Well, the Jews did call for the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ in demanding Pontius Pilate to crucify Him.

The Jews invoked the blood of Christ’s murder to be upon their childrens’ heads for all generations to come.
This is the “Deicidal Curse” that’s pressed upon every Jew’s forehead that compels a lust for murder and blood.
“Bloody Passover”—written by Israeli scholar Ariel Toaff, son of the chief rabbi of Rome—proves in his book that many Catholic children were killed by Jews in Europe between 1100 and 1500 AD.
“Dried blood” of the murdered Catholic children was “used for baking matzah,” says Toaff, during the Jewish festival of Passover.
Catholics ever since commemorated the ‘blood-cult’ killing of Simon of Trent.
The boy was murdered by Jews at the age of three in 1475 AD so as to extract his blood for baking matzah.
Toaff, in his book “Bloody Passover,” validates the murder of this Catholic Christian child.
Not only this.
Toaff confirms that European Jews during this period hankered for Catholic children’s blood for its “curative powers.”
So “curative” that roaming Jewish merchants sold the “dried blood” of murdered Catholic children—with approval by rabbis, though forbidden by Moses—to countless blood-lusting Jews.
There is always, for Jews, ways to get around the law.

In 1803 the former rabbi Neofito published a sensational book in the Moldavian language.

It’s ambassador to Germany, Andrij Melnyk, is attempting to guilt Berlin for sending 5,000 helmets as non-lethal aid into supplying Kiev with top of the line warships and air defense systems to defend Ukraine’s portion of Black Sea coastline, apparently for free because of a WW2 “blood debt” that Germany suddenly owes Ukraine.
In January, Germany blocked Estonia’s transfer of Soviet-made, German-owned howitzers and other arms to Ukraine.
Estonia wants to send the D-30, a howitzer that fires a 122-mm shell around 20 kilometers. The Soviet-made howitzers were passed along from the former East Germany to Finland to tiny Estonia.
“This responsibility should be toward the Ukrainian people, who lost at least 8 million lives during the Nazi occupation of Ukraine”, snarked Melnyk.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that Berlin did not supply Ukraine with lethal weapons and this political line would remain unchanged.
Melnyk then chastized Berlin for “lack[ing] the political will, which is ‘regrettable'” amid the alleged danger of war in Europe, and snarked that the German government should follow the example of the United Kingdom, which decided to supply Kiev with anti-tank weapons. Apparently, by doing all of this to Kiev’s tune, then German Chancellor Sholz will then show true European leadership.
In the meantime, when it comes to more Western sanctions against Russia, the Russian ambassador to Sweden said in an interview in reply to a question about the possibility of getting hit with more Western sanctions:
“Excuse my language, but we don’t give a sh*t about all their sanctions,” Viktor Tatarintsev told Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet in an interview published on Saturday.
“We have already had so many sanctions and in that sense they’ve had a positive effect on our economy and agriculture.”

Ukrainian lobbyists contacted US congressional offices, think tanks, and media figures over 10,000 times last year, according to an analysis of Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) filings reported by the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft on Friday.

The Quincy report pointed to the “extraordinary” scale of Ukraine’s lobbying campaign, noting that the lobbying efforts of Saudi Arabia – known as one of the largest foreign lobbies in Washington DC – pales in comparison.
According to the report, most of Kiev’s persuasive efforts focused on members of Congress, who were deluged with over 8,000 contacts – emails, phone calls, and meetings – in an effort to convince them of the need to block the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, among other issues.
The Ukrainian Federation of Employers of the Oil and Gas Industry (UFEOGI), the country’s largest energy trade group, would reportedly cite Ukraine’s PM, arguing that the pipeline was “no less an existential threat” to Ukraine’s “security and democracy” than “Russian troops on the border.”

The pipeline, which is completed but still has to receive the green light from German regulators, would allow Russia to export gas directly to Europe without having to pay Kiev billions for the transfer of gas.
UFEOGI lobbyists apparently centered their efforts on Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas), who took just several days to channel the Ukrainian PM on social media. In his own message, Cruz likewise referred to the Russian pipeline as an “existential threat.”
The trade group also sought to reach out to senators who had previously backed legislation to thwart the completion of the pipeline, including several members of the Foreign Relations Committee with a history of anti-Russian votes.
Cruz, Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas), John Barrasso (R-Wyoming), Ron Johnson (R-Wisconsin), and Jeanne Shaheen (D-New Hampshire) were all contacted at least 100 times last year, with some of these contacts resulting in their staffers meeting directly with Ukrainian energy lobbyists, the report claims.
The bill proposed by Cruz would have imposed bans on doing business with US companies for those involved with the Nord Stream 2 project, in addition to travel restrictions and asset freezes. It failed to pass, however.
A separate legislative proposal, put forth by Senator Bob Menendez (D-New Jersey) and dubbed “the mother of all sanctions,” would punish senior Russian officials and banks in the event of an invasion of Ukraine.
The Quincy report noted that one of Menendez’s former staffers, Brittany Beaulieu, now represents UFEOGI, as well as the ‘Civil Movement for a Just Ukraine’.
Apart from the US lawmakers, Ukrainian lobbyists also reportedly courted pro-NATO think tank the Atlantic Council, contacting it hundreds of times. The report noted that one of the richest men in Ukraine, Victor Pinchuk, is also one of the Atlantic Council’s international advisers, while his foundation is a major contributor to the think tank.
Ukrainian lobbyists also targeted the Heritage Foundation, which has been advocating selling more US weapons to Ukraine and ramping up US financial assistance to Kiev.

The lobbyists reached out 180 times to high-ranking figures in the organization, including its VP, throughout 2021, according to the report.

And Jews haven’t stopped since then, 2000 years later, bearing the blood guilt from Righteous Abel to that of cursing themselves with the blood of Jesus Christ and the Apostles, and all of the righteous, innocent, and saintly blood they’ve shed or profited from since then.
In a jealous rage, Cain murdered Abel. Cain then became a fugitive because his brother’s innocent blood put a curse on him.
In the New Testament, the blood of Abel is cited as an example of the vengeance of violated innocence ( Matthew 23:35; Luke 11:51). The Scribes, Pharisees, and temple priesthood and officers would have understood this great woe pronounced on them.

As well as their fondness of kidnaping and ritually killing Christian children, jews during the Black Death were caught throwing the clothes of plague victims down Christian wells.
However, to this day the accusation: “the jews are poisoning the wells!” is held up as an example of mindless Christian credulity and jew hating.
But the fact remains: jews were indeed caught doing exactly that. In his book The Black Death, Philip Ziegler touches on the subject. Albeit gingerly. In the online version of The Black Death the paragraphs describing the well poisonings have been removed.

But within Ashkenazi Judaism there were extremist groups that could have committed such an act and justified it,” he said.
Toaff said he reached his conclusions after coming across testimony from the trial for the murder of a Christian child, Simon of Trento, in 1475, which in the past was believed to have been falsified.
“I found there were statements and parts of the testimony that were not part of the Christian culture of the judges, and they could not have been invented or added by them. They were components appearing in prayers known from the [Jewish] prayer book.
“Over many dozens of pages I proved the centrality of blood on Passover,” Toaff said. “Based on many sermons, I concluded that blood was used, especially by Ashkenazi Jews, and that there was a belief in the special curative powers of children’s blood. It turns out that among the remedies of Ashkenazi Jews were powders made of blood.”
Although the use of blood is prohibited by Jewish law, Toaff says he found proof of rabbinic permission to use blood, even human blood.
“The rabbis permitted it both because the blood was already dried,” and because in Ashkenazi communities it was an accepted custom that took on the force of law, Toaff said.
There is no proof of acts of murder, Toaff said, but there were curses and hatred of Christians, and prayers inciting to cruel vengeance against Christians. “There was always the possibility that some crazy person would do something.”
Toaff said the use of blood was common in medieval medicine. “In Germany, it became a real craze. Peddlers of medicines would sell human blood, the way you have a transfusion today. The Jews were influenced by this and did the same things.
“In one of the testimonies in the Trento trial, a peddler of sugar and blood is mentioned, who came to Venice,” Toaff says. “I went to the archives in Venice and found that there had been a man peddling sugar and blood, which were basic products in pharmacies of the period.
“A man named Asher of Trento was also mentioned in the trial, who had ostensibly come with a bag and sold dried blood. One of the witnesses said he was tried for alchemy in Venice and arrested there.
“I took a team to the archives and found documentation of the man’s trial. Thus, I found that it is not easy to discount all the testimony,” he added.
Toaff, who will be returning to Israel today, said he was very hurt by accusations that his research plays into the hands of anti-Semitic incitement. “I am being presented like the new Yigal Amir. But one shouldn’t be afraid to tell the truth.”
Toaff also said, “unfortunately my research has become marginal, and only the real or false implications it might have are being related to. I directed the research at intelligent people, who know that in the Jewish world there are different streams.
“I believe that academia cannot avoid dealing with issues that have an emotional impact. This is the truth, and if I don’t publish it, someone else will find it and publish it.”
Still, Toaff says he is sorry he did not explain some of the points in his book more clearly.
He claims that he has been making the same arguments for a long time. “After 35 years of research, I have not become a stupid anti-Semite, and have not published a book to make money.”
In any case, Toaff says he believes his findings have current implications. “Extremists in the past brought disaster on us by false accusations. I wanted to show that hatred and incitement of this kind can develop, because there will always be someone who will take advantage of it.”
Meanwhile, Bar-Ilan University announced yesterday that its president, Professor Moshe Kaveh, will summon Toaff to explain his research.
The university’s statement said it strongly objected to what was implied in media publications regarding Toaff’s research, and condemned “any attempt to justify the terrible blood libels against the Jews.” However, the university also reiterated that Toaff was among the senior lecturers in his field in Israel and internationally.

(CNSNews.com) – Biden administration officials doubled down Sunday on claims that Russia could instigate a “false-flag” incident, such as attacking Moscow-backed separatists in eastern Ukraine to justify sending troops across the Russia-Ukraine border.
“No one should be surprised if Russia instigates a provocation or incident, which it then uses to justify military action it had planned all along,” Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in Hawaii early on Sunday.
National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan also raised the issue during Sunday talk show appearances.
“We also are watching very carefully for the possibility that there is a pretext, or a false-flag operation to kick off the Russian action, in which Russian intelligence services conduct some kind of attack on Russian proxy forces in eastern Ukraine or on Russian citizens, and then blame it on the Ukrainians,” he said on CBS’ “Face the Nation.”
The administration has not made public any evidence to back up the claims, but Sullivan told CNN’s “State of the Union” that the use of such tactics was “consistent with the Russian playbook.”
“We have seen them do this before many times. You ask any Russia expert, they will point to examples of where Russia has used false-flag operations as pretext to start military action.”
He said the U.S. has shared with NATO allies intelligence information it has obtained, and allies who have reviewed the intelligence “assess its credibility and reach the same conclusion we have reached.”
“So, I do think the world should be prepared for Russia staging a pretext and then launching a potential military action.”
Sullivan also said Russian media outlets were “laying the groundwork for a potential pretext by raising the possibility of attacks by Ukrainian forces on either Russians themselves or Russia’s proxy forces in the Donbass.”
Against the backdrop of those warnings from Blinken and Sullivan, Russia’s state news agency TASS on Sunday quoted a spokesman for a Moscow-backed separatist militia in eastern Ukraine’s Donbass region as saying the Ukrainian military was preparing to attack the so-called Luhansk People’s Republic.
A Ukrainian assault airborne brigade was “getting prepared for the deployment as a tactical assault force in the republic’s hinterlands,” TASS quoted Ivan Filiponenko as saying, adding that his militia was conducting air defense drills in preparation.
Separately, another Luhansk People’s Republic spokesman, Rodion Miroshnik, noted that some staffers of an Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) monitoring mission that has been operating in eastern Ukraine since 2014 were being withdrawn, and claimed the move amounted to “preparations for some kind of a large-scale provocation” by Ukraine.
(The OSCE mission confirmed that some participating states have decided to withdraw employees from Ukraine “within the next days.” It stressed that the mission would continue, but added that it “places the highest priority on the safety and security of all its staff and will continue to assess the security situation continuously.”)
Pentagon press secretary John Kirby told Fox News Sunday Russia has “well over 100,000” troops near Ukraine’s borders, with even more having arrived “over the last few days.”
Russia is also holding live-fire exercises in the Black and Azov seas, south of the Ukrainian coastline.
In ongoing efforts to resolve the crisis diplomatically, President Biden spoke on Sunday with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, a day after Biden and Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke by phone.
The White House said in Sunday’s call Biden had reaffirmed the U.S. commitment “to Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity” and made clear that the U.S. “would respond swiftly and decisively, together with its allies and partners, to any further Russian aggression against Ukraine.”
“The two leaders agreed on the importance of continuing to pursue diplomacy and deterrence in response to Russia’s military build-up on Ukraine’s borders.”
‘A very capable military with substantial combat power’
From Sunday, the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv stopped providing consular services, as mission staff continue to be withdrawn. A small contingent will work out of Lviv, a city in the west near the border with Poland.
“We’re shifting some people there in part because of its closer proximity to U.S. diplomatic and consular facilities in neighboring countries so we can maintain close coordination with colleagues in those neighboring countries and ensure that, should military action on the part of Russia begin, we can move those people safely should we decide to do so,” a senior State Department official said on background.
The official said staff were being reduced to a bare minimum because, despite ongoing diplomacy, “it appears increasingly likely that this is where this situation is headed – towards some kind of active conflict.”
“Russia has a very capable military with substantial combat power, and should it choose to utilize a significant piece of that combat power against the Ukrainian capital, there’s plenty of opportunities, even with restraint and respect for diplomatic facilities, for things to go wrong,” the official said.
“So we are essentially diffusing our people to reduce the risk that – should this tip quickly into an active conflict – that we have reduced the risk to official personnel to the best of our ability under the circumstances.”
Meanwhile the Ukrainian government is still looking to multilateral institutions as it seeks a diplomatic resolution. Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba at the weekend triggered an OSCE “risk reduction mechanism,” requiring Russia to provide within 48 hours detailed explanations of its military movements near Ukraine’s borders and inside Russian-controlled Crimea.
After Russia reportedly failed to do so, Kuleba said late Sunday that under OSCE rules, Kyiv was now calling for an extraordinary meeting of all OSCE participating states, at which Russia would be expected to provide an explanation to the entire group. That meeting should be held within 48 hours.
“If Russia is serious when it talks about the indivisibility of security in the OSCE space, it must fulfill its commitment to military transparency in order to de-escalate tensions and enhance security for all,” Kuleba tweeted.
In addition to the buildup of Russian forces inside their territory near Ukraine’s borders, Kyiv is concerned about joint Russia-Belarus military exercises now underway in Belarus, to Ukraine’s north.
Under the OSCE’s 2011 “Vienna Document,” any planned military exercises must be notified to the the organization in writing 42 days in advance if more than 9,000 troops are involved. Further, if more than 13,000 personnel are involved, observers from other member states should be invited.
Russia’s defense ministry has declined to provide numbers for its troops holding wargames in Belarus, but it has said that they fall below the threshold that would require notification to the OSCE.

DNR expects provocations from Ukrainian radical groups
Donetsk, Feb 14 – DAN. Ukrainian nationalist battalions may stage provocations near the demarcation line in Donbass. This was stated today by the Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin.
“Provocations are not ruled out, but provocations from whom? Provocations, for example, by nationalist battalions, which are very indirectly controlled by Ukraine due to the fact that they are financed, as a rule, from outside,” Pushilin said on the radio station Ekho Moskvy.
According to him, the statements of Western politicians, in particular, about the dates of the so-called “Russian invasion”, as well as the pumping of Ukraine with weapons, are an indirect confirmation of the likelihood of a resumption of the hot phase of the conflict in the Donbass.

Armed Forces of Ukraine prepared a unit with American Stinger MANPADS for Donbass
Donetsk, Feb 15 – DAN. A special mobile air defense unit with Stinger man-portable air defense systems has been formed in Ukraine to be sent to the conflict zone in Donbass. This was reported today in the Department of the People’s Militia of the DPR.
“A special mobile air defense unit has been created in the 1129th anti-aircraft missile regiment (a point of permanent deployment in Bila Tserkva near Kiev – approx. DAN) from Stinger man-portable air defense systems on Humvee vehicles, which will perform tasks in the JFO zone,” they noted in management.
They added that 28 Ukrainian servicemen underwent accelerated training under the guidance of Canadian military instructors to recruit the new unit.
“We believe that the very fact of the creation of such air defense units of the Ukrainian army, staffed by poorly trained military personnel, has become one of the reasons for the imposition of a ban on flights over Ukraine by aircraft of foreign airlines,” the UNM added.
The American Stinger MANPADS is designed to destroy aircraft, including supersonic aircraft, and helicopters flying at low and extremely low altitudes. This complex, created by General Dynamics, is the most widespread means of combating air targets, which is in service with foreign armies.

Kiev trained over 20,000 saboteurs – Pushilin

KYIV, Ukraine — As Israel’s leaders implore citizens to hurry back from Ukraine “before things get complicated” along the Russian border, and Western newspapers run ominous headlines warning of the potential for Europe’s bloodiest conflict since World War II, Ukraine’s capital could not feel further from impending conflict.
I made last-minute arrangements to travel to Kyiv on Monday morning. While the flight to Georgia departing from the next gate over looked fairly full, only a dozen passengers boarded El Al’s 6:30 a.m. to Kyiv.
That total included a Ukrainian family, a lone Ukrainian man with some hardcore tattoos, your humble diplomatic correspondent, and what was obviously the delegation of Israeli diplomats being sent into the country to reinforce embassy staff in helping Israeli citizens return home — and even prepare for the possibility of evacuating tens of thousands of Ukrainian Jews, if need be.
Though the El Al staff put forth a cheery front, it was impossible not to notice a touch of worry as we disembarked. The pilot wished the mostly empty plane “a happy Valentine’s Day, and a…safe…stay in Kyiv,” while the flight attendants at the door told us, “Take care of yourselves.”
But, having arrived in Kyiv and away from Israelis, I couldn’t find any indication that anyone was particularly concerned about the 100 Russian battalion tactical groups deployed on Ukraine’s eastern and northern borders. The airport was perfectly bustling and the immigration officials at passport control were brusque, but joking amongst themselves.
My cab driver was a gregarious Uzbeki man named Muhammed. I asked him how concerned he was about the possibility of war, and it took a moment before he grasped why I was asking about a Russian invasion.
With a dismissive wave of the hand and an altogether-too-long look at me in the back seat while driving on the highway, Muhammed blamed the “yellow” British press for their sensationalistic coverage. He seemed far more animated about his Jewish Uzbeki friend Isaac, who had moved to Israel and apparently is doing pretty well for himself.
In midday central Kyiv, there was no sense of tension or preparation for war. At the Maidan Nezalezhnosti landmark, signs were erected with the hashtag #saveukraine. I assumed the campaign was calling for defense against the Russian threat, but it turned out to be a civil movement fighting government corruption.
At the Cuba Coffeeshop nearby, couples sipped their cappuccinos together. A pair of British telecommunications workers were chatting over whiskies about everything other than war, until I brought up the topic. They allowed that their company had discussed with them the possibility of evacuating immediately if more airlines canceled flights out of Ukraine, but for now, they weren’t too concerned.
The mood on Kyiv’s streets mirrored the message Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has been putting forth as Western countries speak of war breaking out “at any time.”
“Right now, the people’s biggest enemy is panic in our country. And all this information is only provoking panic and not helping us,” he said on Saturday. “If you or anyone has any additional information about a 100 percent chance of an invasion, give it to us.”
In the meantime, however, an increasing number of the 10-15,000 Israelis in the country seem to be taking a different view. Flights out of the country are filling up, and Foreign Ministry spokesman Lior Haiat told me: “Our campaign is beginning to work.”
For now, Ukrainians — from their leaders to diners in Kyiv’s cafes — view that campaign as unnecessary at best.

Some U.S. media outlets have been spreading “blatant fake news” about the threat of a further Russian invasion of Ukraine, Chairman of Ukraine’s Servant of the People parliamentary faction David Arakhamia said during the Pravo Na Vladu (“Right to Power”) show on the 1+1 TV Channel on Feb. 14.
He compared role of U.S. media outlets with Russian propagandists, though the MP added that he thinks “the panic phase (of the crisis) will disappear” in a few weeks.
“I think when the phase disappears in two or three weeks, we should do a retrospective analysis of how large, very well-known media outlets began to spread information worse than (Russian propagandists) (Olga) Skabeeva and (Vladimir) Solovyov,” Arakhamia said.
“Blatant fake news in CNN, Bloomberg, WSJ… We must study this, since these are elements of a hybrid war.”
He said “attempts are being made now to make a new collective security treaty,” and Ukraine is only a platform for negotiations.
Arakhamia also said that the publication of information about the threat of invasion by the Russian army “costs the country $2-3 billion every month.”
“We can’t borrow in foreign markets because the rates are crazy there,” he continued.
“Many exporters are idle. We count the economic losses every day and then submit this information to our partners through the Foreign Ministry, since they have to understand this.”
“When someone decides to relocate the embassy to (the western city of) Lviv, they must understand that such news will cost the Ukrainian economy several hundred million dollars,” Arakhamia added, referring to recent decisions made by a few foreign governments to move their consulate services away from Kyiv.
The Ukrainian hryvnia has been one such cost of late, with the National Bank of Ukraine pointing to recent drops in the Ukrainian national currency’s price, compared to the dollar, as due solely to “geopolitical risk,” and has been selling foreign reserves to meet demand for currency.
Media hype or an imminent threat?
Russia has deployed about 140,000 troops and equipment on the border with Ukraine.
It has officially denied its intention to carry out a large-scale invasion of Ukraine, while continuing to arm and command its proxy groups in non-government controlled regions of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.
On Feb. 11, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that the U.S. government “continues to see very troubling signs of Russian escalation, including new forces arriving at the Ukrainian border.”
U.S. political media outlet Politico also reported on Feb. 11 that U.S. President Joe Biden told Western leaders that Russia would start a physical assault on Ukraine as soon as Feb. 16.
Meanwhile, the U.S.-based Bloomberg news agency reported that a fresh Russian aggression against Ukraine could begin on Feb. 15.
Russia in turn accused foreign media of a “large-scale disinformation campaign.”
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has again said that the Ukrainian government has “everything under control.” He also announced Feb. 16, 2022 as Unity Day.
According to NSDC Secretary Danilov, Ukraine’s leadership sees no signs of Russia preparing for a full-scale offensive on Feb. 16.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Wednesday decried the vote by Russia’s parliament that urged President Vladimir Putin to recognize two pro-Russia regions in eastern Ukraine as independent.
In a statement, as cited by Reuters, the top American diplomat said the resolution would “necessitate a swift and firm response from the United States in full coordination with our allies and partners.”
“Enactment of this resolution would further undermine Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, constitute a gross violation of international law, call into further question Russia’s stated commitment to continue to engage in diplomacy to achieve a peaceful resolution of this crisis,” Blinken said.
Russia’s lower house of parliament on Tuesday voted overwhelmingly to urge Putin to recognize the independence of the regions of Donetsk and Luhansk, together known as Donbas, in eastern Ukraine.
“Kyiv is not observing the Minsk agreements. Our citizens and compatriots who live in Donbass need our help and support,” Vyacheslav Volodin, the speaker of Russia’s State Duma, wrote on social media.
Blinken said such a move would amount to “the Russian government’s wholesale rejection of its commitments under the Minsk agreements”.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Putin had “taken note” of the resolution but that it would not be in line with the 2014-15 Minsk agreements seeking end to the protracted conflict.
After the vote, Western countries, including Germany, moved swiftly to denounce the move, warning that it would hurt the ongoing diplomatic efforts.
“That would be a violation of these agreements,” German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said during a joint press conference after his meeting with Putin on Tuesday. “That would be a political disaster.”
In Brussels, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said that would be “a blatant violation of Ukraine’s territory and sovereignty once again”.
In response, Putin said Russians were sympathetic to the residents of the Donbass region, but he wanted the regions’ problems to be resolved through the Minsk accords.
Russia and the US-led NATO military alliance have recently been at odds over Ukraine, among other issues.
Washington and its allies have been accusing Russia of plans to invade Ukraine by amassing 100,000 troops and armaments near the border with the former Soviet Union country.
However, Moscow has vehemently rejected the allegations, saying the military build-up is defensive in nature, slamming NATO over its increased military activity near Russian borders.
On Tuesday, some Russian troops deployed in areas bordering Ukraine returned to their bases following the completion of drills, Russia’s defense ministry said, in a major step toward de-escalation.
It was not immediately clear how many units were being pulled out and what impact it would possibly have on tensions between Moscow and the West.
But, on Wednesday, NATO accused Russia of sending more troops to a massive military build-up around Ukraine, dismissing Moscow’s announcement of partial withdrawal.
“We have not seen any withdrawal of Russian forces. And of course, that contradicts the message of diplomatic efforts,” NATO secretary-general Jens Stoltenberg. “What we see is that they have increased the number of troops and more troops are on their way. So, so far, no de-escalation.”
Meanwhile, back in the US, claims trumpeted by Biden and its European allies that Russians are mulling invasion of Ukraine were dismissed by a former US Green Party presidential candidate, Jill Stein.

On matters of war and peace, ministerial deceit is reported as news. Inconvenient facts are censored, demons are nurtured. The model is corporate spin, the currency of the age. In 1964, McLuhan famously declared, “The medium is the message.” The lie is the message now.
But is this new? It is more than a century since Edward Bernays, the father of spin, invented “public relations” as a cover for war propaganda. What is new is the virtual elimination of dissent in the mainstream.
The great editor David Bowman, author of The Captive Press, called this “a defenestration of all who refuse to follow a line and to swallow the unpalatable and are brave.”
He was referring to independent journalists and whistle blowers, the honest mavericks to whom media organizations once gave space, often with pride. The space has been abolished.
The war hysteria that has rolled in like a tidal wave in recent weeks and months is the most striking example. Known by its jargon, “shaping the narrative,” much if not most of it is pure propaganda.
The No-Evidence Rule
The Russians are coming. Russia is worse than bad. Putin is evil, “a Nazi like Hitler,” salivated the Labour MP Chris Bryant. Ukraine is about to be invaded by Russia – tonight, this week, next week.
The sources include an ex CIA propagandist who now speaks for the U.S. State Department and offers no evidence of his claims about Russian actions because “it comes from the U.S. Government.”

The no-evidence rule also applies in London. British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss, who spent £500,000 of public money flying to Australia in a private plane to warn the Canberra government that both Russia and China were about to pounce, offered no evidence. Antipodean heads nodded; the “narrative” is unchallenged there. One rare exception, former Prime Minister Paul Keating, called Truss’s warmongering “demented.”
Truss has blithely confused the countries of the Baltic and Black Sea. In Moscow, she told the Russian foreign minister that Britain would never accept Russian sovereignty over Rostov and Voronezh – until it was pointed out to her that these places were not part of Ukraine but in Russia. Read the Russian press about the buffoonery of this pretender to 10 Downing Street and cringe.
Dangerous Farce
This entire farce, recently starring U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson in Moscow playing a clownish version of his hero, Winston Churchill, might be enjoyed as satire were it not for its wilful abuse of facts and historical understanding and the real danger of war.
Vladimir Putin refers to the “genocide” in the eastern Donbass region of Ukraine. Following the coup in Ukraine in 2014 – orchestrated by former U.S. President Barack Obama’s “point person” in Kyiev, Victoria Nuland – the coup regime, infested with neo-Nazis, launched a campaign of terror against Russian-speaking Donbass, which accounts for a third of Ukraine’s population.
Overseen by CIA Director John Brennan in Kyiev, “special security units” coordinated savage attacks on the people of Donbass, who opposed the coup.
Video and eyewitness reports show bussed fascist thugs burning the trade union headquarters in the city of Odessa, killing 41 people trapped inside. The police are standing by. Obama congratulated the “duly elected” coup regime for its “remarkable restraint.”
In the U.S. media the Odessa atrocity was played down as “murky” and a “tragedy” in which “nationalists” (neo-Nazis) attacked “separatists” (people collecting signatures for a referendum on a federal Ukraine).
Rupert Murdoch’s Wall Street Journal damned the victims —”Deadly Ukraine Fire Likely Sparked by Rebels, Government Says.”
Professor Stephen Cohen, acclaimed as America’s leading authority on Russia, wrote,
“The pogrom-like burning to death of ethnic Russians and others in Odessa reawakened memories of Nazi extermination squads in Ukraine during World War II. [Today] storm-like assaults on gays, Jews, elderly ethnic Russians, and other ‘impure’ citizens are widespread throughout Kyiv-ruled Ukraine, along with torchlight marches reminiscent of those that eventually inflamed Germany in the late 1920s and 1930s …
“The police and official legal authorities do virtually nothing to prevent these neo-fascist acts or to prosecute them. On the contrary, Kyiv has officially encouraged them by systematically rehabilitating and even memorializing Ukrainian collaborators with Nazi German extermination pogroms, renaming streets in their honor, building monuments to them, rewriting history to glorify them, and more.”
Today, neo-Nazi Ukraine is seldom mentioned. That the British are training the Ukrainian National Guard, which includes neo-Nazis, is not news. The return of violent, endorsed fascism to 21st-century Europe, to quote Harold Pinter, “never happened … even while it was happening.”
On Dec. 16, the United Nations tabled a resolution that called for “combating glorification of Nazism, neo-Nazism and other practices that contribute to fuelling contemporary forms of racism.” The only nations to vote against it were the United States and Ukraine.
Almost every Russian knows that it was across the plains of Ukraine’s “borderland” that Hitler’s divisions swept from the west in 1941, bolstered by Ukraine’s Nazi cultists and collaborators. The result was more than 20 million Russian dead.
Russian Proposals
Setting aside the manoeuvres and cynicism of geopolitics, whomever the players, this historical memory is the driving force behind Russia’s respect-seeking, self-protective security proposals, which were published in Moscow in the week the U.N. voted 130-2 to outlaw Nazism. They are:
– NATO guarantees that it will not deploy missiles in nations bordering Russia. (They are already in place from Slovenia to Romania, with Poland to follow)
– NATO to stop military and naval exercises in nations and seas bordering Russia.
– Ukraine will not become a member of NATO.
– the West and Russia to sign a binding East-West security pact.
– the landmark treaty between the U.S. and Russia covering intermediate-range nuclear weapons to be restored. (The U.S. abandoned it in 2019.)
These amount to a comprehensive draft of a peace plan for all of post-war Europe and ought to be welcomed in the West. But who understands their significance in Britain? What they are told is that Russian President Vladimir Putin is a pariah and a threat to Christendom.
Russian-speaking Ukrainians, under economic blockade by Kiev for seven years, are fighting for their survival. The “massing” army we seldom hear about are the 13 Ukrainian army brigades laying siege to Donbass: an estimated 150,000 troops. If they attack, the provocation to Russia will almost certainly mean war.
In 2015, brokered by the Germans and French, the presidents of Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France met in Minsk and signed an interim peace deal. Ukraine agreed to offer autonomy to Donbass, now the self-declared republics of Donetsk and Luhansk.
The Minsk agreement has never been given a chance. In Britain, the line, amplified by Boris Johnson, is that Ukraine is being “dictated to” by world leaders. For its part, Britain is arming Ukraine and training its army.
Since the first Cold War, NATO has effectively marched right up to Russia’s most sensitive border having demonstrated its bloody aggression in Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and broken solemn promises to pull back.
Having dragged European “allies” into American wars that do not concern them, the great unspoken is that NATO itself is the real threat to European security.
In Britain, a state and media xenophobia is triggered at the very mention of “Russia.” Mark the knee-jerk hostility with which the BBC reports Russia. Why? Is it because the restoration of imperial mythology demands, above all, a permanent enemy? Certainly, we deserve better.

I was toggling back and forth today between terrifying indications of a coming violent clash in eastern Ukraine and the reality of a violent clash between the Canadian government and peaceful anti-mandate protesters in Ottawa.
I became dizzy and disoriented, as looking at troop build-ups on both sides in Russia-Ukraine and troop build-ups (as in the above photo from today) in Canada blurred more and more together.
Violence is the glue that holds government power together.
As ever, the battlefield was not only on the ground. Competing media narratives also battled it out, though the dominant (Washington/MSM) view in both situations was firmly in control of the microphone.
Biden told us today that he now (finally – after weeks of wrong predictions) knows that – for sure this time – Putin was going to sack and plunder Kiev with an army of hundreds of thousands (the number keeps increasing from one telling to the next).
Asked how he is not finally convinced, he answered “we have a very good intelligence capability.” Well, considering its recent performance, that is a matter for debate.
A “false flag” from Russia was coming, said the warhawks who infest the Beltway. They would do something spectacular to establish a pretext for their planned invasion, we were told.
Secretary of State Blinken said as much yet again in his cut-rate Colin Powell performance before the UN Security Council yesterday. And if for some reason they don’t attack Kiev, it’s because Biden’s steadfast defense of decency led Putin to “reverse course.”
As I said in an interview yesterday, the whole Washington performance is cartoonish.

Will the Russians attack? Well, they’ve been clear for years: a Kiev attack on three-quarters of a million Russian citizens in eastern Ukraine – who because of a Washington coup found themselves ruled by a government that came to power illegitimately – will be met with a Russian military response.
In the breathless world of the braindead media hacks, the world began yesterday. But actually we are seeing a situation similar to 2008 in South Ossetia, where Russian passport holders (and Russian OSCE monitors) found themselves under attack by Georgia.
The result was lightening fast, effective, and limited. Russia could have held and “regime-changed” Tbilisi. They did not. They made their point and left.
Even the US government-funded RFE had to admit that yes, in fact, it was Georgia that started the hostilities…and Russia that ended them.
Will Russia come to the aid of Donbas? Yes. They are not trying to hide it. They’ve been saying it for years.
The renowned historian and international relations theoretician Edward Luttwak – never accused of being a political partisan – put it best on Twitter:
“The latest IC forecast: war is imminent and Russian forces will rely on exceptionally intense artillery bombardments, of Kiev too. That implies a reckless-gambler Putin, willing to make Ukrainians hate Russia & Russians forever. Neither is congruent with Putin’s record so far.”
This is the difference between astute analysts and the cardboard cut-outs who populate the media. People of intellectual substance like Luttwak are not in the business to grind an axe. They analyze past behavior and seek the truth.
Sadly these days we are stuck with the former, with the latter being rarities.
Meanwhile in Canada, a liberal Western democracy has declared war – literally – on its own peaceful citizens who have gathered to oppose the absurd continuation of Covid-related mandates.
Even insane San Francisco is in the process of eliminating its mandates, yet somehow Justin Trudeau’s Canada is willing to literally go to war with its own people to keep them in place.
What is funny about Canada (and this is also true of the US and many “Western” liberal democracies), is that they are very happy to preach to the rest of the world that peaceful protests must be allowed while literally at the same time brutally cracking down on same protests in their own countries.
As in the late Soviet era, the hypocrisy is impossible to ignore. The regime disintegrates under the weight of its own contradictions.
If like me you are toggling between Ukraine and Canada, watching violence and the threat of violence spilling out all over, you feel that old sickening feeling.
You know things are about to get much worse. You know that the machine of evil is well-oiled with our blood and money. Our choice is to admit defeat or to keep fighting against government violence and those who promote it.

Donetsk, Lugansk declare general military mobilization

Following the repeated shelling of Donbas by Kiev, the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics have started evacuating their citizens, with their leaders subsequently announcing general mobilization.
The self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) and Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) announced a general mobilization in the two republics.
In a phone call with Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in Crimea, Assistant to the President of the Donetsk Republic Victoria Talankina said that the head of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic, Denis Pushilin, has signed a decree on general mobilization in the republic, urging nationals who are in reserve to come to the military commissariats.
On his account, Pushilin said: “I urge fellow countrymen who are in reserve to come to the military commissariats. Today I signed a decree on general mobilization.”
Pushilin added that “large-scale shelling by Ukraine of the territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics is underway. Only in recent days, our army has prevented several attempts at terrorist attacks by the Ukrainian special services,” stressing that the DPR will be able to contain Kiev’s assault.
During the shelling, the Ukrainian Armed Forces deployed mortars, grenade launchers, and anti-tank missile systems, while DPR forces held back the enemy with return fire, Pushilin said.
Fearing military aggression by the Ukrainian government, both Donetsk and Lugansk began evacuating residents to Russia on Friday.
As of Saturday morning, over 25,000 citizens of Lugansk and 6,600 people, including nearly 2,500 children, from Donetsk had crossed the Russian border.
The situation on the contact line between Ukraine and the DPR and LPR has deteriorated in recent days as Kiev has increased its shelling of the republics’ lands.

Yesterday when the heavy shelling started, per the President of Russia daily newsletter, Putin gave instructions to Government and Emergencies Ministry to accomodate refugees entering Rostov Region from Donbas.
“Governor of the Rostov Region Vasily Golubev addressed the President with a request for urgent assistance from the federal centre due to the influx of refugees from Donbass.
“The President had a telephone conversation with the Acting Emergency Situations Minister. Alexander Chupriyan was instructed to immediately fly to the region in order to organise work on site to create the conditions for accommodating the arriving people and providing them with hot meals and everything necessary, including medical help.
In addition, Vladimir Putin instructed the Government to promptly provide 10,000-ruble payments to every person arriving in the Rostov Region from Donbass.”
I read in passing that Rostov Region was anticipating at least 100,000 refugees from the Donbas republics. What with the general mobilization of males, I believe in the 18-55 year old range, to join up with the military commissariats (People’s Militia of the DPR) to fight the Ukrainians and repel aggression, refugees to Rostov Region will be largely the elderly, women, children, and disabled.
At least one Ukrainian shell was fired into Rostov Region impacting in a field about a kilometre inside the Russian border.

Why in the world did Kruschev make a new country when he created Ukraine and sliced it and Crimea off of the rest of Russia?

Oh Canada: Trudeau’s Government Condemns Cuba Over Free Speech As Canada Cracks Down on Free Speech

The Trudeau government went public this week with a condemnation of Cuba over its lack of free speech protections as the government deployed unprecedented powers to crackdown on Canadian truckers and their supporters. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has invoked the 1988 Emergencies Act for the first time to freeze accounts of truckers and contributions by other Canadian citizens.
It was entirely unnecessary and, while the media is largely supportive of Trudeau, the powers have been condemned by civil liberties groups in Canada.
As noted by the Miami Herald, it is rare for Trudeau’s government to criticize Cuba where Canada has considerable economic interests. Canada not only pumps millions of dollars into the economy through tourism but Canadian companies hold lucrative mining contracts on the island.
The condemnation was triggered by Cuba’s outrageous sentencing of protesters from last July to up to 20 years in prison. The government was clearly correct in expressing its outrage. However, there was something jarring in the Trudeau government then adding “Canada strongly advocates for freedom of expression and the right to peaceful assembly free from intimidation. We stand with the people of Cuba in their aspiration for #democracy.”
The 1988 law is meant to address the greatest national threats when existing laws are insufficient. However, there are ample laws allowing the clearing of roads and bridges. Trudeau is using the Act to intimidate not just the truckers but anyone who supports them. That includes sending lists of names to banks for accounts to be frozen and going to court to prevent donations from reaching the truckers.
Ironically, it was Trudeau’s father, who used the predecessor to the Act for the first time in peacetime to suspend civil liberties. Former prime minister Pierre Trudeau invoked the War Measures Act on Oct. 16, 1970, after separatist terrorists calling themselves the Front de libération du Québec kidnapped British Trade Commissioner James Cross and Quebec Labour Minister Pierre Laporte. The prior Act had never been used in peacetime and only twice before during prior wars.
Justin Trudeau, like his father, has never been a stronger support of free speech. Indeed, he has more often championed its limitations. He previously declared that “freedom of expression is not without limits . . . we owe it to ourselves to act with respect for others and to seek not to arbitrarily or unnecessarily injure those with whom we are sharing a society and a planet.”
He has long been criticized for his anti-free speech policies, including his move to amend the Criminal Code and the Canadian Human Rights Act to criminalize any “communication that expresses detestation or vilification of an individual or group of individuals on the basis of a prohibited ground of discrimination.”
That regulation of speech was criticized for its vague terms to prevent “social media platforms, [from being] used to threaten, intimidate, bully and harass people, or used to promote racist, anti-Semitic, Islamophobic, misogynistic and homophobic views that target communities, put people’s safety at risk and undermine Canada’s social cohesion or democracy.”
The sweeping and ambiguous standard is clearly intended to chill speech and allow the government the broadest possible scope of powers over speech. It is the codification of the type of ambiguous speech codes used on college campuses.
The timing for the condemnation of Cuba’s free speech policies could not be worse. As the statement went out, images of protesters trampled by police horses were triggered outrage in Ottawa. Yet, Trudeau has always relied on a largely compliant and supportive media in cracking down on conservative speech or dissenting views.
Trudeau caused an uproar when he condemn members of Parliament questioning his powers as supporting Nazis. Trudeau later refused to apologize for his comments.
The sense of impunity by Trudeau is understandable. The media has largely echoed his attacks on the truckers and supported his use of these powers despite the clear threat to free speech and associational rights. We have a de facto state media where the government reasonably expects media and social media to reinforce its message — and effectively silence its critics. To raise questions about these measures is to invite attack.
The response to the Canada crackdown is particularly striking. When mounted officers were shown holding off undocumented migrants at the border, the media went into a collective condemnation of photos that falsely suggested that officers were wiping migrants with their riding straps.
This false claim was amplified by President Joe Biden who promise (before any investigation) to punish the officers. (The Administration continue to this day to refuse to release the results of its investigation or to clear these officers). The fact that people fell around a mounted unit does not make the Canadian police the new Cossacks. However, the same was true for the customs officers who actually appear to have been falsely accused.
The fact is that the government always had the power to clear these roads. Trudeau wanted to use the crisis to crackdown on political opponents by threatening funding and chilling supporters. The media has again assisted in this effort by using hacked information to name some of those who are donors.
While Twitter barred discussion of the Hunter Biden laptop story before the election on clearly false grounds of hacking, Twitter is allowing such hacked information to be used against supporters of the truckers.
The personal information of roughly 90,000 donors was leaked after hackers reportedly compromised the accounts of GiveSendGo late Sunday. Media figures posted the hacked list to facilitate the harassment. There is still no word of an FBI investigation into the hacking.
In the meantime, donors report being harassed and doxxed by supporters of the Trudeau government and its crackdown on the truckers. It is an organized attempt that parallels the efforts of the Trudeau government.
While Canada is not sending away people for 20 years, it is clearly seeking to use these powers to chill the exercise of free speech. The millions of frozen contributions for the truckers could have been used to support trucker families or activities other than the blockades.
The government now could use such powers to shutdown any political group in the name of public safety.
The Canadian government has assembled a blacklist of citizens to have their accounts frozen while blocking support for the movement. It is all meant to intimidate those who want to speak and associate freely.
That does not make Canada the new Cuba. However, it also does not make Canada the true north for guiding other nations on the freedom of speech.

O Canada, the Great White North, hovering ominously above Niagara Falls somewhere, is a winter wonderland, and one of the great pleasures of the season there, apparently, for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, is skating on thin ice.
Why is that? Perhaps in all the hollering you have forgotten how Mr. T has kicked off a civil war: by forcing government-mandated shots on his country’s working class of an alleged “vaccine” that doesn’t work and harms people, at the dwindling end of a worldwide disease scare that scientists in Canadian labs may have helped to create.
The great truckers’ convoy that converged on Canada’s capital city, Ottawa, has exposed the ugly truth at the heart of this historic moment for Western Civ: that governments have declared war on their own citizens. It happens that PM Trudeau represents his country’s Liberal Party, which is suddenly the party of unchecked government power to interfere in the lives of citizens, the party of speech suppression, news management, forced unsafe vaccinations, and the seizure of citizens’ property outside due process of law.
Under the Emergencies Act, Mr. Trudeau’s police have now arrested the leaders of the trucker’s revolt, Tamara Lich and Chris Barber, on charges of “counseling to commit mischief” (O, dear…!), and seized their bank accounts, while also freezing the bank accounts of anyone who donated money to the truckers’ cause.
That action led, naturally, to runs on Canada’s major banks, leading to bank shut-downs on Wednesday — d’uh… what do you expect when the authorities send the message: your money is not safe in Canada’s banks, and might not even be your money if we say it’s not?
And now everybody — including alert citizens watching from many other countries — waits to see what the next moves are. Let’s also note that it’s not just the truckers in revolt against insane government mandates; it’s also at least half the population of Canada who stand behind the truckers and against the new fashion for tyranny in what used to be called the Free West.
I’d venture to guess that the next move will be a general strike that paralyzes Canada and forces its parliament to overrule the Emergency Act and get rid of PM Trudeau.
Meanwhile, like a coronavirus itself, the trucker protest movement has infected America. A “People’s Convoy” is assembling around Barstow, California (the capital of the Mojave Desert, where there’s plenty of room to assemble), with a launch date of February 23, next Wednesday, destination: Washington DC.
Won’t that be… interesting? What will the government of “Joe Biden” do? Likewise invoke some sort of emergency powers? Declare yet another “insurrection” as with January 6, 2021? Mess with the truckers’ bank accounts, and those of the people who support them?
Do they want to inspire a run on US banks at a juncture where the extreme fragility of the global banking system threatens to blow up financial markets? Standing by on that.
The US government, like Canada’s, has likewise been at war with its citizens. At least half the country has awakened to this unappetizing reality — even while somewhat less than half the country still catatonically follows whatever idiotic diktat the despotic bureaucracy spews out. Why, for instance, do so many still go about in face masks even where local regulations are lifted? (And especially in light of the overwhelming evidence that masks don’t work?)
Answer: to signify that they are still against Trump, the evil leviathan said to be responsible for all the woes and injustices in the world and who threatens their ”safety”— meaning, their status as oppressed victims of “white supremacy,” including the guilty-and-penitent self-oppressed white people of the Left themselves. Yeah, it’s just that simple because we are in an epic episode of human social hysteria.
Except that the hysteria is dissipating for all except the most psychotic or the most politically cornered due to their record of perfidy and bad faith — the David Frums, Max Boots, and Rachel Maddows of our world, the cable news outfits, the Democratic Party hierarchy, the criminally psychopathic swine running the US public health agencies, and the craven doctors who have fecklessly murdered patients at the behest of Dr. Anthony Fauci & Company.
Despite the sedulous efforts to suppress the data (O, the sacred data!) about the failure of their “vaccines,” the real news is getting out: the “vaccines” don’t prevent transmission or infection of Covid-19, and they pose lethal side-effects for the vaxxed. There it is, in plain English. And yet, “Joe Biden,” putative president of the US, is still telling the country to “go out and get vaccinated, get boosted” — ???
The companies who produced the “vaccines’ are even on the run. Pfizer withdrew its application for an emergency use authorization in India, where the public health agency insisted on seeing the safety records Pfizer was obliged to furnish — and refused to. India is a big market for pharmaceuticals, some 1.39 billion. Pfizer’s stock has crashed nearly 10 percent the past two weeks.
By the way, some of the states of India are notable for having battled Covid-19 with the mass distribution of early treatment kits containing cheap anti-virals such as ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, Vitamin D, etc. The program was famously successful in reducing deaths there.
The CEO of Moderna, Stéphane Bancel, has sold off $400-million of his own stock in the company and deleted his Twitter account on rumors that all-causes deaths reported by US life insurance companies show a shocking and mysterious rise in mortality that just may be attributed to the “vaccines” causing strokes, heart attacks, cancer cases, and immune system failures. (Moderna’s stock is also sinking.)
Neither the mainstream news media nor the US public health agencies are making any effort to investigate this now well-documented occurrence.
We’re in the midst of a tremendous shift of public opinion. Winter is not over but the truth is budding now in a thousand places. The people are done kneeling docilly to be silenced and killed. They will not let this country, and many other nations in the Western Civ club, be destroyed without a fight.
The unmasked are unmasking their masked antagonists. Stand by, now, to find out who has been behind all this deadly mischief. We will rip off their masks and the rule of law will be restored.

I think people in Canada, New Zealand and Australia are finally beginning to wake up to the fact that they have no rights, only privileges, and that the time has finally come to create a completely new legal system that gives them the right to free of speech and the right to keep and bear arms.

Where’s the money?
The questions keep on coming, so we want to answer!
The number one question people are asking right now is, “Have the truckers received the funds?” Our answer is this: “Yes, the truckers have received some of the funds paid out to the ‘Adopt a Trucker’ campaign.”
As this plays out with the Canadian government, there have been steps taken to prevent the funds from being “frozen”. Currently, the bulk of the funds are in an undisclosed U.S. bank.
Right now, the teams involved are actively discussing the legal options for getting the funds where they need to go. (Thank you to those who’ve sent in suggestions, you’ve definitely had some creative ones!)

The psychotic freak is Aubrey Cottle, aka the hacker and cyberterrorist, “Kirtaner”, and founder of the hacktivist group Anonymous. He supposedly retired from Anonymous in the mid- to late-20s, but returned to activity with the group in 2020 to fight QAnon. He’s responsible for mischief with Parler and on the defunct 8chan.
He loves to mess with “nazis” — anyone who is politically the least shade right of center. He squarely aligns with far-left Antifa and BLM.
He’s a self-admitted tool of the “alphabet agencies,” has an intimate relationship with intel agencies such as the FBI, RCMP, Interpol, probably Canadian Security Intelligence Services for counter-terrorism work against Al Qaeda and terrorists.
He admits the group has the support of US intelligence. He stated he had been “lucky” enough to be granted “the blessing of alphabet agencies” – slang for intelligence services – to “weaponize Anonymous” for “antiterrorism” purposes, that is, breaking the law with impunity.
This FBI asset has publicly claimed credit for attack on GAB and First Amendment domain registrar Epik. He hacked Parler and Trump’s upcoming new social media.
Mainstream media has praised Cottle, self-styled “Internet Warlord”, for taking on the far-right. He’s supposedly “antisemitic” however, for whatever purposes or out of his own illogic — or whatever his intelligence paymasters call for.
Cottle has a history of making pro-Hitler, antisemitic remarks on social media. “Kirtaner” (or RealOGAnonymous) had collaborated with notorious neo-Nazi cyber-activist “weev”, who is a Jew who opposes Judaism named Andrew Auernheimer, to conduct major hacks that could be blamed on Antifa.
Perhaps he was irked at the time with Antifa, or else it was just for intel cover, because Cottle himself is a known, self-admitted, far-left extremist who has publically aligned himself approvingly with the increasingly tyrannical and psycho Justin Castreau. Virtually all of his cyber-terrorism involves attacks on the right — nationalists, conservatives, and Christian.

I do think it would be good if the money that has already been collected was returned to the donators and they then used to put anti Trueau, anti Liberal messages on the sides of all the trucks.
That way you could plant negative anti-Trudeau, anti Liberal party messages everyday for four solid years between elections. The liberal party has lot of links to organized crime. Putting that message and other similar info on the side of trucks might help.
Bill board trucks could become the working mans alternative to mainstream media. Nothing like a huge truck, honking and hurtling down to road to attrack attention to your messsage. Better than a normal bill board and it would cost nothing if the truckers agreed to it.

Tanzania is a very poor country and the bus drivers there already put messages on the sides of their dala dalas (buses). Mostly they are harmless slogans but vehicle messages are already the media of the poor in the Third World, and since Canada is headed that way maybe its a good idea.
This is unrelated to the truck drivers for of media but its a bizarre story. How it works is the Indian bus owners have buses with a legal capacity of 70. They pay the drivers nothing. He makes his money by stuffing say 250 people into the bus. He pays the owner the fare for 70 and pockets the rest.
I have often ridden on dala dalas because you can go the same distance for $2 and 11 hours on the road that costs you $1,500 in air charter fees.
The downside is once the buses are jammed full, you end up with all kinds of goats, chickens and somebody else’s squalling children or wife sitting on your lap.
If there is an accident, the Indian owners pay off the government official in charge and fires the driver. That way the dala dala owner gets off the hook.
He then hires another driver who does exactly the same thing and the cycle starts all over again.
I once met a shaking German tourist in a state of shock who was drinking himself into a stupor at a road side bar. I asked him why. He said his dala dala driver had killed two cars full of other drivers on the road from Mwanza to Dar es Salaam.
Fortunately for the German, his dala dala was much larger than the vehicles the people who got killed in were driving. The driver didn’t even stop to see if anyone got hurt but the German said there were bodies all over.
The driver just kept on hurtling through the night hoping the police would not catch him, and they didn’t because they didn’t have any cars. When people are killed along the highway like this, and there is no family around to recover the bodies, they are left along the roadside and the vultures eat them.

Cottle has recently taken to Twitter to praise the Canadian government for activating the Emergencies Act. The hacker declared that “THEY F***ED AROUND AND FOUND OUT.”
Though his Twitter account has since been locked, he has continued to brag about his GiveSendGo hack in a series of bizarre videos.
In another possible hint of national security state involvement, a non-profit self-styled whistleblower site called Distributed Denial of Secrets, or DDoSecrets, has taken possession of the information supposedly obtained by Cottle, and begun distributing it to mainstream media outlets.
Besides targeting right-wing websites, DDoSecrets has previously been implicated in hacking operations against the Russian government. Its founder, Emma Best, is a vitriolic antagonist of Julian Assange and has gone to extreme lengths to paint him as an asset of the Kremlin.
DDoSecrets’ founder smears Assange, implicates Wikileaks
Before its role in publicizing the GiveSendGo donors list, DDoSecrets published lists of GiveSendGo donors to causes such as the heavily-FBI penetrated Proud Boys, Kyle Rittenhouse, and an effort to fight “voter fraud” in the 2020 US Presidential election.
Clearly aligned with liberal and Democratic Party objectives, DDoSecrets has also been a key hosting ground for terabytes of hacked data on private and public communications between members of militias, neo-Nazi and far-right groups hacked from social networks Gab and Parler, which Cottle claims to have obtained themself.
Data scraped from Parler, including video from the January 6th riot, was subsequently used in the second impeachment trial of Donald Trump in February 20201.
DDoSecrets is a largely opaque outfit. Operated by an almost entirely anonymous or pseudonymous team living across the globe, its founder, Emma Best, is the group’s only public-facing member.
A former WikiLeaks collaborator and prolific Freedom of Information requester, Best’s dissident bona fides seem on the surface to be beyond doubt.
In 2016, after hammering the FBI with seemingly endless FOI demands, the Bureau appears to have considered prosecuting Best for “vexsome” activities.
Five years later, it outright banned Best from filing such requests at all, but the decision was later overturned. Best also played a pivotal role in compelling the CIA to publish its 13 million-strong declassified document archive online in 2017.
Likewise, DDoSecrets’ June 2020 release of 269 gigabytes of sensitive US law enforcement fusion center data – dubbed “BlueLeaks” – exposed all manner of abuses, corruption, criminality and excesses on the part of American police forces, leading to official investigations, and the seizure of servers hosting the information in Germany by local authorities.
So why have mainstream media enthusiastically embraced DDoSecrets while advancing the Western security state’s crusade against WikiLeaks?
The latter organization has faced condemnation, censure, and designation by the CIA as a “non-state hostile intelligence agency,” leading to the Agency hatching plots to kidnap or even kill its founder, Julian Assange, while subjecting his collaborators to intensive surveillance and harassment.
By contrast, in 2019, the same year Julian Assange was arrested in London’s Ecuadorian embassy and hauled off to Belmarsh Prison to face extradition to the US, the federally funded Congressional Research Service recognized Best’s organization as a legitimate “transparency collective” – and not long after the IRS granted it 501(c)(3) non-profit status.
The repeated hailing by mainstream and US government sources of DDoSecrets as a WikiLeaks successor – or even its replacement – is all the more perverse given that Best has repeatedly published private Twitter communications between the Wikileaks collaborators.
The contents of these private discussions were dished out to corporate news outlets like Buzzfeed, which presented them as proof Assange was deliberately seeking to secure the election of Donald Trump, and knowingly collaborating with Russian intelligence to do so.

To the best of my knowledge the truckers raised more money in a few weeks than the Liberal Party of Canada was able to raise for the last election. I know the Liberals were $15 million in debt likely to jews with banking/organized crime links.
The deal was probably we give you the money to get elected and you put Canada far into debt to our banking families which Trudeau has dutifully done. Because of Trudeau Canada now has the worst debt load per capita in the western world and unlike the USA it isn’t financing a huge military.

I assume the donors will get their money back and are now the go to guys for people supporting the truckers. They have the disposable income.
I think they should buy the plastic covers trucker use on their vehicles, filled with anti-Trudeau, anti-Liberal messages which the truckers can parade around for 4 years, until the next election.

If you take a look at the final Winter Olympic medal standing you will see that Norway, with a population of only 4 million, defeated America (population 350 million), Russia (population 170 million), and China (population 1 billion). Norway often winds the winter olympics.
Not only that. If you combine all the countries in the European Union (Population about 350 million – identical to USA) you see these white Christian countries simply devastated everyone in their path with a huge medal count.
This same thing also happened in the last summer games.

Canada Freedom Convoy: GiveSendGo demands FBI probe hackers, alleges ‘highly coordinated’ political doxing
GiveSendGo founder says Freedom Convoy hackers are ‘terrorists’ who are ‘instilling fear’

The founder of the Christian crowdfunding platform GiveSendGo called on the FBI to investigate the hackers who’ve made the names of the donors who contributed to the Canadian Freedom Convoy public as part of what he perceives to be a “well-orchestrated,” politically motivated doxing effort.
GiveSendGo founder Jacob Wells told Fox News Digital that some of the actors who seem to have been taking responsibility for hacking into the Freedom Convoy’s fundraising campaign “have histories in some pretty nefarious attacks.”
Wells has called on the FBI and governmental investigative agencies in Canada to hunt down these hackers amid reports that some private citizens, whose names were leaked online, have been receiving threatening calls and emails targeting their small businesses.
“This seems well orchestrated,” he said Wednesday. “There’s strong political motivations behind this.”
The notorious Canadian hacker Aubrey Cottle, known as Kirtaner, seemed to take partial credit for the cyberattack on the Freedom Convoy 2022’s campaign in a TikTok video circulating online.
Wells did not name Cottle directly when reached by phone, but he did confirm GiveSendGo is pursing legal action.
“This is illegal, and these people should be going to jail,” Wells told Fox News Digital. “The FBI — I mean, it’s surprising that we haven’t heard from any investigative services. We will be reaching out ourselves to just see that there’s some investigation into this. This is completely unacceptable.”
“We haven’t heard, and we will be reaching out because they need to be taking proactive measures themselves to go after people that are engaging in this type of illicit illegal behavior,” Wells continued, referring to the FBI, “Making sure that people are held accountable to it and, you know, we can do what we can do for our platform, but this is why we have regulatory agencies, investigative agencies. This is the role of government to perform these investigations when crimes happen.”
Before the cyberattack against what’s been GiveSendGo’s largest campaign to date, Wells said his company had called in cybersecurity experts in the past to analyze the platform for weaknesses. In light of the recent Freedom Convoy hack, GiveSendGo is bolstering efforts and calling in a group of “ethical hackers” with the mission to “hit our platform as hard as they can, trying to find ways to expose it.”
“We find it unacceptable on our side that this happened and that’s why we’re pouring into bringing on the best. We never want to see this happen, and it’s horrific to us that it has,” Wells told Fox News Digital. “But our message to people is stand strong in the face of adversity. Don’t let this intimidate you by backing down, you only give them more power.”
“The number one priority for us is making our platform secure for people,” he continued. “The target on our back is really big because we do allow freedom and many people, they don’t like that. They’re going to come after us as hard as we need to be better than we’ve ever been before, and we’re bringing in people to make that happen. We’re investing heavily in it.”
Wells pointed to data breaches experienced at Facebook, Experian and other major corporations in the past, as his company is working to strengthen their code against more sophisticated hackers, particularly now as the platform generates more attention during the continuing anti-mandate demonstrations in Ottawa.
“I think this is highly, highly coordinated, very, very sophisticated hacking groups that have had a very, very targeted purpose in what they were trying to do,” Wells said. “I hate the position that people have found themselves in. But this is the moment for them to rally, not be intimidated and say, ‘Yes, I support freedom. Yes, I support peaceful protests 100 percent.’ It’s the bedrock of democracy, and it’s the side that’s opposing this that’s really a group of terrorists. They’re instilling terror. That’s their goal.”
GiveSendGo is still working to verify whether the names of the individuals shared online as supposed donors to the Freedom Convoy 20220 are even accurate. Wells noted that the information could have been exaggerated or manipulated and said the majority of donors to the Freedom Convoy contributed relatively small amounts, with an except few making contributions in the tens of thousands of dollars.
“This has been shown to be a grassroots movement of a bunch of people that love freedom,” he said. “What we’re seeing really is a unique movement, and it is not going to be stopped because of people whose intention is to gain power through fear.”
By contrast, Wells called out larger tech companies, such as Facebook or Twitter, as well as individuals including George Soros and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, “have dumped millions and millions of dollars into organizations for their political benefit.”

The GiveSendGo Freedom Convoy 2022 campaign is still receiving donations which are picking up again.
In good Christian fashion, GiveSendGo doesn’t skim fees or percentages off of a campaign’s donations because the donation amounts go directly to the team running the campaign.
In the Freedom Convoy campaign, the donations are going to an unspecified US bank under the control of the campaign team.
GSG funds their operations with any separate gift donation to them in addition to campaign donations. GSG suggests an optional, very modest 1% “tip” on top of the donation for itself.
Now GSG has some major additional operational costs, such as repairing the hackers’ damage, beefing up their cybersecurity and making IT system improvements.
Stating their intention to sue any and all parties involved, their administrative costs will now include hefty legal fees for prosecuting and pursuing the hacking and everyone involved in it through the courts, including the likely Canadian and US governments, and probably involving private investigators and IT researchers.
I’m sure that GSG will cheerfully refund anyone’s donation upon request who gave to the Freedom Convoy 2022 campaign. They run a free platform for donations, but still have costs of their own.
If you decide donate to this campaign, be generous with a separate gift to GSG to help them with their own business costs.
As for requesting donations back, which people are probably doing, the protesters in Canada are getting arrested, having their vehicles seized and impounded, having their bank accounts frozen and seized, and getting hit with hefty fines, losing their jobs, and any protester needing medical attention just may wind up getting cut off from the socialistic government Canadian health system.
Besides covering various costs for the protesters, including fines and bail amounts, vehicle impound fees, etc, and reimbursements for stolen and damaged property, the Freedom Convoy 2022 campaign funds raised so far could even go towards buying truckers who’ve had their rigs seized new rigs, and new vehicles for anyone else.
The Canadian government can’t seize the Convoy funds from the campaign team in the undisclosed US bank — at least not yet. It would take some shenanigans by the US government to do that.
So Ottawa Police has set up a large no-go red zone downtown near Parliament Hill a couple of days ago, completely fenced off, with about 100 checkpoints. No one goes inside the red zone unless they can prove residency or business inside the zone.
And, as acting police chief Steve Bell told the press, the police were facing a “barrage of resistance” (as in “hold the line”), and had their feelings hurt when unarmed protesters started shoving back and hurling “vitriol” (bitterly abusive expression).
Thus abused, the cops started began beating and mishandling people and arresting them (some taken out to the middle of nowhere and dumped off after arrests), using ARWEN “less-lethal” anti-riot rifles, as well as resorting to acoustic weapons, and possibly radiation weapons turned on the protesters (being used in Australia now).
The PD has impounded a total of 400 vehicles, the last I read. They are being specifically vague as to what kind of vehicles. I’m certain that the vehicles impounded are mostly pickup trucks and smaller vehicles. In any case, Ottawa PD’s intent is to sell off any impounded vehicles to help reimburse the costs to the city run up by the Freedom Convoy protests.
Ottawa Police has threatened all of the tow companies with loss of license, financial freezeout, and seizure of tow rigs if the tow truck operators don’t cooperate with the authorities. The most vulnerable tow truck companies would be ones who have contracts with local police agencies.
So the commandeered tow trucks show up to their slave assignment to haul away police impounded vehicles with drivers masked so as to not to be recognized with the names and identifiers of their tow companies covered over.
I think Ottawa still has a major problem on their hands trying to move or haul off Freedom Convoy’s big rigs from the downtown area near Parliament Hill, which has now been completely blocked off with security fencing into a no-go zone.
There must still be big rigs parked inside the no-go zone. If they had started moving out the big rigs by now, the liars and jackasses of Ottawa Police would have been on Twitter bragging and taunting the Freedom Convoy and the rest of us about it.
It’s a complicated process without the operator’s cooperation to tow a big rig because of the air brakes, which lock when the engine isn’t running to run the internal air compressor and air brake system. If the big rig operators bled off the air brake systems, the big rigs are impossible to move without recharging the air brakes.
It takes a special tow rig with its own compressor, and some complex steps to access and charge the air brake system of the big rig from the outside that needs to be moved safely. And, from what I understand, the process takes several hours to ready a semi-truck just to be hauled away by a big-rig tow.
I read a small notice on social media this morning that Ottawa PD put out a request to other police departments begging for any cops to come to Ottawa that have a Canadian Class DZ license.
A DZ license is a commercial driver’s license for large commercial rigs, or for operating fire and rescue trucks with air brakes.
In other words, part of the licensing is passing the test demonstrating knowledge of a semi-truck’s airbrakes, which includes the airbraking on trailers when they are attached.
Typically in the US, in order to pass the CDL test you will need to demonstrate the following:
1. Properly engage and disengage the truck’s parking brake
2. Properly engage and disengage the truck’s hydraulic brakes
3. Check the truck air brake for air leakage
4. Check the air warning alarm
5. Check the spring brakes activation
6. Check the buildup rate for the air compressor
7. Check the shut-off system for the Air Compressor
8. Ensure the spring break will automatically disengage
9. Properly engage and disengage the truck’s service brakes
Ottawa Police is looking for cops with specialized knowledge of driving a semi-truck.
They are clearly not getting help from any local truck drivers moving any big rigs from Parliament Hill no-go zone.
Truckers rule.

OTTAWA—As police in Ottawa escalated operations for the second day in a row against the trucker protest opposed to the government’s COVID-19 mandates, a spokesperson for the movement, dubbed the “Freedom Convoy,” called for a peaceful withdrawal, saying they are not going to be a “punching bag for law enforcement.”
Speaking at a press conference at the Lord Elgin Hotel in downtown Ottawa on Feb. 19, retired Canadian military officer Tom Marazzo said many truckers feel that the best course of action for them and their families is to withdraw in order to avoid further harm.

“As a movement, we have chosen to peacefully withdraw from the streets of Ottawa. There is nothing to be gained by being brutalized by police,” Marazzo said.
Police began escalating their operation against the protesters in Ottawa on Feb. 18, announcing mid-morning Feb. 20 that they have thus far made 191 arrests and had 57 vehicles towed away. Mounted police and officers on foot advanced on demonstrators, with horses knocking down protesters in some instances.
Some police officers were heavily armed, including with assault rifles and what appeared to be rubber bullet launchers. Some wielded batons and pepper spray, while some smashed truck windows to remove truckers from their vehicles.
“It’s a dark day in our history,” Marazzo said. “Never in life would I believe anyone if they told me that our prime minister would refuse dialogue and choose violence against peaceful protesters.”
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has continued to refuse to meet with the organizers of the trucker convoy, which arrived in Ottawa on Jan. 28 and 29.
The convoy began as a protest by truck drivers opposed to the federal COVID-19 vaccine mandate for their cross-border travel. It turned into a much larger movement after many Canadians from across the country began joining in or voicing their support for ending the various COVID-19 mandates and restrictions.
Prior to the convoy’s arrival in Ottawa, at a press conference on Jan. 26 Trudeau dismissed the protesters as a “small fringe minority … who are holding unacceptable views.”
On Feb. 14, Trudeau became the first prime minister in Canada to invoke the Emergencies Act, aiming to use it as a means to quash the protest in Ottawa and similar ones in other parts of the country.
“The Emergencies Act will be used to strengthen and support law enforcement agencies at all levels across the country. This is about keeping Canadians safe, protecting people’s jobs, and restoring confidence in our institutions,” Trudeau said at a press conference on Feb. 14.
“The police will be given more tools to restore order in places where public assemblies can constitute illegal and dangerous activities such as blockades and occupations as seen in Ottawa, Ambassador Bridge, and elsewhere.”
Ottawa police called the protest in Ottawa “unlawful.”
Several of the Freedom Convoy organizers have been arrested, including Chris Barber and Tamara Lich on Feb. 17. Daniel Bulford, a former Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer who was coordinating security for the protest, was arrested on Feb. 18 and later released without charge.
Marazzo, who isn’t aware whether there is a warrant for his arrest, said the protest in Ottawa has not engaged in any illegal activity.
“There was no damage. There was a little inconvenient noise. I’m sorry, but we’re here fighting for all the people that actually hate us too,” he said.
The retired officer criticized what he described as the “mainstream media” that has portrayed the protesters as being “anti-government,” noting that the convoy organizers have been trying to establish a dialogue with the federal government but have had no success.
“I want to be very clear that our intent has always been, and always will be, to talk to the official government of Canada,” he said. “I have stood at this podium, I have done other media events where I have outlined a plan, and I’ve said ‘I would like to talk to you.’”

During a press conference on Feb. 17, Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino diverted his reply when a Francophone reporter asked whether the government has received intelligence that weapons were being brought to Ottawa or were already in Ottawa with the convoy, something the minister had been “insinuating for days,” according to the reporter
“I am not saying that there is an intelligence saying there are weapons in Ottawa,” Mendicino said. “There are public reports showing that there are indications that there [are] extremist ideological positions and there is a link between the blockades.”
He added that “there is a similarity in the rhetoric emerging in social media and elsewhere.”
At another press conference on Feb. 17, Bruce Pardy, law professor and executive director of Rights Probe, said Mendicino’s reply meant that the basis for the government’s actions was “rhetoric.”
“This is a government that has invoked an emergency statute on its own admission on the basis of something that somebody has said,” Pardy said. “They have no actual violence occurring. They have no intelligence about threats of violence occurring.”
Marazzo said the attempt by the federal government to “intimidate” the Freedom Convoy is futile as it is a grassroots movement, which if removed, “others will fill their roles.”
“You could say that we inspired people to actually take action, but we certainly were not giving any direction,” he said. “These movements are just organic. They pop up where people want to get up and do something because they’re fed up after two years of being treated like this.”
Marazzo said legal counsel and support for those injured and those being arrested by police is currently being organized. He added that “the truckers will be initiating a charter challenge seeking to have the court strike down the unconstitutional vaccine mandates that discriminate against us all.”
“I never thought I’d see the day when law enforcement officers would be arresting citizens for the crime of exercising their charter rights and freedoms to free assembly and free speech,” he said.
Marazzo also confirmed that his bank account has been frozen and credit cards cancelled. His spouse’s credit score also dropped 109 points on Feb. 18 even though she was not with him in Ottawa, he said.
At a press conference on Feb. 14, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland said that under the Emergencies Act, the government has authorized banks to cut off services to both individuals and business clients who they suspect are aiding the blockades.
In a media briefing on Feb. 19, Interim Chief Steve Bell of the Ottawa Police Service said the Ottawa police will pursue the protesters even after the protest is over.

He added that all members of Parliament at the federal level have “failed us.”
“We elected these people to represent our best interest, but not to lord over us like kings and queens,” he said.

Ottawa Police Chief Steve Bell said during a press conference over the weekend that Canadian law enforcement officials would continue cracking down on those who participated in the trucker protests well after the protests have ended.
The revelation came in response to a reporter asking if there were going to be “repercussions down the road” for the protesters, even if they had retreated and gone home.
“Are you going to be sort of actively pursuing the people that you’ve been sort of documenting and filming who are still out there protesting?” the reporter asked. “What are your plans after this after the protest is over?”
“It’s a great question. And the simple answer is yes,” Ball responded. “If you are involved in this protest, we will actively look to identify you and follow up with financial sanctions and criminal charges.
“Absolutely. This investigation will go on for months to come. It has many, many different streams both from a federal financial level, from a provincial licensing level, from a criminal code level, from a municipal breach of court order breach of court injunction level, it will be a complicated and time consuming investigation that will go on for a period of time.
“You have my commitment that that investigation will continue and we will hold people accountable for taking our streets over.”

Amidst turmoil going on in Canada, Herrell said on Saturday that she is pushing a bill that would provide asylum to those persecuted by the Canadian government.
“I am introducing legislation that would temporarily grant asylum to innocent Canadian protesters who are being persecuted by their own government. We cannot be silent as our neighbors to the north are treated so badly,” Herrell said in a statement on Twitter.

I’m old enough to remember when the Romanian communist president Nicolae Ceaușescu, who ruled Romania with an iron fist for 25 years, and his equally vicious and brutal wife Elena were sentenced to death by a 10-person civilian-military tribunal. The revolution, the short but very bloody civil war, and their later executions were broadcast live on news channels.
A few days after the popular revolution that overthrew him in December 1989, they were executed by firing squad at a military base on December 25.
A few months later, France was the first to broadcast the early video footage of the couple’s actual execution. It eventually made the rounds on American TV, and finally ABC did an hour documentary.
And, MP Tehres would have been an 11-year old boy in communist Romania when this occurred, so he remembers, too. The Ceaușescu execution was broadcast live on Romanian TV at the time, and a couple of European countries picked up the live feed.

Five days before his overthrow, Nicolae Ceaușescu had ordered the military to put down a revolt in the western Romanian city of Timisoara.
Triggered by government’s attempt to evict an ethnic Hungarian pastor who they accused of inciting ethnic hatred, the Timisoara uprising quickly became a broader anti-government demonstration. News of the government’s crackdown was not shared in the heavily-censored press, but quickly spread through western-operated radio stations such as Radio Free Europe.
With unrest increasing, Ceaușescu addressed a staged demonstration from a balcony of the Central Committee of the Romanian Communist Party in Bucharest on 21 December. Despite the presence of the secret police known as the Securitate, the crowd starting at the back began to heckle him with chants of ‘Ti-mi-soa-ra! Ti-mi-soa-ra!’
Having failed to calm the crowd, Ceaușescu was moved back inside the building by his bodyguards. The speech had been televised around Romania and the video feed was only cut after the start of the crowd’s protest. It was clear to anyone watching that something monumental was unfolding in the capital city.
Over the next few hours the streets of Bucharest filled with protesters. Unable to regain control, the following morning Ceausescu and his wife fled the Central Committee building by helicopter.
Their pilot soon faked a threat of anti-aircraft fire and landed, leading to the later arrest of the Ceaușescus.
They were subjected to a show trial on Christmas Day and found guilty of crimes including genocide and illegally gathering wealth. Having been sentenced to death they were quickly taken outside and shot.

President Vladimir Putin has ordered the Russian military to “secure the peace” in the newly recognized Donetsk and Lugansk republics, which were formerly considered to be part of Ukraine.
Moscow officially recognized the independence of the two breakaway regions on Monday.
Putin has instructed the Defense Ministry to send peacekeepers into the Donbass, while telling the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to establish diplomatic relations with the states.

On the morning of the 21st of December, 1989, Romanian General Secretary Nicolae Ceaușescu was in a foul mood.
The Berlin Wall had fallen, and Mikhail Gorbachev and George H.W. Bush had recently announced the end of the Cold War, making the end of Ceaușescu’s rule inevitable, though he couldn’t see this yet.
Worse, his security leaders had just failed to violently put down protests in the city of Timisoara, a fact that enraged his wife Elena. “You should have fired on them, and had they fallen, you should have taken them and shoved them into a cellar,” she said. “Weren’t you told that?”
Long one of the world’s most vicious dictators, Ceaușescu’s most recent plan for winning over the heartland was forcing half the country’s villagers to destroy their own homes — with pick-axes and hammers, if they couldn’t afford a bulldozer — and packing them into project apartments in new “agro-industrial towns,” for a “better future.”
