Zelensky Prepares for WEF and BlackRock Private-Public Takeover of Ukraine

They are also planning to make Ukraine their ‘beta testing ground’ for Klaus Schwab’s Fourth Industrial Revolution and Smart City digital control grid.
Unbeknownst the most Ukrainians, the former comedian turned president is scheduled to hold talks with BlackRock Investments to negotiate the private-public partnership takeover the country’s postwar ‘reconstruction’.
But this is only the beginning. As trillionaire sponsors of the WEF and private owners of the large swaths of western wealth, BlackRock, are planning to ‘buy-up’ Ukraine, piece by piece, and integrate it into western fold, and allow the US and NATO to use it as a beach head to antagonize Russia and maintain a geopolitical strategy of tension.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said his government is preparing to participate in the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos in January and that he spoke again with BlackRock Inc CEO Larry Fink about the postwar rebuilding effort.
“Specialists of this company are already helping Ukraine to structure the fund for the reconstruction of our state,” Zelensky, who had a video call with Fink in September, said in his evening address to the nation. He didn’t say whether he would attend the January 16-20 WEF in person or participate virtually.
Zelensky also said that he spoke to Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and raised the prospect of Italy contributing to the strengthening of Ukraine’s air defences.
Russian forces continued offensive operations around Bakhmut and Avdiyivka in the eastern Donetsk region, while trying to improve their tactical position on the Lyman axis to the north, Ukraine’s General Staff said on Facebook.
According to the statement, Russian troops carried out a missile strike and launched 33 barrages with multiple-rocket systems over the past day, including targeting civilian facilities in the southern city of Kherson. The General Staff did not mention any Russian air strikes in its morning update for the second day in a row, suggesting a drop in Russian air force activity after this week’s drone attack on a base in southern Russia.
The head of the German lower house of parliament’s intelligence oversight committee said the recent unmasking of an alleged Russian spy at the country’s foreign intelligence service suggests authorities have only been “half switched on” to the threat of infiltration by the Kremlin in recent years.
“What everyone needs to take on board is that there are still intense intelligence activities going on like during the Cold War, and at a time when Russia is conducting an illegal war against Ukraine we have to keep a very sharp eye on this,” Konstantin von Notz, a Bundestag lawmaker for the ruling Greens party, said in an interview with Deutschlandfunk radio.
“I would be very pleased if this unfortunate case would prompt us to take a critical look so that we are in better shape for the future.”
Meanwhile, Kyiv’s electricity supply is limited but stable and is being evenly distributed through temporary grid reconnection measures, Serhiy Kovalenko, the head of power company Yasno, said on Facebook.
It’s “difficult to predict” how reliably the equipment will cope with lower temperatures and higher consumption, he added, also pointing to the threat of Russian missile and drone attacks. Emergency cutoffs will continue in the Ukrainian capital through the winter, the deputy head of Kyiv’s city administration, Petro Panteleev, said earlier on television.
The Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights has recorded 17,831 civilian casualties in Ukraine between the end of February when Russia launched its full-scale invasion and December 26, including 6,884 killed and 10,947 injured.
“Most of the civilian casualties recorded were caused by the use of explosive weapons with wide area effects, including shelling from heavy artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, missiles and air strikes,” the OHCHR said in a statement. The actual figures are likely considerably higher, as information from some locations where hostilities are especially intense has been delayed and many reports are still awaiting corroboration, it said.
About 700 critical infrastructure facilities in Ukraine, including gas pipelines, power substations and bridges, have been damaged since Russia invaded, according to Yevhen Yenin, a deputy interior minister.
In total, more than 35,000 facilities across the country have been destroyed as a result of Russian attacks, Yenin said on television late Tuesday.

Since criticism of Zelensky is currently allowed on Elon Musk’s Twitter, the WEF has canceled Twitter in its “How to follow Davos 2023” social media pamphlet.
In canceling Twitter from its 2023 gathering of globalists, the WEF is recommending Chinese state-controlled social media apps to “follow along” with the festivities.
“To stay up to speed with all that is happening within the invite-only doors of the ruling class confab, the WEF recommends following along through a handful of social media sites. They include the U.S.-based narrative-compliant Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube, along with the Chinese social media apps TikTok WeChat, and Weibo. Twitter, which has freed itself from the grasp of the WEF-endorsed censorship-compliant social apps, is no longer included,” Jordan Schachtel noted in a substack.com report.
Several WEF partners, including BlackRock, have joined the attacks against Twitter, boycotting the platform in protest of Musk’s pledge to turn it into a free speech zone.

Former BlackRock investment executive Brian Deese leads Joe Biden’s National Economic Council, effectively serving as his top advisor on economic matters.
Team Biden has pledged over $100 billion to Zelensky and said it will keep the funding spigot turned on “as long as it takes” to win the war against Russia.
“We are preparing to partake in the World Economic Forum in Davos. The posture and prospects of Ukraine will be presented there,” Zelensky said on Wednesday.
The 2023 edition of the WEF will be held Jan. 16-20.
In a video conference meeting with Fink, Zelensky said; “Specialists of this company are already helping Ukraine to structure the fund for the reconstruction of our state.”
BlackRock is the world’s largest money manager, with assets of $8 trillion, while the WEF plays a central role in global economic planning and development.
“Both are highly controversial, however, particularly because they push environmental, social, and governance practices, known as ESG. The WEF has drawn criticism for articles and tweets in which it seems to advocate the widespread abolition of property and privacy,” the Washington Examiner’s Brady Knox noted.
In his Dec. 26 The Dossier report, Schachtel noted he had obtained an early, partial list of both events and confirmed speakers for Davos 2023. On the agenda are event titles such as Why We Need Battery Passports, Leading The Charge Through Earth’s New Normal, A Living Wage For All, Enabling An Equitable Transition, and Beyond The Rainbow: Advancing LGBTQ+ Rights, among others.
“It should come as no surprise that the ruling class’s favorite narrative and ideas shop for technocratic tyranny has come after Twitter, given that the latter app is now serving as the one major global social media platform for open debate and dialogue,” Schachtel wrote.

I scrolled through the site somewhat quickly just to double-check, and I could not find in these lists that Jesus ever said in His ministry that the Jews were the chosen people. But my 71-year-old eyes are a little quirky, so you should double-check these lists for me.

When reporting or lamenting over the gross human rights violations and genocide by the modern state of Israel against the Palestinian people, many Christians immediately freak the heck out.
In fact, I am often told that I am “not a Christian” because I dare criticize the state of Israel’s behavior, as if blind support of a modern nation state were an obligation of being a True Christian™. [Editor’s note: a growing number of evangelicals are departing from this view.]
Upon being stripped of my membership card in Christianity, many of these “internet Bible scholars” quickly remind me: God commands us to stand with Israel!
But is that even true? I mean, for those of us who grow up in EvangelFundamentalism we’re taught that from day one– but just because our childhood pastor taught us this, and just because Grandma believed it, doesn’t make it true.
I’ve long written on this topic both on a theological and geopolitical standpoint but wanted to quickly and concisely lay out a few points in response to the whole, “you’re not a true Christian if you don’t stand with Israel” nonsense.
As your Bible Explainer in Chief, let me quickly break it down for you– because no, the Bible doesn’t command we stand with Israel.

Christ pronounced judgment on, and permanent desolation of, the Temple of Jerusalem, destruction of the city, and condemnation and expulsion of the Ioudaion from the land under the curses (punishment) clauses of the Law of Moses in Deuteronomy 28 for their rank disobedience to ‘the prophet like Moses’, apostasy, and crimes, especially their crime of regicide (INBI – Iesous o Nazoraios o Basileus ton Ioudaion – Jesus of Nazareth the King of the Ioudaion).

For this, to get out from under the Law, the Jews would have to repent and go directly to their God and King, the author of that Law, to ask for pardon for their national crime against God, King, Mankind, and Land.
Relatively few Jews do individually and wholeheartedly come to Christ in every generation and make their home in the New Israel of God (the Ekklesia), like our dear Brother Nathanael.
God chose the nation of Israel to be the people through whom Jesus Christ would be born—the Savior from sin and death (John 3:16).
God first promised the Messiah after Adam and Eve’s fall into sin (Genesis chapter 3). God later confirmed that the Messiah would come from the line of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Genesis 12:1-3). Jesus Christ is the ultimate reason why God chose Israel to be His special people. God did not need to have a chosen people, but He decided to do it that way. Jesus had to come from some nation of people, and God chose Israel.
However, God’s reason for choosing the nation of Israel was not solely for the purpose of producing the Messiah. God’s desire for Israel was that they would go and teach others about Him.
Old Israel was to eventually become a nation of priests, prophets, and missionaries to the 70 Nations. God’s intent was for Israel to be a distinct people, a nation who pointed others towards God and His promised provision of a Redeemer, Messiah, and Savior under the rule of that Messiah-King.
Israel failed in this task, starting with their crucifixion of the Anointed One, then their failure to repent of this crime, and so His mission was then given to “another people” — the Ekklesia-New Israel — which is founded on the circumcised remnant faithful of Israel (and some uncircumcised Hellenisti), particularly the Apostles, and initially those of the uncircumcised faithful of the Nations, starting with the Hellenes, Romans, and peoples of the Roman world.
When God made His promises to Abraham, it was when Abraham was still an uncircumcised Hebrew and a Gentile, by the way.
Even though Jesus is eternal life, Jesus Himself was elected by God. Jesus was chosen. A wide range of texts throughout the New Testament identifies Jesus as God’s Chosen or Appointed One. Jesus is the premier Elect One (Isa 42:1). Even when He hung dying on the cross, He was recognized by His enemies as being the chosen one of God (Luke 23:35).
Just as God’s election of the nation of Israel was an election to service, purpose, and vocation, so also, God’s election of Jesus was to service, purpose, and vocation.
Jesus was to be Israel’s righteous remnant, a light to the Nations, and God’s Suffering Servant (Isa 49:6-7; cf. Matt 12:18) with the vocation as Lord and Savior of reconciling Man with God.
God chooses the faithful, not unrepentant Jews.
In Christ, we are the Chosen.

I appreciate your response. I guess that there are two ideas of what chosen means. The one of which you are describing as being the chosen people from which Our Lord would come. The other being the faulty idea that they were chosen above all others to have everything and to rule over the rest of us with an iron fist.
His rule is comparable to the washing of the feet of his Apostles which the Jews would decry.

Ukraine exacts revenge on Israel at UN – Axios
The media outlet claims Kiev refused to oppose a pro-Palestinian resolution after Israel declined to provide weapons to the country

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has made his country’s support for Israel at the UN contingent on the nation providing Kiev with air defense systems, the news website Axios has claimed.
After not receiving any firm commitments from newly reinstated Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Ukrainian representatives allegedly opted not to oppose a recent anti-Israel resolution.
In its report on Saturday, Axios cited unnamed Ukrainian and Israeli officials as saying the two leaders held a phone conversation on Friday.
Netanyahu supposedly asked Zelensky to vote against, or at least abstain from voting on a UN General Assembly resolution that called on the International Court of Justice to issue a legal opinion on Israel’s occupation of the Palestinian territories.
That conversation was reportedly preceded by Kiev’s refusal to oppose the document during a UN committee vote several weeks ago, according to Axios.
The article claimed that during the phone call, Zelensky made it clear that Ukraine could change its position if Netanyahu pledged military assistance to Kiev amid its conflict with Russia.
While Netanyahu allegedly said he was ready to discuss “Zelensky’s requests in the future,” the Israeli prime minister stopped short of making any firm commitment, Axios reported.
According to the outlet, the Ukrainian head of state was not satisfied with that response and instructed his UN envoy not to attend the vote at all. A Ukrainian official claimed the decision was made “in order to give a chance to the relationship with Netanyahu,” the US news outlet claimed.
Netanyahu’s office confirmed to Axios that the phone call took place but refused to provide details regarding its contents.
The UN resolution was adopted on Friday with the support of 87 countries. A total of 26 nations voted against, and 53 abstained.
In early November, then Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz explained that the country could not supply its Iron Dome air defense system to Ukraine as it did not “have a large enough production base” to satisfy an export market as well as its own needs.
Kiev has repeatedly requested military aid from Israel, with special emphasis on air defense. Ukrainian officials say the weapons would be a great help in the country’s efforts to counter what it believes to be Iranian drones deployed by Moscow.
Both Russia and Iran, for their part, deny such UAVs are being used by Moscow’s troops.

Medvedev’s End-Of-The-Year Review Put Russia’s New Grand Strategy Into Context

Russia’s grand strategy has evolved to the point of confidently pursuing its objective national interests without hesitation, unlike in years past when it still had hope of reaching a compromise with the West.
Former Russian President and incumbent Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev published a detailed end-of-the-year review at Rossiyskaya Gazeta on Sunday.
He divided his opinion piece into six outcomes, which collectively put his country’s new grand strategy into context. All of this was preceded by his statement of intent with respect to informing fellow decisionmakers and average members of society alike about where Russia is headed in the coming future.
The first outcome concerned the commencement of his country’s special operation, which he described as driven by the need to react to Western-backed existential threats emanating from Ukraine.
As could have been expected, he brought up this conflict’s relevance to World War II by lamenting that the West failed to learn its lessons from that time and is nowadays weaponizing fascism against Russia. Medvedev ended this part of his article on an optimistic note by pledging that all of Moscow’s goals will be met.
The second outcome that he touched upon was that Russia no longer has any illusions about the US-led West’s Golden Billion. The former Russian leader also expressed deep disappointment with Angela Merkel’s admission that Minsk was just a ruse to buy time for arming Kiev ahead of its planned final offensive against Donbass.
That greatly contributed to Medvedev’s conclusion that pragmatic relations with this de facto New Cold War bloc are impossible until new leaders come to power there.
The third outcome of the past year was the global proliferation of Russophobia, which he described as motivated by the Golden Billion’s self-interested desire to distract from their own failures.
Medvedev drew historical parallels between the past and present to argue that this has actually been a constant in Russia’s relations with the West. According to him, his country’s counterparts have always tried to cancel it since they won’t ever respect it as an equal nor accept its existence as a competitor.
The fourth outcome contained in his article was extensively detailed and involved Medvedev’s observation that the global systemic transition is irreversibly moving in the direction of multipolarity.
To summarize his thoughts, he expects continued global uncertainty as the Golden Billion aggressively attempts to reverse this process in a desperate attempt to cling to its fading unipolar hegemony, yet the former Russian leader is confident that the Global South will succeed in reforming the world order.
Building upon the above, Medvedev’s fifth outcome concerns the literally apocalyptic risks connected with NATO’s proxy war on Russia through Ukraine if the conflict spirals out of control.
He reminded everyone that Russia’s nuclear deterrence capabilities are the only thing standing in the way of World War III right now. Medvedev then wrapped this section up by writing that his country’s security interests must be guaranteed in order for humanity to move back from the brink of the unthinkable.
And finally, the last outcome of the past year that he felt it important to highlight was that Russia hasn’t just survived, but continues thriving and moving towards victory.
He praised his people for their patriotism and lauded the economy’s resilience in the face of the West’s unprecedented sanctions.
Medvedev promised that the state will protect all its citizens without exception, especially those in the newly reunified regions, and expressed confidence that Russia will emerge even stronger next year.
These six outcomes collectively suggest that Russia’s grand strategy has evolved to the point of confidently pursuing its objective national interests without hesitation, unlike in years past when it still had hope of reaching a compromise with the West.
No such agreement is possible anymore, which is why Russia commenced its special operation and subsequently catalyzed the latest phase of the global systemic transition that put International Relations on the irreversible path of multipolarity.

Ukraine Arms Trafficking: The Waltz of Bloody Clowns

Ukraine has a long and sordid history in the illegal arms trade, and the recent proxy war between NATO and Russia has turned what used to be an obscured black market into a major international weapons enterprise – financed and supplied with western public money.
Arms trafficking by Ukrainian gangs has made it possible to diversify stocks placed on the market at unbeatable prices in the countries of the European Union.
The road to Hell is paved with good intentions. Through an unprecedented outpouring of solidarity (especially with regard to the management of the health crisis), Europe has sent massive arms to Ukraine. Weapons that will undoubtedly end up killing Pierre, Jacques, Anne, even you or me.
This is the boomerang effect already seen through the ridiculous imposition of “sanctions trains”: before releasing 100 million euros to equip the Ukrainian armed forces, it is hard to believe that French President Emmanuel Macron did not understand the risk that its weapons will be used to equip entities that do not care about France’s interests in protecting its own population. Since last March, the NATO and G7 countries have been massively feeding President Zelensky and his clique with weapons of all kinds. (2)
The hunger of Kiev’s bloody clown is never satisfied, however.
In doing so, many of these weapons also end up in the hands of various terrorist groups around the world, including in Africa, fueling political instability there. (3)
The director of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Samantha Power, indicated that Ukraine spends “the staggering amount of six billion dollars each month” on the war, this sum being provided to Zelensky by his Western ‘partners.’ (4)
These are hundreds of thousands of pistols, assault rifles, submachine guns and grenades, and hundreds of millions of cartridges of various calibers exported to Ukraine over the past eight months. Even NATO-supported Kosovo Albanians have not benefited from such largess.
Based on multiple western mainstream media reports, it can be argued that all deliveries to Ukraine are controlled by arms barons, be they Ukrainian criminal syndicates linked to Kiev oligarchs and politicians, as well as international crime.
This is in no way Russian contraband. The operation is completely under Ukrainian control. Although the Finnish authorities have already raised this threat, Helsinki has been asked not to make waves. (5)
These “warlords” are building fortunes by reselling the various systems on the black market. The latter is fed thanks to the diversion of all the models of portable arms which happen to be registered on the so-called lists of “solidarity supplies” for the Ukrainian army. In some cases, darknet traders boast that the weapons were “tested in the war against Russia”.
By taking a closer look at this most lucrative market, we learn, for example, that packs of 5.45 mm NATO caliber cartridges (1,080 cartridges) are selling like hotcakes at 120 dollars apiece. The prices are convertible in all currencies.
An old Kalashnikov (AK-74, AKMS) assault rifle with a barrel that fired 10,000 rounds costs barely $300. The Makarov pistol (9 mm, Soviet standard) is estimated at $400. A model F.1 grenade (prized during the Soviet era and similar to the French Alsetex LU 213) is resold for $100.
Ukrainian Kalashnikovs are sold and bought by mafia networks at prices lower than those parlayed during the conflict in Serbia. At the time, all the mafias in Europe were supplied with assault rifles through Albania.
Today, it is not only AK-74s that can be bought from Ukraine. The list has been expanded and completed to the delight of buyers.
Manual bazookas are on sale starting at $500 a piece. The black-market price of the SPG-9 grenade launcher is set at roughly 3,000 USD. A sniper rifle with NATO unification optics is available for 1,200 USD.
The price of a Javelin ATGM anti-tank guided missile (stolen or sold at the point of delivery from the United States to the Ukrainian army) is 30,000 USD.
Among the latest Ukrainian offerings is the remotely piloted Turkish Bayraktar TB2 with 4 suspended guided munitions.
Prominent Ukrainian blogger Shariy investigated Ukraine’s massive purchase of these combat drones and concluded that it was a corruption scheme involving the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense. (6)
In view of the profits at stake, we should not expect Europol, which from The Hague has been fighting against the arms market in the European Union, to launch an investigation.
By way of illustration, our readers will note with interest the screenshots (see photos under the article) of the correspondence exchanged between the participants in one online transaction among many others.

Buyer Mikhail acknowledges that the product is of good quality. He offers Dmitri (presumably a Ukrainian army officer) to buy the pilot block and the missile block from him for $20,000.
Dmitri demands 25,000: “Moldovans demand more” (the arms smuggling corridor from Ukraine to the EU market passes through Moldova and Romania). The parties agree to use crypto money “as usual”.
The risks and threats linked to mafia wars, religious extremism and psychopaths have not disappeared from Europe after Macron and Ursula von der Leyen showed their solidarity with Zelensky.
Tens of thousands of automatic weapons, hand grenades and bazookas, tons of Semtex and TNT, were shipped to Europe through the same Albanian arms trafficking channels, via Romania. Interpol and Europol turn a blind eye.
We will all be sad and heartbroken to learn that a Ukrainian Fort 301 sniper rifle bullet shattered the fragile little hope of a president working for peace on the steps of the Élysée Palace. But beware of the boomerang effect.

Poland is creating the most powerful Army in Europe at the prodding of the Biden Administration. It will now surpass even Germany as well as Turkey.
They are building a major force with the potential to invade Russia on a conventional level. They call this the “Plan for the Defence of the Fatherland.” They have been instructed by the Biden Administration to increase their army from 110,000 soldiers to 250,000 professional soldiers.
Jaroslaw Kaczynski, leader of Poland’s ruling PiS party, and Defence Minister Mariusz Blaszczak made the announcement. Kaczynski justified this “radical strengthening of the armed forces” with a worsened security situation as a result of Russia’s “imperial ambitions” and the “hybrid attacks” by Belarus.
War is made by leaders, not the common people of any country. Putin has NEVER displayed any “imperial ambitions” and those days are long gone. Nobody wants to occupy Europe any more than they want to occupy the United States.
This is all needed because the monetary system is collapsing and we have reached the end of the road of fiscal mismanagement of borrowing every year, running deficits under socialism to bribe voters. Politicians no longer even know how to run for office without such promises. But they are reaching the capacity to sell their debt.
As interest rates rise, nobody wants long-term debt. The only way to escape this debt crisis is to create war. That will be the excuse to default on all the debt and start all over again, hopefully with a reduced population. So the Polish are to be the next culture to be sacrificed at the altar of sovereign debt.

Over Christmas I had a short talk with a relative about the war in Ukraine. He asked me who would win and was astonished when I said: “Ukraine has zero chance to win.” That person reads some German mainstream news sites and watches the public TV networks. With those sources of ‘information’ he was made to believe that Ukraine was winning the war.
One may excuse that with him never having been in a military and not being politically engaged. But still there are some basic numbers that let one conclude from the beginning that Russia, the much bigger, richer and more industrialized country, had clearly all advantages. My relative obviously never had had that thought.
The ‘western’ propaganda is still quite strong. However, as I pointed out in March last year propaganda does not change a war and lies do not win it. Its believability is shrinking.
Former Lt.Col. Alex Vershinin, who in June pointed out that industrial warfare is back and the ‘West’ was not ready to wage it, has a new recommendable piece out which analyses the tactics on both sides, looks ahead and concludes that Russia will almost certainly win the war:
Wars of attrition are won through careful husbandry of one’s own resources while destroying the enemy’s. Russia entered the war with vast materiel superiority and a greater industrial base to sustain and replace losses. They have carefully preserved their resources, withdrawing every time the tactical situation turned against them.
Ukraine started the war with a smaller resource pool and relied on the Western coalition to sustain its war effort. This dependency pressured Ukraine into a series of tactically successful offensives, which consumed strategic resources that Ukraine will struggle to replace in full, in my view.
The real question isn’t whether Ukraine can regain all its territory, but whether it can inflict sufficient losses on Russian mobilized reservists to undermine Russia’s domestic unity, forcing it to the negotiation table on Ukrainian terms, or will Russian’ attrition strategy work to annex an even larger portion of Ukraine.
Russian domestic unity has only grown over the war. As Gilbert Doctorow points out wars make nations. The war does not only unite certain nationalistic parts of Ukraine who still dream of retaking Crimea. It also unites all of Russia. Unlike Ukraine Russia will be strengthened by it.
Casualties are expected in wars and the Russians, with their steady remembrance of the second world war as their Great Patriotic War, know this well. Screw ups also happen and at times some bad leadership decisions puts people into the wrong place where the enemy can and will kill them.
That is what happened in Makeyevka (Donetsk) on New Years day 2 minutes after midnight. Some 100 Russian reservists died. The Russian leadership pointed out that they were killed by U.S. HIMARS missiles.
The former Indian diplomat M. K. Bhadrakumar judges that this was a U.S. escalation which will likely receive a response:
“The intelligence inputs in real time show direct American participation in the horrific operation targeting the Russian conscripts’ New Year party just when the toasts began.
Of course, whipping up public sentiments in Russia against Putin is a core American objective in the war.
We are entering a grey zone. Expect “surgical strikes” by the Russian forces, too. After all, at some point soon enough, it will emerge that what’s sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.”
Some retaliation has already happened. Yesterday the Russian Defense Ministry reported that over 130 foreign mercenaries were killed in attacks on their bases near Maslyakovka and Kramatorsk. Yves Smith of Naked Capitalism points out that Vershinin has left out the economic side of the war where the picture is as bad for Ukraine as it is on the ground:
“Ukraine is dependent on the West to fund its government, giving new meaning to the expression “client state”. Ukraine’s GDP contraction is estimated to be on the order of 35-40% for 2022. Ukraine in November projected its 2023 budget deficit to be $38 billion.
“Mind you, that is for essential services and is likely to underestimate the cost and knock-on effects of dealing with Russia’s attacks on its electrical grid. Again, before the grid strikes, the IMF had estimated Ukraine’s budget needs at $3 to $4 billion a month. It’s an easy bet that that $38 billion funding gap will easily come in at more than $50 billion.
“And paying for teachers’ salaries, pensions, road repair, hospitals, are not the sort of thing that enriches the military-industrial complex. This is a huge amount for the West. Euronews, in discussing the then estimated $38 billion hole, strongly hinted Ukraine would come up short:” …

‘This will set a precedent in international law,’ Foreign Minister Urmas Reinsalu says
Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Reinsalu said in an interview on Wednesday that his country is developing a legal basis to transfer to Ukraine Russian assets frozen under the EU sanctions over Moscow’s invasion of the neighboring state.
A draft proposal will be presented to the Estonian government next month, according to the minister. If approved, Estonia will become the first country to transfer the sanctioned assets, following months of Kyiv’s calls for its allies to use the frozen funds to rebuild Ukraine.
“This will set a precedent in international law. The same applies to the creation of an extraordinary tribunal to hold the Russian Federation accountable for crimes of aggression. This is certainly a step that will significantly weaken Russia, deter the aggressor, and therefore there is a political justification for it,” Reinsalu said.

He added that both money and physical assets, including real estate, should be considered under the legislation. According to local media, over 90 percent of the frozen assets in Estonia, estimated at tens of millions of dollars, belong to two Russian oligarchs – Andrei Melnichenko and Vyacheslav Kantor.
“The fact that assets may be held in other items, whether immovable or movable, should not in itself prevent this scheme from being implemented,” said Reinsalu, adding that the European Commission is also working to find a “pan-European solution.”
While it is challenging under the EU legislation to seize and transfer assets from a foreign state, Russia’s violation of the international law in Ukraine could provide the necessary justification for the move. The general principle of the international law implies that the aggressor that caused the damage has to pay reparations.
“I think that, on the basis of this principle, it is legally possible and politically imperative to do so,” noted Reinsalu.
Since the beginning of the war, the European Union has frozen Kremlin’s assets worth over $18 billion, with additional $318 billion in the Russian central bank’s foreign exchange reserves. Kyiv estimates the damages caused by Moscow’s invasion at $370 billion.

Biden admin quietly admits canceling Keystone XL Pipeline cost thousands of jobs, billions of dollars

The Biden administration published a congressionally-mandated report highlighting the positive economic benefits the Keystone XL Pipeline would have had if President Biden didn’t revoke its federal permits.
The report, which the Department of Energy (DOE) completed in late December without any public announcement, says the Keystone XL project would have created up to 59,000 jobs and would have had a positive economic impact of up to $9.6 billion.
Immediately after taking office in January 2021, Biden canceled the pipeline’s permits, effectively shutting the project down.
“The Biden administration finally owned up to what we have known all along — killing the Keystone XL Pipeline cost good-paying jobs, hurt Montana’s economy and was the first step in the Biden administration’s war on oil and gas production in the United States,” Sen. Steve Daines. R-Mont., said in a statement Thursday. “Unfortunately, the administration continues to pursue energy production anywhere but the United States.”
“These policies may appeal to the woke left but hurt Montana’s working families,” he continued. “I’ll keep fighting back against Biden’s anti-energy agenda and supporting Montana energy projects and jobs.”
The DOE was forced to issue the report after Daines and Sen. Jim Risch, R-Idaho, successfully inserted a bill mandating the report into the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act Biden signed into law in November 2021. The agency was required to publish the report within 90 days of the bill’s passage but ultimately waited more than a year before releasing it.

The war in Ukraine is not going to end in a negotiated settlement. The Russians have already made it clear that they don’t trust the United States, so they’re not going to waste their time in a pointless gabfest.
What the Russians are going to do is pursue the only option that is available to them: They are going to obliterate the Ukrainian Army, reduce a large part of the country to rubble, and force the political leadership to comply with their security demands. It’s a bloody and wasteful course of action, but there’s really no other option. Putin is not going to allow NATO to place its hostile army and missile sites on Russia’s border.
He’s going to defend his country as best as he can by proactively eliminating emerging threats in Ukraine. This is why Putin has called up an additional 300,000 reservists to serve in Ukraine; because the Russians are committed to defeating the Ukrainian army and bringing the war to a swift end. This is an excellent summary of the events leading up to the present day although we should spend a bit more time on Angela Merkel’s comments. What Merkel actually said in her interview with Die Zeit was the following:
“The 2014 Minsk Agreement was an attempt to buy time for Ukraine. Ukraine used this time to become stronger, as you can see today.” According to the ex-Chancellor, “it was clear for everyone” that the conflict was suspended and the problem was not resolved, “but it was exactly what gave Ukraine the priceless time.” (Tass News Agency)
Merkel has been sharply criticized for admitting that she and the other western leaders deliberately deceived Russia about their true intentions vis a vis Minsk. The fact is, they had no intention of pressuring Ukraine to comply with the terms of the treaty and they knew it from the very beginning. What we know for a fact is that neither Merkel nor her allies were ever interested in peace.
Second, we now know that they maintained the fraud for 7 years before she spilled the beans and admitted what they were really up-to. And finally, we now know from Merkel’s comments that Washington’s strategic objective was the opposite of the Minsk agreement. The real goal was to create a heavily-militarized Ukraine that would prosecute Washington’s proxy-war on Russia. That was the primary objective, war on Russia.
So, why would Putin even consider negotiating with people like that; people who just lied-to-his-face for 7 years while they flooded the country with weapons that would be used to kill Russian servicemen?
And what was the objective that compelled Merkel and her Washington colleagues to lie?
They wanted a war, which is the same reason why Boris Johnson put the kibosh on an agreement that Zelensky had negotiated with Moscow in March. Johnson sabotaged the deal because Washington wanted a war. It’s that simple.
But there is a price to pay for lying, and that price comes in the form of distrust, which is the pernicious erosion of confidence that makes it impossible to resolve issues of mutual concern. Russia’s deputy chair of the national Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, expressed his views on the matter just this week in the bitterest terms. He said:
The behavior of Washington and others this year “is the last warning to all nations: there can be no business with the Anglo-Saxon world [because] it is a thief, a swindler, a card-sharp that could do anything…. Of course, the Washington warhawks will not be bothered by the prospect of severed relations with Russia, in fact they probably welcome it. But the same cannot be said for Europe.

In religious terms, Ukraine is largely an Eastern Orthodox nation, just like Russia. Close to 70% of the population currently identifies as Orthodox Christian.
For over a thousand years a common Orthodox Christian religion and Church united the peoples of what are today the separate states of Ukraine, Russia, and Belarus in faith and culture. Since the 14th century the nominal ecclesiastic Patriarch of that common Orthodox faith was located in Moscow. For most of that time the peoples were united politically as well.
But as that political unity was dissolved with the Soviet Union in 1991, schisms started to creep into the common faith as well. But the divisions were not canonical or doctrinal – just church politics and competing conceptions of Ukrainian national identity. These divisions however only reached a crescendo and crisis point following the openly US-backed Maidan Putsch in Ukraine in 2014.
The ruling elites of the collective West have long regarded the Orthodox faith and particularly the Russian Orthodox Church as a threat to their domination of eastern Europe all the way back from schism in the 11th century to today.
And endless sea of Western “expert” articles and media reports rant on about the threat of the Church and how the Russian government “weaponizes” it as instrument of soft power, much as Hollywood serves as a weaponized instrument of US soft power.
However there has always been a general understanding that due to the basic right to “freedom of religion” that this soft power is not something that should be politically challenged or restricted.
I mean how often do you hear in the media about the state of Israel weaponizing the “Jewish faith” or Saudi Arabia weaponizing Sunni Islam?
But whether it is “freedom of the press,” “freedom of speech,” or “Freedom of religion” is there any single thing that has made the West cast off the thin veneer of their supposed values and show their true authoritarian colors like Russia?
A decision was made following the US-backed Maidan Putsch in 2014 that in order to permanently geopolitically divide Ukraine from Russia that the cultural and religious bonds uniting the two peoples must be severed as well.
The creation of a new “Orthodox Church of Ukraine” (OCU) with a new Patriarch in Kiev was pushed by the Kiev Putsch regime and manufactured into being in 2018.

The Kiev Patriarch Filaret even gave CIA ops chief, Jack Devine, an award for his support in the creation of the new ecclesiastically- independent Ukrainian Orthodox church. Incidentally he gave an award to US neocon John McCain as well. That should tell you everything you need to know.
Since seizing power 2014 and accelerating dramatically in the last year, the US-backed Putsch regime in Kiev has been carrying out a very real pogrom against the Orthodox churches and parishioners across Ukraine who do not accept the rule and strictures of its newly manufactured Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU), this after the older and still largest Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) officially suspended its nominal ecclesiastical ties with the Orthodox Patriarch in Moscow after the start of the Russian intervention in the Ukrainian civil conflict in February 2014. They even made very public statements against the Russian intervention, including a procession by its priests against the Russian and Donbass siege of the NeoNazi Azov-held Azovstal Steel Plant in Mariupol.

The desire to combat corruption in our country is certainly commendable, but there is a suspicion that the Kiev Patriarchate does so solely for gaining publicity, in order to win the sympathy of the citizens of Ukraine. UOC spokesman: Temples seized by OCU are empty, the same awaits Upper Lavra

Archpriest Mykola Danylevych expressed confidence that the OCU can seize UOC temples but people haven’t gone and will not go there.
On January 5, 2023, the UOC spokesperson, Archpriest Mykola Danylevych, commenting on the absence of parishioners in the OCU temples, said that the same will happen to the Dormition and Refectory churches of the Upper Lavra. He wrote about this on his Telegram channel.
Father Mykola quoted a priest from the Chernihiv region, Oleh Huha, who said that the OCU took away 17 churches in their region, and now they stand empty: “No services, no supervision, zero…”
“I think the same will happen to the Upper Lavra: they will gather people for the first service, a hype, an info wave, and then the same will happen as at St. Sofia’s and St. Theodosius’s, where there is no full house,” the UOC spokesman expressed confidence.
At the same time, he stressed that this will not make the schismatics return the temples to the canonical Church.
As reported, Dumenko will “serve” at the Lavra’s Dormition Cathedral on Christmas Day.

UNDERSTANDING RUSSIA
The present situation in the world generally, and in greater Europe is confusing to many post-Christian modern people in the western nations, plagued as they are with the vaguest recollections of Christianity, or immersed in the modern pseudo-Christian “churches,“ they imagine they know what the Christian religion really is.
In the Old Testament, we read of God instructing the Israelites (the People of God) to enter the land of Canaan and kill all the inhabitants and take the land. (Joshua 7 ) This was done as recorded in Deuteronomy, in order that the Israelites not be contaminated with the Canaanite’s toxic culture/religion.
Who gave these orders to the Israelites? The LORD did. Throughout the Old Testament, who is the LORD that speaks? It is the Logos of God. Who is the Logos? As the first verses of the New Testament Gospel of Saint John tell us very clearly, the Logos is Jesus Christ who existed before all time.
So here is Christ ordering the Israelites to kill all the Canaanites, men, women and children – all that breathes. Why would he do that? The Canaanites had a long history and in some ways were innovative and creative, but along the way, they morally degenerated to an horrific extent. Their religion included sacrificing babies and children to their god by throwing them alive into a fire. Sodom and Gomorrah were in Canaan.
Their religion and their culture had got to the stage where they had to be stopped and stopped quickly, otherwise their ways could spread beyond their borders.
Leviticus 20:2–5 “Moreover, thou shalt say to the children of Israel: Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death; the people of the land shall stone him with stones.
“I also will set My face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people, because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile My sanctuary, and to profane My holy name. And if the people of the land do at all hide their eyes from that man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and put him not to death; then I will set My face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go astray after him, to go astray after Molech, from among their people.”
The LORD obviously felt strongly about the Canaanite god and culture.
So it seems that the People of God are required to defend themselves against such total moral degeneracy, by very strong means.
In today’s world, who are the People of God? They are the Believers who are gathered out from general society into The Church. There is and can only be one Church of God – the one that existed from the beginning and exists today. Others have broken away from it over the centuries, but it remains today hundreds of millions strong, it is known as the Orthodox Church.
While Orthodox Christians today are spread all over the globe, where is that Church strongest? Russia, Serbia, Georgia, Romania, Bulgaria and the minor Slavic nations as well as Greece. Which country is foremost among these? Russia is, it is the largest and has the majority of Orthodox Believers.
The origins of the Russian Orthodox Church date to 988. That’s when Vladimir I, the ruler of Kievan Rus’ with its capital of Kiev, which included current-day Ukraine and Russia, the ancient Russian state, converted to Orthodox Christianity and his country with him. The Orthodox Church was the single Church in the world – the Church that Christ the Anointed founded with His Apostles.
What is Russia’s place in the world – from a Church point of view?

He will be a great reformer, and he will be strong in the Orthodox faith. He will cast down the unfaithful hierarchs of the Church.
He himself will be an outstanding personality, with a pure and holy soul. He will possess a strong will. He will be of the Romanov Dynasty, through the maternal line. He will be God’s Chosen One, obedient to the Lord in all things. He will transform Siberia. But this Russia will exist only for a very short time. Soon thereafter will come to pass that of which the Apostle John speaks in his “Apocalypse.”
Russia has a strong leader, right now. He is not an anointed, crowned Czar, but to all intents and purposes, he has the Czar’s power:
Vladimir Vladimirovitch Putin.
So let us look a little at his record.

Putin surprised Steve Forbes with the 13% flat income tax rate. This means Russian citizens who make £5 million a year pay 13% in income tax and it means those who earn £24,000 a year pay 13% income tax.
Putin promotes a pro-family Russian agenda. In other words, ethnic Russian citizens who marry and have children, get loans to purchase homes/appliances, tax credits, and money.
Putin helped rebuild 30,000 Russian Orthodox Churches destroyed by Globalist-funded Bolshevik Communists in 1917-1970.
Putin had Christ the Saviour cathedral rebuilt.
Putin addressed the illegal human/child sex trafficking of Russian women to foreign nations. Transnational criminal gangs lured 500,000 Russian women into the sex trade across the world in the 1990s.
Putin put a stop to illegal immigration to Russia.
He protects Russian jobs.
Putin put a stop to President Obama’s drive to overthrow President Assad of Syria. Christians worldwide came to Syria to fight with the Syrian Christian, Assyrian Christian, and Kurdish militias. Christian Russia stopped this illegal war started by Obama/Clinton’s State Department from 2011-2016.
In other words, Putin’s Russia is not Globalist.
Now let us look at Vladimir Vladimirovitch personally. Putin was born on the 7th of October 1952 in St Petersburg and was secretly Baptised at the request of his mother. Putin’s mother was a factory worker and his father was a conscript in the Soviet Navy, serving in the submarine fleet in the early 1930s.
Early in World War II, his father served in the destruction battalion of the NKVD. Later, he was transferred to the regular army and was severely wounded in 1942. Putin’s maternal grandmother was killed by the German occupiers of Tver region in 1941, and his maternal uncles disappeared on the Eastern Front during World War II.
He studied law at the Leningrad State University (now Saint Petersburg State University) in 1970 and graduated in 1975. His thesis was on “The Most Favoured Nation Trading Principle in International Law”. While there, he was REQUIRED by the university authorities to join the Communist Party.
In 1997, he received his Ph.D. in Economics at the Saint Petersburg Mining University for a thesis on the strategic planning of the mineral economy.
He had joined the KGB and, after training, he worked in the Second Chief Directorate (counter-intelligence), before he was transferred to the First Chief Directorate, where he monitored foreigners and consular officials in Leningrad. In East Germany his work was as a translator in coordination with the German State police.
He returned to Leningrad in early 1990 where he worked with the International Affairs section of Leningrad State University, reporting to Vice-Rector Yuriy Molchanov, while working on his doctoral dissertation. There, he renewed his friendship with his former professor, Anatoly Sobchak, soon to be the Mayor of Leningrad.
Putin resigned from the KGB reserves with the rank of lieutenant colonel on 20 August 1991, on the second day of the 1991 coup d’état attempt against the Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev. Putin said: “As soon as the coup began, I immediately decided which side I was on”.
In 1999, Putin described communism as “a blind alley, far away from the mainstream of civilisation”.
For many years Putin has had a close relationship with Archimandrite Tikhon, the Father Superior of Sretensky monastery. Fr. Tikhon, with a reputation as a spiritual healer, served as confessor to Putin.
Fr. Tikhon has reported in the past that Putin prays daily in a small chapel next to the presidential office. Putin’s mother and ex–wife were both certainly religious. As an overall picture, we can at the very least see that Putin is a man with a committed personal faith.
Vladimir Putin’s close associate and present Prime Minister, Dmitry Medvedev is also an Orthodox Believer, having converted during the communist period, when it was dangerous to do so.
To understand Vladimir Vladimirovitch, it is necessary to understand the great Byzantine Empire, for that is Putin’s model. The Byzantine Empire worked on the “symphonia” of Church and State, where both worked in harmony.
If you want to understand Putin, study the Byzantine Emperor Basil II. Despite near-constant warfare, Basil distinguished himself as an administrator, reducing the power of the great land-owning families who dominated the Empire’s administration and military, filling its treasury, and leaving it with its greatest expanse of land and treasure in four centuries.
The Christian Byzantine Empire was not afraid to go to war to preserve its Christian heritage and its territory, it maintained a powerful army – as indeed, have other Christian empires, not least the British Empire.
The Church, for Putin, has a significant and powerful value in forging a strong Russian state. Under Putin, the Church and nationalism are increasingly closely united. The Church serves a powerful role in supporting Putin’s true political ideology – his identity as an advocate of a strong Christian state.
The “Russian Idea” as described by Putin in his ‘Millennium Message’, delivered in 1999 and still seen as the core of his political model, includes patriotism, collectivism, solidarity and destiny to be a great power. Religion, even were Putin not religious himself, has a very clear and obvious instrumental value in meeting those goals.
This instrumental use of the Church has been seen on a number of occasions both internally and, increasingly, externally. Internally, Putin has done much to encourage and support the growth of the Church. Under Putin’s watch, icons and church bells that were sold or smuggled out of Russia under Communism have been restored, churches have been built or rebuilt (and particularly the vast Cathedral of Christ the Saviour in Moscow) with oligarchs and local businesses strongly encouraged to fund the work.
It can also be seen in education, where Orthodox culture is now part of the school curriculum and even, increasingly, in direct control of popular media.
A quotation from the Patriarch Kirill of Moscow:
“The Patriarch is the custodian of the internal unity of the Church and, together with his brothers in the episcopate, guardian of the purity of the faith… The Patriarch is the defender of the canonical borders of the church. This ministry takes on special significance in that situation that arose after the formation of independent states on the territory of ‘historic Russia’.
“While respecting their sovereignty and caring for their well–being, the Patriarch is called, at the same time, to be concerned with the maintaining and strengthening of spiritual ties between people living in these countries for the sake of preserving the system of values which the one Orthodox civilisation of Holy Russia reveals to the world.”
Certainly, this sense of the “canonical borders” that exceed the current Federation borders has been employed rhetorically on several occasions – particularly in relation to Russian operations in Ukraine and the annexation of Crimea.
Explicit note was made of the special status of Crimea in the history of Russian Orthodoxy – as the site where the Grand Prince Vladimir adopted Orthodoxy and was baptised. Putin noted, “his spiritual feat of adopting Orthodoxy predetermined the overall basis of the culture, civilisation and human values that unite the peoples of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus”.
This narrative of unifying the Russian peoples defined by language and religion has been a growing trend in which the Moscow Patriarch and President mutually reinforce one another. The Church has become mobilised as part of the defence of this policy and the State more broadly – creating a concept of ‘Spiritual Security’.
Overall, the Orthodox Church and Putin have a very Byzantine symbiotic relationship. Putin has allowed the Church to return to prominence and supported it in a way unheard of since the Revolution. The Church has, in turn, provided some of the intellectual and cultural backing for Putin’s vision for Russia and the wider Russian sphere of influence.
All of this sets the stage for the current situation in the eastern reaches of Europe.
Russia – its government, people and Church see the terrible culture that has developed in the west since the Second World War, and they are afraid that it will engulf them like a flood of sewage.
Defenders of traditional Christian values against the excesses of an immoral and decadent West symbolised by gay pride parades, same-sex marriage and feminism, abortion, drugs and political corruption, they together, are determined to stop it at their gates.
They saw, in recent years, this toxic culture creeping into the Ukraine and gradually rising until the Maidan revolution made it official. This was greatly offensive to a large majority of Russians, and certainly to Vladimir Putin, it was dangerous to Russia.
“There is an organic wholeness between the relation of the Russian and Ukrainian people, and if Ukrainians see it differently, it is only because they have been led astray and corrupted by the West”.
When the Ukrainian secular government, led by two non-Christian men who were the employees of oligarchs, unable to persuade Ukrainian men to join the army, resorted to the neo-nazi private armies and set them to attack Donetsk-Luhansk, the die was cast.
From the Russian point of view, Russia is not attacking a sovereign nation-state; it’s restoring the natural relationship between two of the peoples of historic Russia.
“What they are after is salvation,” Smolkin said. “Not just of the Ukrainians, but of themselves. They see it as their mission to establish unity.”
Elder Jonah of Odessa, died in 2012. Before he died he made a prophecy that a smaller neighbour of Russia would, after two years, have a revolution and a civil war and that this would escalate and Russia would have to intervene.
Exactly as he predicted, in 2014 the Maidan revolution began in the Ukraine and this descended into civil war as Donetsk and Luhansk sought to exit the Ukraine. When the Ukraine responded by sending in the private army battalions of the oligarchs to destroy Donetsk-Luhansk, Russia was forced to act by sending in the totally unsuitable nearest Russian forces and thus the war began. Germany negotiated a peace deal, but the Ukrainian President refused it.
Saint Lawrence of Chernigov (who died in 1975) said of the Ukraine:
“When a little freedom appears, when the churches and monasteries are being opened and restored, then all false teaching will come out, and the demons and secret atheists (Catholics, Uniates, Ukrainian self-ordained, and others) and will fiercely take up arms against the Orthodox Russian Church, its unity and its conciliar nature.
“A godless authority will support these heretics, and therefore they will take churches away from the Orthodox and slaughter the faithful.
“Then the Metropolitan of Kiev (not worthy of the name) together with his like-minded hierarchs and priests will strongly shake the Russian Church. The whole world will be amazed at his lawlessness and will be frightened. He himself will go off into eternal perdition, like Judas.
“But all these slanders of the evil one and false teachings will disappear in Russia, and there will be One Orthodox Russian Church.”
Saint Theodosius of Chernigov said: “As it is impossible to divide the Most Holy Trinity, Father and Son and Holy Spirit, for it is One God, so also it is impossible to divide Russia, the Ukraine and Belorussia, for these together are Holy Rus’. Know, remember, and do not forget.”
“There was never any Patriarch in the city of Kiev—the Patriarchs were in Moscow and lived in Moscow. Beware of Ukrainian samosviatsky groups (churches) and the Unia.”
“A demon will enter them and they will take up arms with satanic malice against the Orthodox Faith and Church, but they will have a disgraceful end, while their followers will suffer heavenly retribution from the Lord, King of the Heavenly Hosts.” Now a Ukrainian self-ordained hierarch has appeared, calling himself the head of a “Kiev Patriarchate”.
Other Elders have predicted that the Ukraine war will trigger further wars, ultimately starting the Third World War in the Middle East. Elder Paisios of Mount Athos prophesied that this war will see the end of Turkey as a nation.
In recent (2017) statements, the Patriarch of Moscow said… “the world is on the brink of slipping into ‘the abyss of the end of history’” (Newsweek, November 21, 2017). He continued by warning his congregants that the coming end of the age – the apocalypse – is currently “visible to the naked eye.” “The Antichrist is in sight”.
Elder Ilya of Mount Athos said “The antichrist is now in sight.”
Vladimir Putin is not a despotic monster, another Hitler as the woke, pseudo-Christians and Main Stream Media of the west insist. He is a hard line committed Christian leader of the old school. The Christian Byzantine Emperors would have understood him well, the Christian Czars would have understood him well, The Holy Roman Emperors would have understood him well, British politicians and kings of the seventeenth, eighteenth, nineteenth and early twentieth centuries would have understood him well.

As a large number of Orthodox Christians reside in the area of hostilities, we call on the Ukrainian side to declare a ceasefire to allow them to attend church services on Christmas Eve as well as on Christmas Day.

Two organizations, both of which are as notable for their concealment as for their power, are the New York Kehillah and the American Jewish Committee.

The American Jewish Committee came into being in 1906.
The delegates at the first open meeting in 1906 represented 222 Jewish societies-religious, political, industrial and communal. Just over a year later the number of Jewish organizations under the jurisdiction of the Kehillah aggregated 688, and in 1921 well over 1,080.
The aggressive program of the Kehillah to make New York a Jewish city, and through New York to make the United States a Jewish country, was announced.
They did not expect that the American people would stand for it.

The program of the Kehillah was ostensibly to “assert Jewish rights,” to swindle , steal and grab power. No Jewish rights have ever been interfered with in America.

The American Jewish Committee (AJC) is a Jewish advocacy group established in 1906 It is one of the oldest Jewish advocacy organizations and, according to The New York Times, is “widely regarded as the dean of American Jewish organizations”. Besides working in favor of civil liberties for evil Jews, the organization has a history of fighting against all forms of discrimination in the United States and working on behalf of social equality.
The organization has 22 regional offices in the United States, 10 overseas offices, and 33 international partnerships with Jewish communal institutions around the world.
In its early years the organization was led by lawyer Jew Louis Marshall, banker Jew Jacob H. Schiff, Jew Judge Mayer Sulzberger, scholar Jew Cyrus Adler, and other well-to-do and politically connected Jews.
Later leaders were Jew Judge Joseph M. Proskauer, Jew Jacob Blaustein, and Jew Irving M. Engel.
Starting in 1912, Jew Louis B. Marshall was president of the organization until 1929.
The United States is divided into 12 parts by the American Jewish Committee and every State belongs to a district headed by the most powerful and representative Jews. The Committee represents the focusing point of the religious, racial, financial and political will of Jewry.
It is also the executive committee of the New York Kehillah. New York Jewry is the dynamo of the national Jewish machinery. Its national instrument is the American Jewish Committee.
Among its direct leaders and supporters today are the owners of powerful newspapers, officials in Federal, State and City administration, influential office holders on public boards and corporations, members of the judiciary and police departments, financiers and heads of banking houses, mercantile and manufacturing establishments, labor leaders and political party organizers of all colors.
THE KEHILLAH AND THE AMERICAN JEWISH COMMITTEE ARE ONE.
Previous to the formation of the Kehillah and the Jewish Committee, this sort of attack on the rights of Americans was sporadic, but since 1906 it increased in number and insistence. Under cover of the ideal of Liberty, Americas have given the immigrant Jews liberty to attack Liberty. What America has been tolerating is intolerance itself.
The New York Kehillah is an illustration of how it is done, and the American Jewish Committee is an illustration of the type of men who do it.The work of the Kehillah is claimed to be “educational” by its defenders, on the few occasions when it is attacked. It is certainly that.
The best educated members are those who come from the Eastern European ghettos where the Kehillah idea was fully understood and practiced and where Jewish – community – government exercised unrestricted sway. Whatever other phase of education the Kehillah may be interested in, it certainly stresses most the education to separateness.
Jew Dr. S. Benderley, director of the Bureau of Education, gave away the objects of the Kehillah “education” thus:
“The Kehillah adopted the ancient policy, not of putting forward their own people, but non-Jews who could be useful to Judah. The difference between pro-Jewish politicians who are not themselves Jews, and politicians of the Jewish race, is that the former can sometimes go further than the Jew in office can, without detection.”
This is the formula for citizens who wish to know the meaning of things otherwise unexplained- “look for the ‘Jewish control’.”
To this end, therefore, the Jews have been strong in all parties, so that whichever way the election went, the Jews would win. In New York it is always the Jewish party that wins. Whoever wins New York rules the Government.
As always election campaigns are staged as an entertainment, a diversion for the people; they are permitted to think and act as if they are really making their own government, but it is always the Jews that win.
And if after having elected their man or group, obedience is not rendered to the Jewish control, then you speedily hear of “scandals” and “investigations” and “impeachments” for the removal of the disobedient.

She was long haired and attractive to a certain degree but hard looking and far too arrogant for my taste. She clearly had a very high regard for herself and for the status that came with his money but she seemed like a bimbo.
He has companies all over the world and has been involved in one swindle after another. He had an air service in Miami and companies in Canada, Australia, China, South Africa, and other parts of the middle east.
His business tactic was pretty simple. He would go into partnership in these companies and if they made him money he would let sleeping dogs lie as long as profits came in. He did not run the companies.
If one of these companies started to lose money he would go to his partner and ask for all of his money back. If he didn’t get it he would then threaten to kill the partner and his whole family. He certainly had the thugs but whether they killed anyone or not I cannot say.

Svetlana fled the war in Ukraine in March, crammed into the back of a truck with her 6-year-old child and other refugees under bombardment by Russian forces. Invited to Israel by a close family friend, she hoped to recover and begin a new life in the Holy Land.
A few months after arriving, she said, she was raped by the man who wrote the letter of invitation that had gotten her out of the war zone.
“She was sleeping and he woke her up and roughly dragged her into his room,” says Olga Udovichenko, whom Svetlana later approached for help at the Volunteer Help Center for Refugees from Ukraine in Haifa.
“She suffered deeply from both the war and the rape — but here she could barely get any assistance from the authorities. Instead of help she encountered a maze of bureaucracy and lost any motivation she had to hold the man to account and seek justice.”
The Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 is estimated to have killed more than 40,000 civilians and displaced up to 30 million more. As the war surpasses 300 days, 17.7 million Ukrainians around the world need humanitarian help and protection, according to the United Nations.
Svetlana is one of over 47,000 Ukrainians — the vast majority of them women — who traveled to Israel since the start of the invasion but who are not eligible for citizenship under Israel’s Law of Return, according to Israel’s Welfare Ministry.
Of these, only approximately 15,000 currently remain in Israel, with the rest having chosen to leave. Not a single Ukrainian fleeing the war has been accorded refugee status by Israel. [That’s because you are considered shiksas. – Kj]
A Times of Israel investigation has documented cases of rape, sexual harassment, workplace exploitation and other abuses faced in Israel by these women, many of whom have had their homes destroyed and lost their livelihoods. At least one of the women’s lives ended in death by suicide.
Many of these abuses remain at best under the radar of the authorities or at worst willfully ignored, leaving the victims in a cycle of violence and poverty that only deepens the trauma they have endured to date. The perpetrators remain free to commit further crimes.
When the war began, volunteer Udovichenko — originally from Crimea, the Black Sea peninsula that Russia annexed from Ukraine in 2014 — was determined to do something to help her fellow Ukrainians.
“My heart was torn into pieces for my motherland,” Udovichenko explains. A graduate student in criminology, Udovichenko decided to help those who are dealing with cases of sexual abuse and harassment. She saw that social services were not easily accessible for Ukrainians arriving in Israel — “at least, not as far as anyone was aware,” she adds.
“The refugees told us that even if they contact the police, they speak only Hebrew. The same thing with social services — it’s a closed circle,” says Udovichenko.
When Svetlana approached her, Udovichenko was shocked to hear what she had endured.
“That man [who hosted Svetlana and her child] would threaten her constantly that he could throw them out on the street, that he would deport her, tell all her friends and relatives that she was a bad person and that she was seeing many men,” says Udovichenko.
According to Udovichenko, the man “would denigrate her, emphasizing that she is worth nothing, that she is a nobody.” In a further attempt to isolate her, he telephoned her friends and relatives, spreading rumors about her.
“In this way, I think he tried to make sure she had no support and make her feel isolated, helpless, so that she would rely on him completely and tell no one,” Udovichenko says.
The alleged rape happened at night, after weeks of lewd remarks, hints and overt suggestions of sex.
“She was stunned, felt helpless, and was afraid both for herself and for her child sleeping in the room next door. She did not fully take in everything that was happening. She told me that it was as if everything was happening in some kind of a nightmare, like she was passively watching it happen to herself,” says Udovichenko.
It took a long time for Svetlana to even admit to herself that she had been raped. “She felt dissonance. She tried to rationalize the rape,” says Udovichenko. “She did not want to feel herself to be a victim. She tried to make herself believe his insistence that this was just a payment for his hospitality and that this was entirely justified.”
Svetlana moved out to stay with a friend. Udovichenko helped her access medical help and advised her to go to the police. Lengthy questioning followed. For weeks, she heard nothing. Later, she received a text message telling her the file had been closed as the police found the evidence insubstantial.
When Svetlana followed up with the help of former MK Ibtisam Mara’ana as to why, the police said she was welcome to appeal the decision by providing further evidence. By then, Svetlana, severely traumatized, said she had no strength to continue with the investigation. She has since left Israel for “a country that accepts refugees,” according to Udovichenko.
“The man turned many people against her,” says Udovichenko. “When she tried to tell a mutual friend what happened, she told her, ‘What is this you are imagining?’”
Today, Svetlana’s alleged rapist is free — and the case is not an isolated one.
Rape and harassment
Statistics on crimes against Ukrainian refugees are hard to come by. One report earlier this year by the Tel Aviv Center for Ukrainian Refugees noted that between March and August 2022, there were three other rape cases involving Ukrainian refugees reported to the police.
There were also 18 cases of sexual harassment under police investigation and 12 other cases of sexual harassment reported to volunteers but not filed with the police, noted the report. [There’s probably at least 10x the number of unreported crimes and incidents. – Kj]
Some details of the alleged crimes have been reported in the local media. In May, an Ashdod resident in his fifties was arrested and indicted for the alleged rape of a 19-year-old Ukrainian woman who had fled the war. The man was reported to have offered to help the woman find a cleaning job (Russian language), and under the pretext of offering her a ride to work, took her instead to a hotel where he is accused of raping her.
In March, an Israeli man was arrested on suspicion of breaking into the apartment of a Ukrainian woman in Jaffa, raping her and robbing her (Russian language).
Activists say the real numbers are likely to be much higher, as many Ukrainians would never report alleged abuse to the police in the first place.
One of the biggest barriers preventing Ukrainian women from seeking legal redress and justice for such abuses is “the lack of accessible information regarding their rights, and the difficulty of realizing these rights on their own,” says Liora Turlevsky, a lawyer who handles many cases for foreign women pro bono alongside her practice on immigration law.
“The authorities in Israel show no understanding toward Ukrainian women’s plight and treat their claims with great suspicion. Even when there is clear evidence for their claims, reality shows that there is no desire to move the wheels of justice and ‘waste’ public resources for the benefit of a foreign woman,” she says.
Another factor is money. “Naturally, these women are in financial distress, and since they are foreigners in Israel they are not entitled to free legal aid, and therefore they are required to pay thousands of shekels to private lawyers for the fulfillment of the most basic rights,” Turlevsky says.

2 Yrs After Jan. 6: 1,000 arrested; no one charged with ‘insurrection’

Two years after the January 6 pro-Trump rally and Capitol riots, the Dept. of Justice has charged nearly 1,000 people with crimes.
However, nobody has been formally accused of “sedition,” “treason,” or “insurrection,” according to officials.
Sedition is defined as: Conduct or speech inciting people to rebel against the authority of a state or monarch.
Insurrection is defined as: A violent uprising against a government or authority.
Treason is defined as: Betrayal of one’s own country by attempting to overthrow the government through waging war against the state or materially aiding its enemies.
The closest related charge made is “seditious conspiracy,” which is planning or plotting with at least one other person to incite rebellion against the authority; not necessarily, personally, committing an act of sedition. Several suspects pleaded guilty to seditious conspiracy. At least one of them, a member of the “Oath Keepers” group, was not present at the US Capitol on January 6.
To date, it is inaccurate and arguably libelous to refer to January 6 defendants as “insurrectionists.”
Most of the defendants, approximately 860, are charged with entering or remaining in a restricted federal building or grounds.
Typically, when Congress is conducting business on the House or Senate floor, the public has a right to enter the US Capitol and watch the proceedings. However, members of the public were blocked from attending on January 6, and there would not have been space for the many thousands to observe in the normal gallery seats.
So far, the Dept. of Justice reports, about 192 people have been sentenced to jail or prison.
Officials say 52 people have pleaded guilty to federal charges of assaulting law enforcement officers.
The only person shot at the US Capitol on January 6 was an unarmed protester named Ashli Babbitt. The US Capitol Police officer who killed her, Lt. Michael Byrd, was not charged with a crime.
Officials kept his identity secret for weeks while they investigated the shooting. Prosecutors eventually found there was no evidence proving that Byrd did not fear that Babbitt could kill him. A shooting by an officer in fear of his life is typically considered to be justified.
In an interview, Byrd claimed he’d “saved countless lives” by killing Babbitt, even though Babbitt was unarmed, and there was no evidence she attacked or intended to attack anyone.
Originally, the New York Times and many political and media figures claimed that another police officer, Brian Sicknick, died after protesters hit him with a fire extinguisher. However, the Times and other media reported the story absent any evidence, and the medical examiner later ruled that Sicknick died of natural causes. The medical examiner’s findings were kept secret for several months.
The FBI is still on the hunt for more January 6 suspects.
FBI Special Agent Stephen Friend told Full Measure that he was suspended after objecting to the agency’s heavy-handed tactics in using SWAT-style raids to arrest non-violent January 6 suspects.
