    Text-Text-Text

    What A Trump Rally Reveals

    Trump’s got a brand new meme.

    He brands it the “Unholy Alliance.”

    For like applied science, Trump’s got a streak of defiance running up his spine.

    [Clip: “We’re directly taking on the Unholy Alliance of corrupt Democrat politicians, deep state bureaucrats, and the fake news media, they’re they are right there.”]

    Dig deeper.

    And we find three billionaires who hate Christian traditions as the main bankrollers of the Democratic Party.

    Guess who? Three Jews.

    George Soros, Tom Steyer, Michael Bloomberg.

    Their Jewish money sets the Party line, whether it’s abortion…

    [Clip: “Virtually every top Democrat also now supports late-term abortion ripping babies straight from the mother’s womb, right up to the moment of birth. That’s why I’ve asked Congress to prohibit extreme late-term abortion because Republicans believe that every child is a sacred gift from God.”]

    …mass immigration…

    [Clip: “The Democrats are fighting to restore the wretched political class that threw open our nation’s borders…”]

    …or wars for Israel… well, Trump hasn’t started any new ones.

    [Clip: “And bogged us down in one foreign war after another, the endless wars have to stop, have to stop.”]

    Jews don’t want to hear that.

    For the first time from any President—or from the hacks on Capitol Hill who serve the Zionists—Trump brings to the fore the miseries that historic Christian communities have suffered in the Middle East in these endless wars for Isra-hell.

    [Clip: “We’re going to bring our soldiers back home, and we may need them for something else, and they’ll be ready. Previous administrations lust for regime change. And also put historic Christian communities in vastly more danger than they were before we started. They are some of the biggest victims of these power vacuums and reckless foreign adventures, the Christians, the Christians.”]

    And Somalis, Somalis, in the heart of the White Christian Midwest, I mean refugee resettlement pushed by the Jewish Lobby, the “Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society,” this resettlement has abated under Trump with his program to let local populations decide, not billion dollar Jewish Lobbies, decide who should live side by side.

    [Clip: “As you know, for many years leaders in Washington brought large numbers of refugees to your state from Somalia without considering the impact on schools, and communities, and taxpayers. I promise you that as president I will give local communities a greater say in refugee policy, and put in place enhanced vetting and responsible immigration control. And I’ve done that. Since coming into office, I have reduced refugee resettlement by 85 percent. And as you know, maybe especially in Minnesota, I kept another promise, I issued an Executive Action making clear that no refugees will be resettled in any city or any state without the express written consent of that city or that state. So speak to your mayor.”]

    And talk about victims.

    We’ll all be cultural victims if Democrats get back into the White House.

    They’ll be having not only homosexual parties, like the devil Obama, but transgender parties—for children—and celebrating every style of child abuse.

    Like this.

    [Clip: “An elementary school student from Massachusetts likes to play hockey, Jacob.” “Alright, Jacob!” “Um, my name’s Jacob, and I’m a 9-year old transgender American. My question is–” “Alright, Jacob! (Applause, cheering, applause) Hold on!” “What will you do in your first week as president to make sure that kids like me feel safer in school? And what do you think schools need to do better to make sure that I don’t have to worry about anything but my homework?” “Oh, I like that question, Jacob. We’re going to do this.”]

    What the hell?

    Is Warren Encouraging children to have sex changes that create emotional havoc when they get older?

    “Jacob” here is actually a girl who thinks she’s a boy, and Pocahontas thinks that’s just peachy.

    It’s not peachy.

    It’s child abuse.

    Can you just imagine?

    [Clip: “I actually think they’re going to endorse me. Because if they don’t can you imagine having Pocahontas as your president?”]

    Because if she gets in she’ll have transgendered children shooting up anti-puberty drugs right smack in the middle of the Oval Office.

    My fellow Americans.

    In spite of Trump’s pandering to the tribe for their ‘Jewish State’ he’s not going to be fawning all over transgendered children in the White House.

    This is the kind of gender flattering Trump flouts which makes Jewry very nervous – Gentile boys being boys, and Gentile girls being girls.

    And with the biggest funders of the Homosexual Lobby—like the Jew Paul Singer—and promoters of sexual deviancy—like the Jew Jeff Zucker of CNN—it grinds to a halt if Trump gets back in.

    At least he’ll maintain a domestic policy holding pattern.

    Then all hell could break loose in 2024 if patriots finally open their eyes and point the finger at nation-destroying Jews.

    This is a long war.

    We’re at the edge of promise and providence.

    And a lot of hard work is before us.

    +BN off the cuff

    Hold on, I need some water here. Let me lubricate the tonsils (which I had taken out actually when I was six).

    Look, I’ve got five undeniable accomplishments that Trump has done. They’re undeniable.

    One. Trump has appointed over 200 conservative judges to both federal and district courts who won’t litigate from the bench sexual perversion or abortion like Ginsberg and the rest of the Jews on the Supreme Court.

    Trump has deregulated all over the place. That’s number two. For instance, hearing aids are now affordable by his reg deregulation which, before he took office, hearing aids were not affordable.

    Three. Trump has defunded Planned Parenthood by at least $60 million, and cut funding for many other abortion entities. These are all funded and staffed by Jews, you know.

    Four. Trump signed into law the Right To Try Drug Bill, which gives terminally ill patients the right to get drugs even from foreign countries, like Canada or Mexico, that have not as yet been FDA approved. This is big.

    Five. Trump has not started any new wars. It’s huge, in spite of the Democrats and the Republicans who serve the Zionists and the media, run by Jews, that they all scream for.

    Any who buck the Military-Industrial Complex and the Jew-owned Federal Reserve, International Finance, Jew-owned finance that funds it, gets assassinated.

    Trump’s got really good security around him, thank God.

    Look, at the very least, four more years of Trump keeps a domestic policy holding pattern. Then God willing, by 2024, American patriots could finally open their eyes and point their fingers at nation-destroying Jews.

    Now I say expell them. A hundred and nine countries did it. I think 110 is a good round number. I mean, ship them off to the Marshall Islands.

    I mean, it’s already a sanctuary for sharks, so Jews will fit right in.

    I’ve got a new vision for America. I believe in it.

    Help me make it happen.

    Trump has a track record of befriending pedophiles ( Epstein and Cohen ) ….and there is even a sworn deposition by a woman who said that she was raped by Trump at the age of 13.

    I don’t think Trump is opposed at all to transgenderism, pedophilia or any other rotten, filthy debauchery that the Thirteenth Tribe has in store for the witless population of America. His own wife has posed naked with another female in compromising positions. So I hardly doubt that homosexuality is an anathema to him.

    He is a third rate actor that the Tribe pays well to dupe to the mentally frail and emotionally immature.

    My grandchildren are already debauched through Netflix, Cartoon Network ( have you seen some of the cartoons, Brother N? Just filthy. ), Nickelodeon and Disney.

    Having a transgender teacher will in no way be healthy for them but it will happen with or without the traitor Trump in office.

    Let us not forget the man posing as a woman in the White House for 8 years. Did Barry Soetoro not call ‘Michele’ “Michael”? I believe he did. What does it matter that she was openly transexual or closeted?

    The tribe is merely placating the Americans, keeping the natives from being too restless with the Trump scam.

    What everyone should be asking themselves is “Why”, all of a sudden, are they diverting our attention from the natural world to the unnatural one?

    Why the continued chaos, infighting, scandals and fake shootings?

    It is non-stop. All the while the natural world unravels. What are they trying to hide from the public? What is their true mission and intent with infecting us with their immorality?

    This is a very complex issue which many have yet to sort out.

    The very lack of understanding their motives will cost many of us our spiritual lives in the not too distant future, and, the tribe knows this.

    Brother Nathanael,

    I have the highest regard for you, let there be no doubt. But when it comes to Trump you are 180 degrees out of synch with reality.

    Firstly, whether you believe it or not, Trump is stone broke. His Jewish handlers own Trump down to his socks and Trump is encumbered financially into negative numbers. He makes no daily decisions in the WH nor does he chose any staff appointments.

    EVERY piece of legislation trump has signed benefits the Global Jewish Organized Crime Cabal far more than it benefits the average American.

    He has authorized multiple new costly military operations, still attempting regeime change in Venezuela, still pouring buckets full of cash into North Korea as humanitarian aid, is allowing the Jewish Fed Reserve to destroy the American dollar in the world market place, has intentionally damaged American farmers to force America into eventual foreign food dependence as more farmers lose their farms to bank foreclosures because they cannot sell their products on the international market ( Tariffs, dollar not accepted).

    The list goes on into infinity where this treasonous shyster is concerned. That you still openly support this piece of human garbage is dismaying to say the least. We have NOBODY running for President who has America’s best interest at heart. Their all glued to the Jewish buttocks by the lips.

    You, of all people, should know better here !!

  11. Rick October 16, 2019 @ 1:04 pm

    Why isn’t Harvard lawyer Dershowitz going to federal prison for having sex with a child?

    Why is he only facing a defamation suit, which is a civil matter, and not criminal?

    Must be nice to be a powerful Jewish kiddie diddler.

    To jail with you, Dershowitz! To jail, I say!

  12. Brother Nathanael October 16, 2019 @ 1:10 pm

    @Rick & All

    They all will be going to jail soon.

    Or better yet, EXPEL the jews. Ship them off to the Marshall Islands.

    Any hew who wants to stay must have their citizenship rights stripped.

    Don’t you know that major military people are watching all of this jew-decadence and jew-impeachment-politics with disgust?

    A reckoning is coming.

    I see a new vision for America. I believe in it.

    America, as a bankrupt nation, has to go to war to steal.

    Dear Bro Nat,

    According to Global warming alarmists the Marshall Isands will be completely under water by 2025.

    Its important to get all the jews there by 2024. Also the Islands need a better name.

    I’d vote for the “Beyond The Pale Islands.”

    Seriously I was astonished to hear Trump say the US is getting out of Syria. Great news. Boy did the jewish faked news media ever squeal like stuck pigs over that one.

    The dreams of Greater Israel seem to be fading away. Looks like it will soon be “lesser Israel” or no Israel at all.

    Without American blood to shed, Israel will be relegated to making the ony kind of war they are good at – murdering unarmed chidren.

    +BN, you got it right, Trump is the lesser evil.

    May I expand Trump’s accomplishment list started by +BN:

    6-He effectively torpedoed World Trade Organization (WTO) through his “trade war” and tariffs imposed on China. This is huge! WTO is the main agent pushing for globalization and thus NWO.

    7-Trump got the US out of the PARIS AGREEMENT! Countries like Sweden and Germany are being bankrupted by the CLIMATE HOAX! Not the US as long as Trump is in office

    8-He got out of Syria, as Ted Gorsline pointed out above. He outfoxed the Jews in their backyard!

    9-He put quite a lot of pressure on the FED to lower interest rates, he criticized them like no other president.

    Granted, he is no saint and her daughter has converted to Judaism. He changed the US embassy to Jerusalem. He has given Kushner way too much power, yes.

    But let me tell you this: patriots need to support him, if he gets 4 more years he will be able to make more profound changes.

    Their alternative is: moral decadence, rampant globalism, wars for the Jews and immigrant invasion.

  22. Lauren October 17, 2019 @ 6:10 am

    Millions of John Hagee viewers agree – Trump is the solution.

  23. Keith October 17, 2019 @ 10:05 am

    What historically is sad is that the US uses Israel as a arms depot which is used to bypass all congressional oversight.

    Whereas the CIA & Friends have been behind arms sales by Israel in the mass genocides of Guatemala, Myanmar, Rwanda, Falklands and many more places.

    This would also include Honduras and other Latin American countries in the War against not only Unions, Labor Reforms, Wages but Civil Right’s and… the Church by killing bishops, priests and nuns and basically anyone who strives to become independent.

    Venezuela was paying off the IMF debts of Argentina and others, so 3 administrations of US Sanctions has put an end to that.

    Paul Singer, like Mitt Romney’s BAIN CAPITAL, then buys up distressed debts from corporations and countries. Just as Elliot Management is buying up all of Latin Americas telephone companies throughout Latin America and associated Islands.

    I might also add that under the premise of #NeverAgain those Zionists are also selling arms to the neo-Nazi’s in the Ukraine.

    Brother Nathanael, you are welcome to be a guest on my show on RBN.

    Keith

    Asia Times: Erdogan takes parting Syria shots as Russians deploy

    The Turkish president is promoting an offensive in northern Syria, but national sovereignty may win the day

    By ALISON TAHMIZIAN MEUSE, BEIRUT

    Turkish-backed forces pressing an offensive into northern Syria are likely to pull back in the coming weeks on request from Russian President Vladimir Putin, as Moscow builds a new regional order based on the principle of national sovereignty.

    Putin is in “continuous contact” with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan with the “ultimate goal of restoring full territorial integrity” in Syria, TASS quoted Russia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vassily Nebenzia as telling reporters.

    “We understand Turkish national security concerns, but we believe that the operation that they are conducting should be proportionate to the aims that they declared,” Nebenzia said earlier, during a closed-door meeting of the UN Security Council.

    Erdogan’s stated goal is a 30 kilometer, or 18 mile, deep “safe zone” stretching from the Euphrates River to the Iraqi border where he can resettle some two million Syrian refugees, who have become a domestic political liability.

    But Russian forces have backed Syrian government troops in deploying into key border towns over the past 24 hours, effectively limiting the scope of the Turkish operation.

    Those include Kobani (Ayn al-Arab), Manbij, Tal Tamr, the former ISIS capital of Raqqa further south and the strategic Tabqa dam.

    Turkish-backed Syrian forces have thus been compelled to channel their energies onto smaller border villages and the towns of Tal Abyad and Ras al-Ayn – the former they seized partial control over, and the latter which they fully surrounded by Thursday, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

    Erdogan on Wednesday emphasized his goal was to eliminate PKK-affiliated Kurdish forces from the corridor along his southern border, paving the way for a deal in which Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s forces resume full control.

    “Turkey respects Syria’s territorial integrity and political unity,” the Turkish leader said in a statement.

    “Once a legitimate government that represents all groups is formed in this country, we will leave the administration of the areas we have made secure to them,” he added.

    After being personally greeted in Abu Dhabi by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Putin went to the Qasr Al Watan royal palace by motorcade – escorted by several cars that might seem painfully familiar to every ordinary Russian driver. The white Mercedes’ Emirati license plates contrasted with the large blue letters ДПС on their hoods – copying the color scheme of the Russian road police patrols.

    Good read. Trump must be doing something right.

    ~~~*~~~
    Mint Press News: (Excerpts): Media Yells “Cut!” When Trump Forgets His Lines and Says Something Anti-War
    When it comes to substantive issues that the elite all agree on (such as foreign policy), there is little to no pushback against the president, excepting when he utters statements that are read as critical of war and militarism.
    by Alan Macleod
    Donald J. Trump is not an anti-war president, as should hardly be necessary to note.
    In his first year in office, the State Department sold more than $75 billion worth of arms overseas, easily an all-time record, while the U.S. is currently fighting in seven different countries simultaneously.
    Trump’s military budget is approaching all-time high levels and the president has filled his cabinet with some of the most notorious war hawks in American history.
    Trump has greatly expanded the U.S. role in the Middle East, announcing his intention to supply Saudi Arabia with over $100 billion in new arms and reversing previous decisions stopping the sale of laser-guided bombs that have reduced Yemen to rubble.
    He also vetoed a bipartisan resolution aimed at ending the U.S. role in a near genocide that threatens to kill nearly 24 million people in need of humanitarian assistance, according to the United Nations.
    Trump also made the decision to drop the MOAB — the Mother of All Bombs, the largest non-nuclear bomb ever used — on Afghanistan in 2017 (to applause from the media).
    Political satirist Jeremy Newberger claimed he had been brainwashed by Turkish President Recep Erdogan, and asked him “did you consider putting a big bow on Syria when you decided to gift it to Putin?”
    An anti-war war hawk?
    That is why Trump’s recent statements on the Middle East were all the more surprising.
    Defending his surprise decision to withdraw from fighting in Syria, he argued that the U.S. “should never have been in the Middle East in the first place,” claiming “The stupid endless wars, for us, are ending!”
    But the president went even further, offering a serious analysis of the costs of America’s overseas operations.
    “The United States has spent eight trillion dollars” on war in the region, he declared on Twitter; “Going into the Middle East is the worst decision ever made in the history of our country. We went to war under a false & now disproven premise, weapons of mass destruction. There were none!”
    What was most shocking of all in this uncharacteristic bout of honesty was that Trump discussed the human cost of war, something rarely mentioned in corporate media.
    “Thousands of our Great Soldiers have died or been badly wounded. Millions of people have died on the other side,” he added.
    His comments elicited a storm of outrage on social media from the professional liberal “resistance,” apparently more angry that he said the quiet part loud than about the millions of dead people.
    But it was The Hill that most accurately summed up the tone of the media. Pulling out of the Middle East is “impulsive, strategically vapid and morally obtuse” according to opinion contributor Will Marshall. On the topic of “endless wars” he said:
    It’s time to retire this mindless trope. U.S. forces aren’t engaged in the Middle East because Americans are addicted to war or the trappings of superpower status. They are fighting mainly to contain the very real threat of Islamist terrorism.”
    Marshall continued to explain that it has been nearly 75 years since Japan surrendered, and the U.S. still has tens of thousands of troops occupying the country.
    This, for him, was a good thing, because they were there “to preempt threats to our homeland, deter aggression and protect America’s far-flung interests. Their mission is counterterrorism.” Thus, it seems that the liberal resistance to Trump is strongest when he begins to shift, however minutely, to a more anti-war position.
    Our underfunded Military Industrial Complex
    It was a similar story last year, when in December Trump took to Twitter to declare the $716 billion military budget he had previously approved “crazy,” fueling speculation that he might attempt to reduce the already enormous amount the U.S. spends on war — damn near as much as all other countries combined.
    Land Destroyer: US Finally Bombs French Factory in Syria Infamous for Funding ISIS
    CNN in its article, “US conducts airstrike on weapons storage site as troops pull out of Syria,” notes that (emphasis added):
    “On Oct. 16, after all Coalition personnel and essential tactical equipment departed, two Coalition F-15Es successfully conducted a pre-planned precision airstrike at the Lafarge Cement Factory to destroy an ammunition cache, and reduce the facility’s military usefulness,” US Army Col. Myles Caggins, a spokesman for the US-led military coalition fighting ISIS, confirmed in a statement Wednesday.
    And indeed the airstrike eliminated the facility’s military usefulness once and for all.
    Larfarge Facility Served ISIS, then US Occupation of Syrian Territory
    While documented evidence ranging from the US’ own Defense Intelligence Agency to leaked e-mails written by former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton confirms the rise of Al Qaeda and ISIS in Syria was the result of extensive and deliberate state-backing from the US, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar – the fact that the US only destroyed a facility serving ISIS and Al Qaeda when it became clear it would never be able to be used by them again – adds further light to the truth of Washington’s deliberate and central role in engineering, executing, and perpetuating the devastating war in Syria.
    Adding insult to injury is the fact that forces taking over where Lafarge’s facility was located will undoubtedly be tasked with fighting the remnants of or state-sponsored resurgence of ISIS and Al Qaeda in the near future – minus a key facility that would have helped them do so.
    From the beginning of the conflict when the French government refused to have a facility destroyed it and its US allies knew was aiding and abetting terrorists – to America’s destruction of the facility to deny its and the surrounding base’s resources to Syrian forces tasked with preventing ISIS and Al Qaeda’s resurgence – the facility is a symbol of the West’s malicious and insidious state-sponsorship of terrorism in their failed proxy war against Damascus.
    The Duran’s Alex Christoforou and Editor-in-Chief Alexander Mercouris examine how the Russian and US military appear to be coordinating their moves in Syria so as to prevent Turkey from moving further into Northern Syria, while using diplomacy to bring the Kurds into the framework of a united Syria.
    According to AMN (https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/…), Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) Mark Milley and Russian Chief of General Staff Valery Gerasimov held a phone conversation on Monday to discuss the situation in Syria, the JCS press service said.
    “The two military leaders exchanged their views on issues of mutual concern in Syria,” the JCS said in a statement. “The two leaders have agreed to keep the specific details of their conversation secret.”
    The Russian Defense Ministry issued a similar statement earlier in the day, providing no details as well.
    Gerasimov’s previous telephone contact with the newly appointed US official took place on October 2, several days after Milley had taken over as the US top military officer, succeeding US Marine Corps General Joseph Dunford.
    The two, according Hayley Sims, a spokeswoman for the Joint Staff, exchanged views on issues of mutual concern and agreed that regular contact were important to promote transparency and avoid mistakes.
    Mint Press News: Sorting Facts From Fiction About the US Withdrawal From Syria
    If one believes in the restoration of international law and the tenets of the UN Charter, then the withdrawal of U.S. military forces from northern Syria is a good thing. Here are some facts and history that explain why.
    by Rick Sterling
    During the October 15 Democratic Debates, Joe Biden said that the withdrawal of U.S. troops from northern Syria was “the most shameful thing any president had done in modern history in terms of foreign policy.”
    This is absurd. Over one million died in Iraq including 4,500 and at least 100,000 severely injured U.S. soldiers. Joe Biden was an influential supporter of the 2003 Iraq invasion.
    Later, as Vice President, he supported the overthrow of the Libyan government. The country is still in chaos with tens of thousands dead. These two countries were devastated by U.S. action.
    It is evidence of shameless unaccountability in media and politics that Biden is a serious candidate for President after having destroyed so many lives at a cost of trillions of taxpayer dollars.
    In the same Democratic debates, Tulsi Gabbard was honest and accurate as she said that the plight of the Kurds in northern Syria is “yet another consequence of the regime change war we’ve been waging in Syria.”
    Despite the howls of indignation and disinformation, withdrawing U.S. troops from northern Syria is a step in the right direction.
    USA Today: President Donald Trump moves to stop ‘endless wars.’ I stand with him: Sen. Rand Paul
    Rand Paul, Opinion contributor
    Published 7:05 p.m. ET Oct. 16, 2019 | Updated 8:13 p.m. ET Oct. 16, 2019
    The Syrian civil war was a mess from the beginning. There’s no clear U.S. interest and no need for U.S. troops: Opposing view
    President Donald Trump campaigned on a very specific foreign policy. “America First” has its roots in the less-interventionist policies of our Founding Fathers.
    Then-candidate Trump said often that the Iraq War was a mistake, and that we were in too many places for too long. Fast-forward to 2019, and the president is now moving forward to stop the “endless wars.” I stand with him.
    The idea that our president would make this decision from this perspective is refreshing and long-awaited. Virtually every president in my lifetime has ended up in a new conflict or extending and expanding the old ones.
    In particular, in the past 18 years, from Iraq to Libya to Syria, past presidents went into one bad misadventure after another.
    The Syrian civil war was a mess from the beginning, with Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton supporting arms that went to Sunni extremists, which allowed the war to go on long enough that hundreds of thousands died and millions were displaced.
    During every conflict, as we attempt to extricate ourselves, there is always a chorus of hawks who scream about what will happen when we leave. It usually happens if we stay anyway.
    Iraq. Afghanistan. Now Syria. We hear that our presence could be needed for decades. To what end? What do we hope happens during that time?
    I, for one, don’t see what our national interest is in policing the Middle East and nation-building. Thankfully, neither does President Trump.
    His bold action to remove our troops from Syria is the continuation of his policy to leave that civil war. He sought to defeat the Islamic State and did. What is left is a decades-long battle among Turks, Kurds and Syrians that we cannot solve.
    Every decision has a price. Would you be willing to send your son or daughter to stand between two armies 7,000 miles away as a human shield? I would not.
    For those who want to stay, come to Congress as you should. Tell us, for starters, whom you would declare war on. Our NATO ally Turkey? The Kurds? Syria?
    No one can answer this because there is no clear U.S. interest and no need for our troops. That’s President Trump’s standard, and I support it.
    Alternet: Here’s the truth about Trump’s fake withdrawal from our endless wars
    By Medea Benjamin & Nicolas J. S. Davies
    On Monday, October 7, the U.S. withdrew 50 to 100 troops from positions near Syria’s border with Turkey, and two days later Turkey invaded Rojava, the de facto autonomous Kurdish region of northeast Syria. Trump is now taking credit for a temporary, tenuous ceasefire.
    In a blizzard of tweets and statements, Donald Trump has portrayed his chaotic tactical relocation of U.S. troops in Syria as a down payment on his endless promises to withdraw U.S. forces from endless wars in the greater Middle East.
    On October 16, the U.S. Congress snatched the low-hanging political fruit of Trump’s muddled policy with a rare bipartisan vote of 354-60 to condemn the U.S. redeployment as a betrayal of the Kurds, a weakening of America’s credibility, a lifeline to ISIS, and a political gift to Russia, China and Iran.
    But this is the same Congress that never mustered the integrity to debate or vote on the fateful decision to send U.S. troops into harm’s way in Syria in the first place.
    This vote still fails to fulfill Congress’s constitutional duty to decide whether U.S. troops should be risking their lives in illegal military operations in Syria, what they are supposed to be doing there or for how long.
    Members of Congress from both parties remain united in their shameful abdication of their constitutional authority over America’s illegal wars.
    Trump’s latest promises to “bring the troops home” were immediately exposed as empty rhetoric by a Pentagon press release on October 11, announcing that the Trump administration has actually increased its deployments of troops to the greater Middle East by 14,000 since May.
    There were already 60,000 troops stationed or deployed in the region, which the Congressional Research Service described in September as a long-term “baseline,” so the new deployments appear to have raised the total number of U.S. troops in the region to about 74,000.
    Precise numbers of U.S. troops in each country are hard to pin down, especially since the Pentagon stopped publishing its troop strength in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria in 2017.
    Based mainly on reports by the Congressional Research Service, these are the most accurate and up-to-date numbers we have found:
    — 14,000-15,000 (plus 8,000 from other NATO countries) in Afghanistan
    — about 7,000, mostly U.S. Navy, in Bahrain
    — 280 in Egypt
    — 5,000-10,000 in Iraq, mostly at Al Asad Air Base in Anbar Province
    — 2,800 in Jordan (some may now have been relocated to Iraq)
    — 13,000 in Kuwait, the fourth-largest permanent U.S. base nation after Germany, Japan and South Korea
    — a “few hundred” in Oman
    — at least 13,000 in Qatar, where the Pentagon just approved a $1.8 billion expansion of Al Udeid Air Base, U.S. Central Command’s regional occupation headquarters
    — about 3,500 in Saudi Arabia, including 500 sent in July and 2,500 more since September
    — 1,000-2,000 in Syria, who may or may not really be leaving
    — 1,750 at Incirlik and Izmir Air Bases in Turkey
    — more than 5,000 in the UAE, mostly at Al Dhafra Air Base
    As for actually ending the wars that all these forces are waging or supporting, Trump escalated the U.S. bombing of Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria in 2017, and these bombing campaigns rumble on regardless of peace talks with the Taliban and declarations of victory over the Islamic State.
    U.S. air wars are often more devastating than ground warfare, especially to civilians.
    Between 2001 and October 2018, the U.S. and its allies dropped more than 290,000 bombs and missiles on other countries.
    This reign of terror has not stopped, for according to U.S. airpower statistics, from November 2018 to September 2019 the U.S. has now dropped another 6,811 bombs on Afghanistan and 7,889 on Iraq and Syria.
    In Donald Trump’s first 32 months in office, he is responsible for dropping 17,100 bombs and missiles on Afghanistan and 48,941 on Iraq and Syria, an average of a bomb or missile every 20 minutes.
    Despite his endless promises to end these wars, Trump has instead been dropping more bombs and missiles on other countries than George H.W. Bush and Obama put together.
    When Congress finally invoked the War Powers Act to extricate U.S. forces from the Saudi-led war on Yemen, Trump vetoed the bill.
    The House has now attached that provision to the FY2020 NDAA military spending bill, but the Senate has not yet agreed to it, and Trump may find another way to exclude it.
    Even as Donald Trump rails against the military-industrial complex that “likes war” and sometimes sounds sincere in his desire to end these wars, he keeps hiring arms industry executives to run his foreign and military policy.
    His first defense secretary was General Dynamics board member and retired General James Mattis.
    Then he brought in Boeing’s senior vice president Patrick Shanahan as acting secretary of defense, and now Raytheon lobbyist Mark Esper as secretary of defense.
    Secretary of State Mike Pompeo made his fortune as the co-founder of Thayer Aerospace.
    Trump boasts about being the best weapons salesman of all, touting his multibillion-dollar deals to provide the repressive Saudi regime with the weapons to commit crimes against humanity in Yemen.
    And yet withdrawal from endless wars is one Trump campaign promise that Americans across the political spectrum hoped he would really fulfill.
    Tragically, like “drain the swamp” and other applause lines, Trump’s promises to end the “crazy, endless wars” have proven to be just another cynical ploy by this supremely cynical politician and con man.
    The banal truism that ultimately defines Trump’s foreign policy is that actions speak louder than words.
    Behind the smokescreen of Trump’s alternating professions of faith to both sides on every issue, he always ends up rewarding the wealthy and powerful. His cronies in the arms industry are no exception.
    Sober reflection leads us to conclude that Trump’s endless promises will not end the endless wars he has been waging and escalating, nor prevent the new ones he has threatened against North Korea, Venezuela and Iran.
    So it is up to the rest of us to grasp the horror, futility and criminality of the wars that three successive U.S. administrations have inflicted on the world and to organize effective political action to end them and prevent new ones.
    We also need help from legitimate mediators from the UN and mutually trusted third parties to negotiate political and diplomatic solutions that U.S. leaders who are blinded by deeply ingrained militarism and persistent illusions of global military dominance cannot achieve by themselves.
    In the real world, which does still exist beyond the fantasy world of Trump’s contradictory promises, that is how we will bring the troops home.
    Excellent video, +BN! I think it’s perhaps your best ever!
    Trump promised a lot of mostly good things in his 2016 campaign, but his first two years have left a lot to be desired.
    I believe most of that is due to some extremely poor choices he made in cabinet positions/advisers. But he at least is recognizing that these choices were mistakes, and he is correcting them now. Getting rid of Jeff Sessions and John Bolton, among others, was a huge breath of fresh air.
    Trump is showing that he is capable of learning from his mistakes, and not just mindlessly repeating them like so many DC politicians do. And his attention to the abortion, LGBT rights, and endless wars agendas is telling me that he is getting seriously “on track” now. All this while the Democrats and the media are in full meltdown mode.
    True Publica: Uninhabitable: Gaza faces the moment of truth
    Jonathan Cook
    LONG READ 40 mins – by Jonathan Cook – Nazareth, Israel: Israel has ignored warnings by the United Nations that Gaza is about to become uninhabitable, acting as if Palestinians there can be caged, starved and abused indefinitely. Now crises are unfolding on all fronts – social, economic, political and humanitarian – and Israel is running out of time to find solutions
    The only way Israelis can be made to sit up and take note of the disaster unfolding next door in Gaza, it seems, is when they fear the fallout may spill out of the tiny coastal enclave and engulf them too.
    Environmental experts from two Israeli universities issued a report in June warning that the imminent collapse of Gaza’s water, sewage and electricity infrastructure would soon rebound on Israel.
    Gideon Bromberg, the Israeli director of EcoPeace Middle East, which commissioned the report, told journalists: “Without urgent, vigorous action, plagues and infections will break out that could cost a great many lives, both in Israel and in Gaza, and no fence or Iron Dome [Israel’s missile interception system] can thwart them.”
    Israel’s liberal Haaretz newspaper paraphrased another of Bromberg’s comments: “If something isn’t done, the upshot could be political horror in the form of hundreds of thousands of Gazans fleeing for their lives toward Israel – for fear of catching disease.”
    Bromberg and others on Israel’s left are well aware that Gaza’s 2 million Palestinians were long ago dehumanized in the eyes of most Israeli Jews, who think of them as nothing more than terrorists or terrorist sympathizers who deserve their sorry fate.
    Stories of Gaza’s endless suffering a short distance from Israelis’ homes are unlikely to shame them into action. They can be roused only out of self-interest – a fear for their own safety and the wellbeing of their loved ones.
    Gaza’s problems, however – the fact that it is one of the most densely populated, poorest and polluted places on the planet – are not an accident, or the consequences of some natural cataclysm. The crisis there is entirely man-made – and one that has been engineered over decades by Israel.
    Israel effectively treated the Strip as a dumping ground – a holding pen – for the mass of refugees it created by dispossessing the Palestinians of their homeland in 1948.
    Nearly three-quarters of Gaza’s inhabitants are descended from the refugees of that war, Palestinians who were forced off their lands in what is now Israel and denied the right ever to return to their homes.
    Having exiled them, Israel was nonetheless prepared to use the Palestinians of Gaza as a cheap labor force – for a time.
    It was possible until the 1990s for Palestinians to exit Gaza relatively easily to work in Israel’s dirtiest and lowest-paying jobs. But as the occupation entrenched, Israel was forced into a rethink by two developments.
    First, Palestinians under occupation, including in Gaza, launched a lengthy campaign of mass civil disobedience against their occupiers in the late 1980s, known as the first intifada, that included general strikes, a refusal to pay taxes, boycotts of Israeli goods and stone-throwing.
    And second, Gaza’s population has grown exponentially, at a pace that outstripped the capacity of this tiny territory – measuring just 25 miles in length and some 5 miles across – to accommodate them.
    In response, Israeli leaders pushed for a more clear-cut physical separation from Gaza. The rallying cry of politicians of the time was: “Us here, them over there.”
    Israel’s out-of-sight, out-of-mind approach was soon given diplomatic sanction in the Oslo Accords of the mid-1990s. Israel surrounded Gaza with high-security fences and armed watchtowers, established an exclusion zone along its sea coast, and revoked the general exit policy.
    The moment of truth arrives
    By most measures, Gaza is already uninhabitable for the vast majority of its population. But as next year’s deadline set by the UN nears, Israel is faced with a stark choice.
    Given the “logic of elimination” at the core of settler colonial ideologies like Zionism, Israel, as previously noted, has to choose one of three paths in relation to Gaza’s inhabitants: genocide, ethnic cleansing or apartheid.
    But if as the UN says, and the preceding text highlights, Gaza is about to become uninhabitable, then apartheid will soon no longer be an option.
    Penning 2 million people up inside an uninhabitable prison amounts not to apartheid but, by default, to slow-motion genocide.
    So the Israeli public and the watching world are rapidly arriving at a moment of truth.
    Is Israel going to stand by as Gaza sinks into the terminal humanitarian catastrophe its policies have created?
    Can it avoid the spread of disease, or hordes of Palestinians fleeing Gaza to escape such epidemics, as its own experts have forecast?
    And will western states remain complicit through their silence and financial, diplomatic and military support of Israel? In an age of 24-hour rolling news and social media, death on such a large scale may prove too unpalatable.
    But if this is the case – if genocide is not acceptable, and apartheid no longer sustainable – that leaves Israel and the US with only one alternative: another major episode of ethnic cleansing.
    I have documented elsewhere the strenuous efforts over the past decade by Israel and the United States to force Egypt to accept the reinvention of northern Sinai, the peninsula neighboring Gaza, as a new Palestinian state, and one that would house most of Gaza’s inhabitants.
    In this vision, making Gaza uninhabitable is not, as it currently appears, a dead-end strategy leading to genocide.
    Rather it is an accumulation of pressure on the people of Gaza and the watching international community designed to make it impossible for the Egyptian leadership to deny the enclave’s residents access to Sinai.
    Like a tube of toothpaste, Gaza is being squeezed ever more forcefully on the assumption that, when the cap is removed – the Egyptian land crossing into Sinai is finally open – the enclave’s inhabitants will flood out, desperate to breathe again.
    In 2014 the Israeli media reported on this plan, dubbed “Greater Gaza”.
    At that time an Arab newspaper interviewed a former anonymous official close to Hosni Mubarak, the Egyptian president ousted in 2011. He said Egypt had come under concerted pressure from 2007 onwards – when Hamas took over the enclave – to annex Gaza to northern Sinai.
    Five years later, according to the same source, Mohamed Morsi, who led a short-lived Muslim Brotherhood government, sent a delegation to Washington where the Americans proposed that “Egypt cede a third of the Sinai to Gaza in a two-stage process spanning four to five years”.
    Trump claimed that the Kurds were “no angels” while boasting of his own strategy.
    He was entirely correct.
    In little known history, Kurds played willing mercenaries, henchmen, torturers, and executioners for their Ottoman lords and masters for a promised ‘Greater Kurdistan’ during the 1915 genocides of the Eastern Christians — Armenians, Greeks, Arabs & Assyrians.
    Syria become the refuge and adopted homeland for many, many Christians who fled the horrors of WWI and Ottoman ethnic cleansing and population massacres, and protected by the Syrian Arab people, rebuilt their lives as the diverse Syrian Christian communities.
    And, true to pursuit of their phantom ‘Rohava’ — Syrian Kurds of the US-backed SDF took up ethnic cleansing again of the Arab and Assyrian Christians and Arab Muslim Tribesmen of northern Syria.
    ~~~*~~~

    In Gaza: Eve Bartlett (visiting Syria): “WE WILL NEVER FORGET THE ETHNIC CLEANSING OF ARABS & ASSYRIANS AT THE HANDS OF KURDISH MILITIAS”

    Walking along the Straight Street in Old Damascus last night, Laith Marouf speaks on Damascus’ ancient history, abundant everywhere one looks–even the “stones” people are sitting on.

    But also, do listen from ~3:00 when we reach the martyrs garden that (quoting Laith):

    “commemorates the genocide of the Syriac Canaanites by the Kurdish militias under the order of the Ottoman Turks, in what is now part of Turkey but was part of Syria…

    So when people speak to us here in Syria about the imaginary Rojova land, we will never forget that there was an ethnic cleansing of Arabs and Assyrians from our lands at the hands of Kurdish militias under the order of the Ottomans.”

    “This is a monument to the 1915 genocide of Syriac Assyrians, its around the same time as the Armenian genocide.

    Syria is full of Armenians, it’s where Armenians came and hid. My family is from Deir ez Zor. The first land that Armenians escaping genocide reached, a safe place, was Deir ez Zor.

    My great grandparents hid a lot of Armenian families from the Kurdish militias that were coming into Deir ez Zor to look for Armenians that were escaping.”

    Strategic Culture: Eric Margolis: The Mother of Messes in Syria

    What a mess. The imperial cooks in Washington have turned poor Syria into a poison pit of warring factions, with disastrous results for all.

    Henry Kissinger once quipped that it is more dangerous being America’s ally than its enemy.

    A good example is how Washington used the Kurds in Syria to fight ISIS and then ditched them to face the wrath of the mighty Turkish military alone.

    A great hue and cry has gone up from the US corporate media and Congress that the Kurds are being betrayed. The evangelical far right and Israel’s supporters are leading this charge.

    Israel has secretly been arming and aiding Kurds in Iraq, Iran and Syria since 1975 as a dandy way of splintering the fragile Arab Mideast.

    But President Trump was right when he said that the Kurds had been richly paid by Washington for their services, adding ‘they are no angels.’

    Some facts ignored by the US media: …

    Email blast from If Americans Knew:

    Please take two minutes to contact Congress…

    Tell your legislator: cosponsor this bill that protects Palestinian children!

    New legislation in the House has the simple, humane goal of withholding aid to Israel that would be used to detain, prosecute, and torture Palestinian children. It’s a worthy goal, but only a handful of representatives have signed on. Please take 2 minutes to change this!

    Take Action Now

    Out of 435 representatives, fewer than two dozen have committed to supporting “No Way to Treat a Child” (H.R.2407).

    Worse yet, two Congress members who had earlier cosponsored the bill – Reps. Debbie Dingell and Rosa DeLauro – abruptly reversed their decisions, giving standard Israel-partisan excuses.

    But while Dingell & DeLauro were backing out, activists in California convinced their Congressman to co-sponsor the bill. You can do the same!

    This bill sets the bar extremely low for supporting Palestine: all it asks is that Palestinian children not be tortured using American aid money. Isn’t this a no-brainer? Shouldn’t everyone sign on?

    –411 members of Congress need to hear from us: protect Palestinian children!

    –22 members of Congress need to hear: thank you for protecting Palestinian children!

    –2 members of Congress need to hear: it’s disgraceful to retract support for Palestinian children!

    You can read more about the legislation and its significance here.
    (See a video about Israel’s treatment of children here.)
    [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rw69pLILqw&feature=youtu.be]

    Our Congress gives Israel $10 million every day, and our Congress needs to make sure that, as a bare minimum, that money is not being used to abuse children.

    Tell your representative to add her/his name to H.R.2407! If they’ve already cosponsored, thank them!

    Click the button below to contact your legislator and demand a signature on this bill. (If your legislator has already cosponsored, you will be taken to a “Thank You” page.)

    I wrote this some time back.

    The Jews may have a lot to answer for, but they’re definitely not the only ones. Lincoln… Sherman… Stanton…. All long gone to answer for their crimes.

    The Snow Job at Gettysburg:

    “As we here all well know, this nation was founded on the principle of political secession from perceived political oppression. The Confederate states have decided to claim this principle for themselves.

    “Therefore I have ordered the invasion of that nation, that their sons be killed, their fields burned, their homes razed, their property seized and their food taken, so that their women and children might be left prostrate before the mercies of winter.

    “Furthermore, in years to come, the precedents we set here will be used to raze entire cities – countries even! Killing millions of innocent non-combatants in the process.

    “The limited constitutional republic envisioned by the Founding Fathers will grow into a world straddling beast! Bombing and bullying hapless, smaller nations into line – whilst stealing whatever natural assets we can get our hands on.

    “In time the precepts we have established will be used against your own sons and daughters – you who today so loudly cheer on this war. In days to come THEY will reap the whirlwind we have sown; and in their turn wake up cold and desolate – to cry out in hunger and pain.

    “All this so that government of the people, by the people, for the people shall not perish from the Earth.”

    Trump always insisted “Ya gotta keep the oil!” That was his biggest complaint about the US war on Iraq – “We didn’t keep the oil!”.

    Mass oil theft from the Syrian people, the rightful owners of the oil located on sovereign Syrian territory, pure and simple.

    Our troops are coming “home”? Unless a soldier is at the end of their deployment or term of military service, “home” is in Anbar province, western Iraq.

    Nice while it lasted after Trump slipped the leash. Now Tel Aviv has put the choke chain and leash back on him, and yanked him up hard.

    ~~~*~~~
    Times of Israel: Trump says some US troops staying [illegally, as always! – Kj] in Syria after requests from Israel, Jordan
    US president says ‘small number’ of American soldiers remain deployed on Syrian borders; second group stays to secure country’s oil fields
    US President Donald Trump said Monday that a small number of US troops remain in Syria at the request of Israel and Jordan, with some positioned near the borders with Jordan and Israel and others deployed to secure oil fields [in still SDF held areas outside the illegal Turkish occupation zone, at At Tanf and Deir Ezzor. The rest have been shuttled over to western Iraq near the border – Kj].
    “The other region where we’ve been asked by Israel and Jordan to leave a small number of troops is a totally different section of Syria, near Jordan, and close to Israel,” Trump said when asked whether he would leave soldiers in Syria.
    “So we have a small group there, and we secured the oil. Other than that, there’s no reason for it, in our opinion.”
    Trump’s comments followed a US pullout from northeastern Syria, leaving the Kurds, America’s staunchest allies in the fight against Islamic State, to face invading Turkish forces.
    Speaking at a cabinet meeting, Trump said the “small number” of US troops staying behind were in an entirely different part of Syria, near its border with Jordan and Israel.
    He said another group still in Syria “secured the oil,” a reference to oil fields that the US hopes to keep from falling into the hands of jihadist fighters.
    “I always said if you’re going in, keep the oil,” Trump said, suggesting that the US would “maybe get one of our big oil companies in to do it properly.”
    Trump said that otherwise US troops are “moving out nicely.” [mostly to western Iraq. Must have finished the US military base in Anbar province the US military started in 2018, very close to the Iraq-Syria border in the vicinity of al-Qa’im town, some 400 km northeast of Baghdad. – Kj]
    US Defense Secretary Mark Esper said earlier in Kabul, however, that the US withdrawal would take “weeks not days.”
    “We have troops in towns in northeast Syria that are located next to the oil fields. The troops in those towns are not in the present phase of withdrawal,” Esper said.
    Israelis have been watching Trump’s decisions on Syria closely, concerned that their country too could be abandoned by its most important ally.
    Beyond that, Israel has longstanding concerns over whether its enemy Iran will move to fill any vacuum in neighboring Syria, where Tehran has been supporting President Bashar al-Assad in an eight-year-old civil war.
    Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has also had tense relations with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, a vocal supporter of the Palestinians.
    After the temporary ceasefire was announced, Trump heaped praise on Erdogan, calling him “a hell of a leader.”
    Netanyahu has been careful not to be seen as criticizing Trump, who has been a key supporter, but last week issued a statement saying Israel strongly condemned Turkey’s “invasion of the Kurdish areas in Syria.”
    He also warned “against the ethnic cleansing of the Kurds by Turkey and its proxies.”
    Hosting US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Friday, Netanyahu thanked Pompeo and Trump for their “consistent support for Israel” and hailed the strength of US-Israel ties.
    Commenting on the US-arranged ceasefire in Turkey’s offensive in Syria against Kurdish fighters, the prime minister said mildly that he hoped it would “turn out for the best.”
    On Sunday, US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi led a group of American lawmakers on a visit to Jordan to discuss “the deepening crisis” in Syria.
    Jordan’s state news agency said that King Abdullah II, in a meeting with the Americans, stressed the importance of safeguarding Syria’s territorial integrity and guarantees for the “safe and voluntary” return of refugees.
    HUH? Firstly, the American Civil War was a RACE WAR! Fought between Northern Saxons and Southern Celts.
    CELTS LOSE IN THE END…ALWAYS HAVE ALWAYS WILL!
    The South chose to attack the North for no other purpose than to make war for SPORT!
    If Lee was smart they would have realized that an entrenched army is strategically better off than an attacking one: they should have let the North attack them. DUMB MOVE! But they just couldn’t help themselves…
    It was necessary for the North to attack their ability to make war by MAKING IT PERSONAL. Targeting their women and children is the ONLY way to defeat them. The Gettysburg quote is militarily AND morally correct.
    BURN THEIR HOMES TO THE GROUND! Reduce them to the level of the beasts of the fields in the biblical sense of the word.
    The American Civil War was TOTALLY unnecessary and wasted countless lives and nearly destroyed a civilization. You might want to take a look at Northern Ireland or better yet move there and take a whiff of the nonsense the “Gaels” put the Christians through.
    Bilingual signs in Ireland, Wales and Scotland that cause countless accidents to only to promote a stone age barbaric tongue.
    “We have secured the Syrian oil”
    Understand Trump’s reverse psychology in Syria
    The deep state and its M.S.M. narrative controllers want us to believe that the Syrian occupation is about “protecting human rights,” “deposing brutal Assad,” “helping the oppressed Kurds achieve self-determination,” “exporting democracy” etc. This should come as no surprise as:
    “Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness” (2 Cor 11:14)
    Naturally FAKE NEWS conceals the real agenda which is — to deprive the Syrian government of its main oil fields east of the Euphrates River without which stream of revenue Syria is not a viable economic entity and therefore cannot be a sovereign nation.
    Trump has “inadvertently” exposed this agenda —“we have secured the Syrian oil.”
    The sheeple will never understand, but the Mossad-CIA-Deep state and the MSM narrative controllers must be fuming at this disclosure since —
    “Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed” “(John 3:20 )
    Once the truth comes out the debate will shift as the the position becomes indefensible.
    Global Research: Ms. Pumpkin Head for President: A Nightmare
    By Edward Curtin
    Global Research, October 21, 2019
    A few weeks ago I had a terrifying nightmare, so gruesome was it that I awoke screaming.
    In this dark horror show, I was carving a pumpkin for Halloween. The cap came off easily and I disemboweled the slimy interior quickly, but as I did, I felt a strange sensation on my hand, as if a tongue were biting it.
    When I was finishing carving the face, however, the trouble really started. The pumpkin head came alive as the eyes and mouth moved and then it started speaking in a voice that was familiar but one I couldn’t place.
    Blond hair started sprouting from its head as it started shrieking and bouncing on the table in an hysterical manner.
    I jumped back in fear and trembling as it started cackling, “I running, I running.” Blood ran from between the carved teeth and the blue eyes pulsated with the mania of a serial killer in a horror movie.
    I awoke with a scream when I realized it was Hillary Clinton.
    I felt my dream was prophetic when Clinton, in her slimy manner, attacked Tulsi Gabbard, without naming her, by saying,
    “I’m not making any predictions but I think they’ve [The Russians] got their eye on somebody who is currently in the Democratic primary and are grooming her to be the third-party candidate.
    “She’s the favorite of the Russians. They have a bunch of sites and bots and other ways of supporting her so far.”
    Well, I ain’t making any prediction either; I’m leaving that up to my nightmare to do my talking.
    It tells me that Hillary-O-Lantern, spitting blood, is running and gunning again.
    Lincoln invoked emergency war powers and instituted martial law as we WERE AT WAR and it was needed to preserve the republic AND as it was only TEMPORARY.
    Imperial Capital but America-First Nation
    October 25, 2019 by Patrick J. Buchanan
    Is America still the world’s last superpower with global policing obligations? Or should we shuck off this imperial role and make America, again, in Jeane Kirkpatrick’s phrase, “a normal country in a normal time”?
    “Let someone else fight over this long blood-stained sand,” said President Donald Trump in an impassioned defense of his decision to cut ties to the Syrian Kurds, withdraw and end these “endless wars.”
    Are our troops in Syria, then, on their way home? Well, not exactly.
    Those leaving northern Syria went into Iraq. Other U.S. soldiers will stay in Syria to guard oil wells that we and the Kurds captured in the war with ISIS. Another 150 U.S. troops will remain in al-Tanf to guard Syria’s border with Iraq, at the request of Jordan and Israel.
    And 2,000 more U.S. troops are being sent to Saudi Arabia to help defend the kingdom from Iran, which raises a question: Are we coming or going?
    In his conflicting statements and actions, Trump seemingly seeks to mollify both sides of our national quarrel:
    Is America still the world’s last superpower with global policing obligations? Or should we shuck off this imperial role and make America, again, in Jeane Kirkpatrick’s phrase, “a normal country in a normal time”?
    In Middle America, anti-interventionism has carried the day. As Trump says, no declaration at his rallies is more wildly welcomed than his pledge to end our Middle East wars and bring the troops home.
    But in this imperial capital, the voice of the interventionist yet prevails. The media, the foreign policy elite, the think tanks, the ethnic lobbies, the Pentagon, the State Department, Capitol Hill, are almost all interventionist, opposed to Trump’s abandonment of the Kurds.
    Rand Paul may echo Middle America, but Lindsey Graham speaks for the Republican establishment.
    Yet the evidence seems compelling that anti-interventionism is where the country is at, and the Congress knows it.
    For though the denunciations of Trump’s pullout from Syria have not ceased, one detects no campaign on Capitol Hill to authorize sending U.S. troops back to Syria, in whatever numbers are needed, to enable the Kurds to keep control of their occupied quadrant of that country.
    Love of the Kurds, so audible on the Hill, does not go that far.
    While surely loud, the neocons and liberal interventionists who drown out dissent in D.C. appear to lack the courage of their New World Order convictions.
    In 1940-41, the anti-interventionists of “America First” succeeded in keeping us out of the world war (after Hitler and Stalin invaded Poland in September of 1939 and Britain and France went to war).
    Pearl Harbor united the nation, but not until Dec. 7, 1941, two years later — when America First folded its tents and enlisted.
    Today, because both sides of our foreign policy quarrel have powerful constituencies, we have paralysis anew, reflected in policy.
    We have enough troops in Afghanistan to prevent the Taliban from overrunning Kabul and the big cities, but not enough to win the war.
    In Iraq, which we invaded in 2003 to oust Saddam Hussein and install a democracy, we brought to power the Shia and their Iranian sponsors. Now we battle Iran for political influence in Baghdad.
    Across the Middle East, we have enough troops, planes and ships to prevent our expulsion, but not enough to win the wars from Syria to Yemen to Afghanistan.
    Bahrain in the Persian Gulf is the home base of the U.S. Fifth Fleet. We have 13,000 troops and a major air base at Al Udeid in Qatar. U.S. Army Central Command and 13,000 U.S. troops are in Kuwait.
    Trump has sent more troops to Saudi Arabia, but it was the “infidel” troops’ presence on sacred Saudi soil that was among the reasons Osama bin Laden launched 9/11.
    To the question, “Are we going deeper into the Middle East or coming out?” the answer is almost surely the latter.
    Among the candidates who could be president in 2021 — Trump, Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders — none is an interventionist of the Lindsey Graham school.
    Three are anti-interventionist and anti-war, which may help explain why Democrats are taking a second look at Hillary Clinton.
    According to polls, Iran is first among the nations that Americans regard as an enemy. Still, there is no stomach for war with Iran.
    When Trump declined to order a strike on Iran — after an air and cruise missile attack shut down half of Saudi oil production — Americans, by their silent acquiescence, seemed to support our staying out.
    Yet if there is no stomach in Middle America for war with Iran and a manifest desire to pull the troops out and come home, there is ferocious establishment resistance to any withdrawal of U.S. forces. This has bedeviled Trump through the three years of his presidency.
    Again, it seems a stalemate is in the cards — until there is some new explosion in the Mideast, after which the final withdrawal for America will begin, as it did for the exhausted British and French empires after World War II.
    That we are leaving the Middle East seems certain. Only the departure date is as yet undetermined.
