It was at Berghof, Hitler’s Bavarian mountain retreat, in the spring of 1942.
Gathered for consultation: Generals Mussolini, Jodl, Hitler, Keitel, and Greim, had the look of anticipated victory on their faces.
Two years later at Berghof: Hitler, his Generals, and Mussolini, met again, but this time minus their former bravado.
Things were going badly.
To the east, Russia, after retaking Crimea, was advancing toward Romania.
To the west, Allied forces planted a beachhead in Normandy in the invasion they called D-Day. [Clip]

Worse still, nursing a premonition that some ill event was about to happen to him, Hitler’s hunch saw that famous “briefcase bomb”—aimed to assassinate—engulfing him in a yellow fiery flame.
The accused included Erwin Rommel—the “Desert Fox”—who failing to erect the “Atlantic Wall” along the French coast much to Hitler’s vexation, now added insult to injury.
He met with a bad end by popping a cyanide capsule into his mouth in a forced suicide.
In love and war timing is everything.
What suitor ever slighted his lover? What soldier ever turned his guns on himself? What war hero ever died in denial?
Yet, Hitler was warned not to bring Germany into any military conflict whatsoever by Oswald Spengler in his 1933 book, “The Hour Of Decision.”
Although Hitler made several offers of peace to all the nations of Europe, albeit declined, Spengler still cautioned Hitler that any provocation would endanger Germany. [Clip]

That’s what happened.
And the catalyst for the onslaught was lit by Hitler’s antagonists.
It was US Ambassador to Britain, Joseph Kennedy, who related to Defense Secretary, James Forrestal, that Neville Chamberlain told him that, “World Jewry forced England into war.”

Reviewed by The Forward, Benjamin Ginsburg’s book, “How The Jews Defeated Hitler,” gives one reason how:

Putin has a different strategy and so far it’s working.
As demoralized and decadent as this country is, I don’t think it can reverse the trend without serious suffering.
I find this somewhat confusing.
I suppose because I don’t know what you really think about it. Or maybe your opinion on the war was so subtle in the video that I missed it. Lately Hitler is starting to come out of obscurity to be understood by our dumbed-down generation, at least in his own context.
We’ve been propagandized so much from kindergarten on that we don’t know which end is up.
The Hitler taboo is so ingrained into the minds of the children of the West that we find it disturbing to find sometimes that we are in agreement with him in some respects, after we wake up to the Jewish manipulation of our country in the US, still today as you pointed out. For this reason, many of us voted for Trump to clear out the swamp of the Jews, only to find that Trump is wholly controlled by the Jews and the wars for them still continue unabated.
So I’m wondering if there is about 4 or 5 factions of Jews in the US. One who worships Satan and want world domination, another who want world domination by secular atheistic means, another who still mourn for the destruction of the Temple in AD 70 and maybe yet another that is sitting back and pulling the strings to get to world domination by any means currently in vogue.
To me it gets confusing because they all hide in the dark and don’t care a wit about the People of the US.

Adolf Hitler never wanted war; he had gone through the hell of WWI, so he knew exactly what another war of this type would be like.
The Germans even dropped leaflets with the text of his peace speech before the Reichstag over London, hoping the Brits would call the war off, but the warmongering Prime Minister, Winston Churchill, would have none of it, and the war went on.

Rescue Mission to Stop Mass Killings

The European war was started over the Danzig corridor that had been part of Germany for over 500 years until the area was put under control of the Polish federal government in 1919 because of the Versailles Treaty.
In 1938 Franklin Roosevelt (president of the US federal government) gave Churchill assurances that the US federal government would supply weapons and troops if the United Kingdom attacked Germany. On March 31, 1939, Britain and France guarantee Poland’s defense (Anglo French Assurance Pact ).
Emboldened by Roosevelt and Churchill guarantees, Ignacy Moscicki (President of Poland) and Rydz Smigly (leader of Poland’s army) threatened to attack Germany. Smigly said, “Poland wants war with Germany, and Germany will not be able to avoid war, even if Germany tries to prevent war”. Smigly threatened to overrun Germany in three days.
In the months leading up to the German rescue mission in Poland in September 1939, the Polish Army and independent Bolshevist units had been slaughtering German nationals in the Danzig corridor (an area that had been part of Germany before 1919) — mass killings of thousands of civilian ethnic Germans (Volksdeutsche).
This attack against Germany started before September 1939. An estimated 58,000 German civilians lost their lives in the massacres carried out prior to the German rescue mission in Poland in September 1939.
The Polish-British Common Defense Pact (signed on August 25, 1939, between representatives of the United Kingdom and Poland) was an addition to the Franco-Polish Military Alliance. The pact contained promises of mutual military assistance between the nations in the event of war against Germany.
In case of war between Poland and Germany, the United Kingdom was to start hostilities as soon as possible, initially helping Poland with air raids against the German war industry, and joining the struggle on land as soon as the British Expeditionary Corps arrived in France. In addition, a military credit was granted, and shipments of weapons of war from the United Kingdom were to reach Polish ports in early autumn 1939.
The Polish-British Common Defense Pact was preceded by a written “guarantee” of military assistance, issued by the governments of France and England to Poland on March 30, 1939. Both the guarantee and the pact were directed specifically against a possible German invasion, and pledged to defend Polish independence.
Neither document pledged to protect Poland’s territorial integrity; this was quite deliberate, since it was believed that Germany could be appeased if Poland gave back the Danzig corridor that had been part of Germany for over 500 years.
This was indeed Germany’s frequent outward demand to the Polish government, a demand that Poland refused to meet. Because of careful wording and other factors, Adolf Hitler was led to believe that England and France wished to avoid war.
Germany and Poland had agreed upon a formula giving Germany access across the Danzig Corridor. Thomas Woodrow Wilson (president of the US federal government) in 1919 created the Danzig Corridor that divided Germany into two halves. The Danzig Corridor was a strip of German territory that was put under the control of the federal government of Poland.
According to Benjamin Freedman’s book, The Hidden Tyranny, published in 1971, at the instigation of Khazarian Talmudists at the Versailles Peace Conference the Danzig Corridor was created in order to keep Germany weak.
Crossing the Danzig Corridor from western Germany to eastern Germany or vice versa was like traveling from one country to another country. Due to inconveniences, delays, and annoyances, Germany and Poland had finally worked out their acceptable arrangement that eliminated a majority of German objections to the Danzig Corridor.
Germany and Poland reached a basis that would serve to prevent Germany’s resort to more aggressive action. Khazarian Talmudists throughout the world opposed the peaceful adjustment between Germany and Poland of the Danzig Corridor situation. Unrestricted access of traffic between the western half and eastern half of Germany would soon make Germany again the most powerful nation in the world.
Shortly before the agreement with Germany was to be signed, Poland secretly signed a treaty with Great Britain (The Polish-British Common Defense Pact dated August 25, 1939). This treaty contained promises of mutual military assistance between the nations in the event of war against Germany. With that assurance from Great Britain, Poland broke off negotiations with Germany.
Poland’s unexplained discontinuance of negotiations with Germany to complete the Danzig Corridor agreement resulted in German troops moving into the Danzig Corridor without an agreement. The German troops were on a rescue mission to stop mass killings of thousands of civilian ethnic Germans (Volksdeutsche) living in that area of Poland.
During 1939 Franklin Roosevelt (president of the US federal government) tried to get the US into the war in Europe to accommodate Khazarian Talmudists in the US. Germany exercised extraordinary caution not to provide the US with justification under international law to declare war against Germany.
Franklin Roosevelt decided that if it were impossible for him to get into the war in Europe through the front door that he would get the US into the war in Europe through the back door. Through the back door meant through Japan.
Germany and Japan had a treaty saying that if either Germany or Japan were attacked by a third power, the nation that was not attacked by the third power automatically would be at war with that third power.
Franklin Roosevelt worked hard to get Japan to attack the US Navy at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, as part of his effort to get the US into a war with Germany. After a carefully designed propaganda presentation about the Pearl Harbor attack was delivered by the US mass media to US citizens, Franklin Roosevelt was able to get a declaration of war against Japan from the US Congress, and the US automatically was at war with Germany.
The personal diary of the Honorable Mr. Henry L. Stimson and all his papers are in Yale University library. Mr. Stimson each day entered in his personal diary in his own handwriting the important events in his life that day. Mr. Stimson was Franklin Roosevelt’s Secretary of War.
Mr. Stimson’s diary was introduced as evidence in the United States Senate investigation of the attack on the US Navy at Pearl Harbor by Japan over the strong objections of friends of Franklin Roosevelt.
Mr. Stimson entered in his diary on November 25, 1941, two weeks before Japan’s attack on the US Navy at Pearl Harbor, that at a meeting with Franklin Roosevelt and his Cabinet that morning, Franklin Roosevelt told those present that he wished to be at war with Japan but that he did not want it to appear that the United States fired the first shot.
Along with other provocations, Franklin Roosevelt advised Japan that Japan could not purchase oil and scrap steel from the United States. Japan was in the midst of a war against China. The attack on the US Navy at Pearl Harbor was part of Japan’s effort to get oil and scrap steel that was needed to prevent Japan from being defeated by China.

The Brits had none with 50 kills. I think the top American pilot had 13 and that came when the war was almost over against untrained German pilots.
In every branch of the military German soldiers were far braver, far better and far more competent than any of the allied soldiers.
Their submarine corps was swamped with volunteers when it had 60% casualties.
Panzer Willy single handedly destroyed more than 100 American tanks at the Battle of the Bulge and many after he ran out of ammo. He rammed them.
Compare the incredibly spirited German soldiers in WW2 to Americans in Viet Nam. Gordon Duff, who was there, says half the American officer fatalities came from being shot in the back by their own troops.
One is left with the impression that the German army was as highly motivated as it was because they knew, the right thing to do, was to destroy the international Jew.

Now Mattis Admits There Was No Evidence Assad Used Poison Gas On His People
Newsweek (Opinion – Ian Wilkie):
Lost in the hyper-politicized hullabaloo surrounding the Nunes Memorandum and the Steele Dossier was the striking statement by Secretary of Defense James Mattis that the U.S. has “no evidence” that the Syrian government used the banned nerve agent Sarin against its own people.
This assertion flies in the face of the White House (NSC) Memorandum which was rapidly produced and declassified to justify an American Tomahawk missile strike against the Shayrat airbase in Syria.
Mattis offered no temporal qualifications, which means that both the 2017 event in Khan Sheikhoun and the 2013 tragedy in Ghouta are unsolved cases in the eyes of the Defense Department and Defense Intelligence Agency.
Mattis went on to acknowledge that “aid groups and others” had provided evidence and reports but stopped short of naming President Assad as the culprit.
There were casualties from organophosphate poisoning in both cases; that much is certain.
But America has accused Assad of direct responsibility for Sarin attacks and even blamed Russia for culpability in the Khan Sheikhoun tragedy.
Now its own military boss has said on the record that we have no evidence to support this conclusion.
In so doing, Mattis tacitly impugned the interventionists who were responsible for pushing the “Assad is guilty” narrative twice without sufficient supporting evidence, at least in the eyes of the Pentagon.
This dissonance between the White House and the Department of Defense is especially troubling when viewed against the chorus of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) experts who have been questioning the (Obama and Trump) White House narratives concerning chemical weapons in Syria since practically the moment these “Assad-ordered events” occurred.
Serious, experienced chemical weapons experts and investigators such as Hans Blix, Scott Ritter, Gareth Porter and Theodore Postol have all cast doubt on “official” American narratives regarding President Assad employing Sarin.
These analysts have all focused on the technical aspects of the two attacks and found them not to be consistent with the use of nation-state quality Sarin munitions.
The 2013 Ghouta event, for example, employed home-made rockets of the type favored by insurgents.
The White House Memorandum on Khan Sheikhoun seemed to rely heavily on testimony from the Syrian White Helmets who were filmed at the scene having contact with supposed Sarin-tainted casualties and not suffering any ill effects.
Likewise, these same actors were filmed wearing chemical weapons training suits around the supposed “point of impact” in Khan Sheikhoun, something which makes their testimony (and samples) highly suspect.
A training suit offers no protection at all, and these people would all be dead if they had come into contact with real military-grade Sarin.
Chemical weapons are abhorrent and illegal, and no one knows this more than Carla Del Ponte.
She, however, was unable to fulfill her U.N. Joint Investigative Mechanism mandate in Syria and withdrew in protest over the United States refusing to fully investigate allegations of chemical weapons use by “rebels” (jihadis) allied with the American effort to oust President Assad (including the use of Sarin by anti-Assad rebels).
The fact that U.N. investigators were in Syria when the chemical weapon event in Khan Sheikhoun occurred in April 2017 makes it highly dubious that Assad would have given the order to use Sarin at that time.
Common sense suggests that Assad would have chosen any other time than that to use a banned weapon that he had agreed to destroy and never employ.
Furthermore, he would be placing at risk his patronage from Russia if they turned on him as a war criminal and withdrew their support for him.
Tactically, as a former soldier, it makes no sense to me that anyone would intentionally target civilians and children as the White Helmet reports suggest he did.
There is compelling analysis from Gareth Porter suggesting that phosphine could have been released by an airborne munition striking a chemical depot, since the clouds and casualties (while organophosphate-appearing in some respects) do not appear to be similar to MilSpec Sarin, particularly the high-test Russian bomb-carried Sarin which independent groups like “bellingcat” insist was deployed.
America’s credibility was damaged by Colin Powell at the United Nations in 2003 falsely accusing Saddam Hussein of having mobile anthrax laboratories. Fast forward to 2017 and we encounter Nikki Haley in an uncomfortably similar situation at the U.N. Security Council calling for action against yet another non-Western head-of-state based on weak, unsubstantiated evidence.
Now Secretary Mattis has added fuel to the WMD propaganda doubters’ fire by retroactively calling into question the rationale for an American cruise missile strike.
While in no way detracting from the horror of what took place against innocent civilians in Syria, it is time for America to stop shooting first and asking questions later.

The Traditional Catholic Mass was “modernised” by the “New Order of the Mass” at the Second Vatican Council in the 60’s, along with The Beatles, hippies, sex, drugs and whatever.

I was a keen student of the Tridentine Rite Mass and much to my horror after my missal had been stolen discovered that the online versions have been subtlety but lethally attacked.

Why they are still up in their present form is a mystery to me.

Breaking: Syrian forces down Israeli fighter jet near occupied Golan Heights
At approximately 6:30 A.M. (2/10) this morning, an Israeli F-16 fighter jet was shot down while flying over the western countryside of Damascus.
According to preliminary reports from Damascus, the F-16’s pilots were able to eject from their planes after it was struck by an anti-aircraft missile.
The two pilots are safe and landed in Israeli territory.
Israeli media claims the F-16 was downed by an Iranian drone that was flying along the Israeli-Syrian border; however, pro-government media claims the aircraft was downed by the Syrian Air Defense.
The downing of this Israeli F-16 marks the first time during this war that an Israeli warplane has been shot down.

As regards German motivation during WW2. There was an ancient philosopher, who in regards to the Spartans said , “They never asked how large the enemy army was. They only asked where they are”.
Eric Hartman, the worlds foremost fighter pilot with 350 kills, was no different. There is a YouTube interview with him wherin he is asked how he got so many kills.
He said it was easy to do because at the end of the war there were only 4 or 5 German fighter pilots left and there were 5,000 Allied fighter aircraft in the air at any one time so they were easy to find.
Hartman, like the Spartans, didn’t ask how many enemy aircraft there were. He just asked where they were.
An even more effective German pilot was the Stuka pilot Hans Ulrich Rudel. He sank Russia’s largest battleship and two heavy cruisers alone. He destroyed more than 500 Russian tanks and killed more than 10,000 Russian soldiers. He shot down 9 fighter planes in dog fights while flying a bomber. He was shot down more than 30 times, had one leg blown off but was never captured and never quit fighting.
That is the kind of motivation people have when they are allowed to take the bit in their teeth and fight the international Jew.
As regards the American fighter pilots. I once met a Canadian Spitfire pilot who had three kills in his logbook. One was an Me-109. The other two were American planes. I think they were called Bearcats but I just forget the name of the plane.
He said the American pilots could not tell an ME 109 from a Spitfire and that he had been attacked far more by the US airforce than by the German airforce. Eventually an ME 109 shot him down and he spent the rest of the war in a German prisoner of war camp.

The useless Battle of the Bulge is firm proof. Hitler could have fought very hard in the East and cunningly surrendered land in the West. Hitler could have made sure that the USA and Britain got all of Germany and Austria, plus maybe half of Poland or more.

How would Stalin ever have defeated all of Europe, when he only won WWII at all with huge nonstop military aid from the British and the USA?
The UK impoverished their own nation for ever so as to help the Communists. The USA and Britain gave Stalin military supplies for free. The British had to pay their US ally, for everything the UK received.
Tiny Finland almost defeated the gigantic invading Soviet Army in 1940, which showed that the Soviets were by no means invincible when invading foreign nations.
Poland also defeated the Soviets in 1922 in the same situation, Commies trying to invade. Stalin had weakened his own Army about 1938 by killing many of the best officers – as much as 90% of the General Staff, down to 10% or so of Captains.
Morale must have been at rock bottom. Why fight and die for someone who intends to kill you, and has already killed your friends and relatives?
The British war guarantee to Poland would have meant that Stalin in 1939 would have been fighting Poland, Hitler and the entire British Empire plus the French Empire. The frogs also had guaranteed Poland. I mean if Stalin had attacked Poland without Hitler doing so.
Stalin was not so stupid as to take on so many enemies at the same time.
Hitler OTOH could never get enough enemies and he loved war on two fronts. He had the British Empire and the Soviet Union against him.
That was not enough enemies for Germany to be sure to lose, so he declared war on the USA.
Just after Congress voted not to attack Germany but to fight only the Japanese. Great move by Hitler, a real war winning idea – for the Allies.

The killing field of young Laith Abu Naim is an empty lot in the remote village of Al-Mughayyir, north of Ramallah. Someone once planned to build a house here, but got no further than iron rods and a retaining wall.
The boy ran for his life between the rods, pursued by two armored Israel Defense Forces jeeps. The chase ended when the door of one of the vehicles opened and a soldier aimed his rifle straight at Laith’s forehead from a range of 20 meters. He fired one bullet, killing the teen – the same way an animal is hunted down and bagged on a safari.

A 16-year-old boy who dreamed of becoming a soccer goalie threw stones at a jeep and suffered the punishment of execution at the hands of a soldier, perhaps to teach him a lesson, perhaps as revenge.
The rubber-coated steel bullet struck the exact spot it was aimed at – the boy’s forehead, above his left eye – and had the anticipated result: Laith fell to the ground and died shortly afterward.
The outstanding IDF sniper could have aimed at his legs, used tear gas, or tried to stop him in other ways. But he chose, in what seems to be an almost standard pattern in recent weeks in this area, to fire a round directly at the head.
That’s how soldiers shot two young men named Mohammed Tamimi, one from Nabi Saleh, the other from Aboud, wounding both youngsters seriously. The latter is still hospitalized in grave condition in a Ramallah hospital; the former, part of his skull missing, is recovering at home.
Laith Abu Naim now lies in the ground in his village’s cemetery.
The killing field is located in Al-Mughayyir’s main square, which is empty of almost anything, other than a grocery store.
The proprietor, 70-year-old Abdel Qader Hajj Mohammed, was an eyewitness to the teen’s killing. Two of Abu Naim’s friends were with him, but they didn’t see the moment of the shooting – they had scrambled onto the dirt path that descends from the square toward the homes of the village.
The two, classmates Majid Nasan and Osama Nasan, lean youths of 16, are now giving testimony to a researcher from the International Red Cross, Ashraf Idebis, who has come with a European colleague to investigate the circumstances of the January 30 killing.
The two youths are both wearing blue shirts on which a photograph of their dead friend has been printed, and have keffiyehs draped across their shoulders.
The signs of the trauma are still etched on their faces, along with nascent stubble. The desk Laith sat at in the classroom is empty, and his friends have placed his photograph on it, as though he is still with them.
On Sunday this week a memorial ceremony was held for him in the schoolyard.
This is a poor village of 4,000, with residents living mostly on what’s left of their farming, surrounded by settlements and settler outposts whose expansion in this region – the Shiloh Valley – has been particularly wild.
The neighboring Palestinian locale, Turmus Ayya, is affluent; some of its homes are luxury villas, which are locked up while their owners live in exile in the United States.
Abu Naim’s two friends and the grocery store owner tell a mostly identical story about what happened here on Tuesday of last week.
In the afternoon, a few dozen children and teenagers from Al-Mughayyir walked in the direction of the Allon Road, about a kilometer from the village center, where they threw stones and burned tires.
Since U.S. President Donald Trump recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital in December, confrontations have erupted almost daily, even in this beleaguered village.
On the day in question, Israeli forces pushed the youngsters back using tear gas, and two jeeps hurtled after them as they retreated back into town.
Most of the youths scattered in all directions. Laith remained almost alone in the field facing the jeeps. He had decided to throw one more stone at the vehicles before making his escape.
He advanced across the expanse of iron rods toward the jeep that had stopped on the other side, threw his stone and started to run. Hajj Mohammed, from the grocery store, which looks out into the square, relates that one of the soldiers, apparently the one next to the driver, opened the door, aimed his rifle and fired a solitary round.
The hulk of a commercial vehicle that used to belong to Leiman Schlussel, a distributor of sweets in Israel, now painted brown and serving as a falafel stand, is perched in the square. When we visited the site on Monday, the auto’s doors were sealed with locks. Laith apparently tried to take shelter behind the old wreck but didn’t make it.
We go up to the roof of the building where the grocery store is located, some of whose apartments remain unfinished, and observe the arena: the Allon Road, the surrounding settlements and outposts, including Adei Ad and Shvut Rachel, and the vacant construction site with the sprouting iron rods.
The earth is still bloodstained where Abu Naim fell, and littered with shreds of a memorial poster with his picture on it. According to the grocer, the soldier who fired the shot walked over to the dying teen and turned over his body with his foot, apparently to check his condition.
The soldiers ordered the grocer to get back into his store and close it.
They left without offering the victim any medical assistance. A taxi rushed the youth to the clinic in Turmus Ayya, from where he was taken in a Palestinian ambulance to the Government Hospital in Ramallah.
A large poster bearing Laith’s photo, along with banners of Palestinian organizations now hang on the front wall of the unfinished building, next to the spot where he fell.
On the day he was killed, his two friends relate, he left school at about 10 o’clock, as he wasn’t feeling well. They met up with him again around 4 P.M., in the village square.
He did not take part in the stone throwing next to the Allon Road, joining the protesters only when they reached the square. Abu Naim’s grandfather later told us that Laith was on his way to soccer practice in Turmus Ayya.
When he left the house that afternoon, he took his training bag with him. The bag hasn’t been found, and at home they think that possibly someone took it as a “souvenir.”
The family’s home is at the edge of the village. Laith’s mother, Nora, died of cancer when she was 26 and Laith was 2. His father, Haitham Abu Naim, remarried and moved to Beit Sira, a village west of Ramallah.
Laith was raised by his paternal grandparents Fat’hi and Naama, in the house we are now visiting together with Iyad Hadad, a field researcher from the Israeli human rights organization B’Tselem.
Until he was 10, Laith wasn’t told that his mother was dead; he thought his grandparents were his parents. Even afterward he continued to call both his grandfather and his father “dad,” using different terms: “Yaba” for his grandfather, “Baba” for his father.
Haitham works for an infrastructure company in Modi’in. He would see Laith every weekend, when the boy would go to Beit Sira. He saw his father for the last time four days before he was killed. On that fateful day last week, Laith’s aunt telephoned his father to say that the boy had been wounded. Haitham rushed to the hospital in Ramallah, where he witnessed the physicians striving in vain to save his son’s life.
“We gave him everything,” says Fat’hi, Laith’s grandfather.
Fat’hi studied cooking at Tadmor, the veteran school for hotel management, in Herzliya; the signature of Rehavam Ze’evi, the former IDF general, who was then the minister of tourism (and was assassinated in 2001), is on his graduation certificate. Until recently, Fat’hi, who is 65, worked as a cook in Jerusalem’s Metropole Hotel.
Someone brings Laith’s goalkeeper’s gloves – green and white and much worn from use. He liked to have his picture taken; his father shows us photos.
He was a beautiful boy with black hair that spilled onto his forehead. Here he is at the water slide in Al-Ouja. He was the goalkeeper of the school team, a fan of the Barcelona club, and he also liked to swim. Like all the children in this area, the only beach he ever saw was at the Dead Sea.
His grandfather says that whenever clashes broke out in Al-Mughayyir, he would go out to summon the boy home. He didn’t do that last Tuesday, because he thought Laith was at soccer practice.
The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit stated this week, in response to a query from Haaretz: “On January 30, a violent disturbance developed in which about 30 Palestinians took part, burning tires and throwing stones at IDF forces adjacent to the village of Al-Mughayyir.
“The forces responded with means to disperse demonstrations. The claim that a Palestinian was killed is known. The Military Police have launched an investigation, at the conclusion of which the findings will be conveyed to the military advocate general’s unit.”
Fat’hi, his face a study in dejection, asks: “Is there an army in the world that, after shooting someone, puts a foot on his body? They shot him in cold blood in order to kill him. It was a liquidation, an assassination. They could have arrested him, wounded him – but not killed him. To kill a Palestinian is nothing for them. They have no human feelings.
“Doesn’t the officer who fired have children? Did he see Laith as a boy like his children? The Israeli soldiers have lost all restraint. Every soldier can kill anyone according to his mood.”
Then they show us more photographs on the father’s cellphone. Here’s Laith smoking a narghile with friends; here’s his funeral.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas called and thousands attended, and this has been a source of solace for the family.

RT: IDF says it hit 12 targets in Syria after jet crashed in cross-border raid
IDF said it struck 12 Iranian and Syrian targets in Syria, including air defense batteries. Hours earlier, an Israeli F-16 jet was downed as it was taking part in an operation targeting Iranian facilities in Syria.
“Twelve targets, including three aerial defense batteries and four Iranian targets that are part of Iran’s military establishment in Syria were attacked,” the Israeli military said in a statement.
The military added that during the attack, “anti-aircraft missiles were fired towards Israel, triggering alarms that were heard in Northern Israel.”

Syrian officials confirmed to SANA news agency that the country’s air defenses were responding to the “new Israeli act of aggression” which took place near the capital, Damascus.
Sounds of explosions presumed to be from Israeli attacks were heard in the Damascus countryside, Syrian state TV reports.
“The Israeli enemy has resumed aggression on some military positions in the southern region and our air defences have responded to them and thwarted the aggression,” a Syrian military source said in a statement.
Earlier in the morning, according to Israeli reports, an Iranian drone was intercepted by the IDF after crossing into Israeli airspace.
The Israeli military responded by targeting a Syrian military base, where they believed the operator of the drone to be located.
One Israeli F-16 jet was hit by Syrian anti-aircraft fire during the raid and crashed later in Israeli territory. The pilots survived the incident [one with serious injuries-Kj].
Following the incidents, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held security consultations, approving the necessary actions in real time following the incidents, official Israeli sources told Haaretz.
This is one of the most serious confrontations, involving three states – Syria, Iran and Israel – since the start of the Syrian Civil War in 2011.
The IDF said that Syria and Iran are “playing with fire” by infiltrating Israeli airspace and will pay a heavy price. However, Israel does not seek escalation with the two states, an IDF spokesman said.
Over the years of the Syrian armed conflict, Israel has reportedly launched over 100 attacks into Syrian territory, using fighter jets and missiles to destroy various targets.
Israel says it is legitimately defending itself by preventing Hezbollah, a Lebanese paramilitary movement and ally of Damascus, from obtaining advanced weapons from the Syrian government.

While according to initial reports both crew members ejected – the weapons operator with light injuries and the pilot with ‘severe’ injuries, according to subsequent, still unconfirmed, reports, the Israeli pilot with serious injuries has died in hospital. No further details were given according to Al Masdar.
This report however is being denied by the Times of Israel which reported that the pilot suffered wounds to chest, abdomen while ejecting from jet; co-pilot set to be released home Sunday…

Moon of Alabama: Syria – U.S. May Have Arranged “Self Defense” Attack On Syrian Government Forces (2/8)
[Re-edited]: Last night the illegal U.S. occupation force in north-east Syria attacked a group of Syrian government aligned troops and their Russian support.
The incident happened north-east of Deir Ezzor city on the east side of the Euphrates. The U.S. claims that it killed some 100 Syrian soldiers that were allegedly attacking its proxy forces in an attempt to recover oil fields.
There is a factual separation of areas south-west of the Euphrates under Syrian government control and north-east of the Euphrates under U.S. occupation.
But several locations around Manbij, Raqqa and Deir Ezzor contradict that and are under control of the respective other side. The U.S. claims that a “de-confliction line” along the Euphrates is agreed upon. The Syrian government says that no such agreement exists.
[In other words, there are pockets of SAA and SDF that interpenetrate each other’s zones.- Kj]
A small area across the Euphrates north-east of Deir Ezzor had been taken by Syrian government forces months ago. It is near some oilfields which the U.S. wants to keep away from the Syrian government.

The valuable oil and gas fields are currently in the hands of local Arab tribes who earlier worked with the Islamic State and are now, the U.S. claims, allied with the YPG/PKK Kurds under the name Syrian Democratic Forces.
The SDF is the U.S. local proxy force for its occupation.
On the Syrian government side [west bank side] in Deir Ezzor are a few Syrian troops, local militia from the area, as well as members of Russian private military contractor named Wagner Group.
[Not mentioned are the several Arab tribes in Deir Ezzor who swore loyalty to Assad and also fought with the SAA to liberate Deir Ezzor, and which clans span the Euphrates River.
Some Arab tribesmen on the left bank of the Euphrates may have fought with the SDF, which is just an umbrella term, as allies of convenience for the same goal — against ISIL. – Kj]
Wagner allegedly has a contract with the Syrian government that will give it some 25% of all revenues from oil-fields it recovers and protects.

Other sources say that there have been talks between Wagner and locals Arabs guarding the currently unproductive “Conoco” oil and gas field operation near the town of Khisham.

A translation of an earlier report from the opposition Al-Etihad media seems to confirm that some deal had been made:
“Activists said Assad forces and Shiite militias have gathered near the villages of Bakkara Akidat, Dahla and Sabah in the eastern suburbs of Deir-ez-Zor (east of the Euphrates) near the Conoco gas field, which is controlled by Kurdish forces.”
The sources added that the Kurdish-dominated Syrian Democratic Forces informed the U.S.-led coalition forces of these developments. The coalition urged SDF fighters not to resist the regime forces and surrender the area.
The activists added that the SDF has already withdrawn heavy weapons from their areas held by Arab and Turkmen factions.
Might this whole operation have been a trap? The U.S. military clearly knew that something was going to happen in the area. Local deals were made between the Syrian government side and locals Arabs holding the oil fields. The U.S. told the SDF to move out of the way. When the government aligned groups started to take over the field, as presumably agreed upon, the U.S. bombed them.
The “attack on coalition forces” the U.S. claimed as justification for its bombing seems not to have taken place at all. How else does one explain that sole casualty of the claimed battalion size attack with strong artillery support is “one wounded SDF” fighter? A later U.S. military statement to a journalist seems to be vague about the reality of an attack:
After 20 to 30 artillery and tank rounds landed within 500 meters of the SDF headquarters location, Syrian Democratic Forces supported by the Coalition targeted the aggressors with a combination of air and artillery strikes.

These wells are in Arab tribesmen hands. Russia has the technology to revive old oil wells.

Very shadowy and secretive armed private Russian paramilitary and security group under contract to Damascus for 25% of the profits from these same fields tell me that perhaps Russian oil companies are the big partners in Wagner, they think something is there, and that they see great recovery potential for these wells using Russian technology.
Risky business venture, but they wouldn’t be doing it at all if they thought there was a very small chance of bringing these wells back into production for the Syrian state.
25% of profits is a reasonable concession price, about like usual consignment sales rates, with 75% going back to the state to benefit the Syrian people.

The port of Murmansk remains ice-free year round due to the warm North Atlantic Current, which means it keeps that part of the Arctic Ocean above the freezing temperature of seawater. The sad, awful fact is that in those near freezing Arctic seas in that horrible and brutal war, once a person’s in the water, hyperthermia sets in and they’re gone in about 10 or 20 minutes.
Once the winter clothing got wet, it was useless.
Even getting onto a life raft couldn’t save anyone for much longer because he’d have to get to it while submerged in water.

The humanitarian situation in Syria remains difficult. Given these circumstances, Russia continues to deploy multidimensional efforts to provide aid to the civilian population, both by directly bringing in humanitarian supplies, and facilitating the work of international humanitarian bodies.
In this context, we paid attention to a statement issued by the UN agencies in Syria released on February 6 regarding the humanitarian situation in a number of areas, including Afrin, Hasakah, Raqqa, Idlib, Rukban camp, and Eastern Ghouta, with a call for a month-long break in hostilities in order to deliver humanitarian aid and evacuate wounded and sick people.
We share this concern. We have repeatedly called on all parties to stop the hostilities.
This is the goal of the agreements by guarantor countries under the Astana process – Russia, Turkey and Iran. Efforts are underway to implement these agreements.
However, such work is not going smoothly because of active resistance by terrorists and extremists who are trying as best they can to disrupt the processes of establishing peaceful life and who do not want to see Syria a united, sovereign and independent state.
We hope this statement by the humanitarian agencies will not be used to stage more politically motivated attacks against the legitimate Syrian government or to foment hysteria in order to please those who have long called for a regime change in Damascus.
Clearly, the situation in each of the above problem areas has its own specifics. The attempts to put the entire burden of responsibility solely on the official Syrian authorities are groundless.
We know from past experience that many of our Western colleagues tend to avoid thoughtful analysis of developments in Syria. They already know in advance who is to blame for everything.
As you may be aware, Raqqa has turned into a ghost city in the wake of massive bombardment by the US-led “anti-ISIS” coalition in the autumn of 2017.
More than 80 per cent of the buildings in this city have been destroyed.
The mine clearance effort is moving very slowly. In fact, no one is doing it.
Dead bodies remain under the debris. Up to 50 injuries caused by explosive devices left behind by ISIS are put on record every week.
Rukban camp located next to the border with Jordan cannot be accessed, because it is located inside a “security area” which was illegally and without prior arrangement created by the United States.
In fact, the US troops have this area under their control.
The escalation of tension outside Afrin, where no Syrian government troops are present at the moment, was caused by the United States supporting its “clients” despite Washington’s assurances of supporting Syria’s territorial integrity.
Expanded air strikes on the province of Idlib is a response to the terrorists’ desperate attempts to regain lost ground. On February 6 alone, government forces fought off five massive attacks on Abu al-Duhur.
The prospects for actual de-escalation there largely depend on how quickly the Turkish observation posts will be put in place along the internal perimeter off the contact line.
This work is currently underway. In addition, as far as we know, the entry of humanitarian supplies into this province is fairly unfettered.
Fighting in Eastern Ghouta was provoked by militants attacking the Syrian Armoured Vehicle Department in a Damascus suburb of Harasta in November 2017.
The militant attempts to cut off and seize this site continue until now. On February 6 alone, several massive attacks were disrupted.
Damascus has been under mortar fire from this area to this day. It intensified in the past few days, and the number of dead and wounded among civilians has increased dramatically.

Sputnik: What IOC ban? American unfurls Russian flag at Olympic Games
American sports fan Filip Vahuda bravely waved around the Russian flag at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in South Korea.
He explained that he had heard about the unfair doping scandal and that Russian athletes were ordered to compete under a neutral flag. Vahuda thought that it would be good to support them.
“They trained for four years, they were preparing to represent their country at the Games, but they were deprived of such an opportunity/ I wanted them to feel at home, to show that they are equal to others, because the Olympics are for everyone, ” the American explained.
Vahuda added that he would like to “set politics aside” and simply express solidarity with Russian athletes.
“There is no doubt that they are clean [because they’re allowed to attend], but they are punished for possible misdemeanors of other people, I am against collective responsibility. Given these Olympians are clean, they should have the opportunity to represent their country, ” he said.
The opening ceremony of the Games-2018 was held on Friday 9th February. The decision of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) stated that Russian athletes who are clean must compete under a neutral flag. All Russian insignia and flags are not allowed on any of the premises.

RT: ‘Would I be brave enough?’ US veteran hails courage of fallen Russian pilot, offers to help family
The death of Russian Air Force pilot Major Roman Filipov has touched the heart of one US military veteran, who contacted RT in a bid to help the family of the fallen serviceman.
Major Filipov died after his plane was shot down by militants in Syria’s Idlib province on February 3. After ejecting from the aircraft, he engaged the enemy before detonating a grenade as terrorists closed in on his position.
“I read Major Filipov’s story with great interest and sorrow,” former US Enlisted Air Crew member Steve Sola wrote in an email to RT. “I’m sure the Russian Air Force will take care of his widow and child, but can a little more be done?”
Sola offered to contribute to any fund set up to support the bereaved family and, in an interview with RT, was keen to express his admiration for the pilot’s bravery.
“It just broke my heart that he had to die like this,” said Sola. “I wonder if I would be brave enough to do what he did.
“He knew what his chances were and he knew what he had to do. And he knew that he was never going to be captured.
“It’s very hard decision to make but I salute him,” Sola said, his voice shaking as he held back tears. “He did what he had to do. He knows what can happen to other troops and what has happened to his comrades.”
RT has contacted the Russian armed forces to inquire whether a special fund for Major Filipov’s family has been set up and is awaiting a response.
Russia’s defense minister Sergei Shoigu, alongside other high-ranking military commanders, paid their last respects to the pilot at the Chkalovsky airfield outside Moscow. The body of Major Filipov was then transported to his hometown of Voronezh, where some 30,000 people attended his requiem ceremony.
He was buried with military honors on Thursday. Almost 2,000 people came to the cemetery to pay tribute to the hero pilot, queuing to lay flowers at his grave. Three volleys were fired to bid final farewell to Filipov, who was posthumously awarded Russia’s highest honor, the Hero of Russia medal.

A source on the ground told SANA’s reporter in Hama that the army units seized large amounts of weapons and munitions left behind by Daesh and al-Nusra terrorists, during the army’s combing operations in the villages near Ibn Wardan castle in Hama countryside and the villages in Idleb and Aleppo countryside.
The source added that the seized weapons included scores of munitions boxes, dozens of mortar shells, a rocket launcher, and US-made TOW launchers.

Monastery of St. James the Mutilated provides two mobile clinics for Deir Ezzor citizens
Deir Ezzor, SANA –Two mobile clinics arrived in Deir Ezzor city, donated by the Monastery of Saint James the Mutilated,to help provide health services for the citizens of the province.
Member of Deir Ezzor Executive office Fawzi al-Muhammad told SANA that the two clinics will work in collaboration with the Health Directorate to provide medical services to the citizens of Deir Ezzor.
The province’s Health Director Abd Najem al-Obeid underlined the need for such clinics to support the heath sector, as these clinics are important due to their ease of movement and their ability to reach the patients in their areas of residence.
The administrative supervisor of the Monastery of Saint James the Mutilated project Abdullatif Yacoub said that the two mobile clinics will provide medical services and medicine for free to the people of Deir Ezzor, and they are equipped with an automated external defibrillator (AED), digital blood pressure monitors, oxygen respirators and tanks, and Diabetes and blood testing devices, in addition to medicine.
He also confirmed that contracts were signed with doctors, nurses, and technicians in coordination with the Directorate of Health to staff the clinic, which will target the most needy and remote areas.

Backstory: The Monastery of Saint James the Mutilated is a 6th-century, now Melkite Greek Catholic monastery in Qara, in Syria’s diocese of Homs. It is located 97 km north of Damascus and 15 km east of Nebek. The monastery is dedicated to Saint James the Mutilated.
Mother Superior Agnes Mariam de la Croix (born 1952), also known as Mother Agnes, very outspoken on behalf of Syria is the abbess of the monastery. She is not Syrian. Born Marie Fadia Laham in Beirut, Lebanon, her Palestinian father had fled Nazareth at the time Israel was created in 1948 while her mother was Lebanese.
After her education by French nuns, she became a hippie for 2 1/2 years and, by her own admission, smoked marijuana while travelling in Europe, India and Nepal. While in Nepal she was overcome by God’s unconditional love, and a revelation in which “God gave me a glimpse of the glory he has reserved for those who are saved.”
She then became a nun in the Carmelite order in 1971, and worked to help displaced families from Lebanon’s civil war.
Mother Agnes gained the consent of the religious authorities to work with the Melkite Greek Catholic Church in 1992, and moved to Syria about two years later with the objective of restoring the monastery.
Mother Agnes said at an event in San Francisco during her American tour in 2013:
“I used to hate Syrians who came to Lebanon to bomb us every day” during the country’s civil war, but “then the Lord called me to Syria to a blessed adventure to restore an ancient monastery that was in ruins” and underwent a “conversion” after which she “learned never to hate anyone”.

Ok. The last blurp would have been perhaps ok by itself in the context of of peaceful political opposition rhetoric, except for what Dall’Oglio had already fomented time and again — not reform but the overthrow of President Assad and the Syrian government back in 2012.
Being an Italian citizen, Damascus’ hands were tied when it came to arrests and such. Only citizens can be accused and convicted of treason and rebellion. The only action that Damascus could take against this so-called “priest for all Syrians” Dall’Oglio was an expulsion order.
Dall’Oglio ignored the order for a couple of months and continued living in Syria. However, following the publication of an open letter to UN special envoy Kofi Annan in May 2012, he obeyed his bishop who urged him to leave the country.
He left Syria on 12 June 2012 and joined in exile the newly established Deir Maryam al-Adhra of his community in Sulaymaniyah, Iraqi Kurdistan.In 2013, he urged Pope Francis to support the Syrian rebels’ cause, accusing the Syrian government of using the church as a propaganda tool against the rebellion.
Back in Syria, he was then kidnapped by Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant on 29 July 2013.
In late July 2013 Paolo Dall’Oglio entered rebel held territory in eastern Syria but was soon kidnapped by the militants of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. In 2013, Orthodox bishops were kidnapped in Syria on April 22 and Armenian Catholic and Greek Orthodox priests were kidnapped in February.
Dall’Oglio disappeared in Raqqa after he reportedly walked into Daesh headquarters in the city to negotiate the release of some opposition “FSA” moderate headchopper hostages and broker a truce with Kurdish militias.

His family launched a desperate appeal to free him in a video in July 2014.
Opposition sources from Raqqa said that Paolo Dall’Oglio was executed by the extremist group and his body thrown into a ground hole in the city of Raqqa, called “Al-Houta”.
Dead Assad loyalist soldiers would have often been thrown into the same hole.
A “ground hole”. That’s minimizing things. Al-Houta means The Abyss – it is a huge, naturally carved out canyon-pit — closer to one of Dante’s circles of hell hundreds of feet deep than just a mere hole in the ground.
If somebody fell into the pit, they were lost without trace. Hundreds of of Syrians alive or dead were tossed into Al-Houta by the FSA and Nusra when they controlled Raqqa province.

In 2015 The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), a UK-based opposition group with a network on the ground in the country, quoted a former leading figure in Daesh as saying that he spotted Dall’Oglio in a prison supervised by the so-called ‘Uzbek battalion’ west of IS’s de facto capital of Raqqa.
As of this late 2017 documentary trailer, Dall’Oglio’s official fate remains unknown.

Ask anyone who watches the news what they remember from the night before, never mind any previous night and unless it was something that seriously disrupted their life, like a hurricane bearing down on top of them or Donald Trump winning the election, nine times out of ten they would not recall a single news item.

In the same way two separate videos one of a building and another of a plane in full flight can be photoshopped in a way that fails to allow for the plane to meet resistance from the building thus slowing down, or be damaged by collision with it, and the supposed entry hole is not even blown till a fraction of a second after the plane is supposed to have completely disappeared inside the building, and everyone buys this basic fraud, or says they do because they are subliminally controlled, illegally naturally, without their permission.
It doesn’t take a space scientist to see that by the simplest laws of physics and the most basic experience of observation that if the above was able to fully enter the building without slowing down and without the slightest damage, not even to the wingtips, then there is nothing to stop it from exiting the building in the same way, within the time it takes to traverse its space – in fact the laws of physics and the experience of observation demands it, and flying out the same way it flew in.
Similarly, and if you stop the video immediately after the entry of the plane and before the explosives are able to be detonated, you will see that the wall is still there and the ghost plane obviously, passed straight through it…………..come on.

Facebook personal data use, privacy settings illegal: German court.

A court in Germany has ruled that Facebook is violating the country’s data protection laws with several privacy settings that require users to provide their personal data and real names.
Judges in the Berlin state court on Monday ruled in a suit brought by the Federation of German Consumer Organizations (VZVB) that Facebook’s “real name” clause was in breach of the country’s regulation and “illegal.”
Under German law, providers of online services must allow users to remain anonymous and that personal information can only be recorded or used by a company with explicit agreement from the individual.
“The judges ruled that all five of the default settings on Facebook that VZVB complained about are invalid,” the VZVB said in a statement, adding that some of Facebook’s terms of use were found to be illegal, including sharing location data with chat partners or making profiles available to external search engines.
The lawsuit also accused the US online social media and networking service of leaving many settings switched on by default and failing to offer users a meaningful choice about how their data was used.
“Facebook hides default settings that are not privacy-friendly in its privacy center and does not provide sufficient information about it when users register,” said Heiko Duenkel, litigation policy officer at the VZVB. “This does not meet the requirement for informed consent.”
Facebook, which counts more than 2 billion users worldwide, already faces scrutiny from Germany’s competition authorities over handling of its users’ personal data.
Facebook said it would appeal the Monday court ruling, adding that many of its terms of service had changed since the suit was first brought in 2015.
“We are working hard to ensure that our guidelines are clear and easy to understand, and that the services offered by Facebook are in full accordance with the law,” Facebook said.
“Our products and terms of service have changed a lot since the beginning of the case, and we are making further changes this year to our terms of use and data protection guidelines, with a view to upcoming legal changes,” it added.
Germany is a major market for Facebook in Europe, with around 30 million of the country’s 80-million strong population signed up and almost 23 million using the network every day.

Jerusalem Post: NETANYAHU: I’VE BEEN TALKING TO AMERICANS ABOUT ANNEXING SETTLEMENTS
Israel is coordinating with the US on the topic of sovereignty over settlements in the West Bank, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at a Likud faction meeting Monday.
Netanyahu’s comments came the day after the coalition took a bill off the ministers’ agenda that would apply Israeli law to West Bank settlements, a move akin to annexing them.
“On the subject of applying sovereignty, I can say that I have been talking to the Americans about it for some time,” Netanyahu stated.
The prime minister said that he follows to principles on the matter:
“One, coordinating with the Americans, because the connection with them is a strategic asset for the State of Israel and settlements. Two, it must be a government initiative and not a private one, because it is a historic move.”
On Sunday, Netanyahu asked coalition party leaders to push off the vote on the “sovereignty bill” in light of the developing security situation, and they unanimously agreed.
The proposal by the chairmen of the influential, right-wing Knesset Land of Israel Caucus, Yoav Kisch (Likud) and Bezalel Smotrich (Bayit Yehudi) was based on a Likud central committee decision calling to apply Israeli law to settlements, and both groups have been calling for the policy to be enacted.
A spokesman for Kulanu said the party supports the move, and that Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon has said so in the past.
Bayit Yehudi said they are “happy that, for the first time, Prime Minister Netanyahu is talking about enacting our sovereignty plan for Area C in Judea and Samaria. The test will be in actions.”
Smotrich called Netanyahu’s bluff, tweeting:
“Excellent. I suggest we pass [the ‘sovereignty bill’] in a preliminary reading next week, and then wait to coordinate with the government proposal. That will be a great catalyst for both coordination with the Americans and the government bill.”
Jerusalem Affairs Minister Ze’ev Elkin said that when former prime minister Menachem Begin annexed the Golan Heights, “President Reagan, who was considered pro-Israel, didn’t like it, but we got past it, and no one remembers today what punitive steps the Americans took towards Israel.”
Zionist Union leader Avi Gabbay said “it’s a sad day for Israel when the White House puts out an official statement that our prime minister isn’t telling the truth. It’s not just corruption; Netanyahu is wearing down our relationship with our greatest ally,” he stated.
Zionist Union MK Tzipi Livni said “Netanyahu is letting the Bayit Yehudi lead to annexation, and the meaning is a country without a Jewish majority, without democracy and the continuing, bloody conflict.”
Joint List chairman Ayman Odeh said “the Israeli government opposes peace and supports apartheid.
“This is a wake-up call for the international community and the citizens of the state who strive for peace. We are in the last moments in which the vision of two states is still possible. We must stop Netanyahu’s settler government,” Odeh stated.
Meretz MK Tamar Zandberg said that Netanyahu was trying to distract from corruption investigations against him.
“In order to clear the smoke of the cigars in his indictment, Netanyahu is trying to light the whole region on fire.
“His declaration is the extreme right-wing government declaring a binational state under an apartheid regime, without any chance of separation or negotiations, and against the will of the Israeli and Palestinian public,” she stated.
MK Hilik Bar (Zionist Union) said that annexation is “not a political solution, and is probably the most destructive idea” that has been raised in the Knesset. Annexing the West Bank would “threaten the State of Israel as a Jewish and democratic state,” he added.
A spokesman for the White House peace team clarified that the US has not discussed with Israel any plans to annex the territory.
“Reports that the United States discussed with Israel an annexation plan for the West Bank are false,” said Josh Raffel. “The United States and Israel have never discussed such a proposal, and the President’s focus remains squarely on his Israeli-Palestinian peace initiative.”

There is a ‘conspiracy theory’ (hate that overused cliche’ term but dont have a better one to describe this) that Hitler and Eva Braun retired to rural Argentina after the War and had two daughters there (several YouTube videos exist discussing this issue in more depth).
I know from my own family from Brazil as ethnic Brazilians of stories that former higher ranking Nazis lived under the radar in rural village areas of Northern Brazil after the war.

We are connoisseurs of some sorts looking for some exact truths which most here have found is really very different from the reality presented to us in this present world.
People attracted to this site are really of a special kind of breed of finer sensibilities. There is never always a very clear roadmap but the destination to truth is the same one.
Most grateful for wonderful fun people like Bro N for sticking around all this time for the rest of us while still on the path and for really opening our eyes to the real truth. It’s really hard. When in my younger days I always found it strange why the Germans who are the most educated and best educated people in the world set out to destroy themselves in the worst manner possible and engaged in the worst attrocity in history of humankind.

Solzhenitsyn penned this essay in 1974 and it circulated among Moscow’s intellectuals at the time.
It is dated Feb. 12, the same day that secret police broke into his apartment and arrested him. The next day he was exiled to West Germany. The essay is a call to moral courage and serves as light to all who value truth.
At one time we dared not even to whisper. Now we write and read samizdat, and sometimes when we gather in the smoking room at the Science Institute we complain frankly to one another:
What kind of tricks are they playing on us, and where are they dragging us? Gratuitous boasting of cosmic achievements while there is poverty and destruction at home.
Propping up remote, uncivilized regimes. Fanning up civil war. And we recklessly fostered Mao Tse-tung at our expense—and it will be we who are sent to war against him, and will have to go.
Is there any way out? And they put on trial anybody they want and they put sane people in asylums—always they, and we are powerless.
Things have almost reached rock bottom. A universal spiritual death has already touched us all, and physical death will soon flare up and consume us both and our children—but as before we still smile in a cowardly way and mumble without tounges tied.
But what can we do to stop it? We haven’t the strength?
We have been so hopelessly dehumanized that for today’s modest ration of food we are willing to abandon all our principles, our souls, and all the efforts of our predecessors and all opportunities for our descendants—but just don’t disturb our fragile existence.
We lack staunchness, pride and enthusiasm.
We don’t even fear universal nuclear death, and we don’t fear a third world war. We have already taken refuge in the crevices.
We just fear acts of civil courage.
We fear only to lag behind the herd and to take a step alone-and suddenly find ourselves without white bread, without heating gas and without a Moscow registration.
We have been indoctrinated in political courses, and in just the same way was fostered the idea to live comfortably, and all will be well for the rest of our lives. You can’t escape your environment and social conditions.
Everyday life defines consciousness. What does it have to do with us? We can’t do anything about it?
But we can—everything. But we lie to ourselves for assurance. And it is not they who are to blame for everything—we ourselves, only we.
One can object: But actually toy can think anything you like. Gags have been stuffed into our mouths.
Nobody wants to listen to us and nobody asks us. How can we force them to listen? It is impossible to change their minds.
It would be natural to vote them out of office—but there are not elections in our country.
In the West people know about strikes and protest demonstrations—but we are too oppressed, and it is a horrible prospect for us: How can one suddenly renounce a job and take to the streets?
Yet the other fatal paths probed during the past century by our bitter Russian history are, nevertheless, not for us, and truly we don’t need them.
Now that the axes have done their work, when everything which was sown has sprouted anew, we can see that the young and presumptuous people who thought they would make our country just and happy through terror, bloody rebellion and civil war were themselves misled.
No thanks, fathers of education! Now we know that infamous methods breed infamous results. Let our hands be clean!
The circle—is it closed? And is there really no way out? And is there only one thing left for us to do, to wait without taking action? Maybe something will happen by itself?
It will never happen as long as we daily acknowledge, extol, and strengthen—and do not sever ourselves from the most perceptible of its aspects: Lies.
When violence intrudes into peaceful life, its face glows with self-confidence, as if it were carrying a banner and shouting: “I am violence. Run away, make way for me—I will crush you.”
But violence quickly grows old. And it has lost confidence in itself, and in order to maintain a respectable face it summons falsehood as its ally—since violence lays its ponderous paw not every day and not on every shoulder.
It demands from us only obedience to lies and daily participation in lies—all loyalty lies in that.
And the simplest and most accessible key to our self-neglected liberation lies right here:
Personal non-participation in lies. Though lies conceal everything, though lies embrace everything, but not with any help from me.
This opens a breach in the imaginary encirclement caused by our inaction. It is the easiest thing to do for us, but the most devastating for the lies.
Because when people renounce lies it simply cuts short their existence. Like an infection, they can exist only in a living organism.
We do not exhort ourselves. We have not sufficiently matured to march into the squares and shout the truth our loud or to express aloud what we think. It’s not necessary.
It’s dangerous. But let us refuse to say that which we do not think.
This is our path, the easiest and most accessible one, which takes into account out inherent cowardice, already well rooted.
And it is much easier—it’s dangerous even to say this—than the sort of civil disobedience which Gandhi advocated.
Our path is to talk away from the gangrenous boundary. If we did not paste together the dead bones and scales of ideology, if we did not sew together the rotting rags, we would be astonished how quickly the lies would be rendered helpless and subside.
That which should be naked would then really appear naked before the whole world.
So in our timidity, let each of us make a choice:
Whether consciously, to remain a servant of falsehood—of course, it is not out of inclination, but to feed one’s family, that one raises his children in the spirit of lies—or to shrug off the lies and become an honest man worthy of respect both by one’s children and contemporaries.
And from that day onward he:
•Will not henceforth write, sign, or print in any way a single phrase which in his opinion distorts the truth.
•Will utter such a phrase neither in private conversation not in the presence of many people, neither on his own behalf not at the prompting of someone else, either in the role of agitator, teacher, educator, not in a theatrical role.
•Will not depict, foster or broadcast a single idea which he can only see is false or a distortion of the truth whether it be in painting, sculpture, photography, technical science, or music.
•Will not cite out of context, either orally or written, a single quotation so as to please someone, to feather his own nest, to achieve success in his work, if he does not share completely the idea which is quoted, or if it does not accurately reflect the matter at issue.
•Will not allow himself to be compelled to attend demonstrations or meetings if they are contrary to his desire or will, will neither take into hand not raise into the air a poster or slogan which he does not completely accept.
•Will not raise his hand to vote for a proposal with which he does not sincerely sympathize, will vote neither openly nor secretly for a person whom he considers unworthy or of doubtful abilities.
•Will not allow himself to be dragged to a meeting where there can be expected a forced or distorted discussion of a question.
Will immediately talk out of a meeting, session, lecture, performance or film showing if he hears a speaker tell lies, or purvey ideological nonsense or shameless propaganda.
•Will not subscribe to or buy a newspaper or magazine in which information is distorted and primary facts are concealed. Of course we have not listed all of the possible and necessary deviations from falsehood.
But a person who purifies himself will easily distinguish other instances with his purified outlook.
No, it will not be the same for everybody at first. Some, at first, will lose their jobs.
For young people who want to live with truth, this will, in the beginning, complicate their young lives very much, because the required recitations are stuffed with lies, and it is necessary to make a choice.
But there are no loopholes for anybody who wants to be honest.
On any given day any one of us will be confronted with at least one of the above-mentioned choices even in the most secure of the technical sciences. Either truth or falsehood: Toward spiritual independence or toward spiritual servitude.
And he who is not sufficiently courageous even to defend his soul—don’t let him be proud of his “progressive” views, don’t let him boast that he is an academician or a people’s artist, a merited figure, or a general—let him say to himself:
I am in the herd, and a coward. It’s all the same to me as long as I’m fed and warm.
Even this path, which is the most modest of all paths of resistance, will not be easy for us.
But it is much easier than self-immolation or a hunger strike: The flames will not envelope your body, your eyeballs, will not burst from the heat, and brown bread and clean water will always be available to your family.
A great people of Europe, the Czechoslovaks, whom we betrayed and deceived: Haven’t they shown us how a vulnerable breast can stand up even against tanks if there is a worthy heart within it?
You say it will not be easy? But it will be easiest of all possible resources. It will not be an easy choice for a body, but it is the only one for a soul.
Not, it is not an easy path. But there are already people, even dozens of them, who over the years have maintained all these points and live by the truth.
So you will not be the first to take this path, but will join those who have already taken it. This path will be easier and shorter for all of us if we take it by mutual efforts and in close rank.
If there are thousands of us, they will not be able to do anything with us. If there are tens of thousands of us, then we would not even recognize our country.
If we are too frightened, then we should stop complaining that someone is suffocating us. We ourselves are doing it.
