The BrotherNet is a long term true Internet and digital infrastructure alternative,
and ultimately will be an Internet replacement.
The current Internet was built on the infrastructure of telephone lines, coax cable, and fiber communication lines intended for anything but what the Internet has evolved to today.
Coax cable, originally intended for TV was found to be effective for delivering Internet. Eventually, people stopped using coax for TV and would get TV through their Internet connection in the form of streaming.
This is the goal of The BrotherNet. At first, the Internet will be the primary network used to grow The BrotherNet, but eventually people will primarily access what is left of the Internet through the much bigger and pervasive BrotherNet.
The current Internet was designed to allow free flow of communication and information between people. That free flow of information is what expanded the Internet like nothing we’ve ever seen.
However, the Internet has become poisoned with Jew censors. Jew Censors who want to stop exactly what made the Internet thrive.
BrotherNet is the preemptive solution to a sinking ship.
We could wait until the Internet cannibalizes itself into nothing more than an interactive CNN ad on endless repeat…or we could now begin construction on what will be the next big Internet transitional revolution.

*Rolling back the oppression of free speech and free commerce on the internet by Jewry*
Phase 1A:
The BrotherNet virtual private network, or VPN service, will provide access to the local infrastructure of the BrotherNet as well as access to the rest of the internet.
This VPN would allow anyone with an internet connection to access the BrotherNet.
Phase 1B:
BrotherNet Archival Servers will manage both local websites (accessible only from within the BrotherNet network) as well as external websites that are on the conventional internet.
BrotherNet users can flag a website or video that they think has a high likelihood of being censored and the BN Archival Servers will make a local copy permanently accessible to anyone on the BrotherNet.
When content is inevitably censored from the internet, the BrotherNet servers will first try and load the deleted content. When the page doesn’t load from the internet, the page will be loaded anyway but from the BN Archival Servers along with a small notification at the top of the page, indicating that the page is only accessible to those on the BrotherNet.
Phase 2:
It will also be necessary to create an independent communication medium for phone & email. This can be done at the end of Phase 1, and can be expanded during Phase 3.
Phase 3:
As BrotherNet grows in size and popularity, access may be restricted to the BrotherNet servers on some ISPs. BrotherNet must then become its own ISP, providing direct physical access to the BrotherNet via cell towers, or internet cables.
Internet access will still be possible through the BrotherNet, and censored content supplemented by the BN Archival Servers.
Eventually, it may also be necessary to create a parallel internet backbone depending on funding and level of censorship.
Phase 4:
A financial transaction system will ultimately be necessary, providing access to funding and payment transfers between BrotherNet users.
Phase 5:
As BrotherNet grows, a legal team will be required to manage the inevitable lawsuits surrounding hosting information that is slated for removal from the internet.
Notes: Services can be free initially to build a user base, however, at some point charging money for VPN, physical internet access, communication, and hosting will become lucrative business ventures. Creating a financial transaction company will also yield income.
A BrotherNet ‘Constitution’ of sorts should be drafted. It would outline censorship policies, freedom of speech, and other goals.

Questions:
1) Has their ever been an era of history in the West (both Europe and her various settled lands) where the Ziobankster cabal was defeated and people lived in peace, freedom, and prosperity without evil controlling them?
I also read Stormfront sometimes and see that White Nationalist’s more often than not agree to disagree civilly on religion. Some say that they embrace their pagan European roots and do religion as their pagan ancestors did it.

It isn’t “poison” for us here to go to Wikipedia, as we at least are aware of Wikipedia’s trickery.
But much/most of America isn’t. They see Wikipedia come up near the top of any Google search on a matter and their thinking is formed by, and stops at, what they read there. Jewry is well aware of this.
We CAN tilt the pointer towards truth by adding OR subtracting words in articles there. But:
1. Don’t edit at any one article more than once per day or it’s more likely draw attention and get reverted.
2. There are “hot spots” that are under much scrutiny by Wikipedia “moderators” and anything to do with Jewry is definitely under a magnifying glass.
3. You can do as much good by subtracting or substituting words as you can by adding words. Wikipedia redactors are good at changing the slant of an article by using words in insinuating ways. You too can change the slant of a paragraph by simply substituting or removing one word.

Did you read the latest news that Vladimir Putin is rich and evil? Oh, you don’t read anymore, more power to you. Fake news has it that the Russian president has a new “secret” holiday mansion worth untold millions.
Furthermore, some of the stories tell of Putin being the world’s richest and most evil man. For those of you who do not believe in fairytales, here’s a candid look at what Russians are really up against.
My initial reaction to reading “Drone footage shows Putin’s secret island mansion” at 9 News Australia was, “So what if the leader of Russia is rich?”
I would have skimmed the article and moved on but for a familiar name popping up. I’ll get to the ousted industrialist shark Bill Browder in a minute, but first it’s important for readers to understand that Putin actually has little need of money in the traditional sense.
Every financial magazine, every expert, and hordes of guessing investigators have tried for years to count Vladimir Putin’s gold, and to no avail. Some say he is worth more than Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos combined, but nobody can trace down this immense wealth.
Amid all the speculation as to “why” the Panama Papers could not convict Putin, the pointedly obvious shines through.
Nobody can trace Putin’s fortune because there isn’t one. But this is fodder for another story, let me move on to the latest Alexei Navalny fairytale and to this Browder character cited in the Australian piece.

Having attempted to label Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev a criminal for the places he’s vacationed at, Navalny seems unable to stop himself proving the insignificant.
I think the best reason for Russians to ignore Putin’s biggest detractor is the simple fact he knows nothing of Russian people. Hey Navalny, heads up, Russians don’t care if Putin is rich, they only care if he does his job.

Whatever the reasoning, the Australian article fueled by Navalny’s drone footage dredges up another ousted financial crook who hates Putin’s guts.
Most readers will identify Bill Browder with Hermitage Capital, but few will recall that the investment firm was also funded by one Beny Steimetz, the Israeli oligarch and financier just arrested (August 14) by Israeli and Swiss anti-corruption officials for widescale fraud and money laundering.
The Russia privatization shark who was once Israel’s richest man is a subject for another report. I only bring him up here to point at two facets of this war on Putin.
First, the Jewish connection in all this is something that just needs to come out.

It’s no coincidence that Browder has emerged as a central player in the ongoing investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 elections.

The reader might be surprised to discover the source of the statement “Russia is more dangerous than ISIS” was actually Bill Browder, rather than [Browder’s close pet US senator-Kj] rabid Arizona Senator John McCain.
Or was McCain first? Both Russia haters told reporters of the grave danger to the US at the same time actually, back in May of 2017. Perhaps the narrative of US war hawk politicians and ousted financial henchmen has become just that convergent, but I somehow doubt the coincidence.
Both Browder and McCain contend that Russian President Vladimir Putin used the country’s primary security agency, the Federal Security Service (FSB), to meddle in the U.S. presidential election, but neither has shown any proof of their claims.
I mention this “coincidental” melding of message for obvious reasons. Or maybe McCain and Browder are now pals as this Browder Tweet on McCain returning to the Senate to do battle against Russia after his hospital stent.
What’s most amazing to me is the way FOX and other networks readily use Browder and other suspected criminals without searching out counter arguments for their stories. Maybe Rupert Murdoch can answer that one. And so on, and so on, and so on…
Every time I start researching for one of these stories I end up in a deep and dark rabbit hole of collusion and confusion. In each and every case I end up with Vladimir Putin stoically defending a position against wild assertions with no proof whatsoever.
The big picture of the “game” by now is like watching a schoolyard name calling and finger pointing contest.
The iconic bullies and thugs are on one end of the yard, while their target stands virtually alone looking as innocent as a lamb for a variety of reasons. It’s become ridiculous, but there’s always more.

An article by Alexander Azadgan at KATEHON expands on the Jewish money component, and reiterates the possibility of Putin nationalizing the CBR.
Given new sanctions by the US and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev describing them as “full scale economic war” waged on Russia, it’s important to observe Putin’s moves east and especially the new BRICS dealings.
For Russians, it matters little if Vladimir Putin has 100 yachts and fifty mansions, as long as Russia is not raped and destroyed by the unscrupulous of the world.

Off-Guardian: Caspian Sea Agreement Symptomatic of Wider Geopolitical Changes
On 12 August 2018 the five littoral states to the Caspian Sea (Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkmenistan) signed an historic agreement governing the use of the Caspian Sea. The negotiations had been ongoing for more than 20 years.
One of the issues was with the Caspian should be regarded as a sea (it is salty but completely enclosed) or a lake.
If the former, then it would be governed by the international law of the sea. If defined as a lake, then the resources would be divided equally between the five States.
In the event, the five nations agreed to accord it ‘a special status,’ neither lake nor sea. Whether this unique formulation will be recognised by non-littoral States is an open question.
There are several significant elements to the Caspian Sea Convention (CSC) that are worthy of note.
The first aspect is the size of the resources at stake. The Caspian Sea basin is known to hold 50 billion barrels of oil in proven reserves, and nearly 9 trillion cubic metres of natural gas. To put that in perspective, the gas reserves are greater then the entire known United States reserves.
The agreement signed on 12 August gave each of the five states a 15 nautical mile exclusive territorial zone, plus a further 10 nautical mile exclusive fishing zone.
The balance of the sea area was for common use. Its economic development would therefore be a joint exercise with the benefits equally shared. A Caspian Economic Forum was also established to determine, inter alia, the practical means and effects of such cooperation.
The second aspect of the agreement relates to security arrangements. All non-littoral States are forbidden to have foreign military bases.
This is specifically directed at NATO, which continues its encroachment and attempted encroachment in all nations with proximity to Russia.
Russia is the underwriter of security in the Caspian, a factor that increases its geopolitical strength viz a viz other nations, and in particular Iran that is looking increasingly to secure arrangements unaffected by the unilateral sanctions imposed by the United States.
Both Russia and China are developing closer economic and political ties with Iran. Both countries have made significant investments in Iranian infrastructure and resource development.
Iran is also a pivotal State in China’s Belt and Road Initiative. Neither Russia nor China are likely to tolerate overt aggression against Iran of the type advocated by some of the more extreme neocon elements of the US administration.
That does not preclude those same elements increasing the intensity of the hybrid warfare waged against Iran for many years, including overt support for the terrorist MEK group.
Hybrid warfare is also the main means by which the US will seek to undermine China’s Belt and Road Initiative, as overt warfare is now, as the Rand Corporation acknowledged recently, “unthinkable.”
The leaders of Iran and Kazakhstan also held separate meetings, an object of which in part was to establish economic links bypassing the United States dollar.
This also reflects a developing trend of a move away from the US dollar, the ramifications of which are potentially enormous.
The third major consequence is in the links between some members of the CSA and related Eurasian organisations. Iran had earlier this year signed a free trade agreement with the Eurasian Economic Union, (EAEU) two of whose members, Kazakhstan and Russia are also parties to the CSC.
Iran is an observer State (and likely full member soon) of the Shanghai Corporation Organisation. That organization’s full members include CSC States Russia and Kazakhstan, as well as neighbouring Pakistan and fellow SCO observer State Afghanistan.
A resolution of the long running Afghanistan war will require the co-operation of Afghanistan’s Central Asian neighbours, all of whom are members of the SCO.
The CSC therefore represents a further step in the significant shift of geopolitical power to the Eurasian heartland.
Although China was not a party to the CSC it is nonetheless the dominant economic power in the region, with close ties to the CSC signatories, particularly through the SCO, but also with non-member States such as Turkmenistan from whom it is a major importer of natural gas.
Although there are important differences between the Caspian Sea and the South China Sea, there are also lessons that can be drawn.
Following the recent ASEAN meeting in Singapore, the ASEAN nations and China announced that they had agreed upon a new draft code of conduct for the littoral States of the South China Sea. Those negotiations had also been very lengthy.
The draft code of conduct underscores the importance of those nations most affected by the issues in dispute being the ones best able to formulate a resolution when they are able to do so.
Those negotiations arguably have a better chance of success, absent the involvement of outside countries such as the United States and Australia.
The actions and statements of those two nations demonstrate an inability to promote a peaceful resolution of the South China Sea issues, preferring instead a provocative and confrontational methodology.
The Caspian Sea Convention and the South China Sea code of conduct provide evidence that an alternative model is available.

“Saakashvili’s War” against South Ossetia and Abkhazia was the first, highly symbolic failed Central Asian gambit of aggression by the Judeo-West’s proxie and McCain’s favorite NATO aspirant of the day.

Both the “exceptional” US and Israhell had the hands deeply involved. US military was actively involved as drill instructors and advisors training the Georgian army to attack a virtually defenseless, weak Caucasus nation with only Russian peace-keeping forces which incorporated many of the South Ossetians.
Israel-Georgian relations are extremely close. There are 120,000 Georgian Jews living in Israel, as well as 13,000 in Georgia. During Saakashvili’s War, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Israel recognized the territorial integrity of Georgia as being inclusive of South Ossetia, and called for a peaceful solution.
Leading up to the war, Israel engaged in extensive military cooperation with Georgia. Israel sold Georgia armored vehicles and small arms, and Israeli special forces and private contractors also trained Georgian troops. Israel sold Georgia its fleet of UAVs, LAR-160 rocket launchers, anti-tank mines, and cluster bombs used in the offensive on South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
On 5 August 2008, it was reported by Russia Today that Israel planned to halt arms sales to Georgia due to Russian objections.

The night of August 7, Georgian forces launched an attack on Tskhinvali, which Tbilisi cynically described as an effort to restore the constitutional order. Just hours earlier, Saakashvili declared a ceasefire in the conflict zone, but the move was only a propaganda maneuver disguising the plan for a large-scale offensive. The timing is carefully chosen – the attention worldwide is focused on the opening of the Olympic Games, Russian Prime MinisterV. Putin is in Beijing, and Russian President D. Medvedev is on a short vacation.
Georgian forces are acting with extreme ferocity. A total devastation of the Tskhinvali downtown which came under Grad missile, artillery, mortar, and machinegun fire has been reported. Dozens of blasts shatter the city every minute. Tens of armored vehicles and thousands of soldiers moved into the conflict zone. Russian Peacekeeping Force Deputy Commander V. Ivanov said that the positions of the peacekeepers were not directly targeted or hit and that they continue to watch the situation in the region. However, the Ossetian side and Russian journalists say that the peacekeepers’ headquarters came under fire.

It is symbolic that Tbilisi launched the aggression on the anniversary of the fall of the Republic of Serbian Krajina. Its demise became a prologue to the next phase of the Balkan war – to the war in Kosovo, the NATO strikes on Serbia, and the humiliation and partition of the country.
It has been said many times that the West is reusing the Balkan scenario in the Caucasus, and that this time Russia is planned to play the role of Serbia. The Komisar Scoop: The New Yorker’s fake Browder story

How do you get credibility for a story that is mostly lies? You throw in a few negatives about the person you are going to white-wash.
Then you repeat all his unproved assertions as if they were fact. And you don’t bother to provide evidence.
And you ignore the major story you ought to be telling: how conman William Browder got western governments and media to block the Russians from collecting some $70 million he owes on taxes and illicit stock buys. And how that helped provoke ColdWar 2.0.
Joshua Yaffa’s article about William Browder in the current New Yorker is a classic. Whatever happened to the New Yorker’s famed fact-checkers?
First, the agenda is in the subhead “why the West should confront Putin.” Yaffa is a fellow at the neocon New America think tank. So, the purpose of the article is not to shed light on Browder’s story, it is to build hostility to Russia.
Let’s go through his article.
The Trump-Putin press conference, where Yaffa says, “Putin falsely claimed that Browder’s business associates had earned more than $1.5 billion in Russia and “never paid any taxes,” and that Browder had donated some four hundred million dollars of this money to Hillary Clinton’s Presidential campaign.”
Indeed, Putin may have gotten the numbers wrong. We know that Browder cheated on at least $70 million in taxes and illicit stock buys. Whether that is based on $1.5 billion profits, I don’t know. Depends on the rates. And the donation to Clinton is also confused.
Digging down, the point is that the Ziff Brothers Russian investments were handled by Browder, who helped them evade taxes on their profits through Cypriot offshores, and that they made contributions to the Democrats.
So it’s a messy claim with no evidence. Putin, like the rest of us outside US power structures, doesn’t know how political money moves. Yaffa explains none of this.
Yaffa talks about “Browder’s decade-long campaign against Russian corruption.”
But outside the West, Browder’s honesty was not widely accepted. According to Anton Verzhbitsky, writing in Russia Forbes Nov 16, 2016, “Brokers joked that after leaving Bill’s office, it’s worth checking to see if any of your pockets were missing, says one of the financiers who worked with him.”
Particularly, Browder made charges against Russian companies in order to profit by manipulating their stock prices. But that’s another story.
Yaffa writes, “In 2009, Browder’s tax adviser Sergei Magnitsky testified that the Russian police and tax authorities had attempted to steal two hundred and thirty million dollars in Russian taxes paid by Browder’s Moscow-based investment firm, Hermitage Capital. Magnitsky was arrested, and died in a pretrial detention center in Moscow.”
That is conflating and composting (as in mulch). First of all, if the arrest followed the testimony, the careful fact-checkers at the New Yorker got the year wrong.
Magnitsky was arrested in November 2008, not 2009. That testimony was nearly a year after he was imprisoned. (Dates, fact-checkers?) Makes you think Yaffa doesn’t have a clue about the chronology of Magnitsky’s interrogation and detention.
Magnitsky indeed said in an October 13, 2008 testimony before his arrest that “Mr. Kuznetsov, an operative official of the Tax Crime Department of the Moscow Branch of the Interior Ministry, … organized a fabricated criminal case on non-existent grounds, initiated searches in the office of Hermitage and Firestone Duncan.
“During such searches the officers, who conducted such searches, were given the lists of the legal entities that were controlled by my client, but have no relation to “Kameya” against which activity the criminal case was instituted.”
“The said lists contained also the names of the subsequently stolen companies. In the course of the searches the original copies of all statutory documents and registration documents were confiscated and without such documents it is impossible to effect re-registration of the legal entities.”
He said the documents were used to reregister the companies and allow scam artists to use them to claim refund of taxes. His testimonies.
Except this was not a discovery; it had already been reported in July 2008 in the daily Vedomosti in Moscow and the New York Times!

Yaffa’s claim of a 2009 testimony must refer to the statement of October 13, 2009, which was the first time Magnitsky even mentioned the June 2007 raid, first time he made a charge against the Russian officers.
Oleg Lurie, a journalist Magnitsky talked to in detention, said in a US court deposition that Magnitsky told him he had been pressed by his employers to make this statement.
By chance I had met Lurie when I was in Moscow in 2000 and talked to him about his investigation of the theft of the IMF $4.8 million loan to Russia that went through the Republic National Bank run by Browder’s investor Edmond Safra, so I knew he was credible as an investigator of Russian corruption.

Mint Press News: American Television Audiences Don’t Care for Palestinian Lives – Just Ask the Networks
Not a single mainstream television network in the United States carried any mention of Israel’s barrage of 140 bombs and missiles directed at Gaza on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, Israel carried out a 24-hour, round-the-clock military assault on Gaza, one of the most densely populated places on earth, killing at least three Palestinians, including a 23-year-old pregnant mother and her 18-month-old daughter.
Images of the young family’s blood splattered home trickled out onto the Internet, but that’s pretty much where much of the media’s reporting of Israel’s latest effort to ramp up its most recent and ongoing siege of the embattled Palestinian enclave started and ended.
Not a single mainstream television network in the United States carried any mention of Israel’s barrage of 140 bombs and missiles directed at Gaza on Wednesday, which came on the back of a sustained Israeli effort to break the will of Palestinian resistance since the Great Return Marchbegan more than four months ago.
Since March 30, Israel has killed more than 150 unarmed Palestinian protesters, alongside a number of slain medics and journalists in Gaza. According to Palestinian health officials, more than 16,000 have been wounded.
You wouldn’t know any of this, however, if your sole or primary source of information comes courtesy of mainstream television networks. When a Palestinian, who after years of subjugation, knowing nothing but a permanent state of Israeli military occupation, carries out an act of random violence in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem, US television networks not only carry round-the-clock reports of the attack, but also with headlines that sensationalize and decontextualize the violence, such as “Terror in Tel Aviv: Palestinian Stabs Israeli Man to Death.”
When Palestinians are systematically slaughtered en masse, however, like they were when the Israeli military killed 59 unarmed protesters in a single day on the day of the opening of the US embassy in Jerusalem in May, their deaths were described benignly as “confrontations,” and when Israel carries out an all-out assault on Gaza, the contest between the region’s most powerful military and the Palestinian civilian population is described as a “war.”
Noam Chomsky, the famed MIT professor and linguist, eloquently and famously called Israel’s violence for what it is when he stated, “Israel uses sophisticated attack jets and naval vessels to bomb densely-crowded refugee camps, schools, apartment blocks, mosques, and slums to attack a population that has no air force, no air defense, no navy, no heavy weapons, no artillery units, no mechanized armor, no command in control, no army… and calls it a war. It is not a war, it is murder!”
On the odd occasion Western media outlets do factually report Israel’s indiscriminate and intentional use of violent force to murder Palestinians, it’s typically followed by either a story that “balances” out a “both sides” narrative, usually involving comments from an Israeli spokesperson or military commander, or the original report is edited in a way that suggests the original story hadn’t passed the desk of Israeli government censors.
The BBC News is case in point. On Wednesday, the British government-controlled news agency tweeted a succinct and error-free headline regarding Israel’s 24-hour bombardment of Gaza. The headline read, “Israeli air strikes kill woman and toddler.”
Within moments of posting the tweet, Israeli online trolls and government officials swamped BBC News Twitter account, with Israel’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Emmanuel Nahshon, demanding the network change the headline “immediately.”
Change it immediately, the BBC News did. The network deleted the original tweet, replacing it with, “Gaza air strikes kill woman and child after rockets hit Israel.”
First of all, no Israelis were killed by these rockets, which typically fall harmlessly in empty fields adjourning Gaza.
Secondly, only one Israeli soldier has been killed during the same period more than 150 unarmed Palestinians have been killed and more than 15,000 wounded by the Israeli military.
Thirdly, the Israeli military recently and openly admitted it is targeting the populated civilian areas in Gaza, “so residents feel the price of the escalation and demand explanations from Hamas.”
Hamas, the product of Israeli creation, is again being used as a fig leaf by Israel to ‘justify’ its 70-year long ongoing effort to ethnically cleanse Palestine of the Palestinian people, while the US media goes along for the ride, echoing both Israel and the Trump administration’s propaganda.
When Israelis gunned down nearly 60 peaceful and already engaged Palestinian protesters in a single day in May, US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley shamelessly blamed Hamas, even though Hamas had nothing to do with the Great Return March protests.
In turn, an Israeli friendly US media amplifies these lies, particularly outlets aligned with right-wing politics. FOX News, for instance, blamed Palestinians for their own deaths, framing unarmed protesters as “instigators.”
The near-total blackout of coverage on Israel’s air assault on Gaza this week in the US media speaks to something even more sinister, however.
What television networks chose to cover reflects both the preferences of producers and the interests of their respective audiences. Networks are driven by a single motive: profit, which is driven by ratings.
In choosing not to cover Israel’s latest round of unjustifiable violence against the Palestinian people, American audiences are conveying to their most watched news programs that they care not one iota for Palestinian lives.
And that, right there, is the most damning indictment of all!

TEHRAN (FNA)- Spokesman of Iraq’s Kata’ib Hezbollah (Hezbollah Battalions) Jafar al-Hosseini said Washington has failed in its plots to cut off Syria and Lebanon from Iran and Iraq, and stressed strong opposition to the US military deployment in Iraqi territories.
“The US project to separate Syria and Lebanon from Iraq and Iran by imposing control over the bordering areas has failed,” al-Hosseini said in an interview with the Arabic-language al-Mayadeen news channel on Monday.
“The US has understood that it cannot use Iraq as a leverage against Iran,” he added.
Al-Hosseini said that Hashd al-Shaabi and other groups which are opposed to the US presence in Iraq have the superior hand in the country, saying that the Iraqi borders should be controlled by the Iraqi forces, and the Hezbollah forces will not allow deployment of the US forces at the bordering areas.
His remarks came after a spokesman for the US-led coalition purportedly fighting Daesh (ISIS or ISIL) announced that American forces would stay in Iraq “as long as needed”, amid reports that the terrorist group is making a comeback in Iraq and neighboring Syria.
“We’ll keep troops there as long as we think they’re needed,” Army Colonel Sean Ryan, a spokesman for the US-led coalition against Daesh, told a press conference held in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Middle East News reported.
“The main reason, after ISIS is defeated militarily, is the stabilization efforts and we still need to be there for that, so that’s one of the reasons we’ll maintain a presence,” he added.
Daesh’s presence has recently been purged from Iraq after the terrorist group overran much of the territory in Northern and Western Iraq in 2014.

Bolton: U.S. will act ‘strongly’ if Syria uses chemical weapons again
Aug. 22 (UPI) — U.S. national security adviser John Bolton warned Wednesday the United States will act “very strongly” if Syria uses chemical weapons to retake Idlib province.
Bolton made the remarks at a news conference in Jerusalem.
A wave of air attacks in recent weeks that hit the Idlib region, a refuge for displaced Syrian civilians and rebels, could be a prelude to a full-scale government offensive.
“We now see plans for the Syrian regime to resume offensive military activities in Idlib province,” Bolton said. “We are obviously concerned about the possibility that Assad may use chemical weapons again.
“Just so there’s no confusion here, if the Syrian regime uses chemical weapons we will respond very strongly and they really ought to think about this a long time.”
Bolton’s comments came months after United Nations High Representative for Disarmament Affairs Izumi Nakamitsu urged a “meaningful response” to suspected chemical weapons in Syria. At the time, nine people had been treated for breathing problems after a bomb filled with toxic gas fell on Idlib.
Tuesday marked the five-year anniversary of a chemical weapons attack on Ghouta that drew global condemnation and prompted U.N. Security Council members in the United States, Britain and France to vow to act if Assad’s forces use chemical weaponry again.
“Our position on the Assad regime’s use of chemical weapons is unchanged,” a joint statement the council members said. “As we have demonstrated, we will respond appropriately to any further use of chemical weapons by the Syrian regime, which has had such devastating humanitarian consequences for the Syrian population.”
During his visit to Jerusalem, Bolton also met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman.
Bolton said the discussions focused largely on a nuclear threat from Iran and Tehran’s presence in Syria, adding that Israeli strikes on Iranian targets in Syria are “a legitimate act of self-defense.”
The Trump administration last year withdrew from the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, reimposing economic sanctions that had been lifted. Additional sanctions were added this month. Wednesday, Bolton said the United States will keep up pressure Iran to abandon its nuclear program.
“We’re not just going to stop at where the sanctions were in 2015. Our goal, our objective really is essentially we’d like to say no waivers to the sanctions,” he said.
Bolton will travel to Geneva next to meet with his Russian counterpart.
