“Let’s say a Democrat, a Joe Biden, or Hillary Clinton had immediately succeeded me, and the economy suddenly has 3% unemployment, I think we would have consolidated the sense that, ‘Oh, actually these policies that Obama put in place worked,’” Barack stated.
Obama then claimed President Trump benefited from his administration’s “economic stability and growth” despite “interrupting” their policies.
“That clouds what I think would have been a more impactful shift in political views towards Democrats as a result of my presidency,” he said.
Barack is hopeful the Biden administration can implement some of the far-left agenda he couldn’t get done in the eight years he had in the White House, saying, “If they’re successful over the next four years, as I think they will be, I think that will have an impact.”

Twenty Years of the Afghanistan Occupation Ends: A New Phase of Struggle Begins September 4, 2021

In 2007, I travelled throughout Afghanistan with an Afghan-Canadian research partner,(1) and we asked more than one hundred Afghans: What do you think about the international intervention in Afghanistan?
It was as evident then as it has been proven now that a critical mass of Afghans perceived the invasion and occupation of Afghanistan as illegitimate, unnecessary, and serving the interests of the occupying forces.
Although the interests of some privileged Afghans were served by the US led occupation, many Afghans wanted the occupation to end even if a withdrawal of US and NATO forces could likely result in Taliban forces retaking control of the government. Many of the Afghans told us that ending warfare was preferable to the continued violence of occupation.
The mythology of invading Afghanistan to liberate Afghan women and girls obfuscated the reality that the US-led occupation force used the warlords of the United Islamic Front for the Salvation of Afghanistan to oust the Taliban, and these same warlords would later provide a substantive portion of the leadership of the occupation regime.
The United Islamic Front moniker was translated into English as the Northern Alliance to make the warlords more palatable to those in the West who would be appalled by the misogyny and the brutality of their war crimes and regressive adherence to Islamic law.
In reality, the warlords of the United Islamic Front differ little from the Taliban leaders. Apostasy, homosexuality, and adultery, among a litany of other “crimes”, remained punishable by death or severe violent punishment in the “reformed” Islamic laws of the US-and-NATO-backed Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
Although rarely reported in Western media, US State Department reports throughout the occupation confirm numerous cases of Afghans charged, detained, and punished under these regressive laws.
Concern for the Future
We all must be concerned for the future welfare of Afghans, especially Afghan women and girls, and be prepared to hold Taliban leaders to account for any possible crimes against humanity they may commit.
However, considering that the members of the US-led coalition, including Canada, handsomely rewarded brutal warlords of the United Islamic Front, such as Rashid Dostum and Ismail Khan, and continued to rely on their militias to maintain the occupation, I can only assume many Afghans may remain sceptical of support coming from their former occupiers.
[US-led coalition also deliberately turned a blind eye to the widespread systematic abuse of bachi bazi by elite, security and government pederasts, and the exploitation, trafficking, and prostitution of young boys. -Kj]
Despite the handwringing evident in most news reports about the bleak future for Afghans, I do see a glimmer of hope for the future. The rapid Taliban takeover, while distressing, was inevitable; that it occurred rapidly with little opposition from government forces is positive in that it may quickly end the horrific warfare that has affected generations of Afghans.
Home-Grown Resistance to the Taliban
I am hopeful when I remember that leaders of various Afghan socialist organizations told me that, despite their antithetical ideals, they grudgingly supported the regressive forces of the Taliban in opposition to the US/NATO occupation.
Nonetheless, these leaders were clear that on day one of the end of foreign occupation their resistance would focus on the Taliban. I am also hopeful remembering that leaders of various Afghan women’s groups told me that once warfare ended, they could refocus their resistance against the Taliban.
Afghan Women’s Rights activists stressed that, confronted by the violence of the occupation, their primary concerns of securing shelter, food, and water completely consumed their time and energy. If the Taliban regime does bring a respite from warfare, if not actual positive peace, these Women’s Rights activists will immediately refocus on resisting the Taliban.
Some Women’s Rights Activists pointed to Iran as an example where a brutally repressive misogynistic regime seized power. Within a generation, Iranian women, on their own and without foreign aid, opened political space themselves to claim their rights to education and participation in society.
Compare, for example, the current rights of Iranian women who are today fully engaged in Iranian society to the plight of Saudi women, despite, or more likely because of, the massive amount of Western support for the Saudi regime.
Despite the rhetoric of Western media hype that highlighted the benefits enjoyed by a few privileged Afghans, twenty years of occupation and warfare stalled progress for many more Afghan women and girls.
I’m hopeful their energies will now be directed to resisting misogyny and opening up political space for themselves as their Iranian sisters did.

BREAKING: Military Overthrows Guinean President Following Rigged 2020 Election

Guinean special forces have arrested President Alpha Conde, months after he allegedly committed massive election fraud during the country’s October 2020 presidential election.
Images and video clips have emerged online of President Alpha Conde detained by a Guinean special forces unit. Conde appears to be reclining in a relaxed manner on a couch, dressed in casual clothing as he is surrounded by soldiers.
Shortly after this, the head of the Guinean special forces and the leader of the effort to oust Conde, Colonel Mamady Doumbouya, gave a speech to the people of Guinea, where he condemned the “trampling of citizens’ rights”, “endemic corruption” and the “instrumentalization of justice”.
Colonel Doumbouya pledged not to “repeat the mistakes of the past”, referring to the failures of the Guinean political establishment.
The detention of President Conde comes after the October 2020 Guinean presidential election, where Conde’s center-left Guinean People’s Assembly party, the official Guinean sister party of the Democratic Party in the United States, was accused by opposition leaders of engaging in massive election fraud.
“We reject the results proclaimed by the [election commission] and continue the demonstrations to protest against the ongoing hold-up. In this fight, let’s avoid following President Conde in the ethnicization of the conflict which is only political,” said opposition figure Cellou Dalein Diallo. “Law and victory are on our side!”
Although Conde presented himself as a champion of democracy, he presided over mass crackdowns on political opponents, arresting and using force to disperse crowds of anyone who questioned the election results.
Following the rigged election, Conde received strong support from the People’s Republic of China. Guinea is a key exporter of iron ore and bauxite to China, which are critical for the manufacturing of steel and aluminium respectively.
According to a report by The Guardian, in his private presidential office, Conde kept a photo of himself with former U.S. President Barack Obama alongside a bust of China’s Chairman Mao Zedong, indicating his deep admiration for the two fellow leftist leaders.
The events in Guinea follow a similar situation in Myanmar, where the military overthrew the government of another Obama ally, Aung San Suu Kyi, following an allegedly rigged election there.

I’m still studying the Taliban and what they’ve accomplished over the years, particularly in the remote and rural areas that they controlled and gradually took over as the unrecognized Islamic Emirates of Afghanistan.
This is the first time in at least 40 years, I believe, that Afghanistan has been under the rule of one government.
At least 70% of the Afghanistan provincial population lives outside of the urban and semi-urban areas, which were largely under the government of the US-backed Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. The rural & remote provincials are far more traditional and religious than the “moderate, democratic, liberal Muslims” of the large cities.
In a lot of ways, the socio-cultural divide in Afghanistan mirrors the growing divide between Red States & Blue States, between conservative working class “Republican” deplorables and liberal “Democrat” urban elites, the ultra-wealthy and the poor.
About 8 years ago, Pew Research Center ran polls among various Arab & Muslim populations about Sharia, or Islamic religious law. One of the questions posed was about making Sharia law the law of the land, to which 99% of Afghans replied that it should be the official legal code of their country.
The media has always referred to feminists, secularists and “moderate Muslim” Afghans on matters pertaining to Afghanistan. Obviously from the Pew survey, this construes a very skewed image of Afghan society, which is largely devout and supports Islamic law.
I deeply respect Taliban overall dedication to their faith and religious moral and ethical law, asceticism, and austerity, and their humility before God, and their discipline over the past 20 years. Taliban is not just a bunch of jihadist Afghan fighters-mujihadeen from the villages — there are political-religious, economic & financial wings which involve years of study in their various disciplines.
Taliban is just not the same hard-core Taliban they were in the 1990s. There are now educated, English-, German-, and French-speaking, tech-savve, “Gen-Z” who belong to Taliban, which now spans two and three generations.
For example, Taliban in areas they previously controlled, form commissions to study and gradually build up programs, seeded in the areas they did control which suffered from chronic war, broken and destroyed infrastructure, ruined farmlands, and populations of widows and orphans.
Most of the warfare was conducted in the countryside. There is probably not a rural family in Afghanistan, particularly under US controlled areas, which did not suffer the murder of non-combatant husbands, sons, and brothers by US and Afghanistan republican troops, and many relatives killed as “collateral damage” in drone attacks.
In the Emirate areas, these are the commissions that Taliban set up and organized:

This is true. Whole villages and tribes, sick of war and the abuses and excesses of the Kabul government and US/NATO forces came over to Taliban government after the leadership and chieftains met with Taliban representatives, who offered them peace and security.
For months, Afghans in the local bureaucracies, armed forces, police and security services were secretly going over to Taliban, or else out in the field surrendering by the dozens, even hundreds with all of their weapons, vehicles, equipment and gear after conducting.
The Emirate also wrote in July on their now banished website:
“Even as the amalgamation process of opposition fighters with the Islamic Emirate has picked up pace across the country with over 150 districts falling under the complete control of Mujahideen and a large number of military bases along with all its weaponry, vehicles and equipment handed over, thus contributing to Mujahideen gaining further military strength and upper hand on the battlefield as well as expanding their control over more parts of the country, yet in spite of these striking developments and advances, the Islamic Emirate continues to remain committed to the process of dialogue and understanding, and believes it is better that the Afghan issue be resolved through talks.
Bloodlessly liberating district after district, and provincial capitals of Nimroz, Jowzjan, Sar-e-Pul, Takhar, Kunduz and Samangan provinces without any military resistance and its people saw the Taliban’s establishment of peace, law, and justice without battle, made it very clear that the quisling Kabul government had lost all public support, and that is what pushed the Taliban from strength to strength, until finally they got to Kabul.
Simply put, Afghan forces no longer want to sacrifice themselves for the survival of the corrupt and vile Weimar-Kabul puppet government.
Wikipedia gives an outline of the overall ANDSF organization which just went poof, the men vanishing, leaving all of the uniforms, hand weapons, tactical weapons, tanks, artillery, armored vehicles, military aircraft, etc behind on the streets and garrisons, except for what was used to transport the government and military heads out of the country, such as Tajikstan.
And for the record, all of the “US military property” that should have been destroyed actually belonged to the Afghan government, not the US, legally transferred as military aid approved by Congress and the White House.
There’s a difference between “US-owned” and “US-made”. All of the US military aid transfers to Afghanistan were of older generation and “surplus” models of Blackhawks, armored vehicles, tanks, fighter aircraft, etc. over the past 20 years. And as for it being “$83 billion…$85 billion…$90 billion” (soon to be $100 billion) of “US military equipment left behind”, that’s not true, either.
While there was (on paper) $83 billion plowed into ANDSF, only $30 billion or so of it was actual durable military equipment, vehicles, and, gear, the rest of it went to consumables such as uniforms and boots, tactical vests and personal equipment, food, ammunition and ordnance, and various supplies, fuel costs, police and military salaries, bureaucratic operations and civilian worker pay, and whatever millions the corrupt top tribal warlords-turned-generals and the Kabul regime skimmed off.
There are currently dozens of Afghan military aircraft still parked at a Tajikstan airport, and Taliban is trying to get it all eventually ferried back as being national property belonging to the Afghan people. I suppose they have to come up with enough qualified pilots.
The Marines didn’t do any favors at Kabul airport, either, as they destroyed not only military aircraft and equipment which actually belonged to the Afghan state not the US, they also destroyed the civilian side of the airport including its radar, avionics, computers, digital passenger ticket and processing equipment once the US military gave up control of the airport.
Turkey, which as part of the NATO mission in charge of security of the airport for the past six years, and has some sort of temporary current role in getting the airport back into operations pending further negotiations, advised two weeks ago that the airport would be closed to civil aviation until serious, but unspecified, repairs could be made to the facilities and the tarmack and civil aviation could resume.
In short, the Marines destroyed civilian air traffic control operations for the international airport that Taliban, now the defacto government, is responsible for. About the 18th of August, the FAA imposed a NOTAM (notice to airmen) restricting US civilian commercial flights to Afghanistan or even through its airspace stating that the airport was under US military control.
After the US military vacated the airport, the last plane out lifted off at 23:59 hours on August 30, 2021, Kabul international airport was left without any air traffic control and the systems to do it with. In other words, Afghanistan air space was uncontrolled, and all international air traffic advised to fly around it by various aviation authorities.
Taliban began negotiations with Qatar about assuming airport operations for Kabul, and to a lesser degree with Turkey, which had been in charge of airport security, shortly after Kabul fell.
Afghanistan has four international airports, three of which were crippled with the collapse of the Kabul regime, while Kabul functioned somewhat for about two weeks under US military control for the purpose of evacuation flights, until the US finally flew out, abandoning the airport altogether after disabling the civilian sector, the main part, of the airport.
Qatar has been flying in daily humanitarian aid. There were sporadic local flights from India, Turkey, Qatar, and more recently Tajikstan, largely on visual flight rules as Qatar technicians worked to get air traffic control back in working order, and Afghan airlines is just beginning domestic flights again from inside the country.
Qatar aviation technicians have been working since August 31 to get Kabul airport back up and running, including repair of the main runway. They were hoping to open the airport to international civilian traffic by the end of this week.
And, a lot rides on airport employees and air traffic controllers returning to work as well at the four international and the other domestic airports throughout the country. Until Afghanistan’s civilian aviation system becomes fully staffed and functional again, I would guess that most international flights will be funneled out of Kabul from the other three international airports.
I read today that some 200 Afghan-American dual citizens and Afghan visa holders were finally able to fly out of Afghanistan on a charter flight, so maybe that will mean the last of the squawking about “Americans being held hostage by the Taliban”.
Now that Qatar techs are getting the international airport up and running, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Taliban caretaker government, which is of course responsible for Afghanistan’s air space and international and domestic flight safety and operations, appears to be sticking their commitments to “allow safe passage for foreign nationals and Afghans with travel documents, including permitting flights currently ready to fly out of Afghanistan to agreed-upon onward destinations,” as Blinken repeats the Taliban’s own words, trying to sound tough.
A lot of war-mongering conservatives griped and blustered about the US having to kowtow to the Taliban which commenced responsibility for controlling Afghanistan civilian air space and aviation at midnight, August 31, but the unspoken facts are, Kabul airport was rendered completely unsafe for operations for close to two weeks, and the Emirate, in its representation by the Taliban, is totally responsible for aviation authority and air safety now.
At first the Taliban’s strategy, and commitment to the US, was to remain outside the city limits of Kabul until the US troops withdrew at the end of August, a position of strength that the Taliban expected to be able to negotiate from with the central government.

“It’s too early to tell how Taliban 2.0 will play out in the dizzyingly complex, emerging Eurasian integration chessboard. But internally, a wiser, more traveled, social media-savvy Taliban seem aware they cannot allow themselves to repeat the dire 1996-2001 mistakes.” [Unquote]
It seems that Taliban over the years has jettisoned the very radical Wahabi/Salafist ideology of the 1990s, much of which involved foreign Islamic input. Saudi Arabia was funding some of the Pakistani madrassas that the Taliban hail from. Over the very recent Shi’ite holy days of mourning, Taliban, who are Sunni, not only stood guard at the Shi’ite mosques, but some of the leaders joined in the prayers and mourning rites as well.
Taliban announced that their ministerial appointments is for the “caretaker” or interim government, which strongly hints that there may be a constitution to be hammered out, and constitutional government forthcoming.
Taliban never expected that the entire Kabul regime and bureaucracy, and organized structure of the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) to collapse and then vanish like smoke the way that it did. They were willing to wait on the outskirts of Kabul, conduct meetings and discussions, and typically the Afghan way, negotiate new government and power structures.
If it all surprised the US, it was twice as surprising to Taliban that they suddenly had the entire country in their hands with the collapse of Kabul. Watching the Taliban leadership’s reactions, they seemed dumbfounded, and then decided that it all came as a gift from God, including the incredible amount of police and military gear abandoned by the old Afghan regime.
They’ve been given responsibility for an entire country without power-sharing with the old existing regime, but then that crutch was taken away. It’s been interesting to read some of Taliban leadership’s own responses — having been such a great responsibility by God, larger than they initially expected, they fervently hope to live up to what God expects of them.
Sputnik reported back in June, when only about 70% of the country was under the Emirate flag, that

There are thousands of bereaved families who are waiting to be registered,” Syed Azeem Agha, a spokesman for the the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s (IEA) Commission of the Affairs of Indigent, Orphans and Disabled, told Sputnik.
He says that the Taliban machinery also takes care of “vocational training” of the children so they are able to support the economy in the future.
“We have developed programmes for the orphans and those rendered disabled by war so that they can acquire skills to become tailors, mechanics, pharmacists and carpenters among other vocations. We want these people to be economically self-sufficient,” Agha states.
Now, the entire country is in their hands, which includes care for the families, orphans, and disabled of the former enemy regime’s military and security forces as well.
I wish the Afghanistan people well and God’s healing and blessings for them without outside, especially, US interference. They certainly deserve it. America never did right by them.

Taliban Allow Americans, Other Foreigners to Fly Out of Kabul
Frightened families, some surfacing after weeks in hiding, board first flight out since U.S. withdrawal
KABUL—Afghanistan’s Taliban authorities allowed 113 Americans, U.S. permanent residents and holders of other Western passports to leave the country on a flight to Qatar on Thursday, the first such departure by air since U.S. forces withdrew last month.
While Qatari officials initially said the Qatar Airways Boeing 777 that landed in Kabul on Thursday afternoon would carry 200 people, not all of those who had been scheduled to fly managed to reach the airport on time. There will be another such flight on Friday, Qatar’s special envoy Mutlaq al-Qahtani said at a joint airport press conference with the chief Taliban spokesman, Zabiullah Mujahid.
Thursday’s flight marked the resumption of international passenger links between the Afghan capital and the rest of the world, with dozens of Qatari special forces guarding the tarmac and providing security inside the international terminal during check-in and screening.
U.S. troops had disabled and destroyed some of the airport’s flight control equipment as they departed on Aug. 30, and Qatari technical teams spent the past several days making the airport operational for daytime flights. “Kabul airport is fully up and running,” Mr. Qahtani said.
Americans and others who boarded Thursday’s flight were almost exclusively of Afghan origin, many of whom had come to Afghanistan to visit relatives during the summer and then became stranded once the Afghan government precipitously collapsed mid-August.

Some people had medical issues, others chose to remain with family members who couldn’t leave, and a few needed more time to make a decision about whether to leave, he said.
Other passengers included citizens of Canada, Germany, the U.K. and Ukraine, a person familiar with the flight’s details said.
The passengers said they had received word of the flight only hours in advance, as they were summoned Thursday morning to the Serena Hotel in the heart of Kabul.
From there, Qatari diplomats and soldiers facilitated the transportation of the passengers to the airport in a convoy of minibuses, one of them with a bullet hole through the windshield. Once at the international terminal, passengers were divided by nationality.

Case in point: Biden’s own CDC says that the vaccines don’t prevent you from getting the virus or transmitting it, but do protect you from severe cases and death.
If this is so, then wouldn’t it mean that the vaccinated are actually a threat to the unvaccinated – since they move around freely with their vaxx passports and whatnot, and spread the virus to people more likely to get sick and die – and not the other way around?
But since that would make Biden completely wrong, it’s a hatefact and you’ll get banned for pointing it out, just like Alex Berenson. Or Trump.
It should be clear by now that this isn’t about vaccines or the virus, though, but about power. Biden has openly admitted he doesn’t care his measures are unconstitutional (see the CDC evictions moratorium).

ARCHPASTORAL REFLECTION ON CURRENT COVID CRISIS

To Whom It May Concern,
I am compelled by my conscience as Bishop of the faithful entrusted to me, to address by way of this open letter my deep concerns regarding the situation our Nation has spiraled into during this current health crisis, which we fear is becoming more of a crisis of humanity than that of health itself.
The Latin proverb Homo homini lupus est, “A man is a wolf to another man,” has tragically found its new form and expression in today’s crisis as: “Homo homini virus est! Man has become a virus to his fellow man” in this ever-changing world and dystopian looking society.
This is not hyperbole; it is happening right now around us. Just look at our workplaces, formerly places of collegiality and friendship, now rapidly digressing into segregation, suspicion, bullying and ridicule of those who have not yet received the green ticket!
A vivid example of this was presented to me by one of our faithful in possession of a medical exemption, who has been labelled a health risk by their colleagues and has ever since been treated with contempt and discrimination, as if they were a leper, a walking virus.
This type of behaviour would previously be deemed unacceptable, however in the ‘new normal’ of today’s dystopian society it is subtly encouraged through media hysteria which is fueling mass psychosis, in which fear and anxiety, mistrust and segregation have become the new Gospel!
The policy of “no jab, no job”, has had and continues to have an impact on the well-being and mental health of many who feel that they have been pushed into a corner and forced to take the vaccine without the right to informed consent and right of conscience.
This should not be happening anywhere in the world, especially in a democracy such as Australia. People have a legitimate right to be concerned and to ask questions regarding these particular vaccines, as they are still dubbed to be in their clinical trial phase, as recently stated by the Australian Minister for Health.
These measures, or workplace policies, have created many social and existential anxieties that have impacted the community.
No blackmail or coercion, including that of vaccination is morally acceptable. Without freedom of choice there is no humanity. Orthodox Christianity professes that the human person is created in the image and likeness of God and that the central quality or attribute of this Image is the gift of free will, the ability to make an informed and free choice.
For example, following Christ in the Orthodox Church is ontologically significant because following Christ leads to formation, i.e., human transformation and completion = perfection = salvation. However, through the lens of Orthodox soteriology this is a synergetic act(ion) which entails a free disposition on humanity’s part.
Christ himself says: “If anyone DESIRES to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me” (Matthew 16:24). Christ leaves us with a choice, does not cancel out human freedom to choose, does not impose salvation.
St Iranaeus also echoes this: “…because God made man a free agent from the beginning, possessing his own power, even as he does his own soul, to obey the behests of God voluntarily, and not by compulsion of God. For there is no coercion with God, but a good will towards us is present with Him continually. And therefore does He give good counsel to all. In man, as well as the angels, He has placed the power of choice…” (St. Iranaeus, Against the Heresies, IV, 37, I).
This should not be equivocated to an anti-vax position, but rather one of informed consent, also considering any ethical concerns that those of faith might have.
Orthodox Christians, for example, have a moral issue accepting vaccines that have been developed from cell lines that were obtained from tissues harvested from aborted fetuses. The issue of ethical concerns for such vaccines was raised last year by some of the major Christian jurisdictions in Australia, such as the Roman Catholic, the Anglican and Greek Orthodox Archdioceses.
Therefore, the moral concerns of Christians should be taken into consideration, as they are not simply subjective views, but derive from the fundamental positions and core beliefs of the Church. That is why our faithful may appeal to this, our Archpastoral letter, and other statements of the Orthodox Church as to why they are unable to receive these particular vaccines.
I would also like to mention as a great concern the alarming prospects of the introduction of Vaccine Passports. I believe that this will lead to a two-tiered society, it will divide people, families, and friends and will provide a basis for acts of discrimination and ostracization.
In relation to this, media reports have also mentioned that “Churches will be required to use Vaccination Certificate Systems for Vaccinated-ONLY Worship”?!? This is totally foreign to the Spirit of the Church, to the Ecclesiology, the Holy Gospel and Tradition of the Church.
We could never accept or adopt such a practice! It would entail discrimination against those who are members of the same Body, the Body of Christ, His Holy Church. How can we go against the Gospel? Against Christ who exclaims: “Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Mathew 11:28).
We cannot accept the polarisation of the faithful, it goes against the very nature of the Church and we will not be implementing this system in our churches.
The Church embraces all who seek Christ, those vaccinated and unvaccinated. It will seek to heal a wounded and heavy-laden society, not inflict new wounds and burdens.
I pray that Christ illumines and heals us all, this society immersed in the darkness of sorrow and anxiety, that we may perceive our fellow neighbours, not as a virus, but as those fashioned in His image and likeness.

White supremacist praise of the Taliban takeover concerns US officials
(CNN)As the United States-backed government in Afghanistan fell to the Taliban and US troops raced to leave the country, White supremacist and anti-government extremists have expressed admiration for what the Taliban accomplished, a worrying development for US officials who have been grappling with the threat of domestic violent extremism.
That praise has also been coupled with a wave of anti-refugee sentiment from far-right groups, as the US and others rushed to evacuate tens of thousands of people from Afghanistan by the Biden administration’s August 31 deadline.
Several concerning trends have emerged in recent weeks on online platforms commonly used by anti-government, White supremacist and other domestic violent extremist groups, including “framing the activities of the Taliban as a success,” and a model for those who believe in the need for a civil war in the US, the head of the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Intelligence and Analysis, John Cohen, said on a call Friday with local and state law enforcement, obtained by CNN.
Cohen said on the call that DHS has also analyzed discussions centering on “the great replacement concept” a conspiracy theory that immigrants, in this case the relocation of Afghans to the US, would lead to a loss of control and authority by White Americans.
“There are concerns that those narratives may incite violent activities directed at immigrant communities, certain faith communities, or even those who are relocated to the United States,” he added.
Far-right extremist communities have been invigorated by the events in Afghanistan, “whether by their desire to emulate the Taliban or increasingly violent rhetoric about ‘invasions’ by displaced Afghans,” according to recent analysis from SITE Intelligence Group, an American non-governmental organization that tracks online activity of White supremacist and jihadist organizations.
Some people are commending the Taliban’s takeover as “a lesson in love for the homeland, for freedom, and for religion,” SITE said in its weekly bulletin on far-right extremists.
Neo-Nazi and violent accelerationists — who hope to provoke what they see as an inevitable race war, which would lead to a Whites-only state — in North America and Europe are praising the Taliban for its anti-Semitism, homophobia, and severe restrictions on women’s freedom, SITE found.
For example, a quote taken from the Proud Boy to Fascist Pipeline Telegram channel, said: “These farmers and minimally trained men fought to take back their nation back from globohomo. They took back their government, installed their national religion as law, and executed dissenters … If white men in the west had the same courage as the Taliban, we would not be ruled by Jews currently,” SITE found.
“Globohomo” is a derogatory word used to insult “globalists,” the term used by conspiracy promoters to describe their enemy (the evil global elite who control the media, finance, political system etc), according to SITE.
For months, US officials have warned that domestic violent extremism is the greatest threat to the homeland, pointing to the January 6 attack at the US Capitol as a stark illustration of the potential for violence that can occur when conspiracy theories and false narratives flourish.
A significant part of the current threat environment comes from individuals who are influenced by what they see online, Cohen told CNN in an interview last month.
At this time, Anti-Defamation League’s Center on Extremism, is not seeing any observed credible threats, or mobilization of online extremist activity, but is concerned that the current online rhetoric highlights ideological concerns and possible threats to public safety, said Joanna Mendelson, associate director of the center.
Extremists often take current events and weave them into their own narrative and worldview, said Mendelson, which is what is taking place in the aftermath of the withdrawal from Afghanistan and amid the humanitarian and military crisis.
“They’re taking the same kind of core tropes and themes, and kind of bigoted views of the world, and injecting them into this current event,” Mendelson told CNN.
There has been a lot of Islamophobia and xenophobia echoed by White supremacists and anti-Muslim activists, claiming that public safety and national security is threatened because they see refugees through a stereotypical lens as being dangerous criminals or terrorists, according to Mendelson.
A core conspiracy guiding White supremacist ideology is the “the great replacement,” the belief that ultimately, the White race is facing its ultimate extinction, she said.
There is also “almost this infatuation and admiration” of the Taliban, Mendelson said, pointing to the notion that an under-equipped insurgent group could successfully defeat a global power.
“The fact that the Taliban at the end of the day could claim victory over such a world power is something that White supremacists are taking note of,” she said.
Megan Squire, a professor of Computer Science at Elon University, who researches US-based domestic extremist groups, has seen three main Afghanistan-related trends emerge in platforms used by a range of far-right groups, such as White supremacists, neo-Nazis and Proud Boys-style forums.
The first narrative to emerge among the extreme far-right groups was “reveling in the humiliation” of the US withdrawal from Afghanistan as images emerged of Taliban fighters taking over city after city, along with US equipment left behind, Squire said, both celebrations of defeat and feelings humiliation as Americans.
When one goes deeper into the neo-Nazi groups, you see some celebration of the Taliban, usually related to extremely misogynistic or extremely anti-Semitic discussion, she added.
This type of cross-ideological praise has historical precedent, according to Squire, citing as an example, a meme that circulated in neo-Nazi communities during a particularly misogynist period about “white Sharia,” the concept that women should be treated the way the Taliban treats women.
There have been recent examples of right-leaning groups supporting movement overseas that appear ideologically distant.
For instance, earlier this summer, QAnon and Donald Trump-supporting online forums celebrated the deadly military coup in Myanmar and suggested the same should happen in the United States so Trump could be reinstated as President.
CNN also spoke to followers of the former President in Ventura, California, in February who said they wanted to see a Myanmar-style coup happen here.
However, the most common narrative is around the idea that the US is “importing the Taliban” through the relocation of Afghans and that Afghan refugees are too different to become real citizens, according to Squire.
“It’s really an anti-Muslim idea, anti-immigration idea,” she said.
The Pentagon announced Monday that the last US military planes left Afghanistan, departing after weeks of chaotic and deadly evacuation efforts that were punctuated by the devastating suicide attack last Thursday that killed more than 170 people, in addition to the 13 US service members who were also killed.
Some of the Afghanistan narratives are focused on “the Taliban did it right” and that it should be a “lesson learned” for how we should operate in the US, a US law enforcement official told CNN about the rapid rise of the Taliban as the US withdrew troops.
“That’s got us a little concerned,” because it suggests an escalation in violence, the official added. For example, there were references to the fact that only 80,000 Taliban were able to defeat an Afghan army of several hundred thousand supported by the US, the official said.
As of February, the Afghan forces numbered 308,000 personnel, according to a United Nations Security Council report released in June — well above the estimated number of armed Taliban fighters, which ranged from 58,000 to 100,000, CNN previously reported. Though number of Afghan forces has been considered by many to be inflated.
“There are some significant discussions,” in which people are expressing support of what the Taliban has done and are looking at it as an example of what anti-government extremists should be doing in the US, the official said, adding that the reaction has been a “little bit surprising.”
In Europe and the US, there has also been an “outpouring” of anti-refugee commentary from White nationalists and Neo-Nazis responding to the Taliban’s takeover, SITE found.
Commentary on anonymous forums has been particularly violent, according to SITE, which found users discussing taking up arms, and in one case, threatening attacks on refugee assistance organizations in Florida.
The hateful rhetoric is similar to that seen amid Libyan and Syrian refugee waves in the 2010s, which paved the way for violent terrorist attacks in Christchurch and Pittsburgh, according to SITE.
Amid anti-immigrant sentiment, DHS officials have been bracing for whether Afghans themselves will be targeted once they land in the US and are resettled here, a DHS official previously told CNN.
“Will they be the potential target? Will Afghans themselves become targets?” the official said, noting the concern.

“Willing to establish relations with all nations except Israel,” Taliban spokesman Suhail Shaheen

DOHA/KABUL: Taliban Spokesman Suhail Shaheen has said that the group is willing to establish relations with all nations except Israel.
In a recent interview with Russia’s Sputnik News, Shaheen said that the Islamist group would be happy to open a new chapter of ties with the US that would include reconstruction aid.
“Yes, of course, in a new chapter if America wants to have a relation with us, which could be in the interest of both countries and both peoples, and if they want to participate in the reconstruction of Afghanistan, they are welcome”, Shaheen said.
However, there was no chance for ties with Israel.
“Of course, we won’t have any relation with Israel. We want to have relations with other countries, Israel is not among these countries,” Shaheen said.
Meanwhile, the Taliban on Tuesday named a provisional government, including several wanted for terror offences.

Afghans didn’t “hate our freedoms.”
They hated our bombs, hellfire missiles, drones, and special ops death squads, many of whom are the “allies” that military and CIA special forces were keen to save and get out of Afghanistan.
“Death to America” doesn’t translate to “death to Americans”. It means death to the US Government, its hegemonic imperial war and death machine, and its puppet governments, which has killed millions of innocent people over the past 40-70 years.
There’s not a family in Afghanistan which has not lost family members to the war, combatant and non-combatant alike. I read that the average ranged from 5-16 family members, most of them innocent men, women, and children.
And now, those “allied” death squads who murdered and tortured tens of thousands of people in largely out of the way places in the mountains and deserts spirited out of Afghanistan among all the younger, single men shown on the news at Kabul airport are here now, or on their way.

Haunted by Predator drones in the sky and death squads on the ground
When the United States and its allies invaded Afghanistan 20 years ago, many Western media outlets broadcast jubilant scenes of Kabul. In the footage, Afghans shaved their beards and flung off their burqas, dancing to music once banned under the Taliban regime.
This was, however, just one side to the story. While many, especially those in urban areas, were indeed happy about the fall of the Taliban, a lot of Afghans in the country’s rural heartland did not have the luxury of celebration.
They soon experienced the suffocating embrace of war, hunted down by B-52s, drones, and American-backed death squads.
In the country’s south, in Kandahar province, on October 7, 2001, there was a more important scene that journalists scarcely covered at the time. It’s where the first drone strike in mankind’s history took place. The alleged target, Taliban supreme leader Mullah Mohammad Omar, however, eluded the strike. He only died more than a decade later of natural causes.
On that October day in Kandahar when the American war in Afghanistan started, an unknown group of people was droned. And it has happened again and again in many parts of the country.
or two decades, we did not hear very much about these developments. Overall, many media outlets painted a positive picture of the “good war.” They portrayed U.S. actions as “just” and “legitimate” while, mostly, they showed the world a very tiny part of Afghan reality, mostly consisting of urban elites who benefited from the U.S. occupation. Few reporters and investigative journalists focused on the dark side of the war on terror in Afghanistan.
Suddenly last month, Western audiences were overwhelmed by these largely ignored realities on the ground as the Taliban, within a few weeks, captured most parts of Afghanistan, including its provincial capitals. Though the CIA predicted that Kabul might fall within the next 30 to 90 days, it took the insurgents just 24 hours to enter the nation’s capital as conquerors.
While Western media outlets were focusing on their governments’ “democracy mission” in Afghanistan, the victims of drone strikes remained largely invisible.
There were many reasons for Afghanistan’s collapse to the Taliban. The Western-installed and -backed government of Ashraf Ghani, and that of his predecessor Hamid Karzai, was flimsy; its pillars were brittle and lacked a strong foundation within Afghan society at large.
Many of its dominant figures were notorious warlords, drug barons, and other deeply corrupt individuals who were not interested in creating a functioning state.
Instead, they did everything to undermine the newly created state apparatus, especially through the generous siphoning of aid money that they wasted no time in reinvesting in luxury properties abroad and other similar dirty business, which happened in front of the eyes of international donors who preferred to ignore such developments for the sake of fighting the greater evil, the Taliban.
Inevitably, Afghan security forces were hampered by corruption, too.

I spent all of August working all hours of the day to help fight back against the medical tyranny going on around the world while also fighting off the slings and arrows of the Globalist American Empire who wasn’t too happy about it.
At the end of July I published religious exemption documents in response to the overwhelming amount of private messages I received on Gab with people telling me that their school, workplace, and even our military would be forcing them to get inject an experimental vaccine into their body or lose everything.
The documents went wildly viral, not only on Gab, but across the entire internet. This caught the attention of the Enemy, who swiftly began their usual tactics of defaming me for reminding people that they have religious liberty, bodily autonomy, and human rights.
The first attack came from the New York Times and a Facebook-funded “research firm.” They claimed that by sharing religious exemption documents that I was spreading “misinformation.” Next the far-left blog New Republic did their best to smear me, but ended up making Gab look pretty based if you ask me.
Finally, the far-left establishment activists at Media Matters said I was trying to “sabotage” vaccination efforts.
All of these attacks made me double down on my position of educating and helping the public, especially my brothers and sisters in Christ, navigate the most tyrannical attack on freedom in recent memory.
We created the No Vax Job Board group on Gab, which was a massive success and is leading to people finding new jobs without vaccine requirements.
Then I published a religious exemption template for college students as they faced being kicked out of school at the start of the fall semester for refusing to be injected.
I even sent an email (and encouraged others to do the same) to my own alma mater after learning that they were rejecting religious exemptions.
Oh and in case you missed it, Congress sent a letter to Gab and we responded here.
Needless to say, it was a busy month.
We must do everything we can right now to peacefully protect our freedom by building a parallel society. It’s baffling to me how people do not recognize the urgency of the situation we are in. We have lost so much over the past 18 months and we will never get it back unless we start taking a stand right this second.
That means putting in the work. You may need to find a new job. You may need to move. You may need to pull your children out of school. You may need to find a new doctor, a new church, a new everything. You may even have to show up at your local city council and school board meetings to let them have a piece of your mind.
What does a parallel society look like?
It looks like homeschooling your kids, turning off the television, deleting your Facebook account, reading your Bible, spending more time with your kids, moving to a better area near people who share your values, getting involved in local instead of national politics, finding a church that isn’t woke, supporting businesses who support your values, consuming content from people who share your values, and radically removing each and every last corrosive system of control and fear of the globohomo society from your life.
It won’t be easy, nothing worthwhile is, but it can and is being done by so many people in your exact position.
Let me ask you something: what is your freedom worth to you?
To me it is worth everything.
The freedom to worship in my church without permission from the State.
The freedom to work without being forced to inject myself with a substance that I do not want in my body.
The freedom to have a political opinion on the internet without being banned from banks and social networks.
The freedom for my children to learn without having a disgusting and unhealthy dirty mask over their faces for eight hours a day and being told they are evil for their skin color.
Are these freedoms worth making an effort to preserve and protect?
Absolutely. If they are to you, you better start acting like it because no one is coming to save you. Not politicians. Not Presidents. Only Jesus Christ saves and God helps those who help themselves.

We are faced with a choice as we undergo one of the most radical power plays in human history by the global elite. We can shut up, put on the mask, take the 4+ (and counting) vaccines, and be treated like cattle, or we can peacefully take action by exiting their entire system and forging our own path forward in a parallel economy, a parallel internet, and a parallel society.
