It’s not about crappy ‘little Israel’ anymore, it’s about the Three Israels.
It begins with – “Genocidal Israel” – that sits on stolen land, covered with the blood of its centuries-old possessors, the Palestinians, who’ve been slaughtered and dispossessed by the Jews.
Alongside is – “Greater Israel” – that hegemonic mischief-maker that uses America to fight its wars in Syria, Iraq, and before long, Lebanon and Iran.
Moving beyond is – “Gigantic Israel” – entrenched in the political culture of the US and Europe, and embedded in Jewry’s global army, NATO.
Lieberman spilled the beans.

The Third Israel is the U.N. created state that we have today. It is totally illegitimate Scripturally and is akin to the Beast that rises out of the sea in the book of Revelations. It is an extension of the Synagogue of Satan and has tricked people into thinking they are the chosen of Yahwh.
The fourth Israel is Spiritual Israel which is made up of the few in this world who have truly repented and endeavor to keep Yahwh’s Commandments and the testimony of Yahshua Messiah.

I’m not aware of any holy site that has ever been dedicated to commemorating this.
The Jerusalem Patriarchate has been caught up in real estate controversy and turmoil going back decades, between alleged shady lease deals and improper transactions conducted by previous patriarchs, to Israeli claims to Church properties outright and attempts to expropriate them.
Then there are the claims of the Palestinians that the Roman (“Greek”) Orthodox Church properties really belong to the Palestinian Arabs, some in possession of the Jerusalem Church since the 1st century, and certainly the 4th century under Roman Emperor Constantine when he, and his mother Empress Helena, began constructing the churches, monasteries, and other sacred shrines of Jerusalem and elsewhere in the Levant.
Other Church property ownership was registered to the Roman (“Greek”) Orthodox Church over 500-600 years ago by the Ottomans to keep the holy sites from being illegally taken over or transferred to the Papacy and the Latin/Frankish churches.
The Palestinian Arabs claim these properties really belong to them, and that the “Greek Orthodox Church” colonized them during the Ottoman era. In any case, matters are always further complicated in Jerusalem and the Holy Land by adherence The Status Quo of the Holy Land Sites, which is an understanding among religious communities with respect to nine shared religious sites in Jerusalem and Bethlehem.
Other Holy Places in Israel and Palestine were not deemed subject to the Status Quo because the authorities of one religion or of one community within a religion are in recognized or effective possession.
The Status Quo resulted from a firman (decree) of Ottoman Sultan Osman III in the 18th century that preserved the division of ownership and responsibilities of various sites important to Christians, Muslims, and Jews to their then-current holders or owners, and represented agreements among the various religions that nothing could be changed from the way it was without upsetting the balance of order in maintaining the religious sites for visits by pilgrims.
The actual provisions of the status quo were never formally established in a single document, but the 1929 summary prepared by Lionel George Archer Cust, a civil servant of the British Mandate, The Status Quo in the Holy Places, became the standard text on the subject.
Anyway, the most recent Church real estate court case saga controversy which the Jerusalem Patriarchate is fighting is as follows from Middle East Monitor (as of August):
Israel hands settlers ownership of church property in Jerusalem
An Israeli military court ruled that settler groups have the right to seize two hotels and a large building in the Old City of Jerusalem which belongs to the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate.
The Church said the Israeli Central Court yesterday accepted lawsuits filed by settler groups against it regarding the Petra and Imperial hotels and the house of Mu’amadiyah in the Jaffa Gate area of the Old City.
Jaffa Gate is the closest to the Christian Quarter in the Old City of Jerusalem, where the church owns several properties.
In a statement published yesterday, the Patriarchate condemned the court’s decision adding that the court based its decision on “a deal concluded illegally with the person responsible for the church’s financial department during the time of dismissed Patriarch Irenaios in 2004”.
The Orthodox community in Palestine and Jordan had pressed the Palestinian Authority and Jordan to dismiss Patriarch Irenaios after it was revealed that he rented the properties to Jewish groups [in 2004, and reportedly for which he had taken a bribe to rent the properties at below market value – Kj].
The Patriarchate said the court’s decision allows the settler groups to rent the properties for 99 years, adding that since the isolation of Patriarch Irenaios, the church took all measures and exhausted all efforts and judicial and financial resources to cancel the deal, but unfortunately, the court’s decision came as another setback suffered by the Patriarchate and Jerusalem in general.
It added that the new Patriarch, Theophilos III, will provide [Jerusalemite Palestinian] tenants in these properties with “full support to deal with this unjust attack”, adding that Christian properties suffer the same attacks and targeting as Islamic properties in Jerusalem.
It was not clear whether the Orthodox Church will go to the Supreme Court to appeal the decision.

Middle East Monitor: Greek Orthodox Church to challenge settler land sale
The Greek Orthodox Church is the second largest land owner in Israel, even owning the land that the Israeli parliament is built on
A controversial land sale in Jerusalem’s Old City between the Greek Orthodox Church and Israeli settlers, that angered Palestinians but was upheld by an Israeli court recently, will be challenged by the church.
Theophilos III, the Greek Orthodox Patriarch for Jerusalem, Palestine and Jordan, said at a press conference in Amman on Saturday night that they “reject publicly and clearly” the Jerusalem District Court’s decision two weeks ago.
The ruling reignited the anger of Palestinian Christians about the secretive sale of two famous hotels and surrounding buildings near the Old City’s Jaffa Gate, by the former Patriarch Irenios I in 2005, which led him being stripped of his role and demoted to monk.

Theophilos III, announcing that the church will launch an appeal to Israel’s High Court, said:
This decade-long legal battle has resulted in an unjust decision which disregarded all of the Patriarchate’s clear and concrete legal evidence proving bad faith, bribery and conspiracy
“This bias decision, which affects not only the Patriarchate, but also strikes at the very heart of the Christian Quarter of the Old City, comes at an extremely delicate and sensitive time and will certainly have the most negative effect on the Christian presence in the Holy Land.”
The Greek Orthodox Church owns large amounts of land throughout Jerusalem, including the land Israel’s parliament, the Knesset, is built on.
In 2005, the Palestinian-run Petra and Imperial hotels were sold by the church to Ateret Cohanim, a group that works to establish a Jewish majority in the Old City and East Jerusalem.

I also know of this transaction last summer of secular property made by the Church which involves a typical official Israeli real estate legal and government snarl between the Church, the Jewish National Fund, a quasi-government office held by a private Jewish company.
The Jewish National Fund was founded in 1901 to buy and develop land in Ottoman Palestine (later British Mandate for Palestine, and subsequently Israel and the Palestinian territories) for Jewish settlement.
The JNF is a non-profit organization. By 2007, it owned 13% of the total land in Israel. The JNF in turn had arranged the leases to Jews for housing built upon the leased properties.
The Jerusalem Patriarchate probably sold this particular parcel in order to cover legal fees and other of its own expenses involved in keeping itself afloat and pursuing the court cases involved in the decades old scandalous leasing/sale allegedly made by the previous patriarch.
Not only that, the Jerusalem Patriarchate also has to deal with the notoriously corrupt Israeli government and court system itself:
Jerusalem Post: Greek Orthodox Church last week sold 50 hectares of land in central Jerusalem – some 124 acres containing more than 1,000 housing units in numerous buildings – to an anonymous group of investors, spurring fears of a hostile takeover.
For many years, the land was leased to the Jewish National Fund in agreements that are about to expire, leaving the residents’ future rights in limbo.

Towards the end of my most recent book, Being in Time – a Post Political Manifesto, I elaborate on Jewish controlled opposition strategies.
I contend that when Jews detect that that something associated with them has become problematic they quickly form satellite dissent movements: they are first to oppose themselves.
When Capitalism was identified as a Jewish problem, Marx was first to offer a coherent alternative.

The documentary, Independent Jewish Voices: 100 Years After Balfour, is a fascinating window into the world of Jewish controlled opposition.

The documentary provides a retrospective on the Balfour declaration from the Jewish progressive perspective.
It was spectacularly produced by IJV, a “network of Jews in Britain who share a commitment to certain principles, especially with the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in mind: putting human rights first.”
It is shocking that, despite the fact that the Balfour Declaration led to a century of ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, not one Palestinian voice is featured in the Jewish film.
More significant, the scholarship presented was carefully selected to fit within the Jewish ‘progressive’ narrative.
Not once are we reminded of the crucial fact that the Balfour Declaration points at the dominance of the Jewish Lobby in Britain at least as early as 1917.
Nor does it mention that the declaration was made to pull America into the war by appealing to American German-Jewish bankers who were initially pro German and anti British.
This indicates the dominance of Jewish bankers in the USA in the early 20th century. Naturally the ‘independent’ Jewish Voices are committed to the concealment of these facts.
The documentary asks us to accept the Jewish so-called progressive historical narrative, a tale designed to convey an image of profound Jewish ethics, Jewish values and Jewish peacefulness.
I wish I could support any of it.
The attempt is, in itself, duplicitous and reflects badly on the so-called ‘independent Jews’ and their ‘voices’. Most crucially, and it must be stated once again — there is no such a thing as ‘Jewish ethics.’
In Judaism, obedience to Mitzvot (commandments and laws) replaces the ethical.
Adherence to such rules and laws (Talmud) replaces the judgment process inherent in the notion of ethics. It is far from clear what ‘Jewish values’ are and whether they are at all universal.
Bizarrely, early Zionism in its initial promise to ‘civilize the Jews’ by means of ‘homecoming’ vowed to bring out the ethical and the universal in the Jews.
In practice, the project collapsed and, if anything, achieved the opposite as Brian Klug pretty much admits in the documentary. While early Zionism was a secular anti Judaic movement, it was soon hijacked by Judaism (יהדות) and Jewishness (יהודיות).
If early Zionism promised to make Jews ‘people like all other people,’ Judaism and Jewishness ensured that Jews were kept different — clinging to the notions of choseness and tribal exceptionalism.
Once again, I suggest to the Independent Jewish Voices that independence means freedom- the unique act of thinking freely and creatively as opposed to tribally and collectively.
To be independent is to unshackle oneself, to become ethical and universal for real, to stop concealing the truth on behalf of putative tribal interests. To be an independent voice is to stop acting as ‘voices.’
Is it that being independent and being Jewish is a political oxymoron? The Independent Jewish Voices may want to decide whether they prefer to operate politically as Jews or independently as ordinary, ethical human beings.
Until they make a coherent decision, they may want to bear in mind that we have dissected Jewish progressive tactics and we are not entirely impressed with this film despite the stunning production.

“Explosive” Leaked Secret Israeli Cable Confirms Israeli-Saudi Coordination To Provoke War
Early this morning, Israeli Channel 10 news published a leaked diplomatic cable which had been sent to all Israeli ambassadors throughout the world concerning the chaotic events that unfolded over the weekend in Lebanon and Saudi Arabia, which began with Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri’s unexpected resignation after he was summoned to Riyadh by his Saudi-backers, and led to the Saudis announcing that Lebanon had “declared war” against the kingdom.
The classified embassy cable, written in Hebrew, constitutes the first formal evidence proving that the Saudis and Israelis are deliberately coordinating to escalate the situation in the Middle East.
The explosive classified Israeli cable reveals the following:
–On Sunday, just after Lebanese PM Hariri’s shocking resignation, Israel sent a cable to all of its embassies with the request that its diplomats do everything possible to ramp up diplomatic pressure against Hezbollah and Iran.
–The cable urged support for Saudi Arabia’s war against Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen.
–The cable stressed that Iran was engaged in “regional subversion”.
–Israeli diplomats were urged to appeal to the “highest officials” within their host countries to attempt to expel Hezbollah from Lebanese government and politics.
As is already well-known, the Saudi and Israeli common cause against perceived Iranian influence and expansion in places like Syria, Lebanon and Iraq of late has led the historic bitter enemies down a pragmatic path of unspoken cooperation as both seem to have placed the break up of the so-called “Shia crescent” as their primary policy goal in the region.
For Israel, Hezbollah has long been its greatest foe, which Israeli leaders see as an extension of Iran’s territorial presence right up against the Jewish state’s northern border.

The Israeli reporter who obtained the document is Barak Ravid, senior diplomatic correspondent for Channel 10 News. Ravid announced the following through Twitter yesterday:
— I published on channel 10 a cable sent to Israeli diplomats asking to lobby for Saudis/Harir and against Hezbollah. The cable sent from the MFA in Jerusalem [Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs] to all Israeli embassies toes the Saudi line regarding the Hariri resignation.
— The Israeli diplomats were instructed to demarch their host governments over the domestic political situation in Lebanon – a very rare move.
— The cable said: “You need to stress that the Hariri resignation shows how dangerous Iran and Hezbollah are for Lebanon’s security.”
–“Hariri’s resignation proves wrong the argument that Hezbollah participation in the government stabilizes Lebanon,” the cable added.
The cable instructed Israeli diplomats to support Saudi Arabia over its war with the Houthis in Yemen. The cable also stressed: “The missile launch by the Houthis towards Riyadh calls for applying more pressure on Iran & Hezbollah.”

What has both Israel and the Saudis worried is the fact that the Syrian war has strengthened Hezbollah, not weakened it.

Politico: Kushner Took Unannounced Trip to Saudi Arabia
President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner returned home Saturday from an unannounced visit to Saudi Arabia — his third trip to the country this year.
Kushner left Washington, D.C., via commercial airline on Wednesday for the trip, which was not announced to the public, a White House official told POLITICO.
He traveled separately from Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, who led a delegation to Riyadh last week to focus on combating terrorist financing.
Kushner was accompanied in the region by deputy national security adviser Dina Powell and Middle East envoy Jason Greenblatt. Greenblatt continued from Saudi Arabia to Amman, Jordan; Cairo; the West Bank city of Ramallah; and Jerusalem, where he was on Sunday.

In order to operate, the 3 Israel’s have to have a very decadent U.S. full of dumb and irresponsible non Jews.

Certainly a large part of the military, private industry and public service are like this. They feast on the corpse of what was once America swallowing whatever shekels the Jews throw at them.
Let me be specific with an outstanding example.
I mail a lot of packages because I’m in the mail order business. I mail them through the post office. I go to the P.O. several times a week. I’ve been to many post offices in the Cincinnati Ohio area in the past 5 years.
Every post office I go to has at least one female postal clerk that refuses to recite the “HazMat” (hazardous materials) statement to the customers in violation of USPS rules and to ask them to press the yes-no button on the small screen. The male clerks are very diligent and always recite the HazMat statement to me.
It’s supposed to be a deterrent to prevent hazardous packages from getting on passenger planes that might cause a fire or explosion.
These female clerks get very annoyed if I complain about their non-compliance and accuse me of being a trouble maker or tell me it’s none of my business.
They have very nice, well paying jobs as clerks with a lot of fringe benefits such as multiple paid vacations and many days off. They can’t perform this little gesture for the Postmaster General and the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) that takes about 5 seconds to recite. They would rather be very lazy and irresponsible.
I do plan to talk to someone in the FAA about this problem.
Times of Israel: Arriving on donkeys, Syrian war wounded seek Israeli help
A perilous journey in the dead of night, between warring factions, leads to a rendezvous with IDF soldiers on the Golan Heights, and from there to medical treatment inside Israel
MOUNT HERMON (AFP) — The wounded Syrians, carried on donkeys through the pitch-black night, could be seen in the beam of a searchlight held by their unlikely saviors — Israeli soldiers.
They were high in the mountains, nearing the Israeli part of the Golan Heights, where they were to receive medical treatment for their wounds even though Israel and Syria are officially at war.Casualties from Syria’s six-year civil war are taken to hospitals inside Israel several nights each week.
At the same time, Israeli soldiers return Syrians, who have received treatment, to the disengagement line that divides the Syrian-controlled part of the Golan from that held by Israel.
It is another example of the many contradictions in the morass of the six-year Syrian conflict.
Israel does not take in refugees from the war, but its army says that it has facilitated the treatment of more than 3,100 wounded in Israeli hospitals since 2013 [the vast majority of them fighting age males of the “moderate rebel” al Qaeda/Nusra/FSA factions].
The army acknowledges it treats any Syrian who needs it, including civilians or even rebels fighting President Bashar Assad’s regime.
On a recent night, a procession of five patients made its way along Mount Hermon, known as Jabal al-Sheikh in Arabic and the highest point of the Golan Heights, avoiding gunfire between warring groups on the Syrian side.
Donkeys, not ambulances
They arrive with assorted fractures and shrapnel wounds.
“They know that there are specific places which they can reach and where we wait for them,” says Tomer Kolar, the Israeli army’s chief medical officer for the sector.
“There is no ambulance on the other side. Sometimes they arrive in the back of a truck or by car, but on the Hermon they come with donkeys. When they arrive in the middle of winter, in the snow, they are sometimes in an extremely serious condition.”
Nearly two-thirds of wounded Syrians are taken to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya, on Israel’s coast near the border with Lebanon. A hospital wing, located in the basement, has been set aside for the men and is under permanent watch while wounded women and children are placed in other departments.
Inside the men’s unit, patients rest and watch television.
One of them is Hani, 28, who had part of his face shattered by gunfire during an offensive on his village by Assad’s forces. He speaks on condition of anonymity for fear or reprisals when he returns home.Hospitalized in Nahariya for more than a year, Hani lost an eye and underwent multiple operations.
Sameh, 31, who arrived at the hospital three weeks ago, had an arm amputated after being wounded in fighting against Assad’s army.
“When I’m healed, I’ll fight back against Assad,” he said without hesitation through an Arab Israeli nurse who translated for him.
“The Syrian government always told us that Israel is an enemy country and that it is better to be in touch with the devil than with Israelis. But I am grateful to Israel and the Israeli army for what they have done for me.”
Buffer zone
Israel has found itself in a complex position regarding the Syrian war.
It wants to avoid being dragged into the conflict [but it will stick it’s fat nose and prying fingers in where it doesn’t belong time and again], but is alleged to have carried out dozens of airstrikes there to stop what were reportedly advanced arms deliveries to Hezbollah.
The Iran-backed Lebanese Shiite group fighting alongside Syrian regime forces, is Israel’s longstanding foe.
Israel also monitors closely the ebb and flow of forces on the Syrian side of the Golan Heights. The area just to Israel’s northeast is among the last bastions of rebels fighting Assad and his allies. [Israeli-supported-Kj] Sunni jihadist groups are also present there.
Israel says it does not back the rebels, but the treatment of war wounded has led to tensions with its minority Druze population.
Druze located on the Israeli side of the Golan have relatives across the fence allied to Assad’s regime.
On Friday, after jihadists launched an assault on the village of Hader in the Syrian Golan, Druze residents on the Israeli side of the plateau rallied along the buffer zone seeking to cross over and help.
Around 10 of them entered the buffer zone, the Israeli army said, before forces caught them and returned them.
Apparently seeking to reassure the Druze population, Israel’s army issued a rare pledge of protection for the village controlled by Assad’s forces. [And the Druze said, “no thanks,” and rallied to the SAA who came in to defend the town].
In 2015, Druze carried out two attacks on Israeli military vehicles transporting injured Syrians to hospital, killing one of the wounded.
Kolar, the Israeli medical officer, thinks most of the Syrians treated by Israel are civilians wounded by the fighting, but adds that “it is possible there are also rebels” among them.
Counterterrorism specialist Ely Karmon, of the Herzliya Interdisciplinary Centre near Tel Aviv, said, beyond humanitarian concerns, providing such treatment can also serve Israel strategically.
Israel has “tactical interests — ensuring the peace of its border in the Golan by helping civilians and combatants on the Syrian side,” said Karmon.
It also has a strategic goal of not allowing a power vacuum to develop in currently rebel-held areas that serve as a “buffer zone that insulates Israel from Hezbollah and Iranian forces present in southern Syria,” he said.

A spokesperson for UK Prime Minister Theresa May confirmed Tuesday that in those meetings, Patel explored the possibility of financing the IDF’s “Operation Good Neighbor” to treat victims of Syria’s civil war who are surreptitiously brought into Israel across its northern border by the army. Patel then asked officials in her department to look into ways of providing the funding.
“The secretary of state did discuss potential ways to provide medical support for Syrian refugees who are wounded and who cross into the Golan for aid,” the spokesman said. “The Israeli army runs field hospitals there to care for Syrians wounded in the civil war. But there is no change in policy in the area. The UK does not provide any financial support to the Israeli army.”
The revelation will add to the pressure Patel is facing over the meetings, even more so as the UK does not recognize Israel’s annexation of the Golan Heights that it captured from Syria during the 1973 Yom Kippur War.

CFI is an unincorporated association. It also seeks to strengthen ties between the British Conservative Party and the Israeli Likud party.
As a rotten cherry on top of this crap sundae, Patel let lobby group chief Lord Stuart Polak, a civilian Zionist British Jew with no security clearances, sit in on secret Israel talks, which Patel didn’t even bother to inform her own boss, were going on.
There wasn’t just one meeting with the Israelis, or three, but at least a dozen and probably more, while she was on “family vacation” as a freelancing British government official, and towed around by the Lord High Joo Poo-bah himself meeting with his cronies.
Lord Polak joined the Conservative Friends of Israel in 1989. He served as its Director for twenty-six years, until August 2015. He also serves as the Chairman of TWC Associates and as a senior consultant to Jardine Lloyd Thompson.
Polak was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for political service in the 2015 New Year Honours. He was created a life peer taking the title Baron Polak of Hertsmere in the County of Hertfordshire on 2 October 2015.
Hertsmere is a local government district and borough in Hertfordshire, England formed in the 1970s. The name “Hertsmere” was invented for the new district by combining the common abbreviation of “Hertfordshire” (“Herts”) with “mere,” an archaic word for boundary.
Hertsmere is the location of Elstree Studios, which produces such British shows as Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, Dancing on Ice, and is the location for the Big Brother house.

The second step is to resuscitate the Hezbollah “threat” and isolate the organization using legal maneuvers and financial sanctions—what one pro-U.S. Lebanese Central Bank official calls “the new tools of imperialism.”
The U.S. listed Hezbollah as a “terrorist organization” 20 years ago this month. Most other states, as well as the United Nations Security Council, have not.
Two weeks ago, at a State Department briefing on the Hezbollah “threat,” National Counterterrorism Center Director Nicholas J. Rasmussen tried to paint a picture of an organization that was directing “terrorism acts worldwide” and posing a threat “to U.S. interests” including “here in the homeland.”
“Prior to September 11,” Rasmussen claimed, “I think everybody knows Hezbollah was responsible for the terrorism-related deaths of more U.S. citizens than any other foreign terrorist organization.”
This was news indeed.
A check with a State Department spokesperson confirmed that the “deaths of more U.S. citizens than any other foreign terrorist organization” claim was in reference to the following incidents:
“Hezbollah is responsible for multiple large scale terrorist attacks, including the 1983 suicide truck bombings of the U.S. Embassy and U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut; the 1984 attack on the U.S. Embassy annex in Beirut; and the 1985 hijacking of TWA flight 847, during which U.S. Navy diver Robert Stethem was murdered,” explained the spokesperson in an email.
The 1983 attack on the Beirut barracks took the lives of 241 Americans. The 1983 U.S. embassy bombing killed 17 Americans, and the 1984 attack on the relocated embassy facilities killed two Americans.
Hezbollah has officially and consistently denied involvement in these suicide bombings and was not even established as an organization until 1985.
Some write off this important discrepancy by arguing that the bombings would have been conducted by one of Hezbollah’s “precursor organizations,” albeit without providing evidence to prove the point. [In other words, this absurd argument essentially states that “If Hezbollah had been there, they would have done the bombings, so they are guilty anyway.”]
The U.S. secretary of defense at the time of the bombings, Caspar Weinberger, told PBS almost two decades later, in 2001: “We still do not have the actual knowledge of who did the bombing of the Marine barracks at the Beirut Airport… and we certainly didn’t then.”
What was the U.S. reaction to the Beirut bombings in 1982? Did it retaliate against this phantom Hezbollah or its “precursor” organizations?
No. In what was the heaviest shore bombardment by a U.S. naval vessel since the Korean war, the Americans retreating from Lebanon launched 300 missiles inland, killing hundreds of Druze and Shia non-combatants.
In their book Best Laid Plans: The Inside Story of America’s War Against Terrorism, David C. Martin and John Walcott write about the incident:
“In a nine-hour period, the U.S.S. New Jersey fired 288 16-inch rounds, each one weighing as much as a Volkswagen Beetle. In those nine-hours, the ship consumed 40 percent of the 16-inch ammunition available in the entire European theater…in one burst of wretched excess.”
It wasn’t until 2003 [20 years after the bombings-Kj] that Hezbollah was officially fingered in the embassy bombing.
In a 30-page decision that resulted from a lawsuit filed by the victims’ families, U.S. District Judge Royce C. Lamberth said Hezbollah carried out the attack at the behest of Iran and its Ministry of Information and Security.
This was based in part on claims that an alleged Hezbollah bomber who said he was directed “to go forward with attacks” in Lebanon at that time.
Critics have called this a “show trial,” comparing it to the 2016 U.S. trial that blamed Iran for the September 11 terrorist attacks, despite the fact that 15 Saudis (and no Iranians) were among the hijackers and the U.S. intelligence community has identified links between Saudi officials and some of the perpetrators.
Meanwhile, the Beirut barracks bombing targeted servicemen from the U.S. and France. This was in the context of Israel’s invasion and occupation of Lebanon in 1982. The Israeli military at the time had been heavily armed and outfitted by the United States.
The victims were not non-combatants — they were military forces belonging to governments that were perceived by Lebanese as aiding the aggression against sovereign Lebanon.
Whatever the case and whomever the perpetrator, you don’t get to call such an action “terrorism.”
It’s an irrational American narrative that time and time again confounds the Middle East: If the U.S. kills you, you are collateral damage. But if you shoot back, you are a terrorist.

No Threat to Americans
“Hezbollah is not plotting against us,” former U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry told a small group of anti-government Syrians on the sidelines of the UN’s General Assembly plenary session a year ago.
Kerry’s comments were caught on an audio tape acquired by the New York Times. Asked why the U.S. fights extremist Sunni groups and not Shia ones, he replied:
The reason for [airstrikes against the Sunni Extremists] is because they have basically declared war on us, and are plotting against us, and Hezbollah is not plotting against us— Hezbollah is exclusively focused on Israel, who they’re not attacking now, and on Syria, where they are attacking in support of Assad.
Now, a mere year later, Rasmussen wants us to believe: “We in the Intelligence Community do, in fact, see continued activity on behalf of Hezbollah here inside the homeland.”
So which is it? Is Hezbollah targeting Americans or not?
The evidence of this is extremely slim and is peppered with more use of qualifying terms—-“allegedly,” “reportedly,” “assessments,” “linkages” — than any objective journalist can comfortably swallow.
So too are U.S. reports of Hezbollah’s “international terrorist activities.”
If there was compelling evidence of the Lebanese resistance group’s involvement in all these attacks, then why have so few nations clamored onto the Hezbollah-is-a-terrorist-organization bandwagon?
Until the conflict in Syria kicked off, it was restricted to a smattering of western states and Israel. But relentless U.S. pressure, and the seismic battle currently underway in the Middle East between pro-U.S. states and pro-Iran states vying for hegemony, have produced a few recent additions.
In early 2016, the six-member Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) designated Hezbollah a terrorist group, followed a few days later by the 21-member Arab League, with Lebanon and Iraq voting against the measure.
Both organizations are heavily dominated by the immensely wealthy and sectarian (read: anti-Shia) Saudis, financial patrons to many Sunni leaders in the region, and a country entrenched in existential proxy battles in Syria, Yemen, Iraq, and Bahrain (against Hezbollah ally and U.S. foe, Iran).
What stands out, instead, is the European Union’s fuzzy position on Hezbollah.
Despite U.S. insistence that the group in its entirely is a terrorist organization, the EU lists only Hezbollah’s “military wing” as such — and that designation was made only in 2013, when the Syrian conflict exploded and nations started taking hard sides in the Middle East.
The “military wing” caveat is a critical distinction that reveals there are more layers to this onion than we see in State Department sound bites.
For Lebanon, Hezbollah is more than just the first Arab force to militarily expel the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) from its territory permanently [to the Zionist entity’s humiliation — twice — Kj].
In Lebanon, Hezbollah is a political party too, with members of parliament and seats in the cabinet.
The group runs a remarkable array of social services across the country, from subsidized schools, hospitals and clinics, to agricultural centers and environmental programs.
Obama’s Deputy National Security Advisor for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism John Brennan introduced a more nuanced image of the group to a Washington think tank audience in 2009:
“Hezbollah started out as purely a terrorist organization in the early ’80s and has evolved significantly over time. And now it has members of parliament, in the cabinet; there are lawyers, doctors, others who are part of the Hezbollah organization …
“And so, quite frankly, I’m pleased to see that a lot of Hezbollah individuals are in fact renouncing that type of terrorism and violence and are trying to participate in the political process in a very legitimate fashion.”
Furthermore, Hezbollah’s appeal is not limited to Lebanon’s Shia community. Since 2006, Hezbollah has been in a political alliance with the country’s largest Christian-based political party, the Free Patriotic Movement (FPM), whose leader, General Michel Aoun, is currently president of Lebanon.
Aoun’s close association with Hezbollah is an irritant to Washington, and so the Trump administration is pushing to tighten the sanctions noose on Lebanon, too.
In September, the U.S. House of Representatives voted to strengthen the 2015 Hezbollah International Financing Prevention Act.
Congressmen claim the new measures won’t harm regular Lebanese civilians, but there is a dangerous trend underway to punish anyone who supports Hezbollah’s civic, social, and religious initiatives.
This concern by the Lebanese is fully justified if you listen to State Department Coordinator for Counterterrorism Nathan A. Sales, who insists:
Money given to a terrorist organization, even for purportedly non-terroristic purposes, ends up assisting the group’s terroristic activities. If you give money to the so-called peaceful side of an organization, money is fungible.
And so that frees up resources that can then be used for malign activities that have nothing to do with charitable work or other purposes that we might regard as legitimate.
And so it’s important for us to maintain that distinction as false. The distinction between political and terroristic is false.
The Lebanese resistance was formed in reaction to Israel’s illegal invasion and occupation of Lebanon. As Kerry says, that’s where Hezbollah’s real fight is — with Israel.
Washington should leave it to the two to duke it out. This is not America’s fight. Hezbollah has saved Lebanon — and much of the Levant — not once, but twice, from bloody aggression.
In fact, maybe I’ll take them out to lunch in Beirut and pay the bill. I daresay that could be regarded as a financial contribution to Hezbollah, and that would make me a “terrorist,” too.

As for the Priti Patel timeline – we’re told the Foreign Office found out about her Israel holiday while she was still there – on the 24th August, when Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson, Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, also apparently learned of the trip then.
So why did Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Theresa May, only find out last Friday? Why wasn’t the PM told sooner?
Oh, wait. I forgot. Under Ms. May you can be a Cabinet minister who secretly runs your own foreign policy, offer UK aid money to the Israeli Army of Thugs and Settler Bandits, and visit stolen, illegally militarily occupied and owned Palestinian and Syrian territory.
And May will still let you resign rather than sacking you because you got caught and it went public. Or it’s because she is just not in control of 10 Downing Street, the colloquial term for the headquarters office of the Government of the United Kingdom.

There are no guides to crafting government press releases. No Aristotelian unities to obey, no three act structures.
There are, strictly speaking, no rules to break. But even so, it is rare, perhaps indeed unprecedented, to see the head of a foreign government make his first appearance in paragraph 17.
So what? Convention is there to be flouted.
That Benjamin Netanyahu should leave it this late to ride into Priti Patel’s already stunning account of ‘What I Did On Holiday’, like Sean Connery on horseback in the final scene of Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, well it just improves what is already un-improvable.
There was a lot to get through up to this point. Who, you know, knew about the trip (no one), when they were told (after it happened), and some more general stuff about why a member of Her Majesty’s Government is meeting up with world leaders in secret on her family holiday.
Politicians walk a fine semantic line. Say the wrong thing, in 2017, like, for example, making a joke about dead bodies all over Libyan beaches, and you run the very real risk of getting a very stern talking to.
So we should not rush to judge Ms Patel when she seeks to clarify some a quote given to The Guardian.
“Boris knew about the visit. The point is that the Foreign Office did know about this, Boris knew about [the trip].” she told them. She now wishes to clarify.
“This quote may have given the impression that the Secretary of State had informed the Foreign Secretary about the visit in advance,” she explains, not unreasonably. If someone knew about something, you might infer, that they knew about it. Not so.
“The Foreign Secretary did become aware of the visit,” she explains. “But not in advance of it.”
People are ridiculing Patel over this aspect in particular, and that is unfair.
Knew about and knows about are very close semantic cousins. If you ask Sonny Liston, for example, whether he “knows about” a punch he received from Mohammed Ali in 1965, he might very well reply, “Yes. It knocked me out.”
Ask him if he “knew about” it however, and you may get a different answer, by virtue of the video footage showing him making very little effort to get out of its way. But this is not to suggest for a second anything other than Ms Patel has made an entirely innocent mistake.
Mainly, there is sadness here. Boris Johnson and Priti Patel go waaaay back. That giddy summer, driving round on the big red bullshit bus together.
Do they ever stop and have a laugh about only being in the Cabinet because they both trashed the country for their own careers lol? Boris, meanwhile, is clandestinely trying to steal her department.
Where, in all this, was the friendly, “Hi Priti, what you up to on your holidays this summer?”
“Wellll, funny you should ask… we were thinking Center Parcs but actually, I’m going to Israel to see if I can give some taxpayer cash to the Israeli armed forces. What about you? Anywhere nice.”
Still, at least she kept herself busy. A “family holiday paid for by myself” where you fix up a meeting with one of the world’s most controversial political leaders and not tell your own Prime Minister what you’re up to could look, well, misadventurous.
But with half the Israeli government to meet, she’s not left a lot of time for, you know, thinking, walking, clearing the head. Making big decisions, that sort of thing.
In anything like ordinary times, this sort of utterly insane behaviour would get a minister sacked. But in these rarefied days, Theresa May would do well to keep such insightful holiday planning tips close at hand.
“Just pack a lot in, Prime Minister,” Ms Patel will now remain on hand to tell her. “Too much thinking time, that’s where you can get into trouble I find.”

The highest ranking Civil Servant position is the Principal Private Secretary to the Prime Minister, currently Peter Hill; the most senior Special Adviser post is the Downing Street Chief of Staff, currently held by Gavin Barwell.
Though Number 10 is formally part of the Cabinet Office, it reports directly to the Cabinet Secretary, who is currently Sir Jeremy Heywood.
It appears that Prime Minister May is out of the building, for she certainly has no control over it as the Patel follies continue to play out, if the Jewish Chronicle is correct. Or else there’s a 10 Downing Street cover-up (and covering-butt) going on as the situation also suggests.
Gilad Atzmon contends “that when Jews detect that that something associated with them has become problematic they quickly form satellite dissent movements: they are first to oppose themselves,” Jewish Chronicle appears to be doing somewhat the same thing.
They may be serving a sort of gate-keeping function by lighting up Patel’s political corruption follies in pursuit of her own insatiable ambitions, while keeping in the shadows the behemoths of corrupting influence itself — Anglo-American-Israeli Zionist Jewry. Whatever.

Jewish Chronicle: Exclusive: No 10 knew about Patel meetings
The JC understands that Ms Patel was told by Number 10 not to include extra meetings so as not to embarrass the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
Number 10 instructed Development Secretary Priti Patel not to include her meeting with the Israel foreign ministry official Yuval Rotem in New York on 18 September in her list of undisclosed meetings with Israelis which was published on Monday, the JC has learned.
Ms Patel listed 12 meetings in the statement, and the emergence of two more last night is thought to have made her sacking imminent.
But the JC understands, from two different sources, that Ms Patel did disclose the meeting with Mr Rotem but was told by Number 10 not to include it as it would embarrass the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
In addition, the JC can reveal that although Ms Patel’s meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was not authorised in advance, the British government was made aware of it within hours.
On 22 August – the same day as Ms Patel spoke to Mr Netanyahu – Middle East minister Alistair Burt and David Quarrey, the British Ambassador to Israel, met Michael Oren, Deputy Minister at the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office. According to the notes of the meeting, Mr Oren referred to Ms Patel having had a successful meeting with Mr Netanyahu earlier.
It is understood that this information was then conveyed to Number 10.
In addition, Prime Minister Theresa May spoke to Ms Patel in advance of the UN General Assembly and they discussed the Development Secretary’s meeting with Mr Netanyahu, as well as the details of Ms Patel’s plan for UK aid to be shared with the Israelis. Mrs May agreed that the idea was sensible but needed sign off from the FCO.

Last night I wrote on the JC site that something didn’t add up about Number Ten’s claim that it had no idea about Priti Patel’s meetings with senior Israelis.
As I put it: “Well before last week’s James Landale scoop about Ms Patel’s meetings with Israeli politicians, I was told very matter of factly that there would soon be an announcement of cooperation between the UK and Israel over aid in Africa – that we would divert some of our aid money to the Israelis to fund some of their aid work there. I was told that it had been signed off between DfID and Number Ten, but that the FCO had kicked off because it felt its toes were being trodden on.”
After that story went up, I was contacted by two senior and reliable sources.
Both gave exactly the same story: that although Patel had clearly messed up and had to go, the real story was about Number 10.
Far from being unaware, Number 10 knew in full about her meeting with Mr Netanyahu, because Ms Patel had discussed it with the Prime Minister in September, prior to the UN General Assembly.
I then discovered this morning that Number 10 had been told by Ms Patel about her meeting with Israeli foreign office official Yuval Rotem in New York and had specifically asked her not to include it. It is a truism that with most scandals, the real falloutcomes from the cover up.
My revelations today mean that there are some serious questions for Number 10 to answer about who knew what, when – including the PM.

Israel’s Ambassador this week reflected on a programme that included more than 160 events across the country and a dinner at Lancaster House attended by Theresa May and Benjamin Netanyahu.
“The fact Mrs May invited my prime minister for the day of the centenary as a guest of government says a lot,” he said.
“The centenary gave us an opportunity to look at the relationship that goes back 100 years. For Israelis to remember the part Britain played and for the British to remember the part they played.
“I think there is an understanding in this country – and we don’t have to agree on all the politics all of the time – that Israel is a multi-party democracy with freedom of speech and religion.
“There’s only one land mass in the Middle East that really espouses values British people hold dear and during the centenary we managed to talk about those issues which bring us together.
“It was also an opportunity to talk about defence and security cooperation, trade. On the Andrew Marr programme, he spoke about how security cooperation is saving British lives. People aren’t aware of that.”

Around 500 performers, singers and actors took part in the spectacular event, recalling the events leading up to the historic declaration supporting a Jewish home in Palestine, the mandate period and the creation of the state.
Partners Together in This Great Enterprise – organised by Balfour 100 Christian committee – emphasised the personal ties between Jews and [Judeo-]Christians including Lord Balfour in helping to bring about the government’s 1917 statement.
Israeli singer Tally Koren entertained the crowds with tunes including ‘Jerusalem of Gold’ and ‘Eli Eli’, while the Israeli Dance Institute and Redeemed [Judeo-]Christian Church of God choir also drew prolonged applause.
But the biggest ovation of the night was reserved for Ambassador Mark Regev, who described the gathering as “amazing. It’s simply wonderful to be at the great Royal Albert Hall with an audience united in support of Israel. In bringing the Balfour Declaration, the UK stood up for what is right.”
Zionist Federation director Arieh Miller told the crowds: “We cannot only look backwards. We absolutely must look forward.
“If the Balfour Declaration was the foundation stone to the house, then Israel today is the top floor.
“We might still have the finishing touches to put to the roof, but we have a house that is standing strong and will not be toppled.”
The event ended with a group of young [Judeo-]Christians taking to the speak of their support for Israel and stress the country’s contribution to the world in tech and science.

Never, no matter how one tries to camouflage it as a “family trip” while being led around by the UK’s most famous Israel lobbyist, Lord Joo-bah Stuart Polak to “informally” and “innocently” meet Israeli officials.
Patel’s visit to the Israel Defense Forces field hospital in the Golan as a guest of the Israeli government during her visit is a clear breach of protocol, violating the British government’s very miniscule, but definite diplomatic “red line”.
Upon her return to London, Patel further publicly suggested that Britain help fund the IDF field hospital’s operations. This simply too much for 10 Downing Street to tolerate, demur about, or try to cover up. This was proof out of her own big mouth uttered in her aristocrat-approved Received Dialect that she, a UK official, had been in the forbidden Israel-occupied Syrian territory.
Patel, by sneaking off to Golan on her “family vacation” trying to dodge long-standing diplomatic protocol, actually created a serious international incident for the British government, one which forced May to do something about before the lid blew completely off.
And so, this is how Priti Patel, dazzled by her own clever cunning, drove a spike through her own forehead.
