its administration, for what turned out to be a quarter of a century, so as to enable Jewish migration to, and Jewish institutions of self-government to be established in, what could then be proclaimed the state of Israel, as happened, covering part of the territory of the Mandate, in 1948.
In international law, then, the key date for the supposed legal basis for all that happened in that period is 1923, not 1917.
On the eve of the centennial anniversary of that date, this lecture will present a new argument, challenging the received wisdom about the legal effectiveness of the Mandate Agreement.
For the first time it will be explained that the body adopting the Agreement—the League Council—did not have the legal power to modify the obligations in the League Covenant, and, as such, the requirement to implement provisional statehood in Article 22 remained the operative legal obligation binding on the UK.
Consequently, by failing to enable Palestinian statehood a century ago, the UK breached international law, and this can form the basis for a claim for reparations by the Palestinian people today.

Understanding the problem is the biggest part of getting behind solving the problem and supporting the problem solvers, in this case the international lawyers working on behalf of Palestine.
Dr. Wilde, speaking as legal representative for the Arab League, presented a powerful, reasoned, sound legal theory argument before the ICJ defending Palestinians’ inherent right of self-determination established by the League of Nations Covenant.
He brought up historical violations of international law by both the UK and the Jewish state that I’ve not ever heard before, long glossed over by the usual suspects baffling the world with bullshit. Once Dr. Wilde mentions them, they are just obvious as hell.
What legal remedies Palestine can actually pursue through the international courts to force the UK and the Jewish state to rectify the wrongs remains to be seen.
In the meantime, Dr. Wilde’s court argument also gives even stronger legs to the Resistance movement and their armed resistance to Jewish occupation and colonization. Since Palestine had the immediate right to independence and self-determination under the League Covenant since 1923.
It’s no longer a matter of fighting for self-determination, the Resistance is now fighting a war for the liberation of the Palestinian state whose inherent right of self-determination and independence was established in 1923.
Israel certainly understood Dr. Wilde.
Hindsight being 20-20 with this revelation, now I see why all of a sudden, Netanyahu made a sea change and became keen on pushing comprador Mahmoud Abbas, Fatah, and the puppet PA forward as the only legit administration in the Gaza Strip that Tel Aviv would accept.
Before this, Bibi’s snorting and stomping was about permanent Israeli military occupation of Gaza, strongly implying the complete and total ethnic cleansing and annexation of the Occupied Palestinian Territory.
It’s Bibi’s attempt to put lipstick on a pig, trying to hide the fact that in international law effective 1923 Mandatory Palestine was provisionally recognized as an independent state, and that the Jewish state, imposed on Palestine as a cancerous tumor, has been illegitimate from the very beginning.
No international recognitions ignoring this legal requisite since then can overcome this legal disability and make it legitimate.

October 7, 2023 broke Mighty Israel, shattered its illusion of invincibility forever, bitterly disillusioning the Jews, and emboldened the Axis of Resistance throughout Western Asia.
Since then, the mass-psychopathic people of Israhell have simply descended into madness, with 93% approving the IDF’s democidal murderous rampages against the Palestinians and complete destruction of Gaza. 83% approve of complete genocide, ethnic cleansing, conquest annexation and Jewish resettlement of the Gaza Strip. West Bank is also currently on the menu as well.
Retribution for the Palestinians through legal, diplomatic, political, and even military means won’t be through the Jew-controlled West, but enforced through the emerging multi-polar world, one way or the other.
I found it highly symbolic, after listening to Dr. Wilde, to revisit the Palestine Action activist who just destroyed the oil portrait of Lord Balfour at Trinity College. One thing which stood out was the deliberate cutting out of a document that Balfour was holding, perhaps a representation of his fateful Declaration.

It looks like the legendary Gurkas are findng the Russia/Ukraine war too hot for their taste.
Hindustan Times says India has recovered some Indian people from the Russian army and now a handful of Nepalese also want to get out.
Both groups signed up to fight for the Russians and both groups don’t like being on the front lines.
They sure look like Gurkas to me and the Gurkas come from both Indian and Nepal. The Nepalese Gurkas are the better soldiers but the Indian Gurkas sign up as mercenaries for less money.
I know a British officer/Sandhurst graduate who sublets the latter because they are less expensive to hire. The British often use the Gurkas as bodyguards, but it appears the Gurkas don’t like trench and drone warfare.
Another interesting site is Electronic Intifada. They analyse the various battles. It appears that Hamas, an army of 30,000 compared to the IDFs 600,000 is actually winning. It’s a real David (Hamas) and Goliath (the IDF) story.
The jews have the best military equipment that the American taxpayers can buy, and Hamas makes its own weapons often from sewer pipes, but they have learned how to adapt these substandard weapons to destroy Israeli tanks.
Electronic Intifada says the first RPG hit softens the metal and the second in the same place penetrates the tanks.
The Israelis are either hiding in tanks or on the street clustered in groups because they are afraid. Hamas uses very aggressive lone gunman accompanied by a cameraman at very close ranges.
Most Hamas fighters don’t seem to have firearms, just home made RPGs. I noticed that on the first day of the war. A lot of he Hamas fighters that invaded Israel did not have weapons.
They just wrestled the jew boys to the ground, took them captive and hauled them back to Gaza with the help of motorcycles.

I think EI is based in Chicago. I recall that Ali also has relatives in Gaza, and that some of them have been killed, along with friends.
EI, while Ali sometimes alludes to it and himself being ‘progressive’, is committed to high journalistic ethics and standards as well as ‘countering the narrative’, and although news and opinions are from a Palestinian perspective, EI has always striven to report as impartially as possible.
Jon Elmer is EI’s military analyst, and he does a good job explaining the official Al Qassam field videos (which back up the field reports) and the weapons that Al Qassam (Hamas) and the other main resistance militias have engineered and are using as specialists, as well as Hezbollah.
That homemade anti-tank weapon is the Al-Yassin RPG, a Hamas invention. They’re produced in underground weapon machine shops.
The rocket engineers created the unique, two-layer tandem warhead grenade: it has a smaller penetrating extremely high-heat penetrator on the front which squirts a jet of hot liquid metal to punch holes in armor (and the jet of molten metal will blast through human bodies unlucky to be on the other side of the armor plate, and a larger, more destructive explosive instantly follows behind it.
It overall seems to be a highly effective RPG — a lot of the IDF’s Merkavahs and APC’s have been taken out of service because of the Al-Yassin, so I’ll guess it’s lethal enough.
The IDF boys are terrified of the Resistance fighters who will pop out of nowhere or move like smoke through the rubble, and literally walking through interior walls of partially destroyed buildings.
The snipers (and their home engineered sniper rifles which will punch through several layers of concrete block) don’t fire from windows. They fire from further back in the room.
The diaper-wearing IDF jew-boys complain it’s like fighting ghosts, and so they don’t like to go in and clear buildings because they’ll either get ambushed, trapped from outside, or else walk into booby traps.
Something that the Palestinian Resistance consistently do NOT do is to fire on vulnerable medivac helicopters and ambulances removing IDF wounded. The fighters will monitor the movements of the medivac helicopters and ambulances, the loading of the IDF wounded and dead, but they do the honorable thing rather than commit a war crime, even if they thought they could get away with it. -Kj

Amid failure of UN organs, time to form war crime tribunals against Israel: Lawyer

Independent countries must come together and establish international tribunals to hold the Israeli regime accountable for its genocidal crimes in Gaza, says a South African lawyer.
Ziyaad Patel, a prominent human rights attorney from South Africa, in an interview with the Press TV website, said the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and other UN organs have “fallen short of fulfilling their duties” amid the ongoing genocide in the besieged Palestinian territory.
He said the international community should not pin much hope on the ICJ and other organs of the world body, citing their susceptibility to Western influence.
In late January, the top UN court issued provisional measures in response to a lawsuit filed by South Africa, which ordered the Tel Aviv regime to take all measures within its power to prevent acts prohibited by the Genocide Convention but stopped short of calling for a ceasefire.
Patel said South Africa had provided “sufficient evidence” to the ICJ, demonstrating that the Israeli regime has perpetrated genocide and other grave offenses in Gaza since October 7.
More than 31,200 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza in the past five months, including almost 14,000 children and 9,000 women, making it the deadliest war against Palestinians in recent history.
The South African human rights attorney cited the murder of six-year-old Hind Rajab, among other victims, as definitive evidence of what he termed Israel’s genocidal warfare.
These acts, he noted in an interview with the Press TV website, were intentional to cause harm to civilians corroborated by statements from Israeli leaders that dehumanized Palestinians by calling them animals.
Hind, who went missing after the family’s car was brutally attacked by Israeli forces in the war-torn strip in late January, was found dead almost two weeks later.
Patel said the Israeli regime has been bent on portraying Palestinian resistance fighters as terrorists, but the fact is that the right of resistance is intrinsically linked to the right of self-determination, a principle sanctioned by international law.
He called for initiatives to “find ways to achieve our goals” in the absence of proper conduct by international bodies such as the ICJ.
The attorney urged nations like Iran, Algeria, and Malaysia to collaborate in forming specialized courts, such as an Islamic international criminal court, to address the lack of action by international institutions.
“Free countries should utilize their internal legal capacities and engage in bilateral or multilateral treaties to form independent war crimes tribunals to hold the Israeli regime and its backers accountable for the catastrophic events unfolding in Gaza and the broader repercussions on our environment and the security of our planet,” he stated in a conversation with the Press TV website.
Patel expressed doubt that Israel would comply with the ICJ’s orders if it goes in favor of Palestinians, referring to the 2004 case when the world court deemed Israel’s separation barriers illegal but the regime blatantly disregarded the ruling.
He noted that the ICJ lacks an enforcement mechanism and that only the UN Security Council (UNSC) possesses the authority to push for the enforcement of the court’s decisions.
However, he said the UNSC has been highly politicized and has repeatedly failed the Palestinian cause.
Despite these challenges, Patel maintained that the international community is bound by the ICJ’s judgments, which should inform free nations on policy implementation to support the court’s decisions.
At the very least, countries should undertake diplomatic initiatives to isolate Israel, the attorney said.
“Nations should operate both within and outside the UN framework to isolate Israel through boycotts, divestment, sanctions, and other diplomatic measures,” he stated.
Patel emphasized the grave state of affairs in occupied Palestine and the global community’s obligation to safeguard Palestinian lives and society.
“The situation in occupied Palestine is on the brink, and it is our collective duty to ensure the preservation and protection of Palestinian lives and their societal structure,” he stressed.

There are plenty of secular, Israeli, and Christian archaeologists, historians, and cultural anthropologists specializing in the Ancient Near East, Biblical research, and Palestine who can describe the life and material culture of the ‘biological Jesus’ without making up or appropriating Christ romance myths gleaned from other esoteric pop crypto-Jesus researchers, like the authors of Holy Blood, Holy Grail.
Apart from denying Jesus’ Divine nature, and their judicial murder by Roman crucifixion for the blasphemy of “making Himself co-equal with God”, the Jews know that Jesus was of the tribe of Judah, clan of David.
They knew it then, they know it now. They knew when He walked the earth that he was of the royal clan, and that genealogies in Matthew and Luke were valid pedigrees which could lock in the claim of his earthly kingship. The Talmud records that genealogies for the priesthood were carefully protected and preserved, and no doubt the royal geneaologies for the house of David, in the custody of a special officer. Other Jewish literature mentions that the Temple kept Israelite genealogies for all of the tribes of Judah, as well as a separate archive of genealogies kept by the ancient Syrian-Canaanite ‘Mixed Multitudes’ who came out of Egypt with Moses.
The Jerusalem elites and the Scribes & Pharisees were terrified that Jesus would take their political power away because so many people were following Him. They would not have missed the popular acclaim on the Sunday before Passover, when there were tens of thousands of pilgrims in and around Jerusalem for the feasts of the Passover and Unleavened Bread, acclaiming him as the Messiah and the King of Jerusalem.
And that’s why the Rabbinate worked so hard to caste filth on him and His Mother in the Talmud — attempting to void His genealogy through libel and slander. They smeared Jesus as being a bastard son of Mary’s adulterous affair with a Roman soldier, which of course would invalidate both of his Davidic pedigrees — from Joseph’s side through Solomon and from Nathan’s side by libeling Mary as an adulterous whore and prostitute.
As far as they’re concerned, no matter how “Jewish” in the flesh the progressive, liberal neo-Arian Dr. James “I stand with Israel” Tabor, other Judaizers, and messianic Jews want to make Jesus, Christ is still a ‘bad Jew’ as far as the Rabbinic Jews are concerned for claiming to be God and so a blasphemer. His miracles are attributed to Jesus being an Egyptian magician.
Tabor is a libelous Arianist heretic in sheepish scholarly clothing. The Arian heresy was anathematized by the First Ecumenical Council of Nicea in AD 325. He believes “in a higher power” and “is a follower of Jesus”. Basically, he has ginned up a faux Gospel According to James Tabor.
Rather than just leave his studies on the secular, scientific, fact-based research on the historicity of Jesus and the material culture of His Galilean world of the New Testament (Jesus spent a very small time preaching in the district of Judah and the City of Jerusalem compared to His Galilean & Perean ministries), Tabor plows into the realm of Christ fantasies, such as ‘Holy Blood Holy Grail’ mythology.
Let us recall that Holy Blood, Holy Grail, was published after the BBC broadcast a popular “documentary” in 1982.
Tabor denies Jesus’ Divinity, believes Jesus married Mary Magdalene based on the flimsy evidence of heretical Gnostic Gospels, and a fragment of a papyrus. His ‘evidence’ was written mostly in the 3rd and 4th centuries, long after the Crucifixion, with the earliest so-called Gospel of Thomas written by Gnostics around AD 140, and not at all qualified forensically to be a literary witness or evidence.
With the exception of the Thomas fragment, nearly all of the Gnostic ‘Gospels were written centuries after the last of the Apostles and personal witnesses to the Resurrection of Christ died–St. John the Theologian.
Tabor calls these “the lost gospels” — products of centuries later Gnostic ‘Christian’ cults, giving them the same weight of authenticity as the contemporary and near-contemporary writings of Christ’s own disciples written and published by actual disciples and witnesses of Christ’s life and Resurrection, or within living memory of the events.
Tabor believes that Jesus was just a human being who taught a message of social justice Who was married to Mary Magdalene, and had kids.
His claim of Jesus’ marriage to Mary Magdalene lacks any credible historical evidence. It first appeared in Gnostic writings centuries after Jesus’ time, making it a contentious narrative, to be polite.
None of the canonical Gospels, New Testament documents, or early Christian sources from the Apostles and the next generation of Apostolic Fathers, who were in living memory of the life and times of Jesus Christ and the Apostles, explicitly state that Jesus was married.
For example, Apostolic Father and Hieromartyr Ignatius the God-Bearer, was a disciple of the holy Apostle and Evangelist John the Theologian, as was also Saint Polycarp, Bishop of Smyrna. Saint Ignatius was the second bishop of Antioch, and successor to Bishop Euodius, Apostle of the Seventy. The Church of Antioch was founded by Apostle Simon Peter. He is a living witness, a first generation disciple of the Apostles — an Apostolic Father.
Besides the 12 Chief Apostles, there were the 70 Apostles who were disciples of Christ since the time of St. John’s Baptism and witnessed the Resurrection, who went out into the world to preach the Gospel and planted churches as well.
Tradition suggests that when Saint Ignatius was a little boy, he was the child who was hugged by the Savior and placed on his lap when He said: “Unless you turn and become as little children, you shall not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven” (Mt. 18:3).
But, Tabor’s claims for the non-existent marriage between Jesus and Mary Magdalene rests on his speculative evidence as wispy as cobwebs: ‘There’s just something about Mary’ which basically amounts to emphasizing Mary Magdalene’s prominence in the Gospel life of Jesus and witness of His Resurrection.
And then there’s that irresistible modern Freudian itch to sexualize everything. So for Tabor, in order for Jesus to be the perfect Jewish itinerant rabbi that Tabor wants Him to be, Jesus must also have had a sex life and so wasn’t celibate. And if He wasn’t celibate, and was married and had a sex life, then he must have had children with Mary Magdalene.
Mary Magdalene’s age is not given at all in the Gospels. We only know that she was an independent woman of considerable means from the town of Magdala in Galilee. Perhaps she was a rich older widow beyond child-bearing age who became a Follower of the Way. Perhaps she was a righteous widow dedicated to YHWH like Prophetess Anna of Ashur at the Temple, but the Magdalena became possessed of seven demons. Did Tabor ever think of that?
We do know Mary Magdalene became the leader of a group of women who traveled with Jesus, and who supported Him and His disciples and ministry financially. Two groups traveled with Jesus: a group of men led by Simon Peter and a group of women led by Mary Magdalene. It was the common practice for men and women to accompany each other when traveling, but they moved in separate groups.
Which is the most likely explanation as to how Jesus parents, Joseph and the Virgin Mary, didn’t notice for three days that Jesus was missing from the travel party of family and villagers heading home to Nazareth after attending the Passover Feast at the Temple. There were probably a few hundred in Jesus’ day.
At the end of the first century, it’s estimated that Nazareth had a population of 1000, and most who could do so would have made the temple pilgrimages at the same time.Women and children would have been in one group, and the men and older boys in the other. Each one probably thought the 12-year-old Jesus was in the other’s travel party.
And then when Jesus turned up missing, they backtracked along the road, some of which crossed hilly terrain, to make sure He had not wandered off or somehow injured Himself without being noticed.
And, Tabor’s mind, because Jesus must have had children because He was a good Jew, there was really a royal dynasty secretly ruling Jerusalem, or the Church, or the Jerusalem Church or something like that. It is true that St. James the Brother of the Lord was the first bishop of Jerusalem, and Holy Tradition records that Jesus’ other step-brothers also became bishops of the Jerusalem Church as well.
That’s found in a somewhat obscure early Orthodox patristic source, because one of the Caesars was concerned about the Jerusalem bishops being members of the Davidic clan related to Jesus, and questioned one of the bishops about it.
Tabor’s book Jesus and Paul is really nothing but a rant where his absolute disgust for Paul shows through, in common with the venomous Jewish Sages who despise Paul as a traitor and apostate. Tabor claims that the Apostle Paul separated himself from Peter and James to introduce his own version of Christianity, hijacking the Jewish Jesus movement and invented what is known today as “Western Christianity”.
And while it’s always quite interesting to me to learn more about the life, times, cultures and societies that Jesus Christ spent His incarnation in, Tabor goes way to far by portraying our Lord and Savior as the Jesus he prefers to see in the New Testament: an itinerant wandering righteous Jewish rabbi whose supreme mission in life was to promote social justice.
That is absolutely not true. It falls right in line with the old hatred and venom that the Pharisee Rabbis and Jews have for Paul down through the ages, a Pharisee like themselves, and which Tabor’s Zionist Jewish pals no doubt celebrated and paid him handsomely (bought many, many books) for. When Jews are not busy trying to make Jesus Christ over into their own image of a Yiddish-speaking East European rebbe.
Jesus Christ, the Incarnate YHWH was indifferent to his racial/tribal origins or his kinship in the flesh to the ancient Judahites. In human terms, Jesus was culturally a pious Galilean Yahwehist, adhered to the Written Torah as only divinely inspired and authoritative (similar to the Sadducees, and to comparable to the Samaritans’ more stringent Yawehism).
Outside of the tetrarchy of Judaea there were few or no sages and Pharisee proto-rabbis. The teachers and leaders of Galilean synagogues would have been the leading elder or wise man of the town, a priest, or a Levite.
The priests and Levites were the divinely appointed teachers of the people, the ones to occupy Moses’ Seat and teach directly from Scripture, according to the Law of Moses, not the self-appointed rabbis and their secret Oral Torah handed down in a separate tradition from Moses.
The Pharisees and Rabbinical scholars often looked down upon Galileans, whom they considered no better than country bumpkins, just as they disdained the piety of the ordinary people of the land, the am Ha’aretz.
Galileans, although considered stricter in their observances from the Written Torah by the rabbis and Pharisees, were accused of neglecting traditionalism “traditions of the elders” and learning from various wandering wise men.
Galileans inability to rise to the “heights” of Rabbinical flights of imagination, distinctions and subtle sophistries and verbal hair splitting, was also noted in the Talmud.
It was, however also noted that Galileans were very scrupulous about ritual purity. Archaeological excavations of Nazareth and vicinity have turned up a considerable number of stone vessels, chalkware and cooking ceramics of a certain kind of clay and formation that would indicate a high regard for ritual purity laws.
Jesus was raised and matured in Nazareth, where there was likely priestly and Levite families along with ordinary observant Galilean (mostly Israelite) families, adhering to the ordinary Second Temple Yahwehism of the vast majority of Judaeans.
Their tribal affiliations are long lost, except for the Israelite Samaritans, who because they have never moved from the land as a polity and have lived in their historical territory continuously for 2600 years, they can justifiably claim ancestry from Ephraim and Manassah as well as Levi. Roughly 80% of the Samaritan males today carry the so-called ‘Cohen gene’ marker, identical but for one mutation to the celebrated ‘Cohen gene’ marker found in just 40% of Jews with the last name of Cohen and its surname cognates.
In the mid to late 1st century AD from archaeological finds, a top priestly family (unknown name) moved to Nazareth, as discovered from certain unearthed cut rock tombs, perhaps after AD 70. This priestly family would not have done so if there were no other priest or Levite families there.
Archaeologists have also found broken marble synagogue inscriptions of a partial list of names of priestly families and their towns slated for Temple service, one of which is from Nazareth and names their assigned place in the 24-priestly courses, which also date to at least AD 70 if not earlier. This partial list and names are also corroborated by later Jewish lamentation literature about the destruction of the Temple, possibly dated after the Bar Kochba war against Rome (AD 131/132-135/136).
Ever since Queen Alexandra Salome, wife of Hasmonean priest-king Alexander Janneaus decreed mandatory literacy for everyone in her realm, at least literate enough to read Holy Scripture, Jesus was taught to read and memorize Scripture at home, largely by His Mother. He perhaps also attended any school at the synagogue for Nazareth’s children.
Joseph, when still alive, would have attended to the synagogue readings and lessons of the day if Mary and Jesus as a young boy and youth hadn’t attended synagogue for some reason.
Tabor contends that Jesus, as a descendant of King David, established a dynasty for himself. He suggests that Jesus saw himself as an earthly Messiah, akin to King David, with the role of ruling and delivering Israel.
Never mind the fact that Christ rejected an earthly kingdom as the King of Jerusalem as one of Satan’s tests during His Temptation in the Wilderness.
Tabor bases a lot of his speculations from his work on the Talpiot Tomb, asserting that it is the burial place of Jesus of Nazareth and His family, discovered in 1980, which contained ten ossuaries, which no other archaeologists, historians, and scholars of the New Testament era agree with, and some find ludicrous, even the most secular ones.
One of the inscriptions reads ‘Yeshua bar Yehosef’, per Tabor but its legibility and interpretation are widely disputed, meaning, the inscription is not clearly readible. But, Tabor can just put his special goggles on, and clearly reads the inscription, and instantly knows that this ossuary held the bones of Jesus the Christ.
Alas, there are quite a few problems with Tabor’s assertions.
Tabor’s theory contradicts the clear witness of the canonical Gospel accounts, which do not mention Jesus’ burial in such a tomb. Of course, with the resurrection from Garden Cave belonging to Joseph of Arimathea, there would be no bones after the flesh had decayed away to reinter for permanent burial storage in an an ossuary.
Jesus of Nazareth came from an impoverished branch of the Davidic clan, and a low-class Galilean family, whereas the Talpiot tomb shows signs of belonging to a very wealthy Judean family. The Talpiot Tomb dates to the Second Temple – Herodian period (around 515 BCE to 70 CE), consistent with wealthy Jewish families.
Over 900 similar tombs have been unearthed in the same area, suggesting that this tomb was not unique.
Tabor clings to the Talpiot Tomb in order to bolster his own, rather incoherent view on the resurrection of Christ.
He believes the Talpiot tomb contained the bones of Jesus, and so he denies the resurrection of Christ as defined as the raising of Jesus’ dead body three days after dying on the cross. He passes over Christ’s raising of Lazarus after 4 days in the tomb, after decay and corruption had set in, but then Tabor doesn’t believe in Jesus Christ’s divine wonder-working.
He claims that ancient Jews and Christians conceived of resurrection as a reconstitution of the dead person in a new body, not a raising of the dead body, making the old body irrelevant. True so far as it goes.
Dem bones, dem bones, dem dry bones. Because of Ezekiel 37:1-14, the prophet’s vision of the Valley of Dry Bones, God called marrow into the dry bones, and flesh into being on the bones, and made the dead bones rise to life, and so the bodies were “reconstituted” from the dry bones.
That’s why in Judaea and elsewhere bodies were temporarily entombed for about a year to let the body decay off of the bones, and then the bones were stored in ossuaries to wait for the day that Yahweh resurrects the dead. Or, some Ancient Near East cultures, like the Zoroasatrians and Edomites, exposed their dead on special platforms to vultures and other scavengers to strip the flesh away from bones.
After a period of time, the bones in some cultures were collected and stored in ossuaries, in others, bones were left to the elements.
But Greek anastasis and Latin resurrect simply mean ‘a rising again from the dead’ in whatever condition a corpse may be in on the Day of Resurrection and the Last Judgement.
So, in Tabor’s thinking drawn from his own conclusions about what he believes Jews and early Christians thought resurrection was, then, Jesus did not actually resurrect because He did not decay to dry bones, and was then ‘reconstituted’ by God.
Hence he does not see his view that Jesus’ body was NOT raised on the third day as a repudiation of the overall idea of resurrection — and even a physical resurrection at that, as long as said resurrection involves a “reconsitution”.
Clearly, if Jesus’ body wasn’t reconstituted from dry bones, then Jesus wasn’t resurrected. “Corpse revival is not resurrection from the dead.” His words, not mine.
That’s the gospel according to James Tabor.
In any case, Tabor defends the Talpiot Tomb as being the Jesus Family Tomba because it legitimizes Tabor’s speculative, essentially fictional book, ‘The Jesus Dynasty: The Hidden History of Jesus, His Royal Family, and the Birth of Christianity.’
The book is summarized as follows: Tabor rejects the virgin birth of Jesus, also arguing that Jesus’ father was not Joseph, but a Roman soldier named Panthera. (This was first proposed by the 2nd century Greek philosopher, Celsus, who got it from the gossip and polemics of the anti-Christ Jews.) Jesus and John the Baptist were royal and priestly messiahs, respectively. The focus of their teaching was social justice, a call back to the Torah and restoring the Jewish kingdom of God.
Jesus expected God’s help and protection in this mission, but, alas! God didn’t come through, and so Jesus was instead crucified.
Jesus did not rise from the dead—an idea Tabor argues was developed by the Apostle Paul.
Once Jesus was dead dead, not resurrected, not corpse revived, not reconstituted, the leadership vacuum in the Jesus movement was filled by his brother Joseph (Heb. Yoseh) and then by another brother, James.
Since Jesus was of Davidic lineage, so were his brothers—in effect forming a new Davidic dynasty. James and Jesus’ followers continued to call for national reform in Israel, according to the Gospel of James Tabor.
In Tabor’s thought, what we, orthodox (small o) Christians, know from the Gospels about the Glorious Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, was actually just articulated by Paul in opposition to what Jesus and his dynastic brothers REALLY taught.
Tabor claims that all of the Gospels were written well after Apostle Paul’s Epistles, and that Paul is the source for the resurrection story in the Gospels instead of the witness of the Apostles and about 500 others of Jesus disciples.
As for the Talpiot tomb itself, most of the ossuaries had been broken, then reassembled, 6 out of 10 of the ossuaries have somewhat decipherable inscriptions of names which were very common (Jesus, Joseph, Matthew, Judah, Mary or Mariame), although a couple were badly scratched. Only two names have a sonship patronym.
1) There’s no proof that Jesus of the tomb’s Jesus ossuaries (one ossuary reads Jude, son of Jesus, the other Jesus the son of Joseph) was in fact Jesus of Nazareth;
or 2) that the names of the others in this tomb were related to the Jesus of this tomb in the same way that people with those names were related to the Jesus of the New Testament; or
3) that a poor Galilean family, of a marginalized cadet branch of the Davidic clan hailing from Nazareth, would have ties in Jerusalem. The Talpiot tomb belonged to a well-off family from the 1st century AD.
Tabor defends his good pal and “archaeological investigator,” son of holo-fable Romanian Jewish survivors, Israeli-Canadian Simcha Jacobovici’s film for the Discovery Channel, The Lost Tomb of Jesus, which in turn was the launch of a publicity campaign for a book on the subject by Jacobovici, co-authored with Charles Pelligrino.
The two-hour special focused on the 1980 discovery of what appears to be a family tomb located in East Talpiot, Jerusalem.
The tomb housed ten ossuaries (bone boxes), several of which bore inscribed names intimately associated with Christianity, including Jesus, Mary, and Joseph.
Jacobovici claims that one of the ossuaries should be identified as that of Mary Magdalene, whose inclusion in the “family tomb” of Jesus of Nazareth proves that she and Jesus were married. For the Jew Jacobovici and his associates, like Tabor, the find constitutes proof that Jesus had not risen from the dead as the New Testament describes.
Jacobovici has no credentials or training in archaeology much less ancient paleography and epigraphy, yet insists that the inscription deciphered as either Mariamenou [e] Mara (“Mary, who is Martha / lord”); or (Mariame kai Mara; “Mary and Martha”) really reads, “Mary Magdalene”.
And that proves that Jesus the Christ was married to Mary Magdalene, even though there is no proof that the Talpiot Jesus (Christ or not) was married to either Mary named also of the same Talpiot tomb.
Voila! Thanks to Tabor and Jacobovici and a laundry list of their suppositions and ‘theories’, and proofs from Medieval Grail romances, pop biblical archaeology documentaries for entertainment purposes, the world now has proof that traditional Christianity has been nothing more than a historical contrivance.
Tabor may have come up with some interesting stuff, but seriously, his work is nothing but a life-long polemic against the fundamentalist Texas Baptist upbringing he was raised in, and finally rejected.
Now, all these debbil worshipphers, are they members of the Vibe?

I believe you commented to Adam Green that no where in the New Testament does Jesus say he is a “Jew”. Perhaps I misunderstood you, or “semantics” clouds my understanding.

Distinguishing between insider and outsider groups and their differing nomenclatures is essential for accurate interpretation and translation. Jesus and his earliest followers, evidence demonstrates, were called `Israelites’, `Galileans’ or `Nazoreans’ by their fellow Israelites. `Israel’, `Israelites’ were the preferred terms of self-designation among members of the house of Israel when addressing other members—not `’Ιουδαιος’, `Jew’ or `Judaism’.
Modern interpreters and translators of the Bible, it is argued, should respect and follow this insider preference. ‘Ιουδαιος , an outsider coinage, is best rendered `Judaean’, not `Jew’, to reflect the explicit or implied connection with Judaea. It was employed by Israelites when addressing outsiders as an accommodation to outsider usage.
The concepts `Jew’, `Jewish’ and `Christian’ as understood today are shaped more by fourth century rather than first-century CE realities and hence should be avoided as anachronistic designations for first-century persons or groups. Use of `Christian’ is best restricted to its three NT appearances. The use of appropriate nomenclature is crucial for minimizing historical and social inaccuracies and misunderstandings.
