Over this past weekend, I came across Trump’s “Turning point action” speech that he gave on Saturday evening.

It would begin with Napoleon, then Hitler, then the last one, they would all attack it in futile attempts to try to defeat God’s plan. All 3 would fail.
Well, guess who referenced these prior two attempts, and then went on to make his own threat, (according to him), to the leader of this current nation? In the video clip above, fast forward to the 18th minute and listen to what he states.
At the 19:07 min., TRUMP states that he gave the following threat to PUTIN when they met 5 years ago: “ If you do it, well will hit you harder that anybody has ever hit you! You got lucky with Germany, they froze, you got lucky with Napoleon, they froze, we are not going to freeze, you know missiles don’t freeze…”
Now, the following is very, very telling as to who, and currently is still truly in charge! Prior to what he states regarding the previous two attempts to take down Russia, note what he says at about the 18:50 mark: “(Biden, ndr) is soft on Russia, we wiped out all those tanks and guns…”
Now, correct me if I’m wrong, but this current war in Ukraine did not begin under his watch, at least that what the public and the world have been led to believe.
He himself states “We wiped out all those tanks and guns”, when referencing his own claim about how “He’s not soft on Russia!”
Brothers and sisters, just I’ve been stating for months, BIDEN is not the guy in charge, although the illusion is to make it appear that way to the world.
Not only this, but notice at about the 31 min., he again gives his oral rendition of “The Snake Poem”. He states that it’s in regard to the immigration problem, but this problem is a “by design” problem, throughout of the 1st world industrialized nations, in order to bring about all of the societal issues and crimes that this would bring. Remember in the movie, “The Dark Knight Rises ?”
This is exactly what was done in that movie, where prisons and asylums were all opened in order to bring about this by design chaos of society. Because when you do this, the people that will then be at the mercy of the criminals and all the crazies, will jump at the chance to push forward a strong armed, sounding leader, to eliminate their problems. But the issues and chaos have to be extreme, in order for the extreme leader to be ushered in. All by design!

Friendly Fire: Dan Goldman Demolishes the Biden Defense in Whistleblower Hearing

Below is my column in the New York Post on one of the most damaging moments in yesterday’s hearing on the IRS whistleblowers alleging special treatment for Hunter Biden in their criminal investigation.
What was most remarkable was not just the content but the cause of the incriminating statement. Rep. Dan Goldman’s friendly fire incident produced Dresden-level damage for the Biden defense.
Here is the column:
One of the most basic lessons that we teach law students is that you should “never ask a question you don’t know the answer to.”
The peril of the poorly crafted question was on display in Wednesday’s hearing with two whistleblowers on political interference in the Hunter Biden investigation.
Most Democrats avoided any questions on the substance of the allegations, focusing instead on everything from systemic racism to the use of the term “two-tiered system of justice” and, of course, Donald Trump.
Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.) often goes where wiser members fear to tread. On this occasion, Goldman may have delivered one of the most damaging moments for the Democrats.
In the course of just a few minutes, the freshman New York congressman seemed to demolish the defense of President Biden.
Goldman was trying to get the witnesses to say that there is no evidence that President Biden was personally involved in the alleged felonies of his son.
He raised the shocking WhatsApp message that Hunter had allegedly sent to a Chinese official with foreign intelligence contacts. In the message, Hunter wrote:
“I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled. Tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand, and now means tonight.
“And, Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the chairman, I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my direction. I am sitting here waiting for the call with my father.”
Most Democrats have avoided the message, which is incredibly damaging and seems to contradict the President’s long denial of any knowledge or involvement in his son’s dealings.
Goldman pressed veteran IRS investigator Gary Shapley about his suggestion that Joe Biden discussed the foreign dealing with his son. Shapley eagerly said that he would be happy to explain but Goldman cut him off and said that he did not have time for such explanations.
At this point, most lawyers would have reversed engines out of troubled waters, but Goldman plowed full speed ahead. He said that the references to Joe sitting next to his son does not mean that they actually discussed his business.
Goldman then went even further and raised a “lunch where Joe Biden came to say hello at the Four Season’s hotel to a lunch that he was having with CEFC executives.”
He then reads from the record in how Biden associate Rob Walker described the origins of the meeting with the Chinese officials to get his dad to stop by: “Hunter told his Dad that ‘I may be trying to start a company or try to do something with these guys.’ “
Goldman then pounced and said slyly “Now let me ask you something, that doesn’t sound much like Joe Biden was involved in whatever Hunter was doing with the CEFC if Hunter Biden is telling him that he is trying to do business with them, does it?”
That is when Shapley stated the obvious: “No, but it does show that he told his father that he was trying to do business and . . . ”
Goldman finally hears the train whistle and tries to get off the track: “OK, well that is true that Hunter Biden does try to do business, that is correct.”

In a bittersweet turn of events, a baby gets a second chance.
On Wednesday, a stray dog in Tripoli, Lebanon was spotted carrying an abandoned baby girl who’d been ditched inside of a garbage bag outside of a municipal building, according to reports from the National News.
God really wanted that baby to live.
Supposedly, a passerby heard cries from the black trash bag that was being carried around in the mouth of the stray dog. The passerby sprung into action and the child was rushed to the Islamic Hospital first and then later transferred to the Tripoli Government Hospital.
The child appeared to be about four months old, though some reports believe she was born more recently, even hours before disposal. Images circling on social media indicate severe bruising all over her face and body. By God’s grace, the baby’s condition was described as “serious but stable,” NY Post reported.
Numerous users on social media commented on the situation.
“Some say that the dog is an unclean animal, and of course this is not true,” one user stated after the tweet was translated from Arabic. “The dog has humanity, kindness, cunning, and intelligence much more than some satanic mutants in human forms.”

Israel extremists storm church as priest challenged over cross
An abbot was asked to remove his cross during a tour in Jerusalem, while Jewish extremists refused to leave church grounds they stormed.

Jewish extremists have continued to storm and occupy the grounds of a church property in occupied East Jerusalem, as one clergyman was harassed for wearing a crucifix.
Issa Musleh, a spokesman for the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate in Jerusalem, said in an interview with The New Arab’s sister site that the settlers continue their “provocative” presence on the church’s land, as well as foul-mouthed tirades against Christian clergy.
In one video shared on social media, one of the Jewish settlers who was asked to leave the church grounds is seen using offensive slurs.

Judeo-Christianity is not a thing.
The idea of Judeo-Christianity, and “Judeo-Christian values,” is a relatively new one, borne out of World War II and the Cold War. It is a term that has been adapted by many Christians and American political leaders in an attempt to talk about the “shared values” between the Jewish and Christian religions — but in reality, it erases Jewishness and excludes people of other faith backgrounds, particularly Muslims.
Why are we talking about it now?
On November 29, Dr. David Samadi, a contributor to the conservative Newsmax network, tweeted, “Our churches must reopen. We need to pray at this time of the year. It is the holiest time in the Judeo-Christian calendar. If we can have Walmart, Cotsco, liquor stores, strip clubs and supermarkets we can have churches.”
Quickly, many pointed out that the “Judeo-Christian calendar” is absolutely not a thing. Hanukkah, which is what we can assume he was referring to, is not the holiest time of the year for Jews — that’s reserved for a period called the “High Holidays” (also called the “High Holy Days,” the 10 days spanning Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur).
Also, Jews notably use a lunar calendar rather than the Gregorian solar one; it’s kind of our whole deal.
Soon, many began to point out not only is the term “Judeo-Christian” inaccurate, but has antisemitic roots, as well. Let’s get into it, shall we?
Where did the term Judeo-Christian come from?
Before the 20th century, there was no conception of Judeo-Christianity, especially in the United States. In the 1930s, it became a political term. We’ll get to that in a second, but first it’s important to note that the term Judæo Christian actually first referred to Jewish converts to Christianity.
It was first used in a letter from Reverend Alexander McCaul, a guy who is known for being a missionary to the Jews. (Aiming to specifically convert Jews: antisemitic!) Here’s what he writes:

“From all I can see there is but one way to bring about the object of the Society, that is by erecting a Judæo Christian community, a city of refuge, where all who wish to be baptized could be supplied with the means of earning their bread.”
Baptizing Jews, oof.
But that is not how the term is really understood today, so let’s move on…
How did Judeo-Christian emerge as a political term in the United States?
It all started in the 1930s with the rise of Hitler in Germany. As historian James Loeffler notes in The Atlantic, “A European émigré, the German liberal theologian Paul Tillich, was among the first to use the phrase, warning in 1933 that the ‘Protestant church in Germany has on the whole fallen under the spell of Hitlerism … [the] Jewish-Christian tradition [must fight] totalitarianism.’”
After the United States entered World War II in 1941, the phrase “Judeo-Christian” really took off. And Judeo-Christianity, the idea that Jewish and Christian traditions hold sacred similar values and traditions, came to define America itself and its global responsibility.
Historian Jonathan Sarna writes in American Judaism: A History that interfaith groups popularized the term to define America in “more inclusive religious terms” so as to combat antisemitism and anti-Catholicism. The term was meant to include America’s “three faiths”: Protestantism, Catholicism, and Judaism, and became a way to signal a fight against fascism.
But when the phrase really took off was after World War II, in the context of the Cold War. The Cold War, for those who are unfamiliar, was the period of tension/rivalry/sometimes actual war between the U.S. and its allies and the Soviet Union from around 1947 to 1991. The U.S. viewed it as a fight between democracy and communism.
Alright, tell me about “Judeo-Christianity” and the Cold War.
In the context of the Cold War, American leaders used the concept of a shared religious heritage to define America’s role in the world.
For President Harry Truman and other American leaders, the Cold War became a fight between freedom of faith and democracy versus “Godless” communism.
Truman, then, recognized that appealing to vague religious values would unite America against its Cold War enemies, because, as he said in his 1948 State of the Union Address, “We are a people of faith.” (Notably, when Truman talked about “faith”, it didn’t exactly include Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, Native Americans, or the many other religious/faith groups that made up — and still make up! — the United States.)
Under the presidency of Dwight D. Eisenhower, the idea of “Judeo-Christianity” became fully enmeshed in American political discourse. Judeo-Christian values, Eisenhower asserted, guided America in its mission to spread liberty, democracy, peace, and tolerance.
In Eisenhower’s own words, from 1952: “Our form of government has no sense unless it is founded in a deeply felt religious faith, and I don’t care what it is. With us of course it is the Judeo-Christian concept, but it must be a religion that all men are created equal.”
On the flip side, in a 1954 letter, Eisenhower actually cautioned his brother against the term “Judaic-Christian” heritage: “You speak of the ‘Judaic-Christian heritage.’ I would suggest that you use a term on the order of ‘religious heritage’—this is for the reason that we should find some way of including the vast numbers of people who hold to the Islamic and Buddhist religions when we compare the religious world against the Communist world.”
Yet, he did not do so publicly. American leaders — Truman, Eisenhower, and John F. Kennedy — invoked the idea of Judeo-Christianity during the early Cold War to unify Americans behind the mission of defending freedom and democracy worldwide.

How did the term evolve?
Well, it quickly began to be used by all sides of the political spectrum.
In Letter from a Birmingham Jail, Martin Luther King, Jr. wrote in 1963:
“One day the South will know that when these disinherited children of God sat down at lunch counters, they were in reality standing up for what is best in the American dream and for the most sacred values in our Judaeo Christian heritage, thereby bringing our nation back to those great wells of democracy which were dug deep by the founding fathers in their formulation of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.”
Judeo-Christianity became a shorthand to signal morality, godliness, anti-communism, democracy, and more.
Soon, Judeo-Christianity became a way of Christianity to absorb Judaism in a way, erasing the very real differences that keep the two religions separate.
As Warren Zev Harvey notes in “The Judeo-Christian Tradition’s Five Others,” “The liberal ecumenical campaign on behalf of the term ‘Judeo-Christian tradition’ was successful in the United States beyond all expectations.
“Indeed, for many Jews, it was too successful. Far too successful! The differences between Judaism and Christianity were being forgotten. Judaism was beginning to be seen as a Christian sect that had one or two idiosyncrasies — like preferring the menorah to the Christmas tree, or the matzah to the Easter egg.”
Say it with us: Not Great. Soon, the very progressives who championed the use of the term a decade earlier as a means for Jewish inclusion in mainstream American culture began to campaign against it.
Notably, Arthur Cohen’s 1969 essay, “The Myth of the Judeo-Christian Tradition,” became a key document in refuting the idea of “Judeo-Christianity.” (You can read his full essay here, in Commentary Magazine.)

Cohen writes, simply: “The Judeo-Christian tradition is a construct… What is omitted is the sinew and bone of actuality, for where Jews and Christians divide, divide irreparably, is that for Jews the Messiah is yet to come and for Christians he has already come. That is irreparable.”
But the term had already gained ground.
How is “Judeo-Christian” used in modern times?
After the al-Qaeda terrorist attack on September 11, 2001, “Judeo-Christian” became an Islamophobic dogwhistle.
Let’s run through some examples, shall we?
In 2002, the prominent evangelist Franklin Graham said, “The god of Islam is not the same god of the Christian or the Judeo-Christian faith. It is a different god, and I believe a very evil and a very wicked religion.”
This isn’t true: As one of the Abrahamic religions (which includes Islam, Judaism, and Christianity), the God of Islam, Allah, is indeed the same God that revealed himself to Abraham in the Hebrew Bible.
In 2006, Republican representative Virgil Goode wrote an op-ed in USA Today titled “Save Judeo-Christian values,” decrying Muslim Rep.-elect Keith Ellison’s decision “to use the Quran in connection with his congressional swearing-in.”
He writes, “I believe that if we do not stop illegal immigration totally, reduce legal immigration and end diversity visas, we are leaving ourselves vulnerable to infiltration by those who want to mold the United States into the image of their religion, rather than working within the Judeo-Christian principles that have made us a beacon for freedom-loving persons around the world.”

The term is not exclusive to the U.S., nor solely used in an anti-Muslim backlash to 9/11; right-wing British politician Nigel Farage, for example, said in 2015 following the Charlie Hebdo attacks in Paris, “We’re going to have to be a lot braver and a lot more courageous in standing up for our Judeo-Christian culture.”
What about the Trump administration and “Judeo-Christianity”?
“We are stopping cold the attacks on Judeo-Christian values,” President Trump said in October 2017. “We’re saying ‘Merry Christmas’ again.” I don’t have to point out the irony here that Christmas is not a Jewish holiday, do I?
Trump’s chief strategist, Steve Bannon, “has for some time been an evangelist for ‘the Judeo-Christian West,’” an article in the National Catholic Reporter notes. Bannon, remember, co-founded the far-right news platform Breitbart.
As Bannon told the Economist in 2017, “I want the world to look back in 100 years and say, their mercantilist, Confucian system lost. The Judeo-Christian liberal West won.”
As Beth Daley wrote in the Conversation at the time of Trump’s 2017 speech, Trump’s “‘Judeo-Christian values’ are about protecting Christmas, and about protecting Christians – at the exclusion of others… It seems, then, that the idea of Judeo-Christian values excludes both Jews and Muslims.
“The phrase tacitly excludes Jews by subsuming Judaism into Christianity, and it explicitly excludes Muslims in its use in anti-immigration rhetoric.”

Still, I grew up in a jew heavy community – over 5%, maybe 10%. (Manchester, CT in the 60’s). Lots of my classmates were jewish and I have good memories of those times. And there is only one instance in my life where a (known) jew tried to jew me. But there have been many instances where non-jews have been a-holes around me.
So, I don’t get enthusiastic about us either. Mostly idiots, frankly.
The problem in my view is the synagogue of satan. Few jews escape it and they who do are scorched to some degree.

I would have to agree that a great many gentiles are nut cases, too, and many are as worthless and every bit as evil as jews.
My personal experience with jews has been having them bribe civil servants to try to keep me from getting into business. I have had them try to get me jailed on trumped up charges. I have had them try to kill me. They are not my cup of tea.
My experience has been somewhat the same as that of Mel Gibson. I have gotten into jewish controlled situations where something was off, and I thought this can’t be true only to find out later that it was true.
I have met some good jews from Zimbabwe, I suppose because they were hard working rural farmers and culturally more Rhodesian than jewish.
I guess the thing that I most dislike about jews is their treachery, and in particular their obsession with centralizing power to enslave others either through violence as in Palestine, through communism as in the old Soviet Union, or though banking and media control as in America.
They can’t seem to help themselves. Slavery comes naturally to jewish culture. They were the driving force behind slavery in America.
Jewish culture is entirely about centralizing power to control others one way or the other.

The “synagogue of satan” is an ambiguous term. Meaning what exactly?
The best I can come up with is it signifies a pagan occultism. The occultic rites, numerology, necromancy etc, that has always appealed to a segment of the jews – and which finally gained suzerainty over them, and has held them in thralldom, for the past two millenia.

Hendrix’s song, The Wind Cries Mary, is beautiful, poetic, and evocative of many spiritual things and higher meanings, but its origin is far more prosaic.
Hendrix wrote the song as a reconciliatory love song for his girlfriend at the time in London, Kathy Mary Etchingham, after a very serious, heated kitchen argument after he criticized how she cooked potatoes, and it wound up with her breaking dishes and going out the door. He used her middle name for the song.
The song was Hendrix’s way of apologizing (who never apologized for anything), after realizing how much he loved her and the pain of losing her would be. As he was sweeping up the broken dishes, he realized it was mostly his fault for starting the fight. He wrote the poem the same night he heard her walking out the door and down the street while wrestling with the emotional aftermath.
Hendrix did have Irish ancestry, I believe on his paternal side a few generations back, but he wasn’t raised in any particular religion.
That’s probably why he was such a good lyricist, he inherited genes of an Irish poet.

President Vladimir Putin on Monday signed a controversial law that bans legal and surgical sex changes, a move that deprives transgender Russians of the right to access gender-affirming services.
The law, which makes “medical interventions aimed at changing the sex of a person” and “the state registration of a change of gender without an operation” illegal, was swiftly passed by both houses of the Russian parliament earlier this month.
The law also bans individuals who have undergone gender reassignment from adopting children and annuls marriages in which one of the partners is transgender.
It enters into force immediately upon its publishing on the government website.

Leaving the European Union may soon become “a real alternative” for Hungary, the former governor of the Hungarian National Bank claimed in a television interview on Sunday.
Speaking on Hungary’s ATV network, Andras Simor said that while a Brexit-style departure from the bloc is an unlikely scenario, “it is a possible one.”
“It’s probability,” he explained. “If it was 10% last year, by now it has risen to 20%, to 30%.”
Citing the country’s rising inflation rate and the EU’s withholding of $30 billion in funding to Budapest, Simor stated that he is “afraid that Hungary’s government will maneuver the country into a situation where an exit from the European Union becomes a real alternative.”
Although Hungary is a net beneficiary of EU aid, much of this assistance has remained frozen for several years, with officials in Brussels citing Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s hardline anti-immigration policies and alleged crackdown on judicial independence and media freedoms as reasons for the holdup.
While Orban’s government successfully gained access to some of this money by lifting a veto on EU economic aid for Ukraine last year, the Hungarian PM has continued his criticism of the bloc’s support for Kiev.
Orban has repeatedly called for an immediate ceasefire in Ukraine, and accused “pro-war Brussels bureaucrats” of stoking conflict with Russia “at the expense of European interests.”
Orban’s disagreements with the EU go beyond the realm of geopolitics. Speaking at a youth event in Romania on Saturday, he declared that the bloc “rejects Christian heritage, carries out the replacement of its population via migration… and conducts an LGBTQ offensive” against conservative societies.
Despite his regular broadsides against Brussels, Orban has repeatedly dismissed the idea of leaving the EU. Polls taken since the 2016 Brexit referendum have consistently found high public support for staying in the bloc, although a recent Eurobarometer survey recorded a 12-point drop in those with a “positive image” of the EU, with only 39% now viewing the union favorably.

The thing Prime Minister Orbán did not say, but easily could have, is that the West is quite decadent, and in civilizational decline by almost any measure.
Not that you asked, but Viktor Orbán is the most intelligent major politician I’ve ever seen, and it’s not even close.
You might think: Well, of course Dreher would say that; he lives in Hungary and works for a think tank that is indirectly funded by the Hungarian government. Nope, that’s not it.
I chose to move to Hungary to work in part because I regard Orbán and his kind of conservatism as the only real political shot we on the Right have to save Western civilization. He’s the only Western politician at his level who thinks like a visionary.
Very few people in the United States or Western Europe know this, because the media trashes him incessantly, and he has little way to make his voice heard in languages other than Hungarian. (He speaks much better English than he thinks he does, but is not comfortable in the language.)
When you meet the Hungarian prime minister face to face, and hear him discourse at length on geopolitics (in English), you realize that you are not dealing with an ordinary politician.
The first time I met him was four years ago, when I came to Budapest to talk at a conference on religious liberty. All the speakers were invited afterward to meet the prime minister at his office. I thought it was going to be a short meet-and-greet, take an official photo, then say goodbye.
Nope. He spent an hour and a half with us, taking our questions, and answering them all with remarkable candor and intelligence. I could scarcely believe that this was the authoritarian ogre that the U.S. media assured me had Hungary under his jackboot.
After returning to Hungary for a four-month fellowship in the spring of 2021, I learned a lot more about Orbán and his political vision. I’ve told every conservative journalist and academic I know to find a way to get to Hungary and see for themselves what’s happening here.
The future of conservatism in the West does not lie with the exhausted Tories or the dull conventionalists of the GOP in America, or the establishment parties of continental Europe. It’s being worked out in Budapest, under Orbán’s leadership.
Indeed, I’ve been present two or three times in the past couple of years when Western journalists and intellectuals have been brought in to meet with the prime minister.
I have watched the scales fall off their eyes as they see that whatever else he is, Viktor Orbán is not in any sense what their media and academics back home have said. Like him or not, he possesses a formidable intellect, strong analytical skills, and the courage to go against the consensus.
Naturally, the liberal and conservative establishments hate him. One thing they despise about the man is that he tells inconvenient truths. He was right about the 2015 migration crisis, and continues to be correct about the No. 1 issue facing Europe. He’s right too about the Russia-Ukraine war, which is a grinding disaster for Europe and the NATO alliance. Reflecting on how Orbán understands the world better than any other Western leader is fairly depressing in light of his speech last weekend at Tusványos, the annual gathering of students and the Fidesz faithful in Transylvania. Orbán began by mentioning that the Romanian government had given him a diplomatic document telling him what he should not talk about. He cheekily revealed its contents. Excerpt:

I understand from criticism of the movie that it doesn’t mention word one about or show the appalling large scale death of the Hiroshima & Nagasaki Japanese victims after the nuclear bombings, and the life-long suffering of the survivors from burns, radiation poisoning, and the mental trauma post-war.
Also probably not mentioned is that both cities were considered all through the war as “open cities” with civilian inhabitants and infrastructure, a large number of refugees from the months of Allied fire bombing of the Japanese cities, and not military targets. Both cities had no aerial defenses for that reason.
More, Nagasaki, and Hiroshima had a majority Japanese Christian and Catholic population, as I recall. They were the only two major Japanese Christian cities. Oppenheimer, the Communist Jew, and Truman’s administration murdered Christianity in Japan, something that centuries of persecution couldn’t do.
I don’t intend to see it. But from what I’ve read, it’s just all designed to make Oppenheimer some kind of Jewish martyr with a typically complicated neurotic proud/sorrowful heroic Jew story, especially in absence of any specific acknowledgement of the Japanese sufferers of Oppenheimer’s “accomplishment”.

Regarding Oppenheimer, let me just say this.
Robert Oppenheimer, Albert Einstein, Leo Szilard and Edward Teller, all of them studied and were able to do research in Germany. The Germans treated them more than generously.
What was the gratitude of these Jews towards the country that enabled them to become relevant scientists? They asked the President of the US, even before the war, to develop nuclear weapons with the explicit intent of using them against Germany.
They were all disappointed when Germany surrendered before their bombs were ready. In 1941 Oppenheimer and Teller explored the possibility of using a radiological (“dirty”) bomb on Germany, loaded with strontium 90. Against civilians obviously!

Steven Spielberg said “that with Jurassic [Park] I was really just trying to make a good sequel to Jaws. On land”. I have argued how, on these pages, his earlier shark film can be read as Jewish. Like the shark lurking beneath the waters of his earlier film, Jewishness prowls the undergrowth of his dinosaur movie which celebrates its 30th anniversary this month.
Spielberg was editing Jurassic Park while filming Schindler’s List which also celebrates its 30th anniversary later this year. It was inevitable that the two films would bleed into one another. He shot brutal blood-soaked footage of the Holocaust during the day and edited brutal blood-soaked footage of dinosaurs by night.
This produced uncanny plot similarities between the two films summed up by one critic: “A wealthy and eccentric businessman who decides to risk everything to save those who are utterly different from him trapped behind electrified barbed wire and threatened with complete annihilation, filmed with beautiful cinematography and a soaring emotional score by the composer John Williams”.
You may think this plot description refers to Steven Spielberg’s Schindler’s List but it’s just as apt for Jurassic Park.
The dinosaur park, then, echoes the centuries of Jewish artistic and historical objects, which were preserved by Nazi Germany, to create a so-called ‘Museum of an Extinct Race’. The dinosaurs are ghettoised and the dominant colours of red and yellow used to brand the park are those that have historically been used to mark out Jews from the blood libel through to the yellow star.
The idea of Jews as predators in pursuit of innocent Christians is not a new one. Jews are also seen to embody fossils of a bygone age.
Popular culture has also connected Jewishness with dinosaurs. Consider the lead singer of the British Glam rock band T-Rex — the Jewish Marc Bolan. The toy dinosaur Rex in the Toy Story franchise is voiced by the Jewish actor Wallace Shawn.
Underpinning the narrative of the film is an opposition between Jewish and non-Jewish values represented by two rival groups of characters. Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler and Ian Malcolm stand opposed to John Hammond, Donald Gennaro, and Dennis Nedry.
As played by Jeff Goldblum, Malcolm is an eccentric, hipster, intellectual, scientist and nervous talker. Malcolm raises a crucial ethical question. “Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should.” He thus embodies a tradition of intellectual inquiry, respect for learning, and intense involvement with morality and law.
But Malcolm is more than a mensch, he is macho, too. The image of him lying back with his black shirt unbuttoned to expose his lightly furred musculature turned him into a sexualised and hot Jew. He gets to be the movie’s conscience and libido.
If Malcolm stands for a macho mensch, then Hammond is, initially, the embodiment of its opposite. One might even play on the implicit treif-ness of the name of the film’s villain — Hammond as in Ham(mond) — suggesting that this film is Jurassic Pork.
Hammond is treif because he puts commerce before human life, endangering not only his workers and guests but also his grandchildren. It is telling that the gift shop is completed before the security systems. Intentionally, or otherwise, he invokes Hannah Arendt’s famous notion of the “banality of evil”.
Computer programmer Dennis Nedry, even more than Hammond, is motivated by money down to the molecular level. As played by Wayne Knight, he is instantly recognisable to viewers of the sitcom Seinfeld as Jerry’s arch-nemesis Newman.
Donald Gennaro is just as bad. “The only one I’ve got on my side is the bloodsucking lawyer,” Hammond laments, using a long-established historic trope for Jewishness if ever there was one. Luckily, though, the lawyer has a Celtic given name and an Italian family name.
Spielberg’s choices reinforce the message of the film that ‘greed isn’t good’. Here, Spielberg comes down on the side of the mensches — all of whom survive — versus those on the other side, two of whom die. Hammond is allowed to live because, like Oskar Schindler, he undergoes a moral re-evaluation. Is Hammond also a stand-in for Spielberg’s father, Arnold, a pioneering computer researcher?
Jurassic Park taps into the Hebrew tradition of the golem, an artificial homunculus created by magic that, over time, has become a metaphor for something impossible to fully control and hence a danger to its creator. While the specificities of the settings and characters may differ, the story shares various points of similarity with Jurassic Park.
Hammond creates life from dead matter, only to lose control of his creation. It is not just the dinosaurs that are the problem but also the technology used to clone, birth, navigate and hold them, as nothing functions properly.
Spielberg encapsulates this when Nedry tapes J. Robert Oppenheimer’s portrait on his computer screen, showing an awareness of what he has unleashed.
Oppenheimer, subject of Christopher Nolan’s blockbuster biopic which opened last week, was, of course, the wartime head of the Los Alamos Laboratory, credited with being the ‘father of the atomic bomb’ for his role in developing the first nuclear weapons.
As shown in Oppenheimer, on viewing the Trinity test, where the first atomic bomb was successfully detonated on July 16, 1945, he recalled words from the Bhagavad Gita: “Now I become Death, the destroyer of worlds.”

Jesus Christ (Issa the Son of Mary) is mentioned 25 times in the Qur’an with great veneration, including being the only prophet that the Qur’an also names as the Messiah and “the Spirit of God” while Mohammed is mentioned but four times. The Qur’an also emphatically affirms the virgin conception and birth of Jesus.
And Mary, the Mother of Issa, has long been an exemplar for virtuous Islamic womanhood.
Some schools of Islam, particular Shia, consider Jesus the Messiah who will come back at the end of the world to fight the the last of the dajjals, Al-Masih ad-Dajjal, “the Deceitful Messiah” or the Anti-Christ, an evil being who will seek to imitate Christ.
On the other hand, the Talmud and other related Rabbinic literature smears him as an “Egyptian magician,” bastard son of a Roman soldier and smears the Virgin Mary as a whore, boasts of how Jews condemned Him to death as a blasphemer and took responsibility for executing him by stoning [so avoiding the Gospel witness of their proxy execution at the hand of the Romans], and gloats that Jesus is now burning in hell in a lake of excrement.
Jews, especially in Israel where they can get away with it, routinely spit on and assault Christian clergy and faithful, vandalize and arson churches and monasteries.
The Criminal Jewish State constantly looks for ways to seize church and monastery properties and Christian holy sites, as well as personal property of Christians, and routinely deny the rights of Palestinian Christians and other Eastern Christian faithful to make pilgrimages to our own holy sites in Jerusalem and Palestine, such as the Temple of Bethlehem and the Temple of the Holy Sepulchre.

The FBI has released documents confirming that the Biden administration was targeting pro-life Catholics.
For months, pro-life advocates, Republicans and Catholic Church leaders have condemned Joe Biden and his administration about a memo targeting pro-life Catholics.
As LifeNews.com has reported, the FBI Richmond bureau issued a memo on “radical-traditional Catholic ideology” that cited the leftist Southern Poverty Law Center.
The FBI memo urged agents to probe the supposed nexus between “racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists” and “radical-traditional Catholics,” citing the SPLC and including a list of SPLC-designated “hate groups” for agents to target.
The federal agency quickly retracted the memo after massive criticism, but pro-life groups and pro-life elected officials want an investigation and accountability.
Part of that accountability came in the form of a request for more documents and the FBI handed over more paper this week about the controversial memo.
The new documents were only made available to the House Judiciary Committee. The FBI has requested that the committee not disseminate the documents without consulting it first.
The document release comes after Ohio Republican Rep. Jim Jordan, the chairman of the committee, threatened to hold FBI director Christopher Wray in contempt over the bureau’s delay in responding to two subpoenas investigating alleged First Amendment violations from the bureau.
In response to CNA’s inquiry for comment on the documents, a House Judiciary Committee spokesperson said: “We’re reviewing the documents and everything remains on the table.”
Republicans are upset that the documents they have been getting from the FBI are excluding too much information that could be used to investigate the memo and its origins.

Missouri Republican Attorney General Andrew Bailey and 19 other attorneys general have now issued a letter of condemnation.
“As Attorney General, I will protect the Constitution, which includes the basic right to religious liberty enshrined in the First Amendment,” said Attorney General Bailey. “We already knew that President Biden was launching an attack on the First Amendment rights of Americans, as evidenced by our landmark free speech case Missouri v. Biden, but now it’s clear that he’ll weaponize unelected federal bureaucrats to go after any American who doesn’t worship the ‘right way.’ The First Amendment includes both the right to free speech and religious liberty for a reason, and my office will use any tool necessary to defend the rights of all Missourians to worship as they please.”
The memorandum distinguishes between what the FBI deems acceptable and unacceptable Catholic beliefs and practices. The memorandum suggests that there are “radical traditionalists” who could be “racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists.”

Bailey and the other attorneys general assert that the FBI memorandum “even appears to accuse the Supreme Court and the Governor of Virginia of ‘[c]atalyzing’ the bad Catholics through ‘legislation or judicial decisions in areas such as abortion rights, immigration, affirmative action, and LGBTQ protections,’ singling out the Supreme Court’s recent decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization and Governor Youngkin’s support for sensible abortion regulations as examples.”
In the letter, General Bailey and the other states demand that the FBI and DOJ “desist from investigating and surveilling Americans who have done nothing more than exercise their natural and constitutional right to practice their religion in a manner of their choosing” and asked that the FBI “reveal to the American public the extent to which they have engaged in such activities.”
“We are the chief legal officers of our respective States charged not only with enforcing the law but also with securing the civil rights of our citizens,” the attorneys general continues. “The FBI must immediately and unequivocally order agency personnel not to target Americans based on their religious beliefs and practices.”
The attorneys general request a full explanation of the document’s origins, documents related to its implementation, information regarding how this document has already affected Virginia’s Catholic population, and information on whether the FBI has begun infiltrating houses of worship in conflict with the FBI’s internal guidelines.
Joining Bailey were AGs from Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Montana, Nebraska, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Piteşti Prison of communist Romania was home to unspeakable horrors, where thousands suffered for their faith in Christ and political dissension.
Now the penitentiary complex has been officially designated as an historical monument. The relevant order was signed by Romanian Minister of Culture Raluca Turcan on Wednesday, reports the Basilica News Agency.
“The prison in Piteşti is a painful memory, but also a testimony of the strength of the human spirit to resist and resist oppression. The closing of the Piteşti Penitentiary is a particularly important moment in trying to raise awareness and recover the recent history of Romania,” Turcan said.
The prison in Pitesti, in its current form, was built between 1937-1941 and functioned as a penitentiary until 1977. It is especially known for the reeducation experiment conducted between December 1949 and September 1951 designed to violently “reeducate” the prisoners, including destroying their faith in Christ, altering their personalities to the point of absolute obedience.
French historian François Furet, considered Piteşti “one of the most terrible dehumanization experiences our age has ever known.” Alexander Solzhenitsyn, having himself suffered in the Russian gulag system, described the Romanian prison as “the most terrible act of barbarism in the contemporary world.”
Among those who suffered in Piteşti were Fr. Roman Braga, Fr. Gheorge Calciu, both of whom ended their days in America, and Valerian Gafencu.
Recognizing the prison as an historical monument makes it a symbol of anti-communism, the Minister of Culture added:
“The story of the Piteşti Prison and the Piteşti experiment helps to honor the victims and the courage of those who fought against the injustices of the communist regime.
“Also, the recognition of the prison as a historical monument reconfirms its position as a symbol of the fight against communist oppression in Romania and a symbol of the protection of democratic values.”
A museum opened at Piteşti in 2014, with weekly services held in the attached chapel, where the martyrs of the prison are commemorated.
In March 2021, construction began on a new church at the prison.

“Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) held a high-level meeting this afternoon, attended by political, military, and security officials from both sides. The discussion touched on ways to develop the resistance activity that the two movements adopt and lead and to strengthen cooperation between them on the political, military, and security levels.”
This is how the two Gaza-based factions opened their joint statement following the ‘Unity of Arenas’ battle on 22 August 2022 in the Gaza Strip.
Since then, the two leading Palestinian resistance factions have gained significant ground in the West Bank, driving out invading Israeli forces and retaliating against attacks with shocking speed under a strategy known as ‘Pay the Price.’
The genesis of this successful alliance can be traced back to the 7 August, 2022 Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip. With the objective of singling out the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) and launching a devastating military strike against the resistance group, Israeli forces sought to break the ‘Unity of Arenas’ equation that had united Palestinian forces in multiple territories since May 2021.
Tel Aviv’s ultimate goal was to impose Judaization and settlements in occupied Jerusalem and the West Bank while undermining the credibility and capabilities of the resistance in Gaza.
Hamas and PIJ, shoulder to shoulder
In the face of this aggression, the PIJ’s Quds Brigade stood resolute, with crucial logistical support provided by Hamas. Though not directly involved in the military confrontation, behind the scenes, Hamas’ solidarity and cooperation with PIJ leaders demonstrated a united front against the occupation.
Throughout the confrontation, the two movements thwarted Israeli attempts to exploit and sow discord between them by emphasizing brotherhood and unity.
Now the strength of that collaboration has extended beyond the Gaza Strip, reaching deep into the occupied West Bank, where their efforts appear to be closely intertwined.
This year, those efforts have reaped rewards: PIJ has led several direct military actions against Israeli forces and took “care” of the Jenin Battalion and other armed groups that have begun to expand across the West Bank.
During this time, Hamas pursued a dual-track approach: Conducting security operations to hold the Israelis accountable for their offenses in the occupied West Bank, and providing financial support to resistance groups for the procurement of weapons.
